Nashville Celebrity Homes

Keith urban and nicole kidman.

Located in the Green Hills / Belle Meade area of Nashville, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman live in an exclusive gated community called Northumberland. The paid $3.47 million for the 12,582 square foot home in 2008. It’s an incredibly regal home, based on the listing photos, with a huge tennis court and pool out back. There appears to also be a private creek of sorts. #Fancy!

Believe it or not, Big Kenny designed and built what he calls “Chateau di Amore” to be the absolute ideal home.  It was last listed at $10 million and is an insane 18,449 square feet, complete with 8 bedrooms, 6 full baths, 3 half baths, and a gorgeous in-home studio. The backyard patio and pool are perfection, complete with perfectly manicured gardens, a saloon style bar and literally too much to even go into full detail. But, if you’d like the visual scoop, you can check it out for yourself and feel the full thrust of your life’s failure here: Big Kenny House Photos and Address.

You can pretty much sum up the second half of Big & Rich’s estate with one phrase: “Mt. Richmore”. After all, that’s what it says on the entrance gate. Gotta love a guy with a sense of flair. “Massively extravagant” as Taste of Country called it is quite right. This 20 room, 17,081 square foot mansion is complete with 5 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, an elevator, a guitar-shaped pool, guitar-shaped toilet seat covers, and a private club with its own musical stage that is a whopping 4,000 square feet all on its own.

Reba McEntire

This country legend’s former home is 12,819 square feet and located in Lebanon, which is just about a 45-minute ride just east outside of Nashville. When I say it’s the most beautiful home I’ve laid my eyes on thus far – I mean it. The courtyard and manicured gardens, the spiral staircase, the gorgeously carved wooden accents, the granite kitchen walls – the fame of it all. There’s also a pool, a tennis court, and a dock out back as it sits just on the water. But the master bathroom, LAWD honey child. Regal. Reba sold it in 2017 for $3 million and it’s actually an event space now.

Jake Owen’s former pad was located in Kingston Springs which is just about 23 miles southwest of Nashville. This is rustic luxe at its best. This 4,918 square foot home has 4 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms and 1 half bath. It comes with a chef kitchen, a workout room, an elevator, a recording studio, a tiki bar and is sitting on over 7 wooded acres. Oh, and it is also the former home of country music legend Loretta Lynn!

Miranda Lambert

Lambert’s beautiful rustic home hidden away in Williamsport just under 60 miles south of Nashville, is a beautiful, serene little getaway that cost her $3.4 million in 2015. Mounted stag heads. Check. Floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace. Check. Guesthouse. Check. Outdoor firepit. Check. Personal lake. Check. This place is understated luxury at its best. The interior is nothing to go crazy over but she’s got her name all over it. The entire property as a whole makes you feel like you’re having an indefinite stay at a sleep-away summer camp. In a good way.

Kelly Clarkson

Clarkson’s 20,000 square foot, manor home is located in Hendersonville just 20 miles north of Nashville. With it comes 6 acres of land, 7 bedrooms, 8 full baths, and 3 half baths. Three words: Gorgeous, stately, sophisticated. The foyer is absolutely to-die-for with a double spiral staircase and the kitchen has a rustic Restoration Hardware vibe. There’s also a gorgeous back balcony that leads down to a beautiful outdoor pool area, a volleyball pit, and the most adorable wooden playground for the kiddos.   She’s been trying to sell it for quite a while. As of this post, it’s listed at $8.75 million.

Check out Kelly Clarkson House Photos here!

Todd Chrisley

This $1.6 million 4-bedroom, 6 bath, 5,229 square foot home is kind of like the quintessential country family dream home. The gorgeous spiral staircase, the marble fireplaces, countertops, and showers – dear Lord baby Jesus. Everything in this house is beautifully crafted using superior materials — nothing insanely over-the-top or too extravagant – just modest luxury. I mean, really, it’s kind of like everything you would expect for Todd Chrisley’s home.

