A trip to the Everglades Alligator Farm includes an exciting airboat tour, an alligator show, and an alligator feeding demonstration! If you are headed to Key Largo or Key West, this is an attraction you absolutely won’t want to miss.
BEST AIRBOAT RIDE IN SOUTH FLORIDA
I went here today with my husband and paid about $60 for both of us, and that is already including airboat show in the package which I highly recommend. This is a great spot to check out when in South Florida. We spent about three hours in the place. Staffs are friendly and shows were very entertaining.
A quick adventure, not too long but enough to get a feel for the land. We loved the 360 turns, even got soaked (or a little wet) depending on where you sit. You can feed an Emu, see the anaconda and fun gift shop too. We loved the baby alligator pen and holding a baby alligator was unforgettable! The alligator feeding and alligator show was great, the gentleman who hosted was even better. Very friendly, patient with kids and informative/educational.
We had a lot of fun here, the animals look like they are taken good care of and Liz was great, she did all the shows on this day (gator, snakes, feeding) and we thought she did an amazing job! The airboat tour was also great, it’s loud but you get ear protection and we saw gators!
As an animal lover, this was just about the best part of our 5 day trip here. I loved the great info from both shows and got to hold a baby alligator too! Over 250 alligators to see of all sizes. If you cant decide whether to add the boat ride, think no more, add it. Very fun, safe and once in a lifetime experience. All so affordable.
Highly recommend visiting this place. It was one of the best experience on our holiday. We booked an animal experience tour which was great, we all loved it and many thanks to our great guide! He was so nice and knowledgeable and made the tour really enjoyable for the kids too. Thank you!
I hadn't had high expectations because the price was lower than other options I had looked into. Tyler was engaging and informative for the alligator feeding and show. Jose was a great tour guide on the fan boat through the everglades. There is a reptile exhibit among other animals to view included with the general admission. My two young kids had a great time as well. It's couple and kid-friendly!
Not just a roadside attraction - but also very educational. The folks who gave the talks where very informative about the reptiles and conservation starts with education. The airboat ride was very fun and VERY wet - too short though. Spent about 3 hours there.
They keep adding to it and it's grown substantially since my last visit. Well worth the admission fee of $27.00 USD which does not include the swamp bait ride. I think it was $32.00 all inclusive. This place does a great job through it's alligator feeding and taming exhibitions. In addition to alligators, they have crocodiles, bobcats, parakeets, large turtles, a snake exhibit, and much more. On this trip, there was no snake show with used to be part of the schedule. I'm not sure if it was discontinued or just not available on the day we went. You are free to bring in your own food and enjoy a nice picnic at one of their many picnic tables. Your entire experience takes about three hours. It's quite educational and I highly recommend it.
You can do the whole thing (feeding demo, airboat ride, show) in around two hours. They have over 400 alligators and a variety of other animals on exhibit. There are several enclosures with baby alligators. The airboat ride is 20 minutes of fun if you get the right guide. Ours was awesome. You actually learn a lot that you may not know about gators.

Customer reviews.
Such a blast! We saw dozens of alligators on the trip as well as other wildlife! The boat ride was fun and smooth! Our boat captain and guide Taylor was awesome! He was personable and very knowledgeable! He made our experience special! Everyone had a blast! I would highly recommend this company! Thanks for the awesome man Experience!.
I met the tour guide driver today and it feels like i’ve known him for years. His name is Taylor and is probably one of the most friendliest people I have ever met. I was worried it was going to be an awkward and quiet boat ride the whole tour, but it was an amazing experience! 11/10 would do again!!!.
We went out with Taylor on Saturday morning; my brother and nephew visiting me from California • We’ve never been on an airboat and what an incredible experience!!! Taylor couldn’t have been more informative, friendly, professional and just an awesome guide!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour, just an incredible experience! I would love to do it again!! Thank you Taylor!
Had a fantastic time experiencing all of the wildlife within the habitat...Taylor took the time to share several stories involving his many experiences within the Everglades.....5 plus stars .....A definite must...WE WILL BE BACK.....
