American country/ folk band, Zac Brown Band is southern born and supported; to be more specific, in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States.

Three-time GRAMMY winners and multi-platinum artists Zac Brown Band have become one of music's most heralded acts. Their latest album JEKYLL + HYDE, out now on Southern Ground Artists/John Varvatos Records/Big Machine Label Group/Republic Records, marked the band’s third consecutive #1 debut on the BIllboard 200 chart.

Together with their three platinum-selling albums, Uncaged, You Get What You Give, and The Foundation, and their 2013 project The Grohl Sessions Vol. 1, the band has sold over seven million albums to date. On the radio, the band has earned a historic series of thirteen #1 hit radio singles and became only the second artist to top both the country and active rock formats.

Zac Brown Band are currently out on their largest North American Stadium Tour to date which includes two history making performances - a first ever three-night run at Fenway Park, and the first ever concert at Coors Field. Additional stadiums include Wrigley Park, Nationals Park, Citi Field, Comerica Park and Citizen's Bank Park. Zac Brown Band is managed by ROAR, a Beverly Hills-based artist and brand management company.

The band is also represented by CAA, public relations firm Shore Fire Media and strategic digital marketing agency Girlilla Marketing. Additional information can be found at http://www.zacbrownband.com/.

Live reviews

Country rockers the Zac Brown Band delight crowds all over the States with their infectious music and high energy performance. The sound the band makes sounds so huge when you consider that it is seven musicians sat with their guitars. There are no gimmicks or special effects just endearing, well played country music.

From the ripping stomp-athon 'Whiskey's Gone' that begins the show, the audience cheer throughout. No matter what your preference in genre, Zac Brown and his brilliant band have catered for you with covers from all range of artists such as Led Zepplin, Billy Joel and Queen. The emphasis of fun is there within the performance as Zac continuously interacts with his audience and tells tales of gigs gone by or the meanings behind certain songs before his band kicks in.

Having had a large amount of hits on the US Country chart, the band intelligently blend some together so everyone has chance to hear at least part of their favourite. A particularly fantastic combo is 'Free' and 'Into The Mystic', a cover of Van Morrison. They finish with their very first hit single 'Chicken Fried' and take a final bow whilst enjoying the huge applause from the crowd.

I LOVE the Zac Brown Band. I've seen them three times. This is the first time I've gone on a Sunday and to be honest, I was a little disappointed. They played a lot of covers, which is fine, but when it came to the encore, we were excited because it felt like they had missed a few really good songs. They played one new song off their album, then went into a ridiculously long "guitar battle" which honestly went on for way too long considering that it was 10pm and as a 27 year old with a job, I was ready to go to bed. Had they played that in the middle of the concert, I would have been more into it but I wanted to hear a few more of their big hits during that time. But instead they did the guitar off and we were just like "what is happening right now..." and then the last song they played was a cover! I would have gone home had I know that was going to be the case for the encore. I didn't need to stay an extra 30 minutes for that. We were all pretty disappointed, especially for paying $50 to go see them. They have SO many good songs, and I'm sure they want to switch it up and play something different, but don't use the encore for that! Leave us on a high at the end..

I got to see Zac Brown Band for the second time when they toured with Kenny Chesney! I got to see ZBB when Dr. Ryan took me to the Southern Ground Festival 2 years ago but this was Mom’s first time. I still can’t get over how much talent is in this band. I feel like they play a better rendition of The Devil Went Down to Georgia than Charlie Daniels. I swear it’s faster, I don’t know how they do it. At one point, the lead electric guitarist went into this forever long solo that never got boring. It reminded me of being at a Keith Urban, John Mayer, or Brad Paisley concert. Maybe ZBB should get together with them for a song! The boys finished out their set with Chicken Fried which I’m pretty sure will always be my favorite, no matter how many more albums they release.

We saw Zac in Charlottesville, VA. I twas a great show that highlighted the new album but also his many super hits. We were also impressed with the amount of covers he and the band did. he also included Darrell Scott for the eintire show as part of the bandm which I loved. Also brought out was the O'Conner family band, who are now on my to see list! Caroline Jones was a surprise opener who also came out and did a couple with Zac and she was very good.

