Summary & Comparison — Top 6 Walking Tours in Budapest

italian tour budapest

Reviews calculation: I am using the total review count of the activity from GetYourGuide, Tripadvisor, Guruwalk and Viator.

1. Night Vampire Walking Tour in Buda Castle District

italian tour budapest

💡 Note: This review is based on my experience during the 8:00 pm English-language tour, led by Joe as our guide.

Immerse yourself in the mysteries of the night with Budapest's one-of-a-kind walking tour , centered around undead folklore and haunting tales of the Hungary and Eastern Europe.

This isn't your average historical walking tour; prepare for spine-tingling stories that delve deep into Eastern European myths about vampires, ghosts, and the undead .

Highlights of the Tour

italian tour budapest

I can attest that this tour is not just another walking tour in Budapest—it's an immersive storytelling experience . Our guide, Joe, with his 20 years of improv acting experience, brings depth, humor, and a dramatic twist to Eastern European myths.

His spellbinding narrative skills are complemented by the ethereal beauty of the Castle District at night , a setting that enriches the storytelling and makes the tour truly unforgettable.

Starting Point and Accessibility

italian tour budapest

The journey begins at Clark Ádám Square , located at the base of Buda Hill. From here, you'll embark on a 5-10 minute ascent up the hill's stairs. For those with mobility issues, a funicular option is available to take you to the top for an extra 10€ fee.

italian tour budapest

The group size struck a perfect balance, numbering between 20 and 25 participants . This made it easy to connect with other tour participants without complicating the practical aspects of the tour, such as walking and finding a good listening spot around our guide.

Points of Critique

italian tour budapest

While Joe is an engaging orator, I found the latter half of the tour to lose a bit of its initial spark. After hearing 5-6 out of the total ten tales, the storytelling began to feel a bit repetitive .

Coupled with the late evening timing, the group's energy waned toward the end. Still, Joe’s dynamism keeps the atmosphere electric for most of the tour.

Should You Go?

italian tour budapest

If you're less concerned with historical facts and more interested in the dark and mysterious folklore of Budapest and Eastern Europe, this tour is a must-try. It's a thrilling way to explore the Castle District under the cloak of night.

2. Buda Castle Cave Labyrinth Walking Tour

italian tour budapest

💡 Note: This review is based on my personal experience of a 1.5-hour English cave tour.

Discover the hidden depths of Budapest in the extensive cave system beneath the city's Castle District.

Known as Budavári barlang, this section was reopened to the public in 2019 after being off-limits for years.

The tour focuses on a fascinating 3km stretch of caves and takes you on a journey through time, exploring the geological and human history of these mysterious underground tunnels.

italian tour budapest

What sets this tour apart is its dedication to historical accuracy .

You'll learn about how these caves formed over millions of years — you'll even get to see where a mammoth left one of its teeth!

Beyond the geology, the tour dives into the 800-year history of human usage of the caves, from medieval storage and tax evasion to their roles as prisons, war refuges, criminal hideouts, and even locations for clandestine parties in the 90s.

italian tour budapest

The temperature inside the cave averages 10-12°C , so it's advisable to wear warm clothing and comfortable footwear you don't mind getting dirty.

However, for those visiting in summer attire, free ponchos are provided to keep you warm.

italian tour budapest

The meeting spot is at Trinity Square , right by the Trinity statue. A quick 5-minute walk will take you to the cave's entrance.

Unfortunately, the cave is not accessible to individuals with mobility impairments.

italian tour budapest

With an group size of 20-25 participants , the tour struck a perfect balance — facilitating smooth navigation through the maze-like caves while also enabling captivating, interactive storytelling.

italian tour budapest

In all honesty, there were few drawbacks to this unique journey, if any.

The tour company goes to great lengths to ensure everyone's comfort, and the expert guides make the experience engaging and educational.

If history blended with a touch of geology intrigues you, this is your tour.

italian tour budapest

Absolutely, yes!

This tour is an excellent choice for those who are looking for something more niche and offbeat than your run-of-the-mill walking tour. It's an experience that leaves you both educated and intrigued.

3. Best Jewish Quarter Walking Tour

italian tour budapest

💡 Note: This review is based on my personal experience of a 2.5-hour English walking tour.

Immerse yourself in the rich Jewish heritage of Budapest on this enlightening tour.

The excursion not only offers a deep dive into the harrowing years of World War II but also presents a comprehensive history of Jewish life in Hungary dating back to medieval times.

