The mansion is located in Rockford Hills , an affluent residential neighborhood in Los Santos , San Andreas . It is bordered by West Eclipse Boulevard , Portola Drive , Edwood Way and Rockford Drive . The house first appears in the mission given to Franklin Clinton by Simeon Yetarian , Complications .

This is Michael 's primary residence. The house was given to Michael after making an "off-the books" deal with FIB agent Dave Norton in 2004 . The house is built in the Spanish Renaissance style, a style that is very popular in Beverly Hills .

The property contains a pool, hot-tub, and tennis court, where Michael can play tennis against his wife . Attached to the house is a two-car garage. The interior is made up of three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs; however, the bathroom across from Tracey 's bedroom is inaccessible to the player. There is also a large living room, kitchen, and doors to garage/outside downstairs. There is a skylight above the stairs inside the house that, oddly, cannot be seen from the outside. The living room contains a blue yoga ball that can be moved around.

Regardless of which protagonist the player is playing as (Michael, Franklin or Trevor ) at the moment, the gate will open for the protagonist. If Trevor or Franklin fires a weapon or rockets at Michael's mansion, Michael will usually call or text them and angrily tell them to stop shooting/firing rockets at his house. This can also happen on other safehouses by getting a call from Franklin or Trevor. While inside the mansion, Michael will be unable to use weapons, except when wanted by the police or playing the mission Meltdown .

Whenever Michael enters the house, he will shout a variety of random lines saying he is home. A quote often used when he enters the house is "Honey I'm home!", or "Hey, big daddy's home as if anyone gives a shit." and many more. During the period when the house is empty, Michael will ask if anyone is home, or simply remark that he'll "never get used to the silence". After completing Reuniting the Family , the comments tend to be more optimistic, and he might remark "Big daddy, in the house!", "Daddy's back, bitches!", or "Hey, your dad's back!".

Each time Michael appears in the house, certain family members will appear. For example, there will be times Michael will enter the house and find Amanda in the kitchen drinking , sunbathing outside near the pool or doing Yoga , or relaxing on the couch inside. The next time Michael appears in the house, Amanda might not be around, instead, Jimmy De Santa might be in his room. However, Tracey De Santa very rarely appears in the house; when she does however, she will often be found sitting on the staircase leading upstairs or on the couch. If Michael approaches her, the player has the option of giving her $50 when she asks for money . At other times, Tracey can be heard having sex in her room behind a locked door. Following the Reuniting the Family mission, Tracey will most often be found in her room, either studying or talking to a friend on the phone. On occasion, it is possible to walk in on Amanda in the bedroom making use of a vibrator, which she proceeds to throw at Michael.

The radio station playing inside the mansion is Lowdown FM . The house is said to be protected by a security system , though both Franklin and Trevor were able to get inside undetected in the missions Complications and Fame or Shame respectively.

In the mission Daddy's Little Girl , Tracey reveals that Michael's house was used to shoot a pornographic movie the previous year without Michael's knowledge.

Other activities that can be done on the property include yoga , watching TV, accessing the Internet, smoking from Jimmy's bong , and drinking a glass of Amanda's green juice in the kitchen.

Interactions [ ]

When Michael is in his house, he may find his family and the house cleaners in the middle of various activities. Some of these can spawn at the same time, like kids in their rooms and Amanda on the ground floor.

Michael can interact with them if the player presses right on the D-pad/E key when near them. When he does so, they will respond to him kindly or disrespectfully. Before the mission Reuniting the Family, Amanda usually responds to Michael with sarcastic remarks such as "I wonder where I went wrong". After Michael's family move back in, the tone of the conversations becomes a lot more positive (and even romantic). Jimmy usually responds respectfully to his father. If Michael interacts with Tracey, however, she will not respond. The house maid and and the gardener do not respond when interacted with since Michael usually tells them "Keep doing what you're doing".

Franklin and Trevor can interact with them as well. If Franklin interacts with Amanda, they will usually greet each other kindy. If Trevor interacts with Amanda before the mission Did Somebody Say Yoga, they will also kindly greet each other. After the family moves back in, they will insult each other. Jimmy will not respond to Franklin but will respond to Trevor. Trevor will insult Jimmy for his appearance while Jimmy makes an excuse as a response. Tracey will not respond to either Franklin or Trevor; Franklin will greet her but Trevor will insult her. However, Franklin or Trevor cannot interact with the house cleaners.