Check out Todd Chrisley House Photos here!

Martina McBride

Ms. McBride’s home is like a little desert oasis hidden in the city. I mean, the interior is to-die-for. Literally. Elegant luxury at its best and I CANNOT get over the art deco bar. The exterior is breathtakingly beautiful and includes a courtyard, an outdoor patio with a stone fireplace and probably the most gorgeous pool you’ve ever seen complete with a waterfall and lush, perfectly manicured greenery.

Check out Martina McBride House Photos here!

What country stars live in Brentwood, TN?

Dolly parton.

The Zillow pic does not do it justice people. Parton’s Brentwood home is absolutely stunning. I love a good upper-level patio and well-manicured gardens and this estate just meets it all. There’s a huge tennis court on the property, guest homes, a gazebo, a gorgeous pond and the longest driveway you’ve ever seen in your life. Plus, it’s uber private and a perfect fit for my all-time favorite country singer, ever.

Check out Dolly Parton House Photos here!

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill

Five bedrooms, 10 baths, and a whopping 22,426 square feet. Holy moly. But could we really expect anything less for the king and queen of country? I mean this thing is MEGA. Like, I’m talking compound, mega, not just your everyday McMansion mega.  You know how big it is? You could literally fit the neighbor’s mansion inside their backyard/pool area.

Check out Tim McGraw & Faith Hill House Photos here!

So, for those of you who are presently unaware, Jack White is my future ex-husband. He may not be aware of that yet, either, but minor details, folks. So the king of rock (yes I said it!!) has an amazing 18,490 square foot house located in Nashville complete with a huge outdoor pool, a wrap-around porch, an adorably quaint back patio and a fire engine red guest house? Studio? I’m not sure. He’s notoriously private so don’t hold your breath on the interior pics.

Check out Jack White House Photos here!

Amy Grant and Vince Gill

Six bedrooms, 6 baths and 10,377 square feet of pure country luxury, y’all. This house is gorgeous. Nothing spectacular on the outside in terms of design, but just all-around beautiful and I am dying for the front patios on every level. I mean this thing is insane. Two huge parking lots on the property as a well as a gorgeous outdoor pool and what looks like a golf course! Yass kween! They are the cutest.

Check out Amy Grant & Vince Gill House Photos here!

Hillary Scott-Tyrell and Chris Tyrell

This 6-bedroom, 6 bath, 7,851 square foot home is situated in Brentwood and estimated at $2.3 million. It just screams southern country comfort living and is wonderfully stately and demure. The wrap-around patios are to-die-for and the backyard boasts a gorgeous pool area with beautifully manicured gardens. The interior is beautifully done and the home comes complete with a home theater and billiard room.

Check out Hillary Scott-Tyrell House Photos here!

Taylor Swift

Our girl’s gated country estate is located in Forest Hills, TN, which is just next to Brentwood, just outside of Nashville. Vaulted ceilings in the formal living room, a den, a study, a terrace room, guest suites, and a gorgeous outdoor patio and pool area.  There’s also a beautiful fountain and lit columns in the backyard. It’s quaint for Taylor, but it’s classy, it’s understated, and it’s secluded – which is just what our gal needs.

Check out Taylor Swift Nashville House here!

TAYLOR’S PENTHOUSE

Taylor also owns a penthouse in the heart of the city. It’s where she spends most of her time, according to reports and paparazzi photos of her on the balcony 😉

Check out Taylor Swift Nashville House – The Penthouse  here!

Sheryl Crow

Purchased in 2011 for $3.6 million, Crow’s country estate was covered in Country Living and is literally just to die for. It’s not that the house is insanely remarkable in any way, it’s that this woman’s got a major knack for interior décor and I’m literally dying over it.

I mean she’s got it all – a  huge collection of antique books, vintage signage EVERYWHERE and even these super cute vintage tea caddies she discovered in a flea market in Franklin.