I would recommend seeing the Zac Brown Band if you have the chance and also the longtime stalwart Darrell Scott should be on you bucket artist list!

Where to begin??? Zac and his crew are amazingly talented singers, songwriters, performers that don’t get the recognition they deserve in the music industry. My husband is part of his crew and I have had the privilege of witnessing several shows at different locations to “SOLD OUT” crowds that love him. He never does the same show twice, so you just never know what you are going to see when you go to one of them, always a variety of different genres of music. They are all just an amazing group of musicians. I LOVE Zac Brown Band!!!!

Seeing Zac Brown Band live is a treat that anyone who has an appreciation for music could enjoy. They presented all spectrum and genres of music from Kashmir by Led Zepplin to Into the Mystic by Van Morrison, and-of course- some Jimmy buffet. The band displayed their talents both through "big band" moments with flashy lights and hifi audio as well as an "acoustic session" with just six band members and a microphone. The show was family-friendly and enjoyable for all audiences. I definitely want to see Zac Brown Band in concert again.

Great show! They played most of their hit and then some songs from other artist. They did a great job of trying to keep the atmosphere like a party but many of their songs don't fit with that atmosphere. They do a great tribute to the troops. That was a part of the show that had everybody's attention. The lawn seat a Klipchs was you and rowdy but the closer to the pavilion you sat the better that got. The only problem with the show was the opener. They were a little more deep southern country and so nobody seemed to care about them.

I've waited 5 years to see the band. It was well worth the wait. Zac Brown Band did not disappoint. It was a beautiful night. Nobody was acting up and I have a great memory with my lady. She surprised me with the tickets and words can't describe how excited I was. The band is stand up. There were storms coming in and they did there best to finish there set so we could get out to our cars as quick as possible. To have concern for your fans is hands down amazing. Can't wait to see them again.

The last time we saw Zac Brown perform was outside at the Olympic Park back in June 2013 as a support act so we were pleased to see them in an indoor arena and performing as the main act.

Having only discovered the Zac Brown Band around 5 years ago they always inject great energy when performing live and the O2 was no exception. Great live band, great song selection as well as a few covers and an overall performance that brought house down!

Awesome show! Opener Madison Ward will be a star in my estimation. Beautiful vocals and her cover of Killing Me Softly later in the show was magic. Zac and his band are phenomenal musicians. Their covers of Use Somebody, Bohemian Rhapsody and Paradise City were incredible! My favourite was Bohemian Rhapsody. Very engaging and crowd participation was one of best I've ever experienced. Great night. Would see them again in a heartbeat.

Today, Grammy Award-winning multi-platinum ensemble Zac Brown Band announced their 10th ever North American Tour touted as From the Fire Tour set for 2023.

The tour comes hot on the heels of a monumental year for the ensemble, which saw the release of The Comeback (Deluxe), which features re-recorded favorites with the likes of James Taylor, Jimmy Buffet, Blake Shelton, Marcus King, Cody Johnson, Jamey Johnson, and Ingrid Andress; their Out in the Middle Tour which featured performances at venues like the Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl, Atlanta Ga.’s Truist Park, Chicago’s Wrigley Field and Boston’s iconic Fenway Park where they performed 13 sold-out shows, securing the record for the most ever. Not long after, they were inducted into the Fenway Music Hall of Fame, joining Billy Joel and Paul McCartney.

“This past year was monumental, and we’re thrilled to bring all that momentum with us into 2023 and onto the ‘From the Fire Tour,’” said frontman Zac Brown in a press release. “We are all like family in this band and having the opportunity to bring our music from city to city is something we never take for granted. We can’t wait to be back out on the road with our fans.”

