Upon his return to Jerusalem, his career began in a 5-star hotel, followed by a position as a tour operator in a local travel agency. They didn't have yet a precise idea on how the logo should look and trusted us on creating original ideas. I decided to go for visualising the company name - Surf Around, in such a way that the waves would create a Wi-Fi symbol. I decided that the logo should be circle-shaped in order to create the friendliness that the CH asked for. Negative Spacing helped to make the logo clean and simple.

They say that the theatre begins with a hanger, and our museum began with the famous 21 Volga (GAZ-21 Volga), manufactured in 1964. Knowing the jubilee’s ardent passion for motor vehicles in all their manifestations, it was presented to the museum’s founder Boris Vanin on his jubilee.
And at that very moment, when he turned the key in the ignition of the gifted car, his heart was pierced with a desire – to create a museum of Soviet auto industry.
Yes, I’ve been talked out of it. Yes, they gave a thousand and one arguments against it. And still there are those who are skeptical about all this.
But… Who else, if not us.
At first, vintage cars were exhibited in one hall, and mostly friends and acquaintances came to see them. But time passed, the museum grew with exhibits and assistants – enthusiasts of Soviet technology like its founder. An outdoor exhibition appeared, a second hall opened, and tours began to be conducted.
And now charismatic cars and brutal motorbikes are waiting to meet you on the museum grounds. And an exciting collection of vintage items will secretly tell you about the original Soviet gadgets.
Currently, the museum offers:
– tours for organized groups of up to 20 people;
– exclusive individual tours for private visitors (groups of no more than 5 people).
Self-guided visits are possible. Advance booking is required.
It is possible to organise transfer for organized groups on comfortable buses of the museum’s partner company.
The museum collection consists of over 100 units of Soviet technology (cars, trucks, special and motorcycle equipment) and over 100 household items from the Soviet era.

Paul Azinger daggers the PGA Tour in battle vs. LIV, says it's a 'sad day for golf'
Paul Azinger is no longer paid to give his opinions on the PGA Tour, but that didn't stop the former broadcaster and major winner from offering a pretty gloomy take on the current state of professional golf.
Azinger addressed a number of topics in an interview with Golfweek's Adam Schupak over the weekend. And he did not hold back, particularly when discussing the ongoing battle between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf.

“The best players aren’t all playing PGA Tour tournaments. That’s over," Azinger said. "Suddenly, the LIV Tour, let’s just say it like this: the PGA Tour has fast become the qualifier for LIV and it’s a sad day for golf."
Azinger certainly isn't alone in expressing dismay over the fractured state of pro golf. And certainly, the PGA Tour has lost some ground—and several star players—to LIV. But "fast becoming a qualifier for LIV" is a particularly damning take.
"Yeah, I’ve watched a little bit [of the PGA Tour broadcasts in 2024] and I’m not missing it that much," Azinger said. "I’m not missing it at all."
Azinger also broke his silence about NBC moving on from him with its golf coverage at the end of last year, saying the network had "no plan going forward except to make the broadcast less expensive." NBC has used a few people in the booth this year, including Paul McGinley and Kevin Kisner , but still hasn't found a full-time replacement to sit next to play-by-play man Dan Hicks.
Azinger says Charles Barkley, who has been involved in Capital One's The Match, should be hired, but that "It's a shame" NBC would never pay enough for that to happen. As for Azinger, the 64-year-old says not looking for a job, but wouldn't rule out working for LIV if Greg Norman came calling.
However, he said he's done calling PGA Tour events. At least, under the current leadership of commissioner Jay Monahan.
“I’d rather call the Senior Tour than the PGA Tour to tell you the truth," Azinger told Schupak before delieving another dagger to the tour he won on 12 times during his playing career. "I’m over the PGA Tour. To call the best senior players in the world, at least they’re the best."