There’s also a beautiful piano room (of course there is) with a gorgeous grand piano and a separate barn studio where she records her music (with her 31 guitars). She also created a saloon downstairs but that’s not the killer y’all. To top it all off – she literally built her own church on her own property as a little safe haven and decorated it with her collection of religious statues, figurines, glass cloches, vintage suitcase, and oil portraits.

We would expect nothing less.

What country music stars live in Franklin, TN?

The king and queen of Country actually have a second estate in Franklin as well which sits on 753 acres of land. The entire estate boasts a whopping four residences in total, as well as a 12-stall barn complete with a caretaker’s apartment and various historic features throughout the homes.

Wynonna Judd

The Judd’s are an interesting bunch and generally remain pretty private, so it only makes sense that Wynonna’s home would be situated on a highly secluded plot of land. The ranch-style residence is gated and the home clocks in at a whopping 10,621 square feet.

Check out Wynonna Judd House Photos here!

Naomi’s Franklin, TN home includes a great room with gorgeous wood paneling and copper ceiling details. The interior, in general, is full of natural light which in combination with the vaulted ceilings gives it a beautifully airy ambiance. There’s also an office room full of the various awards the family has won over the years.

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler

This $5.4 million home boasts 10,307 square feet, 8 bedrooms, 8 full bathrooms, and 2 half bathrooms. The farmhouse style mansion sits on 10 acres of land and features a gorgeous wrap-around patio. The interior includes a study and displays beautiful rustic details with tons of natural lighting. It’s regal, it’s elegant, it’s stately and comes complete with a barn and beautifully serene pond.

DeMarco Murray

The former running back for the Tennessee Titans owns a home in Franklin currently being listed for $3.29 million. This French manor-style home features beautifully manicured garden and a gorgeous outdoor pool area. The interior includes a theater room, a large outdoor pool, a grand entry, a game room, a spa bath, a coffee bar, six bedroom suites, seven full bathroom suites, three half baths, and an elevator. It clocks in at 9,600 square feet.

Brad Paisley

The Paisley’s boast a gorgeous two-story log cabin style home complete with beautiful stone fireplaces, a den and an attached garage measuring in at 1,568 square feet. The size in total of the residence clocks in at respectable 11,130 square feet.

Check out Brad Paisley House Photos here!

Carrie Underwood

There’s something about Franklin that keeps pulling Ms. Underwood back. America’s sweetheart purchased a relatively modest 3,099 square foot home with 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and a half-bath in Franklin, Tennessee for $384,000 a few years back. She eventually sold that one and built a custom estate with her hubby Mike Fisher situated on 400 acres of land in the area.

Below is a video of the massive home they are building, courtesy of MEGA via DailyMail. As this is being built they are living in a neighboring barn/cottage-style home on the property, which you can see here:  Carrie Underwood House Photos !

Ronnie Dunn

The other half of Brooks & Dunn owns a beautiful 6-bedroom, 7 bathroom farm manor that’s been coined as “Parkview Farm”. The home itself is 10,898 square feet and sits on 16 acres of land, worth an approximate $8.9 million. There’s also a 4,000 square foot guest house, a greenhouse, a spa, a horse barn, a pool, and a riding ring.

Check out Ronnie Dunn House Photos here!

Jason Aldean

This country king found his home in Columbia, TN – about 45 miles south of Nashville. The rustic estate sits on 120 acres of land and includes a bowling alley, in-law quarters, an outdoor entertainment area, a pool area, and a 10,000 square foot horse facility. The home itself is 9,000 square foot and includes 6 bedrooms and 8.5 baths. He had it listed for $7.875 million for quite some time and finally sold it for $7 million in early 2019.

nashville star tours

This tour was fantastic. Starlene did an amazing job of pointing out highlights of sites, food, healthcare and Nashville in general. For a new visitor, she told us about things to help us plan our time. There is so much food, beverage, and music for most along with sports. Oh and did I mention music?? There is more than just country music. Many genres are throughout and you hear a sample of many along the tour.

