I bought my second Briggs&Riley bag there today and can highly recommend their great customer service. They have a good variety of Briggs&Riley bags to look at and the owner is very helpful by picking the right one. He also helped me with a repair request which was really great as I’m from Germany and needed something fixed at my first bag.

Was in search for a new carry on and was able to find one of the few stores that carry Briggs and Riley. I purchased a baseline bag from them which I've been eyeing for a while and they had the size and color I was looking for. They also helped steer me away from the wrong bag so that I made the right decision by showing the strength and weaknesses of each bag. They even engraved my bag for me which there was many options to choose from. They have amazing specials and make you feel at home when shopping for a bag. I would definitely recommend Rooten's anytime.

We were looking for 2 very specific pieces of Eagle Creek luggage and reached out to Rooten’s. Steve was so nice and helpful. He set them aside for us until we were able to drive there. He also honored the price listed on their website even though they were selling for higher on other sites! They have a good selection of high quality, top brands at very reasonable prices!

Bought a bike from here for such a steal and Ryan was super helpful and went above and beyond to help me take the wheels off and get it in my car. I will definitely be back. Great selection of travel gear!

I called to check on the inventory of a bag and Steve apologized that it doesn't exist anymore but he has just been swamped with running his business and haven't be able to update his website. He offered the same bag but different color and gave me a great deal on it. I told him I'll come by the next day. When I arrived the next day the bag was already sitting behind the checkout counter ready to go! I'm so stoked - got my dream bag at an amazing price. I had no idea this store exist and they have a great variety of luggage and other travel accessories like packing cubes. I've already recommended this place to friends.

My family bought too many Disney souvenirs, so off on a luggage hunt we went. I told my sister the same I tell you now - buy the Briggs & Riley! The lifetime warranty is amazing! So, we found Rootens and a few others, but this place seemed like a good first shot. The selection and variety are top notch of many brands. I found a wristlet (Tumi or Baggelini - can't remember) and bought it as I was looking for the perfect one. Well, I found one at Disney I liked better - go figure. After a few months of the wristlet from Rootens sat in my Tucson home, I called to ask about a refund. They had me mail it to them and refunded my card without any hassle at all. Now THAT'S good service! I think I'll be heading back on our next trip to the coast... cause mama's gonna need another new bag!

I have come to this store whenever I have needed luggage. The service is incredible. Once, when I was in Buenos Aires, a zipper on my Briggs and Riley suitcase broke. When I took it back to Rooten’s, they sent it to the manufacturer with no questions asked. The bag was returned in even better shape and I have continued to use it for ten years. The customer service is of the highest quality.

The customer service was fantastic. My wife and I purchased new suit cases for our trip. After we used them we realized that we did not like the cases. Rooten's allowed us to exchange them for a different style. They were helpful and friendly. They have earned our loyalty for any travel purchases. I recommend them whole heartedly.

Rooten's Luggage Center has been in my family for many years. Family-owned is always the best as they always go beyond with customer service, which they do! Your needs are always met and if something is not available, they will try to find it for you. The travel seminars with Angel are the best! Attendees at the seminars attend once and always come back! Rooten's Luggage Center is outstanding in EVERY way. Customer service is the best. I have 'tested' the waters in mall luggage stores and there is no comparison! Rooten's is the one for all your travel needs and questions!

Needed my defective Rimowa Salsa fixed/replaced. Done on the spot, no questions asked. Courteous, efficient etc. Struck me as a family business. (Refreshing in this day and age). Not the usual corporate runaround. Judging by snippets of conversation with customers, lots of repeat business too. Also noted wide range of travel paraphernalia at very competitive prices. Highly recommended indeed.

Should be your first stop if you're looking into new luggage. After a week of searching online and debating about a good tech-business carry on solution, I decided to stop by and see what they had. The customer service there is amazing, showed me options and gave suggestions. Walked away very happy and will be going back for future travel needs.

Kind, fast service! Understood our needs and offered us a fit at a value price. They also had a great selection of high end items there, but that's not what we were shopping for today.

I called and they were closing in 20 minutes, which is about how far away I was. They instantly without hesitation told me they'd stay open for me if I wanted to come down, which I did. Amazing service. Arrived in OC with a broken lock on my Rimowa case and searched for local repairs, with this place coming out top... I can see why, dropped by with my case and within 5 minutes I was leaving with a replacement lock installed, free of charge... Thanks a lot guys!!!

Excellent store for multiple brands of luggage. You can try any bag with demo packing items. They also have travel seminars and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.

1. Do you do luggage repairs?

We do minor luggage repairs such as putting zipper pulls on. However, we need to see the bag in order to know if this can be done. We facilitate most repairs by sending them back to the manufacturer for repair, or to a local repair center. (There may be shipping & handling costs associated and/or repair costs depending if the luggage is under warranty.)

2. Is my suitcase under warranty?

Many manufacturers have some sort of warranty on their suitcases. Briggs & Riley, as well as Eagle Creek, typically have the best warranty. If you have a warranty question, please read the tag on the item for warranty information, or feel free to contact us. We'll try to help you with whatever warranty service needs you have. Feel free to bring your item into the store as well and we can help you navigate the warranty/repair process.

4. Do you have adapters and converters for...?

We carry  many (if not all) adapter plugs for the various countries throughout the world. Feel free to contact us in order to confirm we have what you need in stock. Many manufacturers will use different letter systems - i.e. not all "C" adapters will look alike. Because of this, it's best for us to know which country you're traveling to in order for us to best help you. You can view adapters and electronics here.

5. Do I need a converter?

Most modern electronics (think smartphones and computers) cover the range and do not need converters, but only adapters. Items with a heating element (think blow dryers and curling irons) may need a converter if they do not cover the range. You can check on your device or double check with the manufacturer if you are not sure. Feel free to bring your device into the store and we can try to help you out further. We sell dual-voltage travel hair dryers and flat irons as well. 

5. Your store looks different. Did you move?

Periodically we rearrange the store, re-merchandise, and overall move things around. Some years ago, we also completed a remodel of the store which has changed the layout. We are still in the same location in Irvine, CA. Feel free to stop by the store and say hello! View location & hours.

6. Is this carry-on?

Each airline has their own size limits for carry on luggage. Typically, the airlines allow one bag to go in the overhead compartment and one personal item to go underneath the seat. The typical domestic size limits are 22" x 14" x 9". The  typical international size limit will be a little bit shorter and a little bit wider. We encourage customers to check their airline size restrictions before traveling.