The From the Fire Tour will kick off in Columbus, Ohio, on June 30 and continue through November, and will consist of over 30 shows, including a return to Fenway Park. Other notable stops include performances at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater, in Wantagh, N.Y., Hersheypark Stadium, in Hershey, Pa., Toronto’s Budweiser Stage, Saratoga Springs, N.Y.’s Saratoga Performing Arts Center and more. During their travels, Zac Brown Band will be joined by an eclectic group of opening acts on select dates, including Marcus King, Tenille Townes, and King Calaway.

Ahead of the From the Fire Tour, the band will make their return to the international stage, with headlining performances at C2C: Country to Country in the U.K. and CMC Rocks in Australia in March. They also have a performance in conjunction with MLB’s Lou Gehrig Day celebrated across the league in June, on the books, where Zac Brown Band will perform a Cincinnati Reds Post-Game Benefit Concert, where a portion of proceeds from every ticket sold will benefit founding band member John Driskell Hopkins’ Hop On A Cure Foundation , dedicated to finding a cure for ALS.

Tickets for Zac Brown Band’s upcoming tour will go onsale to the general public on Dec. 16 at 10 a.m. local time. Learn more and find tickets here .

How the Zac Brown Band Is "Raising the Bar" and Creating Their Greatest Tour to Date

As part of e’s backstage pass, zac brown gave fans an inside look into how his band continues to provide a unique tour experience at some of the biggest venues in the country..

Congratulations! You just scored a backstage pass to the hottest tickets in town.

After COVID-19 put a pause on live entertainment, your favorite artists are ready to hit the road and entertain audiences safely with brand-new tours and experiences. And regardless of where you are, we're offering an all-access ticket to every must-see concert of the year. Welcome to E!'s Backstage Pass .

When it comes to concert experiences, you can't put the Zac Brown Band in the same boat  as other artists.

For more than 20 years, the country music band has been delighting fans with their timeless hits and incredible talents. And after the release of their latest album  The Comeback , Zac Brown and his crew are ready to rock during the Out in the Middle international tour.

"It's such a blessing to have this music that we have and to be able to go out with my people and present something that brings people together," Zac exclusively shared with E! News. "We get an opportunity to make people feel good. I feel like music is medicine, so being able to do that in these times is important."

From now until November, Zac and the band will hit iconic venues like New York's Citi Field, Boston's Fenway Park, Chicago's Wrigley Field and Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl.

Regardless of if attendees score front-row tickets or chairs way in the back, Zac and the band work hard to ensure every seat is a good seat in massive venues that can fit more than 40,000 people.

"My worst nightmare is that people come and invest in seeing a show and if you can't hear the music, then it takes away from the experience," he explained. "For me, I think, ‘What's the biggest place we can play that still feels intimate and still sounds great?' That's how we decide on the places that we're going to play."

The band also invests in the highest level of sound equipment while Zac works closely with production, a video team, lighting crew and other behind-the-scenes creatives to build an unforgettable show.

As part of their Out in the Middle tour, the Zac Brown Band will finally be able to perform songs from their latest album, The Comeback , to thousands of fans. "This is such an incredible opportunity and to do what we love to do," Zac Brown said. "We're super excited to go out and entertain everybody."

When he's not on the road, Zac loves spending time with the five kids he shares with his ex-wife Shelly Brown . "When I'm at home, I'm running my kids around and being a soccer dad, which is my greatest privilege," he said. "But every single night that I go on stage, I'm reminded like, 'Oh s--t, this is what we do.' I don't ever lose perspective on that and how blessed we are to be able to do it. We owe the fans the absolute greatest show that we can pull off."

Before showtime, Zac and the crew have a rule to not drink or smoke anything until the concert is done. "It's all business beforehand," Zac said. "I warm up with my vocal coach for about 30-40 minutes. Then I sit with the guys and we play songs together and prepare to sing."

"My ideology around creating my band is to be the worst person in the band," Zac said. "Getting to show the talent that's around me is more important than me trying to go out and keep the spotlight the entire time...That's a great source of pride for me—the level of musicianship that's in my band and how I can let them shine."

"We've got Robert Randolph and the Family Band  joining us for the entire tour," Zac teased. "They play their set. We play our set. Then for the last third of the night, we integrate their whole band and my whole band together." What comes next is the biggest production fans have ever seen.

