We had an amazing tour and our guide Dylan Arthur was so patient and took extra time with all the families/groups to individually take family pics and highlight unique parts. Not only did he take them, he used panorama and color settings to maximize our quality of memories. I would recommend it 100% of the time to visit when traveling out west!

Malcolm was an amazing tour guide; great sense of humor! The canyon itself was beautiful, lots of amazing sights and photo ops!

Ben was the best tour guide! He was so thorough in explaining cultural, geologic, and fun facts about the formations. I'd recommend anyone to come here to get an awesome tour and the best pics by Ben :)

My partner and I visited on a Sunday afternoon in April. Our tour was at 2:30pm but after checking in at 2pm, we were allowed to join the 2pm group because they had space. Nothing is allowed in the slot canyon except for your camera and a water bottle (no bags of any kind). We walked about 5 minutes from the main waiting area to the entrance of the canyon. Use the restroom beforehand because there isn't one available until after the tour, which lasted just over an hour for us (can vary depending on how many people are touring and how quickly they move through it). The start of the tour was a step descent down several flights of stairs into the canyon. I didn't expect it to be so steep and my fear of heights made me super grateful for the handrails. The views were breathtaking and the temperature dropped considerably down there, making for a pleasant walk through. Our guide was really nice and offered to take photos at various points. It was a very smooth process from booking online to checking in to touring. Highly recommend for anyone wishing to see Antelope Canyon.

Nature is amazing! We checked this off our bucket list and it was totally worth doing. Pick your day, time, arrive at least 30 minutes early. I got freaked out because we drove in from Phoenix and the last hour the time changed on all of our phones, watches, car! I thought we lost an hour...but even though your time changes, Ken's Tours is still on AZ time. Whew. If you do arrive early, you might be able to join an earlier tour. Just bring your phone camera, point and shoot camera, and a water bottle. You can't bring anything else. Not even a water bottle holder to hang on your shoulder. The hike is short and when you get into the canyon it is a bit cooler. Your guide will manage 15 of you in a group. You'll take so many photos and the guide offers to take several photos of you (ensuring no one is in the shot). It's fantastic! It'll take an hour. You exit through the gift shop. ;) make sure you bring money to tip your guide. Dylan was great!

Lots of stairs. Easy, take your time. However, if you can't do stairs regularly, you will not do well on the lower tour.

This was the best tour! We had plenty of time to walk through this fabulous slot canyon. The guide was amazing and was really helpful. I recommend this tour strongly. It is beautiful and we went at 8 a.m. the guide would take our photos in the canyon using Pano on our phones. He also helped with how to take the best photos in the canyon with our camera settings. You will seem in my photos that is unique and really interesting. There is no use of flash or video on the canyons but with these settings on our phones, we got some great photos. See below. I highly recommend this company [with my guide] it was the best part of our trip. These photos were taken with my iPhone 11. I used my Canon digital SLR for most of my photos.

A must see here in Page, Arizona. I ended up picking the deluxe tour because all the regular tours were fully booked a month ahead of the December Holidays. It's double the price, about $130 per person but honestly I felt like it was worth. You go in much smaller groups, 6 people versus 30+ and your guide helps you take all the best pictures at the spots. It's a lot less cramped with the deluxe and you get some complimentary stuff like water, faster check in, and front parking. Our tour guide Ben was absolutely amazing with being hilarious and entertaining, yet still being professional. He showed us all the cool tricks to do with on your phone on both android and iPhone to get all the best shots. After going through the canyons we were taken to the front which briefly shown a bit about the Navajo culture which was pretty cool. Also was given lunch which was a Navajo Taco and some tea which were both amazing. Would totally recommend this tour if you plan to check out the lower antelope canyons. Would I get regular or deluxe? Honestly depends if you like a lot of pictures or not. Both are good but if you like the freedom of having smaller groups and a more focused tour guide, deluxe package is the way to go but otherwise the regular tour for $60 or so will suffice just as well. Thanks Ben for being an awesome tour guide!

10 stars!! Wow, what an amazing tour. Justin was fantastic. He gave us the history and took pictures. He was every engaging, pushed us along to meet our tour time limit. (you only have an hour in the canyon due to other tour companies). Picture don't due it justice, you just have to come and take a tour with Justin. He's one of the best tour guides I've had!