As a Hungarian who supposedly knows this country, I still learned a lot of intriguing historical facts.

italian tour budapest

For history aficionados seeking more than just surface-level information, this tour is a goldmine.

The guide provides rigorous academic-level commentary , requiring a high level of English proficiency (unless you take the Spanish tour of course).

Notable landmarks include synagogues and poignant memorials dedicated to heroes who resisted Nazi and Arrow Cross Party oppression.

italian tour budapest

The tour kicks off at Imre Madách Square and concludes at Dohány Street Synagogue. The entire tour is outdoors and wheelchair-accessible, and it takes place in the Jewish Quarter (VII. District).

italian tour budapest

The tour was structured well to accommodate a medium-sized group (20-30 people), ensuring everyone could hear the guide clearly and see the landmarks.

italian tour budapest

Though the tour was generally excellent, the guide could have introduced himself more formally (as he just went straight into the material) and allowed pauses for absorption between his in-depth explanations (as his speech felt like speed-reading at times).

italian tour budapest

I highly recommend for history enthusiasts who appreciate a nuanced, detailed exploration of Jewish history in Budapest.

  • 🕒 Duration: 2.5 hours
  • 💵 Cost: " Free" (Suggested donation of 10-20€ at tour's end)

4. Best Budapest Inner City Walking Tour

italian tour budapest

💡 Note: This review is based on my personal experience of a 2.25-hour English walking tour.

This walking tour is a perfect way to get an overview of Budapest's history , taking place in the inner district of Pest.

You'll gain insights into our past, including the troubled times during the Soviet era , the period after the fall of the Berlin Wall which we call "The System Change," and even contemporary history and controversies.

italian tour budapest

For first-time visitors seeking a comprehensive introduction to Budapest's rich history, this tour is an ideal choice. The tour offers not just historical accuracy but also local insights, thanks to our Hungarian guide.

italian tour budapest

The meeting location is at Kossuth Square by the Hungarian Parliament. More precisely, it’s near the M2 metro and/or tram station . The tour is wheelchair-friendly and welcomes those with mobility challenges. The tour concludes at Vigadó Square.

italian tour budapest

We were among about 30 participants . Despite being a larger group, it didn’t take away from the enjoyment or educational value of the tour. I even struck up some pleasant conversations with fellow tour mates.

italian tour budapest

The only minor issue was that the tour guide was not a native English speaker . However, her genuine local Hungarian perspective more than made up for this.

italian tour budapest

You know the answer already — yes! Especially if you're a first-time visitor wanting a rich, historical overview of Budapest, you'll find this tour worthwhile.

  • 🕒 Duration: 2.25 hours
  • 🇬🇧 English: Typically at 10:00 am
  • 🇪🇸 Spanish: Typically at 10:00 am,11:30 am and 5:00 pm
  • 👨‍👩‍👦 Family-Friendly: Yes, offers a well-rounded historical overview suitable for all ages
  • 🗺️ Tour Area: Delving into the heart of Pest (V. District)
  • 📍 Starting Point: Hungarian Parliament (Hungarian Parliament)
  • 🏁 End Point: Vigadó tér (Vigadó Square)
  • 🏰 Landmarks Visited: The tour starts at the Hungarian Parliament and takes you through an exploration of the Communist era and the 1956 revolution, Liberty Square, the Monument to Soviet Heroes, the Monument to the Victims of the German Invasion, the Chain Bridge, the Danube Riverbank with views of Buda’s city panorama, St. Stephen's Basilica, Queen Sisi Square, Vorosmarty Square, and concludes at Vigadó Square (Note: The tour only passes by these landmarks; there's no entry into the buildings)

🗺️ Meeting Point: Gather at Kossuth Lajos square , between right next to the tram stop. Look for an orange umbrella. 🚌 Public Transport: Take metro or tram line 2 and take a brief walk to the meeting point. 🚶‍♂️ On Foot: The central areas of Budapest are highly walkable. You can comfortably reach our meeting spot with a 15-20 minute stroll from most central locations.

5. Best Buda Castle District Walking Tour

italian tour budapest

💡 Note: This review is based on my personal experience of a 2-hour English walking tour.

Discover the architectural and historical gems in Budapest's Castle District with this straightforward yet thoroughly engaging walking tour. This tour offers a factual and no-nonsense overview of the district's landmarks, perfect for those wanting a solid introduction to Hungary's storied past.

italian tour budapest

The tour offers an enriching walk through the charming cobblestone streets of the Castle District, covering major landmarks like the Royal Palace ("Buda Castle"), Matthias Church, and Fisherman's Bastion.