nashville star tours

It was easy to use and had plenty of great stops. The drivers were safe and knowledgeable about the city. I will definitely tell friends and family to use the tour bus, it worked perfectly for us!

nashville star tours

We had an amazing tour guide who showed us not only all the sites from the filming of “Nashville”, but also many other interesting places in town. We did get to see the Bluebird Cafe, even though it was not listed on the Sunday tour, which was a bonus for us. It was a very enjoyable tour with lots of interesting highlights of the show. Now we need to go back and watch it again.

nashville star tours

This was our first trip to Nashville and we were looking for a fun way to get an overview of the city. This tour did just that. Our guide, Starlene, was very knowledgable and friendly. Our young children (3 years old) enjoyed the bus ride. It gave us a better sense of the city and some great ideas for things to do during the rest of our time there.

We decided at the last minute to make a reservation for an Opryland Tour. Bill, our guide, was awesome - on time, friendly and always keeping an eye on our group. We had a great time and would recommend Gray Line to others for organized, affordable, professional and fun tours!

This post is in response to all the people who’ve used search engines to find “places to see celebrities in nashville”, “star gazing franklin”, “where to find nashville celebrities”, and other similar searches — and ended up here at our site.

In the past, you would have ended up at Our Favorite Singers & Songwriters page. (For something a little more recent, check out all of the singers & songwriters we’ve seen lately.) Those are our lists of musicians we’ve seen in music venues . No big deal — right?

Now, what about places where Nashville celebrities tend to hang out when they’re not singing music?

Even though we’re definitely not part of the “in” crowd around Nashville, we still happen see a lot of famous people whenever we’re out & about.

Following are some of the best places where you are most likely to spot a celebrity in & around Nashville.

Of course, we’re excluding all of the music venues and locations where the stars are on hand for a specific function.

Places We’ve Spotted Nashville Celebrities

In addition to these locations, be sure to check out the other places that have been mentioned in the Comments below!

  • Hole-in-the-wall pubs like Bunganut Pig in Franklin, and  Puckett’s Grocery/Restaurant in Franklin, downtown Nashville, and Leipers Fork
  • Movie theaters ( Franklin Cinema , AMC Thoroughbred 20 in Cool Springs, 100 Oaks/Regal Hollywood Stadium 27 in Nashville)
  • Restaurants (Nacho’s Mexican restaurant in Franklin, Pancake Pantry in Nashville, Loveless Cafe in Franklin)
  • Snack shops ( Smoothie King in Cool Springs, Starbucks in downtown Franklin)
  • Churches (they say that the singing in most Nashville churches is so good because of all the professional singers filling the seats and singing in the choir!)
  • Hockey games ( Predators at the Bridgestone Arena )
  • Football games ( Titans at Nissan Stadium)
  • Grocery stores (Publix in Williamson County, Puckett’s Grocery in Leipers Fork, Kroger in Brentwood)
  • Major intersections (near Green Hills, Mack Hatcher, Franklin Road — in their own vehicles)
  • Area highways ( I-65 — often being chauffeured in black undercover limousines)
  • Malls ( Cool Springs Galleria , Green Hills Mall )
  • Trendy districts (West End, Hillsboro Village, Music Row, and of course downtown Nashville)
  • The airport ( Nashville International Airport )
  • Various locations all over Nashville ( filming movies !)

I’m sure there are plenty of others, but these are the just places where we (or our friends) have seen famous musicians and Nashville celebrities in and around Music City.

Oh, and don’t overlook the downtown Nashville bars ! Yep, many Country music stars and Nashville celebrities like to mix & mingle with the locals and tourists at the honky tonks and clubs all along Broadway — from 2nd Avenue to Music Row.

TIP: If someone’s playing at the Ryman, chances are pretty good that they’ll be making their way to some of the local clubs after the show. (Psst… keep your eye on Ryman Alley , too!)

