Alan organised our family Japan trip - 7 people to 8 different destinations over 3 weeks. He was amazing, with everything done to the finest detail, including maps, directions, train timetables, hotel bookings and so on. Alan prepared our itinerary for our much anticipated trip to Japan in March 2020. His attention to detail was second to none. Each day was clearly mapped out - train times, platforms, recommendations of places of interest, restaurants. Our accommodation was all booked and organised (we even had gelato delivered by Alan to our hotel in Osaka!). He ensured that we visited many beautiful places and got to experience the Japanese culture firsthand. While enjoying our trip, Australia was placed into lockdown due to Covid19 and we learnt that JAL had cancelled their Tokyo to Melbourne route. The only part of our trip that we did not book with Alan was our flights. We booked these through an online agent. We were unable to contact them or JAL to get some clarity on how we were to return to Australia. Alan stepped up to the plate and assisted us to navigate through this difficult time.