The following is an incomplete list of some interactions and events that may happen in the mansion (some of these occur during character transition scenes):

• Amanda sitting on the couch, wearing a bathrobe and cucumber mask.
• Amanda sitting on the couch, drifting in and out of consciousness, drunk on wine and downers (Tracey may be seen sleeping on the couch nearby).
• Amanda in the kitchen, drinking whisky, stating her aim is to become drunk enough to share Michael's bed.
• Amanda in the kitchen, complaining about her fruit drink.
• Amanda in the dining area, talking to a friend over the phone. As Michael approaches her, she will hang up.
• Amanda going down the stairs when Michael enters, yelling at him that if he wants to know where she is, he just has to check his credit card statement. She gets out and go to her car .
• Amanda in her bedroom, masturbating with a Dildo , which she throws across the room when discovered.
• Amanda entering the house with shopping bags. She claims to Michael that she earned it and not to look at her like that.
• Jimmy in the kitchen, looking for food in the refrigerator due to catching the "munchies" from smoking pot; he and Michael trade insults.
• Jimmy in his bedroom, playing video games and insulting other players.
• Jimmy locked in his room, telling a friend he could "lose weight" if he wanted to.
• Jimmy sitting in his room, doing bong rips and commenting about how the weed is "serious bud". One variant has him accidentally inhaling "the whole chamber" and choking.
• Jimmy in the driveway complaining about not having a car and riding off on a Bicycle or taking Tracey's Issi if present.
• Jimmy may sometimes be standing in the middle of the street, next to his Whippet Race Bike in front of the entrance to the driveway. He will be frozen in place and will not react unless he is bumped into, or harmed, after which he will mount his bike and ride away.
• Jimmy may sometimes be standing in the middle of the road, near the south-west corner of the property, blocking traffic. If the player parks near him, he'll get in the car and drive it to the house, where he'll complain about the lack of a car and walk inside.
• Tracey on the couch, watching TV.
• Tracey on the couch, sleeping.
• Tracey on the couch, crying about Michael and Amanda fighting again, or about her own poor choice in men.
• Tracey in the TV room, playing a dancing-exercise game.
• Tracey sitting on the stairs, drunk or stoned, whereupon Michael can give her $50. (She will sometimes ask if Michael has any cocaine).
• Tracey in her room, talking to a friend on the phone.
• Tracey locked in her room, having sex.
• Tracey and an unidentified male in her room, starting to make out. If Michael watches, she will angrily slam the door. Soon, they can be heard having sex.
• Tracey in the bathroom, puking into the toilet.
• Tracey locked in the bathroom, doing drugs (Michael can view her from outside the bathroom window).
• Tracey walking to her car, asking Michael to put gas in it when she will get back because she’s about to run out.

• Eva washing the walls after Michael killed the Merryweather mercenaries . (Only after Michael goes to the house right after finishing Meltdown ).
• Eva doing the dishes in the kitchen. She can ask Michael if they have a party, because there’s a lot of glasses to wash.
• Carlos using a leaf blower in front of the house.
• Carlos trying to start a lawnmower in front of the house.
• Carlos cleaning the pool with a net.
• Carlos smoking next to the tennis court.
• A blue exercise ball can be found in the living room; if pushed outside into the pool, it will become buoyant to the extent that Michael can stand on top of it without falling into the pool.
• Amanda, Jimmy, and Tracey sitting around the table in the kitchen, Tracey is on her phone, Jimmy on his laptop and Amanda is reading a novel : none of us talk to each-other.

Only after Reuniting the Family:

• Amanda in the kitchen, drinking fruit juice.
• Amanda outside the house, practicing Yoga .
• Jimmy in the kitchen, creating a job resume on his computer; if the player looks closely at the screen, they will see a Lifeinvader profile of Niko Bellic .
• Jimmy in his bedroom, playing video games quietly.
• Jimmy in his bedroom, exercising.
• Tracey in her bedroom, studying on her computer.
• Tracey in her bedroom, talking to a friend on the phone.
• Amanda, Jimmy, and Tracey watching TV. Tracey will insist that it's a good show and wants to continue watching, while Jimmy rarely speaks and asks to play video games, which Tracey refuses. Amanda frequently looks amazed at how bad the show is and occasionally suggests they watch something else.
• Amanda, Jimmy, and Tracey sitting around the table in the kitchen, discussing relationships; Amanda claims she'll "miss this" when the children move out, and Jimmy claims he will hire a maid when he gets his own house.
• The family sitting in the kitchen, talking about ordering a pizza.
• Amanda and Tracey entering the house with shopping bags.

