Aerosmith announces rescheduled 2024-25 farewell tour dates. Get tickets

No need to “Dream On” much longer.

Aerosmith has finally announced the rescheduled dates of their ‘Peace Out’ farewell tour with special guests The Black Crowes and Teddy Swims on select dates.

The 40-concert jaunt will take the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers to arenas all over North America from September 2024 up until February 2025.

Notable shows include stops at Newark, NJ’s Prudential Center on Saturday, Dec. 28 and New York’s Madison Square Garden on Feb. 23, 2025.

Their last gig is scheduled for Feb. 26, 2025 at Buffalo’s KeyBank Center .

This upcoming trek will be the second attempt at rescheduling the tour; Steven Tyler sustained vocal cord damage at a Sept. 9, 2023 concert in Long Island — just three shows into their run — and the band had to postpone indefinitely.

“All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled shows,” Aerosmith shared on Instagram .

If you haven’t gotten tickets yet and want to sing along to “Sweet Emotion,” “Walk This Way,” “Don’t Want To Miss A Thing” and so many more hits one last time, tickets can be scooped up for all ‘Peace Out’ concerts as soon as today.

Although inventory isn’t available on Ticketmaster until Friday, April 12, fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats before tickets are officially on sale.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

A complete calendar including all rescheduled ‘Peace Out’ tour dates, venues, and links to buy tickets can be found below.

The original Aerosmtih lineup won’t be fully intact on this run of concerts.

Yes, lead singer Steven Tyler, guitarist Joe Perry, bassist Tom Hamilton and rhythm guitarist Brad Whitford are slated to perform at all shows.

However, drummer Joey Kramer will be sitting this run of shows out to “focus his attention on his family and health” according to  AP News .

Kramer, 72, will be replaced by John Douglas who has drummed with the band since 2019.

Aerosmith got three shows deep into their ‘Peace Out’ Farewell Tour before postponing.

For a closer look, here’s what they played at a recent live show courtesy of  Set List FM :

01.) “Back in the Saddle”

02.) “Same Old Song and Dance”

03.) “Rag Doll”

04.) “Livin’ on the Edge”

05.) “Janie’s Got a Gun”

06.) “No More No More”

07.) “Cryin’”

08.) “Adam’s Apple”

09.) “Hangman Jury”

10.) “Seasons of Wither”

11.) “Movin’ Out”

12.) “Love in an Elevator”

13.) “Stop Messin’ Around” (Fleetwood Mac cover)

14.) “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing”

15.) “Rats in the Cellar”

16.) “Sweet Emotion”

17.) “Toys in the Attic”

18.) “Dream On”

19.) “Walk This Way”

On all dates except their opener when they’ll perform with Teddy Swims, Aerosmith will be joined by  The Black Crowes aka Rolling Stone’s “best new band of 1990.”

The band, known for mega hits “Hard To Handle” and “She Talks To Angels,” is also conducting a solo tour of their own this year including a show at New York’s Radio City Music Hall on April 27.

In 1973, the 25-year-old Tyler was given guardianship of 16-year-old Julia Holcomb so the two could live together.

After a tumultuous three-year relationship, the two broke up.

Nearly 50 years later, Holcomb — who now goes by Julia Misley — filed a lawsuit in December 2022. In the suit, she claimed Tyler sexually assaulted her, forced her to abort their child, and convinced her to drink and take drugs after he promised to serve as her guardian.

In the trial, Tyler alleged the relationship was consensual and had immunity because of his guardian status.

Legal experts have since said “caregiver immunity” does not exist if you sexually abuse the person you’ve taken in.

“The lawsuit came in the final days of California’s Child Victims Act, which temporarily lifted the statute of limitations for survivors of childhood sexual abuse to come forward with their allegations,” Consequence of Sound reported.

Jeanne Bellino, another minor that was sexually abused by Tyler in the 1970s, also filed a lawsuit against him; US District Judge Lewis Kaplan threw the case out this February because she “had waited too long to sue Tyler under a New York City law protecting victims of gender-motivated violence,” Reuters wrote.

“(Kaplan) said Bellino did not qualify for a two-year window to pursue claims that would otherwise extend beyond statutes of limitations, because she did not allege that Tyler’s conduct posed a “serious risk of physical injury.”