Don’t forget, the local Nashville celebrities are really just people with famous names who happen to be down-to-earth folks like you & me looking for a good time, or a good place to eat. The locals are pretty good about giving them their space — I hope you will, too.

Looking For Names?…

While we’ve definitely seen our fair share of famous people  (not all Country music stars, by the way) in and around Nashville since we moved here in 2001 — in fact, so many that names and places are easy for us to forget.

Puckett's Grocery in Leipers Fork, TN -- it's a gas station, a grocery store, a convenience store, and a live music venue where Nashville celebrities frequently hang out!

Perhaps we will continue to add to this list as time goes on, but for now, here’s a sampler:

  • Jessica Andrews – Predators hockey game
  • Deana Carter – Predators hockey game
  • Charlie Chase Target in Cool Springs
  • Kenny Chesney – Smoothie King in Cool Springs; driving in Franklin
  • Ashley Cleveland – driving near Fieldstone Farms in Franklin; movie theater in Cool Springs
  • Sara Evans – eating at Puckett’s Grocery in Franklin

A Word About Photographing Our Famous Neighbors

While I would encourage you to always have your camera on hand for this and other reasons, I would also encourage you to respect their privacy.

As Jim always says (every time I see someone famous and think about taking a picture):

Just remember, the more our ‘famous neighbors’ are inconvenienced by people taking their picture and asking for autographs, the less likely they will be to continue going out in public places and mingling with us ‘regulars’. They deserve to be treated like regular citizens too.

Truth is, Jim and I have very few photographs of the Nashville celebrities that we’ve seen out & about. (But, I have to be honest… there have been a handful I wish we would’ve — especially when we ran into Alan Jackson on this day .)

Nashville is known for being a place where celebrities can blend in, or at least avoid the paparazzi. But that doesn’t mean the rest of us can’t gawk or snap a stealthy photo when our paths cross with fame. Thankfully, if you want to catch a glimpse of the city’s royalty — elite musicians, movie stars and television standouts — you don’t have to make reservations months in advance at an exclusive restaurant. A casual town makes for casual celebrity sightings. ~ Source
It’s inconsiderate to approach a celebrity during a random street sighting. However, if you spot someone famous at a public event — such as a movie opening or a book signing, where a celeb knows she’ll be on display — you can feel free to ask for an autograph. Otherwise, respect the person’s space; you’d wish for the same if your roles were reversed. ~ Emily Post’s Etiquette Daily

These days, autographs are far less common than photographs around Nashville. However, we recommend using this same rationale before you snap a photo of someone famous.

The nice thing about being a celebrity in Nashville is the way you’re treated by the locals. Most people don’t bother the celebrities, but instead give a nod or an appreciative statement. So if you’re in Nashville and you do spot a celebrity, do as the Romans do, and let them enjoy their lifestyle as well. ~ fellow Nashvillian, Dan Morris

We couldn’t have said it better!

Other Places For Nashville Star-Gazing

The following locations come highly recommended by others:

  • Music City Marathon
  • Nahville Hot Yoga (And The Disney Store)
  • Elliston Place Soda Shop
  • West End, Green Hills & More
  • Upscale Eateries & Chain Restaurants
  • Loveless Cafe
  • Green Hills Mall
  • Nashville Cracker Barrel

Finally, the ultimate authority in town regarding local celebrities is Brad Schmitt. For the inside scoop on who was spotted where, don’t miss his regular column in the Tennessean newspaper.

Tour The Stars’ Homes In Nashville

You could always take a tour bus through various parts of Nashville to view the stars’ homes and other locations where the local celebrities hang out.

There are “drive-by tours” where you rarely leave the vehicle, and the guide stops in front of noteworthy locations for you to take photos and video footage from inside the bus or van.

But if you want to be able to say you’ve been there, done that, then you’ll want to consider a “stop-n-go tour” — where you get on and off the vehicle several times in order to go into various buildings.

If you’re up for a crazy good time, then check out the popular  Nash Trash Tours  hosted by the Jugg Sisters. The laughing never stops and the stories are ones you’ll never forget. It’s definitely a TRIP!