Bugs/Glitches [ ]

• Early in the game, some players may witness Michael's family members standing on top of furniture, notably on the sofa and kitchen surfaces. They will also somehow start cloning. Leaving the room and going back will result more clones spawning. Also, random pedestrians (such as construction workers) will be walking around the house and leaving. Abusing the glitch will cause the game to freeze.
• Possibly due to a spawn glitch, Michael's Tailgater will sometimes spawn in the middle of the road outside the Mansion's driveway entrance, regardless of where Michael left it.
• If Michael sits on the couch while members of his family are also seated, they will sometimes vanish from the house.
• If a car pulls out of the driveway, or if there is a void spot, a vehicle of the family may randomly spawn.
• It is also possible to do the glitch by parking a car in front of the garage (do not exit the vehicle), switch to another character and switch back. (Tested on PS3 )
• Another way to get in the house as Franklin or Trevor is to simply enter at the same time as the family members (for example, Jimmy will most often go inside after finishing his cycling exercise), and once this is done, it will work the same way as the aforementioned glitch.
• Michael's mansion can be accessed in Grand Theft Auto Online . Park a car next to the garage and access the roof by climbing on top of the car. When on top of the roof of the garage, jump on to the small metal balcony (this may take several attempts), open the protagonist's phone and choose "job list". Enter a job and then exit. When the protagonist respawns they should be inside the mansion.
• In the interior of the house, there is a skylight above the stairs, but if the player goes onto the roof, no skylight is to be found in the exact spot. This is most likely a developer oversight.
• When viewing the fountain from inside the house, either through windows or doorways, the fountain will not be spraying water, however, water will still be moving around in the fountain as if it is.
• Sometimes when switching to Michael and he is at his house, a couple seconds after switching, the player may hear an explosion in the distance outside of the house. This is actually a plane that has spawned incorrectly in mid air (usually upside down) and ends up crashing into the streets.

Changes in time [ ]

• After completing the mission Did Somebody Say Yoga?, Michael's family will leave him and the house will slowly become untidy. At first, pizza boxes and Burger Shot bags can be found scattered around the house with gnats flying around them, and picture frames will be dropped on the floor. After a while, alcohol bottles will appear and cereal boxes in the kitchen. Multiple dressers and drawers will be opened and the flowers on the table will slowly die. The player can also find "Fuck you very much" written in lipstick on the mirror in Michael's bathroom, which may have been left by Amanda or Eva. Later in the game, copies of Chains of Intimacy will appear around the house. After the mission Reuniting the Family, the house returns to normal with Eva appearing again.
• After the family moves out for the first time, there's a note on the refrigerator that says "I hope you choke on this".
• After Bury the Hatchet , a pair of FlyUS tickets and an accompanying folder can be found on a small table near the staircase at the front of the house. It is possible that these tickets are Michael's plane tickets from the same mission. A postcard reading "Greetings from North Yankton" can also be found resting against the lamp, on the same table as the tickets.
• Before Did Somebody Say Yoga? a "Daddy alcohol count" will be present and update each time Michael drinks alcohol.
• Between "Did Somebody Say Yoga?" and "Reuniting The Family", the blackboard has "Yoga", "Meditation." and "Centeredness" written on it.
• After Reuniting the Family it will read "Fat Camp" and "College Prep".
• After completing the mission Meltdown , a Meltdown film poster and a bottle of champagne will appear next to the door of Michael's bedroom.
• If the player chooses to kill Michael for Devin Weston , "For Sale" signs owned by Windsor Real Estate will appear outside the house and Michael's family will not be present, suggesting that they have moved out to get away from Franklin and possibly Trevor. [1] This is supported by Amanda emailing Franklin and telling him to rot in Hell.