What stands out is the tour's commitment to factual storytelling, devoid of the supernatural or fantastical elements you might find on other tours.

italian tour budapest

The tour kicks off at Trinity Square , right in front of the iconic Trinity Statue. Plus, the entire tour is wheelchair accessible, making it convenient for everyone

italian tour budapest

With a group of roughly 25 people, it was easy to move around and the tour never felt overcrowded.

italian tour budapest

The tour delivers what it promises: a comprehensive, factual overview. However, prepare yourself for the elements—like heat, if you happen to visit during a hot spell like I did. 😅

italian tour budapest

Certainly. If you're looking for a straightforward, facts-based exploration of Budapest's Castle District, this tour fits the bill.

  • 💵 Cost: 10€
  • 🇬🇧 English: Starts at 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm
  • 🇮🇹 Italian: Starts at 10:00 am (Weekends only)
  • 🇫🇷 French: Available for private group tours only
  • 🇩🇪 German: Available for private group tours only
  • 🏁 End Point: Szentháromság tér (Trinity Square)
  • 🏰 Landmarks Visited: Royal Palace ("Buda Castle"), Matthias Church, Fisherman's Bastion, and everything in between (Note: The tour only passes by these landmarks; there's no entry into the buildings)

6. Grand City Tour of Budapest

italian tour budapest

💡 Note: This review is based on my personal experience of a 3-hour English walking tour.

Embark on a comprehensive 3-hour tour of Budapest, encapsulating both the Pest and Buda sides of the iconic city.

With a blend of air-conditioned bus rides and leisurely walking, you'll have the chance to witness major landmarks, from Heroes' Square to the Castle District while learning of their history.

italian tour budapest

Though it provides a sweeping view, be prepared for a surface-level overview that touches upon, but does not delve deeply into, each individual area.

italian tour budapest

The tour gave me a bird's eye view of Budapest . It kicked off with a brief but informative stop at Heroes' Square and proceeded to drive past local landmarks like the Opera House, Városliget and Keleti Railway Station.

What sets this tour apart is its unique approach to ascending the Castle Hill — coming up from the side opposite the Danube, a welcome change from typical tours.

italian tour budapest

The journey begins at Clark Ádám Square , located at the base of Buda Hill. From here, you'll embark on a 5-10 minute ascent up the hill's stairs. A word of caution: the tour is not suitable for mobility-impaired individuals.

italian tour budapest

The tour was structured well to accommodate a medium-sized group, ensuring everyone could hear the guide clearly and see the landmarks.

italian tour budapest

While the tour was extensive, it left me wanting more , especially when it came to exploring the Pest side.

The quick stop at Heroess' Square and drive-by sightings don't do justice to the richness of the landmarks.

However, the air-conditioned bus was a welcome respite from the sweltering heat. The Castle District tour was spectacular though.

italian tour budapest

If you are time-constrained but still want a quick overview of Budapest, this tour fits the bill. For those looking for a more detailed exploration, consider setting aside a full day.

  • 🕒 Duration: 3 hours

  • 🗺️ Tour Area: Begins at Heroes Square (15 mins), transitions into a hop-on, hop-off style tour of Pest, and culminates in an in-depth exploration of the Castle District.
  • 📍 Starting Point: Cityrama & Gray Line Travel Agency, Báthory utca 19, Budapest 1054
  • 🏁 End Point: Parlament (Hungarian Parliament)

This means the place draws everyone from middle-class Hungarian families looking for Italian comfort food to office workers and tourists. As a result, the ever-expanding space, which has managed to retain a cozy vibe, is packed to capacity with a mixed crowd every day of the week. While not cheap by Budapest standards — mains are €15-20 — price points aren't outrageous for the quality.

It's hard to go wrong with anything, but highlights include the rich, Tuscan tomato soup (pappa al pomodoro), the strozzapreti hand-rolled pasta, and the branzino fillet, be it grilled or steamed and filled with pancetta and black mussels. The pizzas, prepared in a wood-burning oven, skew Neapolitan with an airy crust. Do save room for dessert as the profiterole and the good old tiramisu are among the best you'll find in Budapest. Often overrun by business people from the nearby financial district during the day, Pomo D'Oro is most enjoyable in the evenings. Reservations are an absolute must.

