We do our best to ensure you will see dolphins because you have come to Anna Marie Island to watch dolphins! If you do not spot dolphins during our two-hour Dolphin Cruise Tour, we will give you a gift a discounted tour for a future trip. However, we have an extremely high rate of success!

We'll take you to the greatest spots for dolphin sightings with a skilled captain at the helm. Not simply the well-known tourist destinations. We know where the dolphins like to play in secret hideouts near Anna Marie. We'll talk about the area, give some fascinating information, and tell a few anecdotes while looking for dolphins.

Passage Key Private 4 hour

Enjoy a day of sandbar adventure, swimming, snorkeling, and paddling on the Passage Key in Florida. This island is home to some of the most pristine waters in the world. While you're here, keep an eye out for protected birds and hunt for sand dollars, one of Florida's most prized natural treasures!

Staring out over the crystal clear Gulf of Mexico, or wading in a shallow cove is the only way to describe our snorkeling adventure on Passage Key. You will marvel at the colorful fish and other aquatic wonders. It's a great chance to see some of Florida's protected birds as well.

This tour is open to those 18 and older only. Passage Key is clothing optional however, clothing is permitted and you can enjoy one of the most amazing sandbars in the area.

Spend your day on the beautiful island of Anna Maria exploring paradise. Take the time to enjoy the warm and sunny weather. SNORKEL EGMONT KEY

Our snorkeling trips are always a hit. The use of our underwater scooters makes it even more fun! Egmont Key is a beautiful island with a rich history that makes swimming along the ruins an amazing  experience. This excursion also lets you explore other sandbars and use our amenities onboard.

FAMILY FISHING TOUR

Join us for relaxing 3 hour family fishing tour on our intercoastal waterways. This fun fishing trip is catch and release and offers some fun fishing for the kids while the parents relax and enjoy the ride. Master captain laura williams.

Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, I waved goodbye in 2005 and "Hello" to beautiful Bradenton, Florida. With my toes in the sand (or somewhere in the water), the transition was a dream come true.

My passion for others, our environment, and the spectacular marine life residing in our beautiful waters inspired me to become a USCG Captain. With my help, you can enjoy the perfect opportunity to get in the water and off the island. Let me give you a new perspective on Anna Maria Island and its best-kept secrets. We'll go behind the scenes where you'll see marine life in its natural habitat, snorkel, island hop, eateries you never knew existed and visit after your day on the water!

Aside from Anna Maria Island, our charters run the Intracoastal Waterway, the Gulf of Mexico, and Cortez Fishing Village. We're always on the go for manatee, dolphin and showing you the best places to snorkel, paddle board and explore. From boating to snorkeling, fishing, swimming, dolphin and manatee watching to sightseeing, we have you covered. We provide snorkeling gear, beach toys, floats, nets and buckets. You will receive an additional 30 minutes at no charge. Example: If you book the 12:30 – 2:30 and  3:00 – 5:00, your tour will go from 12:30 to 5:00!

I grew up a quick 15 minute drive to the turquoise waters of Anna Maria Island.  Now we are 30 minutes to this little slice of paradise.  It’s grown SO much over the last almost forty years, but it’s still super family friendly, walkable, with beautiful beaches and fantastic sunsets.

Where to Eat on Anna Maria Island

Skinnys:  best burger ever.  it’s kind of a little beach shack dive bar.  But the burgers cannot be beat!  IMHO, better than Duffy’s.

Sandbar:  I love this for dinner out with kids because they can play in the sand, and you can all catch a gorgeous sunset.

The doctors office:  great spot for a fun night cap!

Rod and Reel Pier:  Always get the grouper sandwich!  Best one on Anna Maria Island!

Graze Street AMI:  I am sooo glad our friends Heather and Jason opened up their brick and mortar on AMI.  We have hired them for special dinners, cheese boards, and beach picnics, and it is ALWAYS incredible!  Go here!!

The Waterfront:  love eating here for a special lunch or dinner.

Ocean Star:  if you’re craving sushi, this place is it!

Poppos:  great tacos.  I always get a baby bowl loaded with tons of veggies.

Scott’s Deli:  I am addicted to their Bahn Mi wrap, but everything is delicious.

We saw this tour place while exploring the Bridge Street area after sunrise. We reserved same day for 5 people for a 1pm tour. Captain Josh and first mate Shane were very informative about the marine life, birds, boats the Intracoastal and local businesses in this 90 minute relaxed tour on a 30 person pontoon. You embark just off the Bridge Street pier. We saw some dolphins at a distance on the ride. If don't see any dolphins they will give you another tour at a different time for free. Competitive prices. Senior and children discounts. You can bring your own food and drinks. Easy on/off the boat. Tips can be done upon credit card payment or cash after the tour. It was a great way to explore the area by the water. I would recommend.

Awesome tour! Best so far on Anna Maria Island! Saw dolphins up close and saw an awesome sunset! The crew, Jimmy and Melissa were so nice and had a lot of trivia to share about the area and dolphins.

Priced at only $35/person this boat tour is officially my favorite thing to do in Bradenton Beach. Captain Kirk and Captain Josh were phenomenal. They provided information about dolphins that I did not know before, helped my sisters and I onto and off of the boat, offered to let us wear his jacket due to the colder weather and took some beautiful photos of us. There were a few dolphins that we caught glimpses of, but the real joy was spending time on the boat getting to know the captains. We had a great time and laughed the entire time!

Easy to see why this place is #1. Josh was the captain, Melissa was the guide. Fabulous 90 Minutes on the water in a brand new boat. We saw dolphins and amazing birds and scenery. Melissa was a wealth of knowledge on local history, restaurants and celebrity homes. We could not have asked for a better tour!!

