Whereabouts on manage my booking should any OBC show?
Finally managed to get the drinks to show but the OBC is nowhere to be seen!

I stand to be corrected, but I don't think it does. It should be on your booking confirmation invoice though. In the middle of the sheet, the 'charges' section should show $200 ONBRDCR, but across the line it should all be 0's as you have not been charged for it. Clear as mud?
It does not show on your online account.
Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app
Call X and have them reprint your new booking.
Agree -- it is on the Booking Confirmation - Guest Copy
I am looking at one right now, and there it is, under the third section that is titled
"Booking Charges - Currency: USD"
(Is the wording different for those who pay in different currency, or book outside the USA?)
If you did not receive your copy, just call Celebrity (or call your TA if you booked with a TA), give them your reservation number and ask them to send you one. They should email it to you right away.
Whenever I make changes to my reservation and request an updated copy, it typically appears in my in-box by the time I get off the phone.

We have $500 OBC, but it doesn't show up online anywhere, but we went down to our TA and got them to print out their confirmation of our booking and it said $500 OBC, we will take this onboard with us
It is important to make sure you always receive a copy of the cruise line's official confirmation, not just the TA's confirmation.
Hi, why did you go to the TA? Couldn't they just have emailed it to you?
In the UK we still use snail mail more often than email.
All my dealings with my TA have been by phone or snail mail.
I received in the post this morning a new copy of my confirmation from Celebrity (via my TA) which shows both the drinks package AND our OBC.
At last all is correct, only took months to get it sorted. I'm sure it won't affect our cruise in the slightest but nice not to have to have an argument once onboard...
Quick question--does OBC you receive from a TA show on your account? Or is the OBC being discussed on this thread pertain to the OBC granted by Celebrity?
Quick question--does OBC you receive from a TA show on your account? Or is the OBC being discussed on this thread pertain to the OBC granted by Celebrity? thanks!
Our OBC came from Celebrity as part of a passages incentive. We didn't get any from our TA. ( got £25 off the total price, which was unexpected )
Thanks jomf. I am thinking the OBC will only show if provided by X. We have had OBC from a TA previously and I never thought to check our account.....so I think I have answered the question then!

Please note that any OBC will not appear on your ship board account for at least 24 - 48 hours after boarding.
My wife and I have been on 25+ cruises with Celebrity and have always received any promised OBC within 48 hours after boarding.
A manager in the Purser’s office (who we’ve known for several years) provided the following explanation:
An OBC is an “on-board” credit to your ship-board account, and therefore, you will not receive the OBC until you are officially “on-board” the ship. It usually takes from 24 to 48 hours for the ship and the Celebrity HQ in Miami to confirm (via batch data transmissions) who is “on-board” the ship and what “on-board” credits are to be applied to what accounts.
However as others have noted, always bring any documentation (such as emails from TAs or RCCL’s Investor Relations) that promises an OBC.
OBC provided by my on-line TA doesn't appear on the guest copy. It's usually provided in the form of a "gift" and there is a card in the stateroom indicating the amount and listing the agency name as the source.

2 Holland America Line Crew Members Killed During Onboard 'Incident' in the Bahamas
The cruise line said that the crew members died in the ship's engineering space

Two crew members on a Holland America cruise ship died following an onboard "incident” in the ship’s engineering space.
Holland America shared the news on Facebook Friday, noting that the two crew members died while onboard the Nieuw Amsterdam ship at Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas that day.
The company said that it notified "appropriate authorities" and that the cause of the incident was being "investigated." Holland America did not disclose the crew members' identities.
“All of us at Holland America Line are deeply saddened by this incident and our thoughts and prayers are with our team members’ families at this difficult time,” a statement from the company read.
“The safety, security and welfare of all guests and crew are the company’s absolute priority," the cruise line added.
Holland America noted that it was offering counseling services to crew members who "may have been affected by this incident."
A spokesperson for the cruise line told PEOPLE on Saturday that the incident occurred Friday around 9:20 a.m. local time. They added that the ship was on a "7-night itinerary" and left Fort Lauderdale on March 16.
WFLA reported, citing CruiseMapper , that the Nieuw Amsterdam returned to Fort Lauderdale on Saturday.
The cruise deaths come days after another cruise incident, in which a Florida man was arrested in the Bahamas after a 27-year-old woman, also from Florida, was found dead on a cruise ship.
The 32-year-old man was arrested by the Royal Bahamas Police Force after a passenger was found unresponsive while their ship was on the island of Grand Bahama. The woman was pronounced dead after a medical team performed CPR on her when she was found unresponsive in her cabin.