#2 Ristorante Krizia

Opened in 1997 by owner-chef Graziano Cattaneo, a native from Lombardy, Krizia comes closest in Budapest to offering a true-to-Italy ristorante experience. The place is located inside an elegant below-ground space on a quiet street in Budapest's District 6 , near the city center. The snug restaurant has less than a dozen tables — all of them covered in white linen — and adorably ceremonial servers, especially the older of the two long-time waiters.

The menu features typical northern Italian fare like lasagne and tortelloni, the latter also available with a foie gras-filling in case you'd like a special treat. I also enjoy Krizia's creamy risotto — to be eaten with a spoon — and the sliced filet mignon with porcini mushrooms and a side of stracchino cheese-infused polenta. The wine list comprises everything from Lambruscos to Chiantis and Brunellos, and you can round out your meal in Italian style with a splash of Fernet or some other amaro. Mains are €15-20. Note that Krizia serves a wallet-friendly, though less elaborate, lunch prix-fixe on weekdays.

#3 Tom George Budapest

Tom George is a chic Italian restaurant on a tourist-heavy downtown street in Budapest. The highlight of the spacious restaurant is the outdoor terrace — heated and covered in the colder months — that's perfect for people watching. The reliably made pan-Italian dishes include everything from salads to pastas to wood-oven pizzas to steaks and range in price from €15 to €25. Those with a sweet tooth should not miss the seasonal desserts, which might include torta della nonna, a custardy Tuscan treat, or a classic millefoglie. There's a long wine list of both Italian and Hungarian bottles.

While the food isn't revolutionary, Tom George is one of those trendy, high-turnover restaurants with consistent dishes and a professional service. It can get crowded, so be sure to book in advance.

#4 Fausto’s Ristorante

Fausto’s Ristorante, which opened in 1994, is a classic fine dining restaurant in Budapest with a hat-tip to northern Italian fare. Forget pizza and Caprese salad; here scallops, foie gras, flatfish, and venison loin are the gastronomic currency. A couple of egg pasta and risotto are also available, made with deliciously rich sauces. The decor is traditional fine dining: soft background music drifts from the background of the dim dining room, which has only a dozen tables, all set with heavy linen tablecloths.

Under the vigilant eyes of owner Fausto Di Vora, always dressed in a chef's coat, an army of waiters quietly scurry around the tables that tend to fill up on Friday and Saturday evenings with well-heeled tourists and local businesspeople. Be sure to bring a full wallet as you can easily rack up a bill for the equivalent of €80 per person for a three-course a la carte meal without wine.

#5 Alessio Restaurant

If you like Italian food and would like a break from the bustle of the city center, head over to Alessio. With densely carpeted floors and crammed tables, this charming neighborhood restaurant is tailored to the local residents of this elite Buda neighborhood. Little about the interior will evoke the Tuscan countryside, but the dishes can hold their own. Alessio’s claim to fame, the garlic shrimp, is actually a Spanish classic (gambas al ajillo), arriving in a sizzling sauce of olive oil, chili, and garlic. It's impossible to stop eating (use the bread to mop up the rich leftover sauce to the last drop).

Other standouts include the grilled octopus and the tender and moist branzino fillet. The only dud I came across was the tiramisu of all things — it was too crumbly and the ladyfingers weren't integrated in the mascarpone — but it was much better on a later visit. Mains are €15-20.

italian tour budapest

#6 Al Dente

Al Dente is one of those under-the-radar neighborhood restaurants in Budapest you hope others won't find out about so as to keep it all to yourself. This osteria-type casual eatery within Budapest's charming Palace Quarter serves pan-Italian classics. The ever-changing daily meat, seafood, and vegetarian pastas are cooked simply and well. The pizzas lean Naples style, and you can round out a meal with homemade tiramisu, panna cotta, or cannoli. If you need to wait for a table, grab a drink at Lumen , one of my favorite Budapest bars two minutes from here on Horánszky Street.

italian tour budapest

#7 Il Terzo Cerchio

Il Terzo Cerchio is a reliable mid-range Italian restaurant in Budapest’s historic Jewish Quarter . A brick vaulted ceiling, rustic wooden furniture, and a wood-burning oven help evoke Tuscan countryside vibes on this Budapest side street (the restaurant's moniker is a reference to Dante's third circle of hell where gluttons were punished).

The food here isn’t going to blow your mind, but the pastas, seafoods, grilled meats, and pizzas are all reliable. The creamy and flavorful tomato soup, and the tagliatelle coated in pungent Tuscan sausage and a mild stracchino cheese sauce are especially good. The pizzas, flaunting a puffy crust and a moist center, gravitate toward the Neapolitan-style. Hungarian and Italian wines are also available. Mains are €10-15.

#8 2 Spaghi Pasta Bar

Run by three Italian natives, 2 Spaghi is a small pasta shop in Budapest with an endearingly simple mission: serve fresh, made-to-order pasta dishes quickly and well. You're invited to pair a variety of pasta shapes (fusilli, bucatini, tagliatelle, etc.) with a rotating set of sauces. On any day, there might be cacio e pepe, carbonara, puttanesca, amatriciana, and aglio, olio e peperoncino listed on the blackboard.

You can't go wrong with any of them and they each cost around €12. Of the stuffed pastas, the ravioli with spinach and ricotta is especially good. If you have some stomach space left, round out your meal with a light panna cotta topped with strawberry sauce.

Note that 2 Spaghi is located inside Gozsdu Udvar, a tourist-heavy passage lined with overpriced bars and restaurants. I can't help thinking that this charming pasta joint would deserve a more worthy home, but if you don't like the vibes here, you can also just buy some fresh pasta to go.

italian tour budapest

#9 Da Mario Budapest

Da Mario is a pricey modern Italian restaurant in Budapest, set on a precious piece of downtown real estate between the Hungarian Parliament building and Liberty Square, with views onto both from its outdoor terrace. Instead of a trattoria vibe, the polished, high-ceilinged space features sleek leather banquettes and dark furnishings. Being within the city's financial and government district, business meals here are more typical than date nights.

Executive chef Alessandro Smanio is a native of Ferrara in Emilia-Romagna, which explains why northern Italian classics like the ricotta and spinach-stuffed tortelloni and the creamy risotto with parmesan are among the top dishes. The long menu also features grilled meats, wood-oven pizzas, pastas, and seafood. The Instagram-friendly fish soup arrives teeming with crustacean — langoustine claws project out of the plate — black mussels, squids, and octopus. Not all dishes are hits: the strozzapreti pasta with pesto and shrimp was unremarkable, and the standard Italian desserts (tiramisu, panna cotta, profiterol) tasted no better than elsewhere. Mains are €18-25.

italian tour budapest

#10 Porcellino Grasso Ristorante

Porcellino Grasso is a popular Italian neighborhood restaurant on Rózsadomb, an exclusive residential enclave on the Buda side of Budapest. Accordingly, grand, secluded villas line the streets near the restaurant. Porcellino serves reliable Italian comfort food, but few are the truly memorable dishes so it's fitting that most patrons are local residents and office workers.

Among the better options are the tomato bruschetta, the wood-oven pizzas, and the seafood spaghetti. Given the scenic hillside location, the attentive service staff, and the deep wine list, Porcellino could easily become a sought-after destination for fans of Italian food, but the kitchen would need to put out more convincing flavors. Mains are €18-25.

Giro fever hits budapest – buda castle museum honours the italian tour with a cycling exhibition.

sponsored WLB

This month, Budapest hosted the start of the 105th Giro d’Italia. The Buda Castle Museum pays tribute to the Italian tour and the historic tradition of Hungarian cycling with the temporary exhibition, 'Budapest köszönti a Girót! – Budapest saluta il Giro!'. This large-scale display awaits not only lovers of the sport, but can also be exciting for those unfamiliar with the international race. Thrilling interactive elements also await, such as stepping inside the body of a competitive racer and trying out an old cycling training facility.

At the latest exhibition at the Buda Castle Museum , you can get to know the history of the Giro d’Italia and learn about the many exciting stories concerning the tradition of cycling in Hungary . In addition to archive photos, artefacts related to the competition – original cycling jerseys , racing bikes and motorcycles, prizes and special memorabilia – bring to life the biggest characters in the competition that dates back more than 100 years .

italian tour budapest

Among these personalities are significant individuals such as the three-time Giro winner Gino Bartali , born in 1914, who hid documents in the saddle of his bike to smuggle Jews from Assisi to Florence during World War II . Legends and stories related to competitions, such as Alfonsina Strada , who still started as the only woman at the 1924 Giro d’Italia , are also in focus.

italian tour budapest

The Giro exhibition is a fine experience , but it is also accompanied by exciting events such as a guided tour by former cyclist Péter Tarapcsák on the Night of Museums on 25 June, and an analogue photographic performance by light cyclist Károly Szert Minyó . There will also be a roundtable discussion with Mindset sports psychology specialist Kristóf Kovács, sports dietician Gergő Gönczy, former cyclist Péter Tarapcsák, historian and chief museologist Loránd Balla, and Roland Perényi , director of the Kiscelli Museum , historian and chief museologist, all sharing their experience.