Another Nashville tour company that always ranks high among the tourists: Gray Line Bus Tours . We took their tour of Studio B on Music Row  and thoroughly enjoyed it. Their driver/tour guide made the tour especially enjoyable! ( Studio B is where the legends recorded their hits.)

Our favorite tour guide on the Grayline bus tours... I forget his name though.

Nashville Sightseeing Tours  is another good tour company worth considering.

One that I’m not personally familiar with is the Vacations Made Easy line of Nashville tour packages. If you’ve been on one of their tours (or know someone who has), let us know in the comments below if you would recommend them.

Madi Diaz, Nashville's indie starlet, says Music City makes her 'feel seen'

nashville star tours

Madi Diaz is brazen, bold, unfiltered.

She writes songs about some of the difficult interpersonal conversations we're all scared of having. It's made her one of the biggest rising alternative-indie stars in Nashville and the wider music scene.

In one of her songs, Diaz asks her then partner if their intense love could fall apart and ruin both of their lives. In another, she calls out a boyfriend's ex-girlfriend for calling him when he's in a new relationship. She sings, "Are you hoping he'll catch feelings for you again?"

Her voice is smooth and soft, but she can belt with power. Diaz's sound draws from artists like Waxahatchee, Sarah Jarosz and Julien Baker, but with her own unique warmth.

In 2023, Diaz toured with Harry Styles and duetted with friend Kacey Musgraves. Recently, she sang on "The Tonight Show "  and "CBS Saturday Morning," following the February release her lauded new album "Weird Faith."

Though Diaz has been around the block, her career as indie music's newest starlet is reaching new heights. Listeners are taking note.

Music City always gave back to Diaz

The 37-year-old singer-songwriter, who grew up in Pennsylvania, attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she honed her skills. Diaz still collaborates regularly with some of her Berklee classmates, like her drummer on tour, Adam Popick.

Diaz first moved to Music City in 2007 with collaborator Kyle Ryan. "We kind of did everything together," Diaz said.

Now Diaz is more of a solo act, and Ryan owns a music studio where he writes and records, Diaz said.

Diaz left Nashville briefly, spending a five-year stint in Los Angeles from 2012 to 2017. She found the City of Angels wasn't for her and felt called back to Music City.

"I guess it always felt like I was going to come back home at some point," Diaz said. "(Nashville) felt like home.

"I had been through so much in Los Angeles, whether it was starting bands that kind of fizzled out or weren't going to work out, or these relationships that I had, personally and romantically, that blew up in my face. And Nashville just didn't care."

She felt friends acknowledged her experiences in L.A. but never judged her or made her feel bogged down on the past.

"Nashville is always taking care of me," Diaz said. "I just felt so nurtured and seen."

There was something special about Nashville in the late 2000s, Diaz said. "Everybody was excited about what everybody else was doing and wanted to be involved."

Even when she was in Los Angeles, Diaz joked that Nashville was paying her bills.

Diaz collaborates with Kacey Musgraves

Now, Diaz finds herself in a Nashville music scene that feels like one giant melting pot, not one separated by genre.

"There's just so much good, creative energy, supportive energy," Diaz said.

Among song of Diaz's collaborators are Stephen Wilson Jr. , Olivia Barton, Steph Jones, Charlie Hickey, Lori McKenna and Kacey Musgraves.

Musgraves appears on the song "Don't Do Me No Good," a tune that Diaz released as a single in November ahead of her new album. Musgraves and Diaz have known each other for years but became better friends during the COVID-19 pandemic when they found themselves hanging out in the same bubble.

When it came time to record "Don't Do Me Good," Diaz said, the song "just felt like such a singular, lonely kind of feeling. And I really just wanted a friend on there with me."

So she dialed up Musgraves.

"You know, Kace and I had spoken a lot about that particular topic of when do you leave? Whether it's professionally or personally, I feel like that's a thing a lot of us deal with. When do you just call it? When do you say enough is enough?"