  • ‘Please Don’t Hang Out Here’

Portrait of Clio Chang

It’s a warm Tuesday in early spring and the sidewalk outside Carrie Bradshaw’s apartment, Perry Street masquerading as East 73rd, is packed. There are some older women and a few families among the group making this particular Sex and the City pilgrimage, and most seem to be European tourists. People take selfies and post videos to TikTok. A woman who lives across the street, noticing me noticing the scene, invites me to sit on her stoop. The address of Carrie’s on-again, off-again house is blurred on Google Maps and the stoop has long been roped off with a metal chain that reads “Private Property: No Trespassing,” but people come anyway. (Neighbors couldn’t help but wonder why the owner didn’t put in an actual gate.) Still, no one I talked to seemed to care that the show had just gone up on Netflix. The crowds were relentless anyway. “It’s the most popular place in New York City,” another neighbor tells me.

But had Gen Z discovered 66 Perry as they may (or may not have ) discovered the show on its latest streaming home? (Max and Prime have long had the series — to say nothing of cable syndication.) After stopping a number of young-looking fans who turn out to be cuspy millennials, I finally find Olivia Manzanares, who is 25 and visiting the stoop from San Francisco. “I don’t think anyone new is watching,” she says. She first got into the show six years ago. “It’s my same college friends who have always watched.” But, she adds as a kind of caveat: “I don’t really talk to younger people.” (At this point, the owner of Carrie’s house leans out the window and says: “Please don’t hang out here. Real people live here.”)

A ten-minute walk away at Jefferson Market Library, where Miranda and Steve get married, I asked two older men volunteering at the garden whether they’d seen any kind of increase in crowds. They are confused by my question; the online discourse has understandably, and mercifully, not reached them. They say they wouldn’t be able to tell anyway. “We wouldn’t know why anyone is here,” one tells me.

Erin Miller, from On Location Tours, has been offering a three-hour Sex and the City jaunt since 2001, and it now runs from the Plaza (where Carrie asks why Mr. Big didn’t marry her) to Buddakan (the restaurant where Carrie and Mr. Big have their rehearsal dinner the night before Mr. Big doesn’t marry her). They see a steady stream of bachelorette parties, Miller says, but her clientele trends a little older — it’s usually women in their 30s to 50s paying $66 to board a charter bus making cupcake and cosmo stops. There are early signs of change. “We’ve been starting to see more people in their early to late 20s,” she says.

Whenever a show gets signs of a new life, On Location will give a heads up to stops on the tour that they might soon be facing an influx of people. The warmer weather and the Netflix release are something like a double whammy in the business: More viewers and peak season for tourism means more buses filling up. Miller says she’s already planning to talk to ONieal’s, which is Scout, the bar run by Miranda’s now-ex-husband, Steve, and invested in by Carrie’s three-time ex, Aidan, and Magnolia Bakery, which is Magnolia Bakery, to warn them.

But the people working at Magnolia don’t seem to need warning. The tourists milling around outside are nothing, they tell me — things get much worse on the weekends and holidays. It’s a lot of attention to hang on a 30-second appearance from 24 years ago, but it’s been continuous. When I ask if they are afraid that even more people will flock to the store, one Gen-Z employee seems skeptical that it would really attract that many young viewers. “I honestly don’t think Gen Z will be into Sex and the City ,” she says. “Either the original or the reboot.” I try to ask her a follow-up, but more customers are streaming in. There is no time to talk.

Around Lubyanskaya Ploschad and Novaya Ploschad

Lubyanka fsb building.

Lubyanka FSB Building (June 2013)

The large orange and yellow neo-baroque building on Lubyanskaya Ploschad is the infamous Lubyanka building which has been home to the various incarnations of the Soviet and Russian security services. The building dates from the end of the 19th century and was originally used as the headquarters of an insurance company. This all changed after the Revolution when it became the headquarters of the Cheka, the feared secret police, later known as the NKVD and more famously as the KGB. The building was renovated and extended in the 1940s under the architect Aleksey Schusev. The building was also used as a prison where prisoners were held, tortured and even killed during the years of Soviet repression. Today the building remains the headquarters of the Russian security services, now known as the Federal Security Services (FSB). The roundabout outside the building is now empty as the statue of the Cheka's founder - Feliks Dzerzhinsky - which once stood here was famously pulled down in 1991. Today it can be found at the Muzeon Sculpture Park.