Authorities then “confiscated a quantity of suspected cocaine” from her cabin and arrested the man, with an investigation ongoing. The man and the woman have not been publicly identified, and neither has the cruise line.
"An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death. Investigations are ongoing into this incident," police shared at the time.
Is it cheaper to buy a drinks package on board? Here's what cruise passengers should know.
A latte in the morning here, a piña colada by the pool there. On a cruise, ordering drinks can rack up a steep bill before you know it.
Though beverages like water, regular coffee, iced tea and lemonade are generally included in cruise fares, others cost extra. That’s where drink packages come in handy.
The optional add-ons broaden the range of beverages you can order without worrying about incurring charges each time. But they aren’t always worth it, and it can be cheaper to quench your thirst a la carte.
“What I tell clients is: Do the math on it,” said Rusty Pickett, a travel adviser and owner of Shellback Cruises.
What do cruise drink packages include?
“Each cruise line has a different package system,” Pickett said. The packages typically range from more limited soda or coffee packages to those that cover a wide range of alcohol and other drinks.
Carnival offers a Bottomless Bubbles package that includes sodas and juice. The line’s Cheers! package includes those, plus spirits, beer and wine by the glass priced at $20 or less, specialty coffee and more (guests can order only one drink at a time and are limited to 15 alcoholic drinks in 24 hours). Carnival also offers wine-specific packages.
Be sure to read the fine print, too, because there are often restrictions. On Royal Caribbean International ships, for example, beverage packages exclude drinks served in licensed Starbucks stores.
How much do cruise drink packages cost?
Beverage packages are typically priced per person, per day and sold for the duration of a cruise. Starting prices vary but can range from $10 to $15 for soda and specialty coffee packages to upward of $100 for those that include alcohol. Pickett also noted that a number of lines have raised drink package prices in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The aforementioned Cheers!, Carnival's most comprehensive package, starts at $59.95 per person, per day, while the Bottomless Bubbles package starts at $6.95 for kids and $9.50 for adults. During a recent cruise on the line’s newest ship, Jubilee , cocktails at new venues Dr.Inks, Ph.D., and The Golden Mermaid were priced at $14 a la carte, plus an 18% gratuity charge. Beverage packages generally include gratuities, Pickett said.
The most I racked up in a single day on Jubilee – for two lattes at the ship's JavaBlue Cafe and Marina Bar; two bottles of water in my stateroom; and one cocktail at the Marina Bar that night (plus additional gratuities I added) – was $34.86.
“When (clients) want to talk it through, it's usually about how much you drink per day,” said Valerie Dorsey, a franchise owner and travel adviser at Cruise Planners. “And if you're only going to have one or two drinks, even at $15 a drink, it's still cheaper than buying a $100-a-day package.”
Mainstream cruise lines may offer lower prices if guests purchase a package advance, according to Dorsey (luxury lines tend to include more in their fares, including drinks). Operators may also bundle them as part of other offers.
Even if not for cost savings, Pickett and Dorsey both said some travelers are drawn to drink packages for the convenience. “They're willing to pay money for not being nickeled-and-dimed when they go up to the bar,” Pickett said.
Does everyone in the cabin need to get the drink package?
Often, all guests of legal drinking age in the same stateroom are required to purchase a drink package if any guest in the cabin buys one, including the Cheers! package and Royal Caribbean's Deluxe Beverage Package .
Can I buy a drink package midcruise?
Even if you don't buy a drink package beforehand, you're not out of luck. Passengers may be able to buy them after they board, depending on when they make the purchase.
Royal Caribbean, for instance, sells drink packages on the first or second day of cruises four nights or longer; for sailings three nights or less, they're sold only on the first day. Celebrity Cruises (also part of Royal Caribbean Group), meanwhile, sells them up until three days before the end of a cruise.
Prices would be prorated on a per-day basis.
Can I bring my own drinks on a cruise?
Yes, depending on what it is. Beer and hard liquor are not allowed , but guests can bring wine or champagne to enjoy during their sailing – though Dorsey warned they will probably have to pay a corkage fee if they want to drink them outside their cabin.
For example, Princess Cruises charges $20 “should guests wish to consume their wine or champagne in the ship’s public areas,” according to its passage contract.
Guests may also be able to bring non-alcoholic drinks like bottled water, sodas and milk, but policies vary by line.
Dorsey also noted that if guests don’t mind going without espresso-based drinks or cocktails, they can opt not to buy a drink package at all. “I say to clients, ‘You don't have to put up extra money on a cruise if you don't want to.’ ”

My Celebrity - manage booking issue

Well after spending numerous attempts to load 'My Celecbrity' to manage my booking and failing, along with a number calls with no answer from the helpdesk I thought it best to complain on here and see if anyone else is having issues with the login to the Celebrity Cruises My Celebrity page?
I've gone around in circles trying to get to a login page to manage my booking, I've just made via a travel agents and told the details for my partner and I yet can't seem to make any progress as the link ends up going back to the main page.
I've tried calling the helpdesk and was on hold each time for well over 20 minutes with no answer, not a sign of a person to speak to just a repeating annoying messages.
Does anyone have any details which work when trying to login to the manage bookings, a phone number that is actually answered or anything else to help progress the issues around updating details?
Not that this plays a huge part in my issue but it does shred some light to our story. My better half and I are getting married next May and booked the cruise around Italy and Spain. It will be my fiancees first time on a ship and my second cruise. We're both over the moon about our choice its just being tarnished by these bumps.
Does anyone have any stories they'd like to share about previous experiences with the constellation / visits in Italy & Spain? Things to look out for, avoid, try etc
Thank you all, and sorry for my first post being a complaint.