• The De Santa Residence is based on a mansion located at 601 N Alpine Drive in Beverly Hills, though the architecture has been altered. [2]
• Multiple copies of a book titled "Dadanaissance" can be found on the shelves at the rear end of the living room. The title is a portmanteau of "Dada" (a European avant-garde arts movement in the 20th century) and "Renaissance" (a term commonly used to refer to the European Renaissance in the Early Modern era). This implies that one of the De Santas (possibly Michael) has an interest in the arts.
• Another interesting book in the house is titled "Mountebank Gallery". The same book can be found in Franklin's Vinewood Hills safehouse . It is likely connected to the Mountebank Gallery, an art gallery on the corner of Hawick Avenue and Power Street . A mountebank is "a person who deceives others, especially in order to trick them out of their money".
• A painting in Michael's house is signed "R North", a clear reference to Rockstar North .
• In the GTA V Beta version of Marriage Counseling , Michael mentions he paid $4.5 million for the house.
• The mains power plugs are installed upside down.
• Between Did Somebody Say Yoga? and Reuniting the Family , on Tracey's desk, there is a Fame or Shame ticket with the date 12/04/2013.

Due to factors beyond our control, it is with deep regret that we have to announce that the Trip The Switch event which was to take place in Ipswich on July 3rd has been cancelled today based on advice from Queensland Health.

With the unfolding Covid-19 situation in Sydney and Queensland where both governments have imposed new restrictions and/or lockdowns due to the increased risk of transmission with the Delta Variant and Alpha Variant, tough restrictions have been implemented that prevent people from the Greater Sydney Metropolitan Area, where key band and crew members from several of the bands appearing at the event live, from entering Queensland.

The organisers, artists and technicians had applied for Travel Exemptions for these key personnel to be able to perform at Trip The Switch and had provided a detailed substantial Covid-19 management plan for them. However, given the unfolding and expanding pandemic fears in Sydney and Brisbane, the department saw the risk of transmission as potentially too great.

Because of this, the organisers have made the difficult decision to cancel the event.

Ticketholders will be contacted by Ticketmaster during Monday June 28th regarding refunds - please do not contact them before that as they will not be in a position to process refunds until Monday - and we urge anyone who had booked accommodation or made travel arrangements to cancel them today or as soon as possible.

We are sorry to disappoint our ICEHOUSE fans and friends - the band looks forward to performing again whenever that may be possible and to seeing you there.

It is with great regret that ICEHOUSE announces that, due to Victoria’s current Covid-19 restrictions on gatherings, the performance at Bendigo’s Ulumbarra Theatre, scheduled for next Thursday June 24th will have to be cancelled. 

Yesterday's announcements from the Victorian Government severely limit the number of patrons who can attend a venue and these mean that it isn’t possible for the previously Sold Out event to take place. 

As ICEHOUSE has no touring plans at present where another date could be set, the band and promoter, Regional Touring, reluctantly agreed today to cancel the performance and refund ticketholders. 

Everyone involved is saddened by having to do so and apologise for any inconvenience caused to the band’s fans and supporters as well as the local businesses, technical crew and other staff who are affected. 

Ulumbarra Theatre box office will be in touch tomorrow (Friday June 18th) from 10am to process refunds to all ticket holders. There is no need to contact the venue directly.

ICEHOUSE looks forward to a time when the band can get back to perform in Bendigo.

The By The C show in Cronulla, NSW will be an assigned seated event, which was part of the agreement with the NSW Health Department. If you have concerns regarding the seating assignment, please contact Zaccaria Concerts ([email protected]) and/or Ticketmaster.

The 12,598-square-foot French Normandy-style home is perched on 2,698 acres in the Santa Ynez Valley, northeast of Los Angeles. The ranch, which has been re-christened Sycamore Valley Ranch, comes with six-bedrooms, a four-acre lake with waterfall, a pool house, an outdoor barbecue, three guest houses, a tennis court, and a 5,500-square-foot movie theater and stage. The price tag in 2006 was $100 million. In 2017, however, Michael Jackson's former home was on the real estate market again at a new asking price: $67 million.

Michael Jackson, who would have turned 60 today, bought the sprawling estate in Santa Barbara County, California in 1987. He named it Neverland, after the fictional world in Peter Pan where kids never grow up and decked it out with amusement park rides, a petting zoo, and other attractions to entertain visiting kids. However, Jackson ceased to call Neverland home after his 2005 molestation trial. Neverland almost went under the hammer in 2008 after Jackson failed to repay a $24 million loan on the estate. However, in 2009, before his death, he sold it to Colony Capital for $22.5 million.

In the latest episode of BTS ’s docu-series  BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star, V  gave fans an excusive peek inside his home.

Fans were able to see the full layout of his house, from his living room to the kitchen.

Billionaire fights to dock his boat on water behind his house. His 164-foot boat, that is.

