I’ve been to the safari tea rooms three times now, it definitely won’t be my last either!! Always great service, the staff are lovely, I always have the afternoon tea which is fantastic and great value for money

This was a birthday prezzie from my work buddies, and what a perfect present it was. I had the Safari Afternoon Tea which was a sandwich of choice, I went with prawn Marie rose, salad, coleslaw, crisps, a scone with jam and clotted cream, a meringue with cream and strawberries and a slab of homemade cake of your choice, I had bakewell cake. My husband had a sandwich and that came with salad, crisps and coleslaw. We had a pot of tea each and it was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience, even down to the lovely surprise birthday banner on the window above our table. I am definitely going to recommend to everyone, to go along and sample the food as it was delicious. Thank you for making my birthday treat so special

Excellent stop on dog walk for a break, sat outside with the dog and had a lovely toastie and pot of tea, all freshly made. Price is really good too and people very friendly.

Went here for breakfast after a friend told me about it. This is definitely a hidden gem. Considering everything is made and served on a barge, it was faultless. The food the service the atmosphere, we absolutely loved it. This was the first of many more visits as there is so much more on the vast menu to try.

A beautiful narrow boat on Droylsden Marina, lovely decor and atmosphere! Friendly staff and a fab breakfast, highly recommend a visit. Would be wise to book on a weekend.

Booked a table for afternoon tea for mother's birthday. The afternoon tea was gorgeous. Lovely, fresh and well presented. Staff was extremely friendly and very welcoming. Mentioned it was mother's birthday and they put balloons and banners up for her. Will visit again.

Discovered this great little narrow boat cafe whilst walking the dog on the canal. Booked a table for Sunday breakfast. The hosts gave us a warm welcome and took our order quickly and efficiently. We opted for the full English breakfast, I like the idea that you can choose your own ingredients. The breakfast was served up quickly and was absolutely delicious, couldn't fault it. At £12 for both of us, it's very reasonable. We're going to try the afternoon tea on our next visit. It's also dog friendly.

“Highly recommended” Review of Safari Narrowboat Tearoom

We came here for breakfast and had 2 specials (English breakfast including toast and tea). The food was very good and great value too at just £5 each. The service was good and friendly, and the barge is really quaint and quirky. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely return. Highly recommended.

Went here for the first time after walking past with dog ...went for breakfast and would definitely go again ...love how qwerty it is and if you go ..please book as it's mostly busy

I have been here twice one for Afternoon Tea and once for breakfast. Both superb visits. Staff are friendly, food is simple yet tasty, surroundings are quaint and it is good value.