Being a newbie, you wont have seen the multiple posts about the terrible website. We share your pain.

Have you been able to get into your reservation at all. If you have make sure you are signed off before trying to get back in.
Not at all, I've not been in it before and the first attempt just keeps me going around in circles. Although now it is coming up with a different loading page which then hangs.
I've just tried calling the travel agents to see if they have anything to help and didn't get through to them. It seems today is just the day for poor customer service all around. Lets hope this is just a small blip which is forgotten soon and all we remember in future is the amazing memories we'll make.
I just hope the customer service on the ship is better than on land.
I have learned that once I log in and can't get to what I want it is best to log-out completely and wait at least 20 minutes before trying again.
I've not even got to a login page yet. So I've not been able to enter any details. That will be my next hurdle as I've not been given any login details.

Maybe a different browser. Sometimes when logging in to Royal Caribbean (parent company), I have to use Internet Explorer vs Chrome.
I didn't think about that but I've just tried in Edge (the new IE), Firefox and I normally use Chrome anyway and still no joy. The page just keeps going back to the main welcome page.
Would I be able to trouble you and ask what you get when you try?
https://www.celebritycruises.com/spa/#/login - this is whats coming up on some pages, otherwise it keeps looping around to the main welcome page again

I am using IE with no problem. I go to Celebrity website & upper left corner drop down menu, last oprion SignUp/Log In that takes me to a black background screen to either enter username & password or to sign-up.
After I fill in info I get a scrolling screen showing Welcome to Eden, Summer Sale, etc. again I go to the drop down menu in upper left, last item is Welcome, ____. When I click on that I get a choice of My Dashboard, My Favorites, My Reservstions , etc. clicking on My Rese bastions brings up all my current bookings.
Hope this helps.
Well this is doubly confusing as I've seen the link is .com and Im trying to use .co.uk (living in the UK) and still no joy.
It appears the .com and .co.uk doesn't want to work for me but clearly its fine for others? I wonder if this is a quirk of living on a small island (Isle of Man) and not being able to get to some sites / services?! Unlikely I know but I don't understand why its failing still for me and I tried my phone as well.
I'll have to do a screen recording when I'm at home to show you the craziness, as it does seem to be me affected and not others. A little egg on my face there but still unsure why it wants to play ball with me. The links just don't seem to want to work.
Did you set up an account? You can't log in if you don't have an account.
Also, if you booked with a TA, you won't be able to do anything with your reservation except possibly purchase shore excursions until online check in. Everything else will need to be through your TA.

I have tried and tried ever since they changed websites,For weeks now I have tried to manage my 3 reservations and getting nowhere.Well I had enough and called and canceled them. I, m sick and tired of their pisspoor website.Maybe if they lose enough money from canceled or not making reservations with Celebrity,Their SO CALLED CEO will do something.Too many other good cruise lines to chose from to put up with the aggravation from Celebrity,s website!! # VERY FRUSTRATED:mad:
I just finished accessing my reservation and printing my Xpress Pass. To find my reservation, I followed the same process that jelayne posted earlier. Good luck.

It does seem the travel agent is able to get to the system and carry out the updates, so like you suggest it would be best to leave it to them to update.
Its still being weird with me and it seems others are sharing my pain with random website issues.
Thank you all for your help and advise, I think going forward I will keep this issue in mind and just go to the travel agents.
On a side note I am looking for the excursion details for the Italy and Spain cruise, if anyone is able to see the information would you be able to advise how I can get it or kindly share it so my wife to be and I can review them and decide which to do for our honeymoon?
Kind regards,
shirazcruiser
I called Celebrity because I too couldn't manage my reservations to look at excursions. The rep showed me an alternative way to go into the res. On the home page, click on the 3 white lines in the upper left corner, click on Cruise Planner, fill in Find Your Reservation and Book Now. Your cruise planner should open on the excursions page, then use the various drop down sections for dining, spa, beverages, etc.

Check out the port of calls section for Europe and you will find a lot of information about what to do in your ports. I prefer private tours with 3rd parties over cruise line tours. They usually offer more for the same or less money and much smaller groups.

Thanks shirazcruiser. Logging in to cruise planner using this route worked for me. Seems this gets you to the celebritycruises.com website rather than the celebritycruises.co.uk. All my order history, including dinner reservations appeared in the .com website.

First of all, congratulations on your pending marriage!
What ports will you visit? I ask because we did a b2b on the Constellation 2 years ago Venice to Rome and Rome to Istanbul so there might be some overlap.
We enjoyed our time on Constellation very much . . . The tea in Cafe al Bacio is quite good.
Is there somewhere where you can see your payments and balance?