The love of the water, and a mega-yacht to enjoy it, is putting one resident at odds with village of north palm beach leaders..

For some people, the ultimate Florida lifestyle is a waterfront house , a private dock and a boat parked next to it. But what if that boat is a mega-yacht , and the mega-yacht stretches 164 feet?

That's the conundrum facing the Village of North Palm Beach.

This tiny community in northern Palm Beach County, with only 13,000 full-time residents, has an identity so tied to the water that a ship's steering wheel is the village's emblem.

But it's that love of the water that is putting one resident at odds with village leaders.

For the past several years, homeowner Michael Bozutto has been battling the village for the right to park his 164-foot Westport, dubbed Honey, behind a home he owns at 932 Shore Drive.

The house, built in 1961, is a one-story, ranch-style property with three bedrooms on a half-acre lot. Bozzuto paid $840,247 for the house in 2014, according to Palm Beach County property records.

Lawsuit rooted in dispute over where to dock mega-yacht

What makes this plain house special is its location. It's on a rare corner bordered on the north and east by navigable waters that provide access to the Atlantic Ocean via the Lake Worth Inlet. The east-facing dock is large enough to accommodate Bozzuto's motor yacht.

Since Bozutto bought Honey for an undisclosed sum a decade ago, he mostly has parked it at the Old Port Cove Marina, near Tiger Woods' 155-foot showy mega-yacht, ironically dubbed Privacy.

More recently, Bozzuto has wanted to park Honey alongside his Shore Drive house, one of four houses he owns in the village. While Bozzuto keeps some personal property at the Shore Drive house, he lives at a house he owns at Harbour Isles Court.

Village officials warned Bozzuto he can't park Honey at 932 Shore Drive because boats can only be parked on docks behind houses that are occupied by the homeowner.

But village rules do not define the word "occupied." For instance, the rules do not state that occupied means the house is a residence where the owner lives. Village rules also contain no restrictions on the size of boats that can be kept at private docks.

After years of pushing back against what he believes are fuzzy rules, Bozzuto in March filed a lawsuit against the village.

He alleged the municipality is illegally depriving him of his property rights because nothing in the village code prevents him from mooring Honey at his house. He is asking a Palm Beach County Circuit Court judge to rule that he has a constitutional right to dock Honey there.

Gregory Coleman, Bozzuto's West Palm Beach attorney, said the village has plenty of waterfront homes with yachts parked behind them. But Coleman said the village is illegally blocking Bozzuto from docking Honey at his house because the village is bending to pressure from a handful of neighbors who think the boat is too big.

The selective enforcement is wrong, said Coleman, a former president of the Florida Bar.

"He's a very under-the-radar guy who doesn't cause anybody any problems," Coleman said of Bozzuto. "He pays his property taxes, and he wants to be left alone by the village of North Palm Beach. Unfortunately, they are singling Mike out."

Neither Leonard Rubin, the village's longtime attorney, nor Village Manager Chuck Huff responded to requests for comment.

Eric Stettin, a Fort Lauderdale-based attorney who is representing the village in the Bozzuto lawsuit, said he could not comment on pending litigation.

What good is a man's castle if he can't have a boat in his moat?

Coleman's lawsuit describes the conflict as a battle over property rights, but real estate and yachting experts say it's also a sign of the times.

As wealthy new residents pour into the county wanting all the perks of the Sunshine State, they want a boat to go along with their waterfront homes and golf club memberships. Some longtime residents fear Palm Beach County is turning into a playground for billionaires, to the detriment of everyday people who also want to live in sunshine and peace.

This conflict between Old Florida and new money is an ever-present tension, but even seasoned yacht brokers say they've never seen interest in luxury yachts quite as strong as it is now.

"What we've seen in the marketplace right after COVID in the yachting industry, and especially the superyacht segment, is the most incredible growth ever seen in the history of yachting to date," said Shannon McCoy, a luxury yacht advisor and broker with Worth Avenue Yachts in Palm Beach.

"A lot of people are moving here with serious money," added Pascal Savoy, U.S. managing director of Camper & Nicholsons International yacht brokers in Fort Lauderdale.

While in the past Palm Beach County was not considered lively enough for some buyers, Savoy said the county's growing sophistication is putting it on the map in a way never seen before.

"It's a mini-Monaco for us," Savoy said.

Prices for mega-yachts can range from $18 million to $60 million, or many times that, for the largest and most decked-out mega-yachts, Savoy said.