New tour Boat -

Tour today was wonderful. Fun and knowledgeable guides, comfortable boat. Saw multiple dolphins (at least 10, two different groups), and a group of manatees. Their web site warns you to arrive 30 minutes early due to sparse parking. I recommend allowing more than that, or taking the trolley if you are already staying on A.M.I. Ages of passengers ranged from about 4 to 80 and it was easy and safe for everyone.

Jimmy and Melissa were our tour guides and they were great! Super friendly and informative. We saw a big grouping of dolphins and they taught us a lot of fun facts about them. We were fortunate to have the boat to ourselves so it felt like a private tour. Totally worth the $35/person, just know the tour guides do work solely on tips so tips are expected.

Another beautiful evening and sunset, guided by Captain Josh and first mate Kathy! The boat is roomy and comfortable and there were just 8 of us on board, so almost a private guided tour! Bring your own food (we did) and drinks (of any kind) and you're ready to go! Free public parking is two blocks away, as the city pier lot is tiny. Boat departs from the Bradenton City pier. Check-in is at the pier entrance. Sunset cruise departed promptly at 6pm, on time snd we set of to see some dolphins- and they obliged, swimming around and under the boat! Then out to the gulf for sunset and an easy ride back to the dock. This is our third trip with visiting friends and each has been a blast!

Absolutely amazing! The captain and his first mate were friendly and entertaining, giving us clues on how to find the dolphins and the manatees! The sunset was beautiful and we got some spectacular pictures! I would definitely recommend this tour as it was well worth the price!

Captains were fun and knowledgeable. Dolphins were the closest I've gotten to on a cruise! Water was aquamarine and gorgeous. 90 minute cruise for $30! Amazing deal! We wanna go back already! Highly recommend

I was absolutely blown away by this dolphin boat tour. The atmosphere was intimate as we were joined by only one other small party. Justin and Christina, our guides, were simply amazing. Their extensive knowledge and ability to present information in a fun way made the tour even more enjoyable. Not only did they provide us with great recommendations for local eateries and activities, but they also shared fascinating historical facts about the city. The highlight of the tour was undoubtedly the opportunity to observe both baby and adult dolphins, along with manta rays and other marine creatures, all from a safe distance. I was particularly impressed when Justin noticed a plastic bag floating in the water and Christina promptly retrieved it. Their enthusiasm and dedication to preserving marine life and educating others on the importance of doing the same were truly commendable. The boat itself was in excellent condition, and I felt completely secure with Justin and Christina at the helm. I cannot emphasize enough how remarkable this experience was. I wholeheartedly recommend this boat tour to anyone seeking an unforgettable adventure.

Bradenton Beach Marina

Sandbar express & egmont key express tours.

The Sandbar Express Excursion  is a highly rated trip. This trip stops at the world famous Jewfish Key, where you can get out and swim, shell, snorkel, and relax. The water here is crystal clear and bright blue. On this excursion you have the possibility to see dolphins, hermit crabs, sand dollars, starfish, fish, and much more!

• This trip leaves from Bradenton Beach Marina at scheduled times everyday. Times may vary
• What to bring? Sunscreen, a towel, and water shoes. Small coolers for lunch and drinks are allowed.
• We have a 6 person minimum for this trip. Adults $ 60 .00 and kids under 10 years of age $ 55 .00 per person

The Egmont Key Express  is one of the most popular trips for swimming, shelling, beach going, and exploring. Egmont Key is a Florida state park which is a barrier island separating Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. The island is largely uninhabited except for some park rangers and the Tampa Bay ship’s pilots. While you are on the island you can explore the ruins of Fort Dade. There is also an active lighthouse (still in use today) that was built in the 1850. The south end of the island is a bird sanctuary, but the north end is open to beachgoing , shelling, and swimming.

• The boat departs from Bradenton Beach Marina for a 4 hour trip, giving you two full hours to explore the island.
• We have a 6 person minimum for this trip. Adults 80.00 and kids under 10 years of age $75.00 per person

Our Fun Boat Tours Siesta Key location offers daily dolphin tours, sandbar trips, sunset cruises, and private charters that are built to suit your group's needs. Cruising along the waters of Siesta Key, you’ll watch the wildlife along Lido Key, Long Boat Key, and have the downtown Sarasota skyline as your backdrop. Although we do not disembark the boat, it is a boating activity and you may get wet. We recommend casual dress attire.

Once we depart, Fun Boat travels along the Intercoastal Waterway, through the mangrove islands of Roberts Bay in search of dolphins and other aquatic life. Along the shoreline, Fun Boat Crew finds dolphins, aquatic birds and often manatee feeding in the grass flats. When we reach the northern tip of Siesta Key, Fun Boat cruises along the shoreline of downtown Sarasota while the tour guides teach you about the iconic homes, sights and sounds of Sarasota Bay. Enjoy a beverage while checking out the sailboats of Sarasota’s mooring field. Crossing the Bay we cruise along the shoreline of Bird Key, where the dolphins are notorious for showing up and showing off, as they play, hunt, and at times even ride in our wake.

Rounding the southern end of Bird Key, the majestic beauty of south Lido Key comes into view. Once you’ve reached the southern tip of Lido Key you’ve arrived at the destination of the beautiful and famous Siesta Key Florida sunset. This is where you will watch the sun slowly disappear into the horizon, creating a colorful sky filled with opportunity for unbelievable photographs.

Fun After Dark

After the sun sets, the adventure really begins, and you learn why it’s called the Fun Boat. The crew takes song requests for a little karaoke contest on the way in. The sunset cruise aboard Fun Boat is a must do while visiting Siesta Key and the greater Sarasota Florida area.