With supporting acts like Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Zac urges fans to come early and stay late. "People are going to get a rockin' set to start and then we come out and do what people would expect from us," he teased. "And then we get that huge last part of the show."

My family and I recently stayed at Bear Creek Lodge and Cabins in Helen, GA. What a beautiful place... out in the middle of nature!

zac brown band australia tour

My “Out In The Middle” has always been the Flint River in middle Georgia. I grew up floating and fishing this river and so did everyone that I grew up with. I’d say it’s home but it’s more like my center. I know if I get a few days on the river everything is going to line back up and I’ll be centered again.

I spent my youth growing up in the Las Vegas area. When we first came to the mainland of the United States from Puerto Rico, Las Vegas is where we came and made it our home. You can just imagine a ten year old going from an island with lush tropical rainforest, to a desert setting. My thoughts at that time were dry, hot, lots of horses, cowboys, Indians and bare dry mountains. Well, I was in for an awakening with my new surroundings.

Red Rock mountains and National park along with going to old town Bonnie Springs was one of my first and most amazing memories in getting to know our new area. The desert at that time to my surprise I learned is as full of life as anywhere else in the world. One of my favorite things to do when I visit Las Vegas is go for a hike on the many picturesque trails and have lunch up there. You’ll be treated to cliffs, buttes and super spectacular rock formations with so many different color variations. A must to do while in the Las Vegas area. It’s very easy to get to and does not cost but a couple of dollars to do. Simple and just as amazing! as anything that is in the strip. I highly recommend it. Red Rock Canyon National Park. Red Rock Canyon is located 17 miles west of the Las Vegas Strip on Charleston Boulevard/State Route 159. The area is visited by more than two million people each year. In marked contrast to a town geared to entertainment and gaming, Red Rock offers enticements of a different nature including a 13-mile scenic drive, miles of hiking trails, rock climbing, horseback riding, mountain biking, road biking, picnic areas, nature observing and visitor center with indoor and outdoor exhibits as well as a bookstore.

Bonnie Springs Ranch was an attraction near Blue Diamond, Nevada that included an 1880s western town replica and a zoo. It is located on 63.86 acres in the Mojave Desert, below the Spring Mountains in the Red Rock Canyon area, 20 miles west of Las Vegas.

Sarah’s Creek is a spot at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in northeast Georgia. This was my goto camping place my friends and I had in high school where no one could find us. It wasn’t on any map, you couldn’t get there without four wheel drive, and had to cross through a couple creeks and up and mountain. It’s since become an established camp site with paved roads, but I’ll never forget my time there out in the middle of nowhere.

Zac Brown Band Delivers Classic Covers and Timeless Hits at RodeoHouston

Reggie Mathalone March 15, 2024 6:47AM

Zac Brown Band plays to a crowd of 70,095 at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

The drama of the opening displays for RodeoHouston concerts, even to the seasoned rodeo-goer, is always at least a little intoxicating. The syncopated pops of ground flares and spiral fireworks seen against the arena’s dark canopy, initiate every act, whether or not the spectacle is particularly apposite to what follows. In Zac Brown Band’s case, the drama was followed by an awkward lull as the band fiddled with their instruments, and got situated. It was a long enough pause that a few audience members could be heard pondering if there might be technical difficulties.

“Mr. Clay Cook on the guitar y'all” Brown announced, as the group's guitarist led us into the next song, “Keep Me in Mind” with a virtuosic guitar solo. Fiddler Jimmy De Martini was equally impressive here, masterfully playing the contrapuntal, almost Appalachian lines that bring this song to life on the stage.

Zac Brown Band is a group whose skill is, frankly, a cut above some of the genre’s usual suspects, which is apparent, practically, in their intonation and musicianship, but more intangibly, in the way that they can make a football stadium feel like a small town dive bar (in the best of ways). Perhaps that’s why the ensemble has headlined RodeoHouston ten times, with attendance often soaring above 70,000 (this year’s show brought in 70,095 paid attendees.)