While some yachts can be glitzy, a 164-foot Westport is considered a more low-profile boat, Savoy added.

Michael Bozzuto's interests: Houses, boats and philanthropy

Bozzuto is no newcomer to North Palm Beach. He's been a resident of the village for 20 years.

He is the billionaire owner of a family-owned supermarket wholesaler in Connecticut, and an investor and philanthropist who likes to collect houses and yachts, Coleman said.

In addition to the four North Palm Beach houses and several yachts he owns, Bozzuto in February paid a whopping $31.1 million for a house in the Town of Palm Beach Shores. The house, which has two docks, sits just north of the Palm Beach/Lake Worth Inlet.

Coleman said there is plenty of room for other boaters to navigate the waterway when Honey is parked at the Shore Drive house in North Palm Beach. And while other people may not have as large a yacht, there are other sizeable yachts parked on docks behind other North Palm Beach homes, too, he added.

At a 2017 village council meeting, then-Mayor Darryl Aubrey commented on the issue, according to the complaint.

"When I didn't live here full time, I had a boat sitting in my dock, I was gone nine months of the year. I don't see how you can say that someone has to be in a residence year-round, seems to be some interpretation of occupant, there would be an enormous number of violations," Aubrey said.

Another member of the village council asked if the village had a definition now, the complaint said.

Rubin, the village attorney, replied: "No, we don't," according to the lawsuit.

Palm Beach County's waterways run deep, and they are popular

The yacht docking dispute is particularly timely, given the scarcity of dock space for boats of all sizes.

The most convenient place to park a boat is on the water behind a house, brokers say. But not every waterway or channel can accommodate the draft, or depth, of a mega-yacht.

However, the dock behind Bozzuto's Shore Drive house can.

Not only is the Westport not known for its deep hulls, but the waterway also is typical of northern Palm Beach County, which boasts deep water and easy access to the ocean via the Lake Worth Inlet, said Coleman, a lifelong boater.

"In Palm Beach County, they have deeper water, and it allows people to have larger yachts," Savoy agreed.

But not every waterway is deep enough for every boat.

McCoy said she specializes in helping advise potential yacht owners about the county's varied water depths before they buy a house, if they plan to dock their yacht behind it.

If yacht owners don't have a private dock, the other option is a marina. But marina space is hard to find, with many dock berths reserved for months in advance, McCoy said.

Despite the challenges of owning a boat and finding a place to dock it, yacht brokers say demand continues.

They see interest continuing from business executives moving here with their families as they relocate their companies to Palm Beach County. There's also a growing demand for yachts among female buyers, McCoy added.

They also see younger mega-yacht buyers, some even in their early 30s. This is in sharp contrast to the mostly older buyers in the past, Savoy said.

Palm Beach County may not be as go-go as Miami-Dade County when it comes to showy ships, but if interest continues, "it's coming," Savoy said. "You're going to attract bigger yachts."

Put another way: "No one needs a boat, but everyone needs a boat," McCoy said. "It's the ultimate lifestyle."

Michael Phelps strikes gold with new home — see where he'll spend retired life

Now that he’s officially retired from the summer games, Michael Phelps is joining the snowbirds with a mansion of his own in Scottsdale, AZ, a place known more for its golf courses than its pools.

The human fish had been training at nearby Arizona State University, TMZ reports , and plans to coach there.

Phelps paid a stroke over $2.5 million for the 6,000-square-foot home, which sits on nearly an acre and has 5 bedrooms, 6.5 baths and 4 fireplaces, including one in the master suite and one in the backyard loggia.

The home’s pool is gorgeous, with views of Camelback Mountain. It’s not big enough to fully show off your butterfly, but it’s perfect for cooling off with the family, which Phelps has already posted photos of on Instagram .

Crafted with European stone and imported hardwood floors, the home boasts a kitchen the size of some bungalows, with an eat-in marble center island and coffered ceilings with skylights.

If you’d rather lounge while you nosh, there’s a cozy sitting area just a few feet away, with a fireplace for toasting up on a winter evening or following a long swim.

Take a tour of Michael Jordan's Chicago mansion that's been on the market for 10 years and see why he can't sell it

• Michael Jordan's enormous house in the Chicago suburbs is still on the market after 10 years.
• He's cut the price nearly in half and tried various ways to sweeten the deal — like Air Jordans.

Michael Jordan's enormous house in Chicago is still on the market after 10 years.