So together, the two collaborated on a heartfelt song about when to walk away and move forward. They harmonize: "Every time I try to walk away I stay, you knew I would / I know loving you, it don't do me good."

In new album 'Weird Faith,' Madi Diaz muses on hurting, healing

"Weird Faith," Diaz's fifth studio album, is a 12-track collection that touches on romantic relationships and having trust in good things happening again after life has felt dismal.

"I had survived this grieving period where my heart had been broken," Diaz said.

"There's this thing that happens after you go through heavy heartbreak and you're in this healing phase where it's really hard to not get really calloused and close off and decide to not open up parts of yourself anymore."

As Diaz tried to allow herself to believe in herself again, "Weird Faith" took shape.

"(It) was kind of written on the backs of a lot of mantras that I was finding from myself," Diaz said.

She had fallen in love and found a partner, felt her career evolving through tour offers, found a label, great management and a team that had her back.

"(I had) all of these things that I hadn't had and was feeling a lot of excitement and joy," she said.

But simultaneously, Diaz found herself suspicious of how good things had become.

"I feel like 'Weird Faith' started to come about as I was unpacking that," she said of her suspicions, "and wondering why it was so hard for me to keep believing in good things continuing to happen."

The result is a 41-minute album that is so specific, it's relatable.

In the title track "Weird Faith," Diaz reminds herself that every love comes with a lesson and that she can pick herself up off the floor, changing for the better at the next turn.

Another track, "Kiss the Wall," finds Diaz meditating on efficiency. She sings, "I love this place, I love waiting in line / Nothin' is a waste of time."

The dreamy song captures the importance of being present in the little moments, not just the big ones like headlining tours and recording albums.

That tune reminds Diaz of bartending at Nashville's Wilburn Street Tavern in 2018, one her favorite bars to this day. She found pouring liquor for friends and washing glasses meditative.

Diaz didn't make a lot of money there, but "it was such a haven for me in that time period and a very healing period that I would never take back," she said.

Though Diaz's album discusses healing moments, big and small, it also allows her to sit in the pain, too.

Diaz's favorite track on the new album is "Hurting You." She wrote the song in response to a time when she felt like her words were damaging everyone around her.

"It felt like I was like a porcupine," she said. "Everything that comes out of my mouth just feels like poison, like it just hurts coming out. And I'm sure it hurts whoever it's hitting."

With longing and soaring notes, Diaz sings, "You never even know it, 'cause I can't say it / Right now, I know it's hard for you to see / Hurting you is hurting me."

Diaz hits the road on Weird Faith Tour

Though the hurt in Diaz's album is palpable, she said, "I'm living, breathing, I'm on tour. There's some things that are really wonderful about what's happening in my life right now."

She continued, "And there are some things that are really hard about what's happening in my life right now. But that's just part of the whole thing."

Currently, Diaz is on her Weird Faith Tour, which brought her to Nashville for a lively hometown show at the Brooklyn Bowl on March 8.

The Nashville show saw fans belting along, some in tears as they felt the gravity of Diaz's raw lyrics live for the first time.

Next, Diaz will be headed out West and to California, hitting the road with Daniel Nunnelee. Later in the year, she will tour as Musgraves' supporting act.

Bob Dylan Treats Star-Studded Brooklyn Bowl Nashville Crowd to ‘Rough and Rowdy Ways’ Cuts and More (Night One)

On Tuesday, March 26, Bob Dylan took his ever-expanding Rough and Rowdy Ways Tour to Nashville, Tenn.’s Brooklyn Bowl. The night was a typical display for the musical bard, who leaned heavily into his 39th studio album/ tour namesake, Rough and Rowdy Ways , cutting into nine songs off the set and ending the event by recognizing some special guests in the audience, regional staple Jack White and acclaimed record producer T Bone Burnett.