A somber unaccompanied violin solo by Jimmy De Martini, quickly shifted the tone of the show: the first few lines of a cover of “Paint It, Black” by The Rolling Stones. Zac Brown explained that they chose to add the song to their catalog after opening for The Stones back in 2021. Then the crowd got a second cover song, “Much Too Young (To Feel This Damn Old) by Garth Brooks. “We want to do one for the cowboys,” Brown revealed, as he played the opening chords.

But the real treat of the night was a guest appearance by singer songwriter Marcus King. “If y'all don’t know who Marcus King is,” Brown declared, “you should.” Zac Brown spoke above a piano’s vague repetitive cadence, “You know sometimes you see people play and you’re like, that guys going to be an absolute legend… he’s got that thing y’all. He can sing, he can play, and he can write.” It was a strong endorsement for King, who did not disappoint. Together they played a mashup of ZBB’s “Colder Weather" and “Take It to the Limit” by the Eagles, complete with an extended guitar solo by King that left the audience wishing for more. “That boy good,” Zac remarked, as King left the stage.

For the finale, the band performed an anthemic rendering of "America the Beautiful” which, predictably, ran straight into the group’s 2008 hit, and longtime crowd-pleaser “Chicken Fried.”

Though most might say Brown and his band’s notability is mantled in the world of country music, Zac Brown dismisses this kind of resolute categorization. Zac Brown Band’s versatility affords their fans concerts like these, where classic rock, country music, and raga rock songs exist in tandem. The result is worth the price of admission, even after nine other showings at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Zac Brown Band will continue touring the U.S. throughout most of 2024, with just a couple of stops in Canada. And if you missed them at the rodeo, don’t fret. You can catch them back in Texas in May for a their tour stop in Arlington.

Zac Brown Band Amps Up Summertime Vibes, Embraces 'Carefree' State Of Mind

Zac Brown Band unleashed a summertime anthem to kick off the weekend on Friday (March 22).

The Grammy Award-winning group delivered the carefree single “ Tie Up ,” which draws inspiration from frontman Zac Brown ’s favorite spot to tie up on Lake Lanier in North Georgia, per a press release issued Friday morning. Brown noted the shout-out in the song to “Cocktail Cove” on Lake Lanier, and explained that “growing up fishing and being on that lake was a big part of my childhood. We wanted to give our fans the ultimate summer jam and are looking forward to playing it on the road.”

Brown teamed up with Jonathan Singleton and Ben Simonetti to write “Tie Up,” and when Brown heard the start to the song that Singleton and Simonetti had, he thought, “That's a smash. We got to write that one. We got to get it done.” He said it took about three hours to get part of it done, but “the bridge wasn’t happening. It took about three more months to finally sit down, (and) I was writing with another guy and played him the song and he had an idea... So it took probably, you know, three and a half, four months to get it finished.

“You know, finding great people to write with is a big part of the process,” he said. “And when you find good chemistry with people and you sit down and you’re productive things pop out and tie up was one of those things. Super happy to get it out there into the world. …I sat down with some buddies trying to figure out what a summer song would be. What's classic ‘being out on the water?’ What are people going to want to jam to in summertime? And that's how ‘Tie Up’ was chosen.”

Brown said some of his favorite summer songs include “Springsteen” by Eric Church , Bob Marley hits, The Elovaters , Stick Figure , Jimmy Buffett and anything with “island vibes” to crank up on a boat. “You know, if I'm out fishing or something like that, you got to figure out what's going to make the fish bite. So, I normally run a cycle of Bob Marley to Kings of Leon to Sturgill [Simpson] to [Chris] Stapleton to just figure out what they're going to be biting to. It's kind of a superstition that we have.”

Zac Brown Band will join fellow country star Kenny Chesney on his headlining “Sun Goes Down Tour” this summer. The tour also includes Megan Moroney and Uncle Kracker . See the list of Zac Brown Band’s upcoming performance dates below, and listen to “ Tie Up ” here:
