I've complained about the transfer company to the people I booked the holiday through and had this response:

'Good afternoon With respect to this complaint, as it is a shuttle service, it is not always possible to drop off outside of the hotel and the nearest point will be used. I would also advise that the driver is not obliged to assist with luggage and they do so at their own disrection however, he can still clearly see what is happening at the luggage hold by using his mirrors. No despite the fact that I never asked for a refund, I was simply complaining about the service I (and others on that bus) had received, the points they really missed were that the guy did not speak English and was abandoning people in the middle of Spain in the early hours of the morning and if there were people stealing luggage he wouldn't have stood a chance getting out and attempting to stop them (though I doubt he would have bothered anyway).

Am I wrong in assuming that (with transfers), they should at least be able to speak a little English and provide better directions than just pointing in a direction?

What should I expect from a transfer company?

Return pick-up scheduled for 10:40 (be there 15 minutes before pick-up time but could be up to 15 minutes late it stated on the sheet). We were there at 10:15 and at 11:15 (35 minutes late) I rang them and they stated that the driver was only 5 minutes away and look out for a yellow mini bus. Ten minutes later, a white mini bus pulled up, the driver being full of apologies, siting heavy traffic as the reason. Don't they know how long it takes from airport to venue, traffic congestion in Barcelona? They should allow for this. My wife, who is partially disabled, had to stand for above 1 hour because there were no seats at the location. Would not use them again.

Avoid from 2 travel agency. our luggage got stolen from their couch and they told us it's our responsibility to look after it.

Used From2Travel recently and to be honest the service at the airport was indeed sub standard. We were told we had 8 minutes to catch coach, the coach arrived some 45 minutes after this. The Pujol coach company have some pretty poorly maintained vehicles, and the drivers are complete lunatics. I feared for my family on our way back to the airport as our driver simply could not drive the coach or observe the simple laws of the road. The driver taking us to Blanes was not evengoing to stop there until I approached him.

Next visit to spain will not involve From2Travel as simply they are a complete shower and are responsible for the travel provider they use.

We struggled to find there office at first.But a member of staff (from2travel)approached me and gave us directions to there office.

Hi Linda, what was the outcome of your scenario? I have just experienced the same problem last night. After the bus being an hour late to pick us up from the airport, we got to our hotel, last ones to be dropped off, to discover that one of my bags containing lots of valuable items laptop, ipads, money etc was not there. Driver could not speak any English and just shrugged his shoulders and drove off. The annoying thing is I wanted to take my bag onto the bus with me but the driver would not allow us on with any bags at all. Do you have any advice?

Hi was just wondering what number bus you were on and where you were travelling to resort/hotel as same thing happened to us on Sat 12th late at night. still no bag and we reported it to police can't even claim on insurance cause it "wasn't in our sights" nearly £2000 worth of stuff. Apparently there's a scam going around with the bus driver being involved. We were staying in Bon Repos hotel in Callela

On return we were also not picked up from the address we were given and on phoning the company we were told the driver had come but we weren't there even though we had arrived fifteen minutes before the required time ! Hence knowing the taxi price as that was our only way of getting to the airport. I have now explained what happened to Easyjet holidays and am awaiting their response. By the way when we were first dropped off at the unknown square my suitcase WAS taken by a man ! It turned out he was a taxi driver who thought the coach driver had delivered three ladies to get a taxi . However at the time we didn't realise that having been dumped in a strange city by From2 otherwise we could have asked HIM to get us to our hotel !