Taylor Swift is making Singapore a mountain of money, and some of the country's neighbors are salty about it
- Singapore is the only Southeast Asia stop of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour.
- The concerts are part of a push to boost tourism in Singapore after the height of the pandemic.
- But some Southeast Asian countries aren't happy about how it's all playing out.
Taylor Swift isn't just another celebrity on a world tour — she's literally boosting economies .
Her impact is so huge that Singapore shelled out nearly $3 million per show to sign an exclusive deal with her for the Southeast Asian leg of her Eras Tour, Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin said at a business forum last month.
Singapore authorities said its tourism board disbursed a grant to support Swift's event but declined to comment on specifics of the deal to Business Insider, citing business confidentiality. Edwin Tong, Singapore's culture minister, told the local outlet Mothership on Wednesday that the amount of grant given "is not what is being speculated online."
"It is likely to generate significant benefits to the Singapore economy, especially to tourism activities such as hospitality, retail, travel, and dining, as has happened in other cities in which Taylor Swift has performed," Singapore's culture ministry and tourism board said in a joint statement.
Swift is scheduled to perform six shows in Singapore from March 2 to March 9. More than 300,000 tickets have been sold.
But it's not just about the money.
Cultural clout
Mega-concerts such as Swift's help build Singapore's status as a fun place to visit rather than just a place to do business and hold trade events, tourism experts say.
After all, strait-laced Singapore isn't known for being the most exciting tourist destination.
"Live music from some of the biggest names in the industry marks a slight shift in Singapore's attractiveness as a tourism destination," Yun Liu, an HSBC economist, wrote in a February note.
Tong, the Singapore culture minister, told Mothership the city-state was looking "beyond just the economic impact" of those concerts.
"We look at it from the perspective of building Singapore into a cultural hub that's of strong strategic value for us," Tong told the outlet.
"Such concerts help put us on the top of the minds of tourists and position us as a luxe destination that justifies the premium," Kevin Cheong, the managing partner of Syntegrate, a consultancy for destination and tourism development, told BI.
Tourist spend
Everywhere Swift's tour goes, a boost in tourism-related spending follows, known as "Swiftonomics." That ranges from air tickets and accommodation to food and beverage, as well as niche retail sectors such as the sale of friendship bracelets .
Singapore is no exception.
Economists estimate that Swift's concerts in Singapore could contribute up to 500 million Singapore dollars , or $372 million, in tourist receipts.
David Mann, the Asia Pacific chief economist of Mastercard, told BI that since Singapore is one of the most expensive cities in the world and has a strong currency, it was unlikely tourists from places with weaker currencies would be splurging on retail therapy in the country.
It's a different story for spending on experiences — and it's heightened because Singapore is Swift's only stop in Southeast Asia.
Mann said the people who had money to pay for flight tickets, Swift's concert tickets, and a hotel were likely to keep spending at other tourist spots.
Since the Singapore government collects a 9% tax on all goods and services, tourist spending goes to the national coffers, too.
"It goes to the entire ecosystem," Cheong said.
The Nomura economist Si Ying Toh wrote in a February note that Swift and the British band Coldplay — the first two major acts of 2024 in Singapore — were likely to contribute 0.25 percentage points to the country's first-quarter GDP.
Taylor Swift 'pays the bills' in the short term
Cheong said getting exclusive access to Swift was a smart short-term move by the Singapore government: "You need business right now to help pay the bills and put us on the world map."
The wealthy city-state's neighbors are taking notice, and not all of them are happy about it .
Singapore's move to award a grant for Swift's appearances in the city-state is done "at the expense of neighboring countries, which could not attract their own foreign concertgoers and whose fans had to go to Singapore," Joey Salceda, a Filipino lawmaker, told the Philippine Star on Thursday.
Srettha, the Thai prime minister, also threw Singapore some shade and suggested his country could have splashed some money to attract Swift's performance, too.
"If I had known this, I would have brought the shows to Thailand," Srettha was quoted as saying in the Bangkok Post , referring to Singapore's grant for Swift's concert.
The FOMO appears to extend to Indonesia, with the tourism minister, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, telling Bloomberg TV last month that the country needed Swiftonomics for tourism and was considering more incentives for large events such as concerts.
Still, Cheong said massive performance grants couldn't be Singapore's long-term solution to boost tourism.
"It's a wise move, but is it sustainable?" Cheong asked, saying he thought Singapore was courting mega-concerts as a short-term boost before big investments — such as an eco-resort and a new tower for the iconic Marina Bay Sands hotel — were completed.
Cheong said the longer-term, more sustainable measure was to make Singapore so enticing that tourists and artists would come for their big-ticket events even without grants.
"It has to be as attractive as Las Vegas, where performers will definitely make a stop," he added.
Swift's PR team didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from BI.

Disney+ today dropped the trailer for Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) , the streaming version of the concert film that includes some bonus material that wasn’t in the theatrical release.
While the it was known that the expanded version – which debuts March 14 at 6 p.m./PT, a day earlier than initially planned – would include the song “Cardigan” and four acoustic songs, the new trailer offers yet another piece of the surprise puzzle: At the end of the trailer, Swift sits down at hear piano, says “This is one of my favorites,” and begins playing “ Maroon .”

Pro-Palestinian protesters disrupt Jill Biden's 'Women for Biden-Harris' tour
TUCSON, Ariz. — First lady Jill Biden spoke for only 14 minutes on the second leg of her “Women for Biden-Harris” tour — but that didn't stop pro-Palestinian protesters from interrupting her remarks four separate times.
“It’s a genocide, Jill!” yelled one of the four demonstrators in Tucson on Saturday morning as he was being forcibly escorted out of the venue by security.
The main focus of the first lady’s remarks was supposed to be on women’s issues, including abortion rights, which could be on the ballot in Arizona come November.
“Extremist Republicans led by Donald Trump are passing laws that prevent women from getting the health care they need, including IVF,” said Biden.
But within 13 seconds of beginning her remarks, the first protester piped up.
Less than two minutes later, the second followed. And within 30 seconds of the second disruption, the first lady offered an explanation for keeping her appearance there so short.
“I'm sorry to have to come and go so quickly,” said Biden.
“Wind storms in Nevada are impacting my travel,” she added just after the demonstrator was hauled out of the theater.
And just as she was beginning to gather steam in her speech, the third protester shouted out.
Kaliana Venet, 34, is an activist with the Arizona Palestine Solidarity Alliance, one of the organizations behind the Biden disruptions in Tucson. She wasn’t impressed by the first lady’s remarks concerning women.
“When you’re talking about women’s issues, when you’re talking about women in office, and women in Gaza are having C-sections without anesthesia, watching their children pulled out of the rubble, starving to death … it’s absolutely shameful,” said Venet.
The first lady’s plan to hold the second leg of her tour in Tucson may have been bold from the start. Home to the University of Arizona, the college town is home to lots of young voters like Venet. And polling shows young voters are particularly discontented with the way her husband, President Joe Biden, has handled the war.
“She should have seen it coming,” said Venet.
The unemployed activist voted for Biden in 2020, a decision she now says she’s “very ashamed of.”
The president has been dogged by pro-Palestinian protesters at his public events for months, with his team now taking steps to shield him from the public shaming over his handling of the Israel-Hamas war . Biden has had to switch to smaller events, the locations of which are kept hushed until the last possible moment to evade protesters.
The White House has announced the upcoming states where the first lady's Women for Biden-Harris tour will be going, but it hasn't yet publicly disclosed specific locations.