This was my second visit to Lower Antelope Slot Canyon. First time around, I went with Dixie's Tours and had a wonderful experience. Now fast forward 7 years later and I'm trying Ken's Tours. Both Dixie and Ken's are located beside each other 5 miles outside of downtown Page, Arizona. And they're pretty much the most well known tour companies for exploring Lower Antelope Slot Canyon. Tours start every hour and last 1 hour, throughout the day. They're quick and efficient, getting you in and out of the canyon with plenty of photo opportunities. Cost is $55 but with fees and taxes the total = $73. I took a 2pm tour for the middle of September. They ask you to check-in 30 minutes ahead of time. And 10 minutes prior to tours beginning, there's a "Please Wait Here" sign which you're supposed to stand next to. I noticed they had a useful sign posted explaining "Canyon Similarities" between this Lower Antelope Canyon, the Upper Antelope Canyon and Canyon X. The Upper Antelope Canyon Tour is worthwhile for catching those famous beams of light from 10am - 1pm. That's the biggest difference I discovered. Everyone yearns to catch those iconic beams from the sun peaking through the canyon walls. But I believe, the Lower Canyon could be more photogenic. And, I've never heard of Canyon X. Instead of going into details about the similarities and differences between all three canyons, I'll just post a closeup photo of the sign. Ken's Tours has a lodge where inside they have a cafe selling coffee, pastries with couches, tables and small souvenir gift shop. Basically, they have the little extras trying to tempt tourists into purchasing as much as possible. Once my tour was called, at first it appeared like there were a lot of people joining me but they smartly separated everyone into groups of 12 people with our own guides. I had Justin who was fantastic. He really went out of his way to take photos whenever there was a memorable picture moment. He explained how to adjust our phones for the coolest effects and most efficient lightings. Justin also pointed out unique geological features. He talked about his heritage and told a few stories about growing up on Navajo Tribal Lands. I happily tipped him $10 at the end. In my opinion, Justin went above and beyond expectations. It was a short 1/3rd of a mile walk to the Lower Canyon entrance. Then there was a 10 minute wait for each tour group to cautiously make their way down a steep ladder decline. Justin specifically stated "no picture taking" until safely down at the canyon floor. Disappointingly, there was no video recording allowed. Supposedly it was "copyright infringement", yet a few folks on my tour didn't listen and Justin warned them about ending their time prematurely. Thinking back with my Dixie Tours visit, I don't think there was anything mentioned about recording being prohibited. Another difference between then and now is how controlled the tour group crowds are today. Back years ago, they stuffed visitors inside the canyon to the max. It was overwhelming from what I recall. This time around had much better spacing. It wasn't nearly as crowded and at times it felt like my group had the canyon to ourselves. Picture taking was noticeably better without being disturbed by others. Overall, Lower Antelope Slot Canyon was so beautiful and awe inspiring, just how I remembered. The shapes and waves of the canyons walls are unlike anything comparable. They're colorful, playful and allow your imagination to run wild. The one hour passed by pretty quickly and before realizing it, my group was climbing a ladder to exit. Lastly, I'm happy I returned. It conjured up fond memories. These slot canyons are a natural wonder and an amazing highlight when passing through Page, AZ.

Ken's Tours Lower Antelope Canyon

Ken's tours lower antelope canyon information.

Ken’s Tours offer tours designed to give a personal experience inside of Lower Antelope. One of our guides will guide you, share our history and stories. Over the years, Lower Antelope Canyon has become a favorite gathering place for photographers, tourists, and visitors from around the world.

The views in Lower Antelope Canyon change constantly as the sun moves across the sky, filtering lights softly across the stone walls. These ever-moving sun angles bounce light back and forth across the narrow canyon’s walls, creating a dazzling display of color, light, and shadow.

The Navajo name for Lower Antelope Canyon is Hasdeztwazi or “Spiral Rock Arches.” Many years ago, herds of Pronghorn Antelope roamed freely in and around the canyon, which explains the English name. This incredible canyon has been created over millions of years by the relentless forces of water and wind, slowly carving and sculpting the sandstone into forms, textures, and shapes which we observe today.

Ken’s Tours include general tours, photo tours and deluxe tours.

I visited the canyon for the second time with these folks, just as good if not better. My in-laws and wife were just as surprised as I was in 2014 (My first visit) at how beautiful the canyon was and how wonderful the service is. Would recommend, and props to our Tour Guide Rosie, you rock!

The tour through the Antelope Canyon is something you will never forget, pictures don't do it justice, as it is hard to catch the raw beauty before you. Our tour guide Rick was great, informative and help with capturing the best pictures possible.

We had a wonderful tour with Rosie. We took a morning tour in hopes of avoiding the crowds. It worked out perfectly. Rosie was informative and warm. She helped us get best photos, gave us interesting facts about the Navajo and the canyon, and we were not rushed through.

I went with a couple of friends from college, tour guide was nice, she explained many photographic opportunities, she was very knowledgable, weather was nice, we all loved the experience.

Our guide made our trip so interesting and fun. He was very knowledgeable and an excellent photographer. He showed us the best spots for pictures and advised us on the best camera settings. This trip is a "must" for every traveler lucky enough to see this part of the country. I highly recommend Antelope Canyon Tours!

Our tour was amazing. I highly recommend this tour if you are in Page. The colors of the Sandstone is truly unforgettable. The guides are very knowledgeable and Sonny was very helpful in making sure we had taken the best photo possible. Definitely a must-see!
