Globe Holidays Ltd operates a wide range of coach holidays and day trips departing from areas including; Barnsley, Rotherham, Harrogate, Bradford and Wetherby. Globe Holidays has been part of the South Yorkshire coaching scene for over 65 years, expending in 2015 into the North Yorkshire area & Wetherby, expanding our business and offering a great variety of tour packages, improved itineraries, no hidden extras and most importantly value for money to suit every budget. 2018 saw the opening of our second Travel Centre in Bradford city centre. We opened our third Travel Centre in the heart of Rotherham in 2020.

HOLIDAYS -  Our expertise brings you an extensive, individual coach holiday programme throughout the UK and Europe.

Our tours stay in excellent hotels, offering a high standard of service and cuisine. Our coach touring fleet offers all seatbelted vehicles, air conditioning, refreshment area and tolilet, including our Diamond Traveller coaches.

We offer tours from 2 day short breaks to longer holidays touring the highlands and islands of Scotland.  We pride ourselves on a unique and wide variety of holidays for all budgets. Whether you are travelling with us again, or maybe trying us for the first time you will be sure to find a fantastic selection of breaks to choose from. Our 2024 brochure features many new and exciting destinations, from action packed breaks to more relaxing sea-side get aways, we are sure you will find something to suit your requirements.

Door to Door - On a selection of our tours your holiday really can start from home. We will collect you from your door and return you home at the end of your holiday. This service is subject to postcode/area & holiday duration. Supplements may apply.

DAY EXCURSIONS -  These are a speciality of ours and we operate a diverse programme including shoppers, scenic specials, coastal favourites, trains, boats, lunches, castles, gardens and festive specials to name but a few. We produce seasonal editions of our Day Trips leaflet throughout the year, so make sure you are on our mailing list to receive our latest releases all year round! We produce 4 brochures for our departure areas - Barnsley, Rotherham, Bradford and Harrogate.

We are a family-run travel company providing coach hire and holiday packages for individuals, businesses, schools, corporations and organisations in Leeds, Barnsley, Sheffield and the rest of South and West Yorkshire.

Our excursions are not limited to this area however, and we travel all over the UK and Europe with our customers.

Yorkshire Rose Coaches is proud to offer door-to-door pick-ups on holidays of 3 days or more, making travel even easier for you.

The key to our business is flexibility. We want to cater for your transport needs, however large or small. Yorkshire Rose Coaches can simply carry you to and from an event or organise an entire travel plan with coach hire, hotel accommodation, event tickets and more. We are happy to transport small groups or organise multiple coaches for large numbers.

Our executive coaches are all maintained to strict EEC (Economic European Community) legislation and guidelines to ensure the safety of our passengers at all times.

Lovely holiday

Just back from a T&T break at Exmouth. The hotel and food were brilliant, and the driver James was the best. However we had a bad start after waiting nearly one and a half hours in cold and rain at Ilkeston for the coach. I know there was traffic problems, but there have been a way of either delaying the taxi or we could have gone to the local cafe.

Brilliant holiday to Torquay, tinsel & turkey 20 th November to Belgrave Sands hotel. The hotel was great, the trips to Brixham not so good. The only downside was our driver, who really wasn’t interested in his passengers comfort at all. This was our first experience of coach travel, so went with some friends & an open mind. The temperature on the coach was often 26* & the Xmas music so loud it was impossible to hold any conversation with your partner. When asked to turn both down at our first stop, the answer was “I’ll turn it off then”. Many people were unhappy with the driver. He was the only reason I didn’t give it 5*, but it’s made me reluctant to book with KM again if he is a sample of their drivers.

We are an 87 yrs old couple who booked a trip to Isle of Man 5/4/23- 9/4/23 with KM travel. It was raining when the driver dropped us off at our destination - The Rutland Hotel in Douglas. Before even entering the hotel, my wife had a severe fall (backwards) on the hotel steps, witnessed by other travellers including our driver of the coach. Her fall resulted in a 7 day hospital admission sustaining significant injuries, 9 broken ribs and fractured pelvis. On arrival back in Chesterfield bus station the KM Travel representative was there to greet us therefore was fully aware that my wife was still injured as she was not mobile enough to access the taxi’s and a car had to be specifically arranged the bus station to take us back home. We have been home from the trip now for 1 month and to date there has been no contact from KM Travel at all. The least I would have have expected would have been a courtesy telephone call to check on our progress. I telephoned KM Travel but the response I received from Sam (female) was shocking. She showed absolutely no compassion, and her rude comment was ‘we can’t check on everybody who has accidents’. She said ‘you would be surprised how many accidents there are’ . She also stated that she doesn’t care (later denied saying this when challenged) , On reflection I feel the customer service aftercare from KM Travel was extremely poor and would not recommend using them under any circumstances.

Travelled to Weymouth with Eric dreadful man if he treated my mother like that I would punch him in the face was vile to everyone especially the really older ones been with km before and never had a problem would definitely recommend them but not Eric 😡

First class service from booking to returning home, picked up from home for a small charge by minibus and taken to depot for the main coach all suitcases transferred by staff, verry good clean coach Tony our driver courier was a credit to the company.

About Us Welcome to the “Day out by Coach” website. All of our coaches are operated in partnership with Globe Holidays Limited, a familiar name within the Barnsley and surrounding areas for many years now. By establishing a standalone website our aim is to welcome new customers who would not ordinarily receive our literature though the local print media and those of you who may not have visited our shop on Eldon Street in Barnsley; in addition to this our existing customers will be able to now browse our full list of day trips at your convenience. Many of our customers over the past twelve months have been delighted with our “value for money” day trips, with an ever expanding day trip programme which included convenient local pick-up points we pride ourselves in offering the most comprehensive package of trips within the area. We use our best endeavours to ensure that all advertised trips run and always put our passengers first.   All trips are operated on one of our Globe vehicles, ranging from the latest additions to the fleet. We range from our 38/44 seater VIP Diamond Traveller coaches and 49 / 53 seat excursion, a Royal Class 53 seat executive coach with a rear floor mounted WC and now we also have 2 57 Seater coaches. each trip is individual, you will always be welcomed aboard.