Breaking news, homeless nyc migrant who ‘swiped’ historic fdny boat freed without bail — immediately strikes again: sources.

Boat Boy is back at it — and they can’t even ship him home.

The homeless migrant who was busted joyriding on a historic FDNY fireboat and then swiping a sailboat for another leisurely ride was released without bail Friday — only to immediately try to climb aboard an even bigger ship in Manhattan, according to sources, who said immigration officials’ hands are tied.

“Welcome to New York,” said Eric Fischer, vice president of Friday’s ship, the Frying Pan.

Juan Hernandez, 22, of Ecuador was set free by Judge Marva Brown on Friday morning after allegedly taking the former FDNY-owned vessel John J. Harvey on a wild journey down the Hudson River early Thursday before swiping a sailboat in Chelsea for another jaunt.

Juan Hernandez in a hoodie on the deck of the FDNY fireboat, early Thursday morning

By noon Friday, the alleged boat bandit was back on the street and trying to get onboard the Frying Pan — a 133-foot lightship that boasts a popular floating restaurant at Pier 66, according to workers and owners.

A bar worker on the ship said he confronted Hernandez after spotting him trying to slip through a gate onto the barge.

The migrant was wearing khakis and a black hoodie with an orange logo on the back at the time.

“I was like, ‘What the f–k are you doing here?’ ” said the worker, identified only as Mario.

“I told him to go away. He started talking s–t, and he ran away.”

Angela Krevey, co-owner of Pier 66 Maritime, said the wannabe first mate claimed he left his passport on the bright red vessel, which is permanently docked at Pier 66.

Observers said Hernandez may have mistaken the Frying Pan for the fire boat because of where it was and its color.

Alleged Manhattan ship thief Juan Hernandez, 22, is now accused of trying to climb aboard yet another boat Friday.

“The seafaring thief was back,” she said.

“He was very belligerent. … He demanded to come on to the barge.

“We called the police. The police said they couldn’t do anything because he’s a free man,” she said — describing the repeated boat-centric incidents as baffling.

“There is no passport on board,” she added.

The accused boat thief allegedly took the John J. Harvey fireboat for a joyride Thursday.

It wasn’t immediately clear if Hernandez would be charged in connection to the incident Friday.

“If he was charged with two counts of grand larceny, why was he released from jail?” Krevey said of Hernandez’s illicit maritime excursions Thursday. “I don’t get this city, I really don’t.

“I want my city back,” she said.

Krevey said she’s worried that Hernandez is off his rocker and might try to set sail yet again.

“If he thinks his passport is on board he might come back again, and that’s what we’re afraid of. He could come back with more people,” she said.

Gate

“I don’t know if he’s mentally stable.”

“I would like a restraining order. But why do we have to pay for a lawyer to get a restraining order on a criminal thief?” she said. “It’s very disconcerting that he was let out.”

Fischer of the Frying Pan said workers recognized Hernandez from media reports about his nautical bust Thursday.

Never miss a story.

“We thought this would just be a one-day news story. [We] wouldn’t imagine he would get out on two grand larcenies, but here we are,” Fischer said.

He was referencing the state’s soft-on-crime bail reform laws , which in this case mandated that the judge release Hernandez without bail because his crimes were considered non-violent.

Hernandez is believed to have entered the US illegally through El Paso, Texas, in 2022.

After being nabbed, he allegedly skipped out on a hearing in immigration court in Boston at some point and ended up in the Big Apple, law enforcement sources have said.

He was charged Thursday with two counts of grand larceny after floating on the 130-foot fireboat, then getting stuck and jumping onto a J/80 sailboat owned by the Hudson River Community Sailing School.

Since he was sprung without bail, he ended up on the street again.

New York judges have a “non-cooperation agreement” with federal immigration authorities at ICE as per state regulations, meaning the jurists can’t hold migrants such as Hernandez for federal authorities even after such arrests, sources said.