To start the live show, Dylan treated his Music City crowd to a piece from the archives, landing on “Watching the River Flow” before Blonde on Blonde pull “Most Likely You Go Your Way and I’ll Go Mine.” Next, Dylan, who is currently the feature of a new biopic starring Timothée Chalamet, A Complete Unknown , reminded the room, “I Contain Multitudes,” before closing out the Rough and Rowdy Ways number and moving into another tune off the 2020 set.

Dylan struck an emotive nerve with the addition of “When I Paint My Masterpiece” and ensuing renditions of “Black Rider” and “My Own Version of You.” Sticking to the script, or typical tour offering, the musician led his band through “Crossing the Rubicon” before hitting on a fitting LP, given the concert location, Nashville Skyline , on “To Be Alone With You.” “Key West (Philosopher Pirate)” marked the next delivery before fan favorite, “Gotta Serve Somebody.”

The final leg of the show saw Dylan fall into a display of “I’ve Made Up My Mind to Give Myself to You” before adding Johnny Cash’s “Big River,” a cover that entered the artist’s rotation earlier this year after a two-decade break in live plays. Staying true to the billing, Rough and Rowdy Ways cuts “Mother of Muses” and “Goodbye Jimmy Reed” filled the space before the night’s send-off, “Every Grain of Sand,” which was preceded by mentions of White and Burnett.

After last night’s show, Dylan will return to the esteemed Music City venue tonight, Wed., March 27. Tonight’s concert is sold out.

Brown signed with RCA Nashville in 2016 and released the single "What Ifs" featuring Lauren Alaina.

Parmalee consists of brothers Matt Thomas and Scott Thomas, along with their cousin Barry Knox and family friend Josh McSwain.

They have accumulated more than 1 billion on-demand streams and three No. 1 hits including their breakthrough hit “Carolina,” the Blanco Brown collaboration “Just The Way” and “Take My Name.”

Parmalee’s current single, “Girl In Mine,” is a Top 10 hit and climbing.

Jennifer Lopez cancels handful of shows on first tour in 5 years, fans demand explanation

nashville star tours

Jennifer Lopez has canceled shows in seven cities on her upcoming " This Is Me…Now The Tour ," her first tour in five years.

According to Ticketmaster's website , Lopez will no longer stop in Nashville, New Orleans, Raleigh, Atlanta, Houston, Cleveland and Tampa.

Ticketmaster's website says that the event organizer has canceled the event and that no action is required to obtain a refund. At this time, the reason for the canceled shows is unknown.

USA TODAY has reached out to reps for Lopez, Ticketmaster and Live Nation.

Some fans expressed disappointment in the comments section on the website.

"The concert in Raleigh was cancelled. and for several days now we have been waiting for at least some comments, but no one is giving them. This is disrespectful towards the audience! I can’t even buy a new ticket in another state now, because I don’t know which cities will cancel!" one person wrote.

Another commented, "The show in ATL was canceled. Why was this show canceled with no explanation."

In February, Lopez announced her upcoming tour in celebration of her new record "This Is Me...Now," which released in mid-February as a 16-track deluxe album.

Lopez has said that this might be her final album and she doesn’t suggest otherwise when asked to explain why she would be happy with “This is Me … Now” as her swan song.

“This was going to be the quintessential thing I have been searching for and wanted to say about love. I’ve been guy on this search for so long, since people first met me and my first record came out and even before that in my first movie role, where I’ve been on this journey trying to figure this thing out for myself. This (album) kind of closed the loop in a way,” Lopez previously told USA TODAY.

Jennifer Lopez says new album sums up her feelings, could be her last: 'True love does exist'

She added: “It captures this moment to really say the things I want to say about love, and that is that true love does exist and some things are forever. Please don’t give up on that because that’s all that matters in life … love.”

The upcoming tour will also feature Lopez's chart-breakers and classic hits from her discography, like songs "On The Floor," "Let's Get Loud" and "Jenny from the Block." Lopez's most recent tour in 2019, the "It's My Party" tour, sold out venues across the country.