M ore information about the exhibition and the various events that accompany it can be found on the Buda Castle Museum website .

Here's what our guests have to say about this trip:

"Giro 2019 Week 3 was a fabulous experience. Nothing compares to riding the Giro route the same day as the professionals. The crowds, the excitement, fantastic food, amazing destinations and the superb planning of the Grand Tours team make this an experience not to be missed for any cyclist looking for an adventure. Everything about the Giro, Italy and the Italians was amazing, but it was the meticulous attention to detail, hard work, passion and dedication of Uri leading the cyclists, with a superb crew of Joel and Fabio in the support vehicles that really brought this experience to the next level. I had to leave early, but upon departure immediately started planning for Giro 2020. Thanks Uri and the team for an incredible adventure! If you are looking for an amazing cycling experience, look no further!"

Michael - guest on our Giro d'Italia 2019, Final week tour

"What an experience!! Spending a week in Italy amongst the excitement of the spectacle that is the Giro – each day offering up something truly memorable in terms of terrain, difficulty (hail to the mighty Zoncolan!) and what many of us love so much about Italy, the food and wine. The Dolomites were a true highlight of the week. The team at GTP was brilliant and really enabled our small group to make the most of the experience; from getting close up access to the race to making tweaks to the itinerary to get the best out of the day. Cudos to the ridereverykm group – incredible effort. Huge thanks to Kerry, (our guide extraordinaire), Keith and the entire team at GTP for making it such an unforgettable experience."

Jon - guest on our Giro d'Italia 2018, "Experience" Week 2 tour (Assisi to the Dolomites)

"The week I spent riding across Italy with the Grand Tours Project team was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had. The scenery was incredible, the riding was exceptional, and the company was second to none. Every detail of our trip was meticulously planned. We had the pleasure of residing in historic castles, enjoying incredible local cuisine, visiting local coffee stops in small villages, and immersing ourselves in the full Giro experience as we were up close and personal to the athletes each day. The riding was challenging, beautiful, and well supported. Keith and his team ensured all of our needs were met and that no stone was left unturned. Friendships were built that will last a life time, I laughed until I cried, and this is an experience that has surpassed all others. A big THANK YOU to Grand Tours Project for making this a journey that we’ll never forget!”

Ashley, Giro d'Italia 2018: Week 2 "Experience" Tour (Assisi to the Dolomites)

"Cycling in Israel for the start of the 2018 Giro d’Italia was an amazing experience! GTP did a fantastic job arranging rental bikes, planning rides, and getting access to the race. It was a truly incredible to ride the TT course on closed roads in Jerusalem! The guides were wonderful and I would love the opportunity to ride with Grand Tours Project in the future. It was a fantastic way to experience both the excitement of the Giro and history and culture of Israel. I’m sure there will be another Grand Tours Project trip in my future!”

Wendy , Giro d'Italia 2018: GrandePartenza "Experience" Tour (Israel)

"The wonderful group that gathered in Jerusalem for this event, It is a memory that I will always cherish. The team were so accommodating and friendly. A casual but warm atmosphere prevailed with a professional relaxed but organized team. I highly recommend Grand Tours and really enjoyed meeting such a great group of diverse cyclists and characters at the same time. I hope to one day again be part of a Grand Tours group. The photos you sent bring back a constant reminder of these warm memories.

I had a great time on this tour. The five days experience was real good, you get to know a lot of different cities, historical places and local people, whom are very friendly. Also, Paul, our tour guide, was excellent, he always picked us up on time, was very kind to us and explained everything with lots of detail. Really helped to enhance the experience a lot. I recommend taking this tour.

One or two miss-timed rendezvous and some minor changes to schedule, otherwise good. Covered a lot of ground, tiring for some. Would be better with more personal time built in. Rene was an excellent tour guide.
Wonderful trip with an excellent tour leader Petra and great coach driver Joe. We had so many tours and wonderful dinners with our. We seen so many great sites and have lifetime memories.