Excellent tour. We were a group of 7 and all enjoy it. The reservation and organization was impecable. The tour guide was excellent and fun. I fully recommend Everglades boat tour.
Captain Taylor was the best guide I ever had! He was so personable and fun and did an excellent job of explaining all the beautiful intricacies of what makes the Everglades so great! I would highly recommend him over any of the other tour guides. Plus they have a new boat with cool green gator coverings that made for a smooth safe ride.
First time in Miami and first time to the glades and it was beyond what we expected! Taylor was incredibly knowledgeable about the area due to him growing up and being in the glades since a young child. We got up and close with gators. My son (10) had an unbelievable time. Definitely would recommend taking private tours over anything. We will be back and will definitely take another tour with Taylor!
We had such a great time on this airboat ride! From the get-go Jodi was so kind and responsive on the phone, answering all our questions and just generally being very friendly. We wanted to do a sunrise tour, which she said they didn't normally do, but she checked and accommodated us as she thought it would be an interesting experience as well. It turned out to be really, really nice. We met up with Taylor, who was also very kind and friendly. He didn't rush the experience at all and was very knowledgeable about the area, wildlife and plant life. They are a family owned business and local to the Everglades, so if you want a great experience...go with them!
Had a great 1hr tour with Taylor. This was the only company that managed to sqeeze us in on short notice. It was easy to find the departure point. Taylor is very knowledgable about the history and ecology of the everglades. Learned a lot and saw a few gatoors and birds. Because our tour was pretty late in the day, we saw a wonderful sunset. I would definitly recommend everglades airboat tours to anyone. They are the best.

GREAT AIRBOAT RIDE AND ALLIGATOR SHOW
Loved it, we´ve heard some stories of lame airboat places. This one is super close, they have airboats all day departing every like 15 or 20 minutes, the staff is SUPER, and the alligator show after the ride is actually really cool! And they let you take a picture with a baby alligator for $3!!!!!
My boyfriend and I just got back from a cruise on the Norwegian Epic. Our flight out of Miami wasn't until 2:45, so we decided to do this excursion through Norwegian. I would highly recommend a stop at this park for anyone in the Miami area. When I pictured the everglades, I thought of those huge mossy banyan trees. This is not what you will see! There is tall grass and lily pads everywhere. We saw about a dozen alligators, three or four turtles, and countless birds. TIP: Our guide said it was best to go out in the morning (we went around 10:00 am) and that you see fewer animals in the summer because it's so hot. The airboat ride was lots of fun, and the guide was very friendly. Afterward, we saw a demonstration with Jeff and some gators in an enclosed area. At first, I thought this would be terrible; I thought Jeff would be a testosterone-filled "gator wrestler." Boy was I wrong!!! All of the gators respond to their names when Jeff calls to them, and then Jeff called to one gator and HE GOT OUT OF THE WATER AND APPROACHED HIM. IT WAS AMAZING. Jeff rubbed the gator's head, body, and tail, and the gator clearly loved it!!! Of course, Jeff explained that these gators trust him and that this wasn't typical behavior. But I learned that gators are not aggressive towards humans like crocodiles are. It was only 75 degrees that day, so they were unable to feed them (it needs to be warmer for them to digest their food). but Jeff said that when he feeds that particular gator, he wags his tail like a dog! You can hold little Snappy for $3, and I really enjoyed it. He's fairly docile and really soft. Of course, he's an alligator and can certainly bite if you don't hold him properly. The sandwich shop is very very good. They have pulled pork, burgers, hot dogs, etc, and the prices are very reasonable. THEY TAKE CASH ONLY SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH CASH WITH YOU!! The gift shop next door does accept credit cards. Quite honestly, this little adventure was probably the highlight of my entire cruise! I would love to go back.
had a blast with my family. saw some gators and held snappy.defenitely better than the other parks.Better customer service
I love everything about this place. The airboat tour was great. The guide was knowledgeable and helpful. We saw 9 different gators on the tour! The "gator show" and tour of the were awesome. We even got to hold a two-year-old Gator named snappy!
This was a truly awful morning, at least six hours of my life which I will never get back. Granted it was August so naturally the wildlife is sheltering somewhere cool but the quality of offering and the staff eclipse the terrible product. The driver of the boat was supposed to stop and educate us on the Everglades and the native plants etc but he said nothing. Not one single thing. I learnt more from my Lonely Planet guide. The facilities are what you wold expect in the back blocks of middle America where the bathrooms are circa 1970 (and not in a good way) and the 'cafe' just sold ice creams and bad pizza and you sat on sticky brown vinyl booth seats. They say there is a wildlife park which you can walk through and an alligator display. Well, there was no other wildlife and the display had no time displayed, no sign, no nothing so we missed that too. The so-called snake exhibition had not one single snake in there. When I spoke to the manager about this and said how poor the whole experience was he tried to brush me off and was completely rude. The one of his staff tried to smooth over the whole snake experience by saying that the snakes were his responsibility but his wife had a difficult labour etc etc as if because I am a woman I was supposed to care. Overall there must be better companies out there. This one is truly appalling.
I went on an air boat ride with my husband today and once we were out on the water the trip leader told us we couldn't have umbrellas up during the boat ride. It was POURING RAIN (it's apparently rain season - who knew?). They had no form of covering, ponchos, nothing and NO ONE had told us to bring any precautions. By the end of the trip we were both soaked to our underwear and extremely uncomfortable. On top of all that WE DID NOT SEE ONE CROCODILE. At the end of our journey we asked for a refund because of the horrid nature of our trip. We were rudely refused. This was the worst vacation trip and worst waste of money I've experienced in my entire life.

Police officers follow large crocodile in aventura.
Andrea Torres , Digital Journalist
AVENTURA, Fla. – Police officers were on their midnight shift when they started to follow a crocodile.
It was early Friday morning, in Aventura, and the crocodile roamed through sidewalks and a roadside garden near Northeast 34 Avenue and North Country Club Drive.
Afraid the crocodile could injure someone, they followed until a professional trapper arrived to relocate the reptile away from humans and pets.

Blind 750-pound alligator seized from New York home, setting up showdown as owner vows to "fight them to get him back"
By Cara Tabachnick
Updated on: March 18, 2024 / 9:13 AM EDT / CBS News
A 750-pound, 11-foot-long alligator named Albert was seized from a New York home this week, setting the stage for a confrontation between the state's Department of Environmental Conservation and the animal's self-proclaimed owner.
The alligator lived in an in-ground pool in the backyard of owner Tony Cavallaro's Hamburg, New York home, and has multiple health problems, including blindness in both eyes and spinal complications, officials said . Cavallaro allegedly allowed members of the public "to get into the water to pet the unsecured alligator," according to the department.
Albert was seized on Wednesday in "the interest of public safety and the health, safety, and protection of the alligator," the department said. He has been placed with a specialized caretaker who can care for him while the damage was assessed.
Cavallaro refuted claims that he had not properly cared for the animal, writing in an online petition calling for Albert's return that he treated the alligator better "than most people take care of their kids." He also criticized the department for the way the seizure was managed, writing that 20 agents came to his home in full body armor and carrying weapons.
"It was like I was a gun dealing drug dealing criminal the way they acted. The scene that they made on my street is very disturbing and totally wrong," he wrote.
Officials said that Cavallaro had a license to own the alligator that expired in 2021. Cavallaro said that two years ago, the rules around owning an alligator had changed, and he attempted to renew his license in 2021 but was unable to contact the necessary authorities.
"I've had him 34 years and abided by all of them and renewed my permit annually as required," he wrote.
Cavallaro said that he plans to fight to regain custody of Albert.
"I ask it all of my friends and people who love Albert will support me when this date comes available and if you can join me at the Hamburg town court to help me fight them to get him back," he wrote.
A court date has not yet been announced.