Jordan has tried to sweeten the pot by cutting the price nearly in half and throwing in a complete set of Air Jordans with the purchase of the house. And yet, it remains unsold and he pays more than $100,000 in annual property taxes.

The house was originally listed for $29 million and has every bell and whistle you can think of. Some "over-improvements" and the house's location are making it hard to sell the property.

Below, we take a closer look at the house and why it's struggling to find a buyer. Most images are from footage provided by Concierge Auctions .

Michael Jordan's 56,000-square-foot, 7-acre compound in Highland Park, Illinois, looks massive even from the air.

Anyone who approaches from the ground can tell right away that this estate belongs to the legendary No. 23, Michael Jordan — and that might be what's keeping it from selling. "It's clearly his home," said Bruce Bowers of Bowers Realty Group, adding: "There's a lot of work that would have to be done to make it your own."

The price on the house has dropped several times and is now going for $14.9 million, or about $265 a square foot — that's a far cry from the original price of $517 a square foot. The exact price is $14,855,000, and the numbers in that price add up to 23 — Jordan's basketball jersey number.

The long drive from the gate and the full-grown trees ensure that the house has privacy.

Jordan had the house — and the surrounding property — built from scratch to his personal tastes.

The outdoor space proves to be spectacular. There's a tennis court ...

... an infinity pool with a grass island in the middle ...

... which lies in the center of a large patio ...

... and down on the lawn, there's a putting green.

The putting green is complete with Jordan Brand flag sticks.

There's also a pond stocked with fish.

While the outdoor space is sprawling and undoubtedly impressive ...

... the inside is equally spectacular. When guests first walk in the front door, they are greeted by this view, which includes a piano in the background.

The piano room doubles as one of many sitting rooms in the house.

And here's a look at another sitting area dubbed the "great room" — this isn't the only great room around the house, though.

Jordan's luxurious taste even shows itself in details like doorways. The set of doors seen below are from the original Playboy Mansion in Chicago.

They lead to a game room with a pool table.

Of course, since this is the former home of Michael Jordan, there is a full-court basketball court. It's the centerpiece of the house.

The court has the legend's name at both ends ...

... and the Jumpman logo at center court, which includes the names of his children — his daughter's name is out of view.

While guests wait for their turn on the court, they can hang out in this sitting area.

Moving along to the dining room, guests were able to eat at this "Baghdad table."

That grid seen on the tabletop is based on the streets of Baghdad.

Detailed eating areas are somewhat of a theme. Here we can see a beautiful skylight positioned perfectly over the kitchen table.

In one of the dining areas just off the kitchen, there is a large aquarium built into the wall.

The house has nine bedrooms ...

... and 19 bathrooms.

There is also a cigar room, which has been decorated intricately with a detailed ceiling.

Even the railing in the cigar room is ornate.

The cigar room also has plenty of card tables where we're guessing Jordan played some high-stakes poker games — he is known for his love of gambling, after all.

The home also features a full gym.

Jordan's Bulls teammates used to work out there every morning, according to an interview shared by Concierge Auctions.

Another luxurious part of Jordan's estate is the expansive wine cellar.

The library upstairs was said to be MJ's favorite room. It features a drop-down movie screen.

Between the house and the patio, there's another TV room with a 110-inch screen.

This area used to be an indoor pool. Jordan renovated it after he moved in and added sliding walls to both sides that can make the gathering room either indoor or outdoor depending on the mood and the weather.

There are plenty of media rooms throughout the house. Even the seemingly random nooks like this one below have TVs.

The property also boasts a three-bedroom guest house ...

... which has its own family room and kitchen.

MJ himself lived in the main house for 19 years.

The house comes fully furnished, although some of the pieces may be a tad dated.

Despite how awesome the house seems, it's been on the market since 2012. Jordan tried to auction the house in 2013, but the minimum bid of $13 million was never met.

Jordan said, "Many of the world's most desirable items are sold at auction, and Concierge Auctions is the hands-down leader when it comes to auctioning one-of-a-kind real estate."

MJ's estate remained unsold despite attempts to get creative, including marketing to wealthy people in basketball-crazed China.

In 2015, the agent working to sell the house at the time promised that the buyer would also receive every edition of Air Jordans in his or her size — but that didn't work either.

Adam Rosenfeld, of the luxury-real-estate startup Mercer Vine, told Marketwatch in 2016 that Jordan was likely struggling to sell the house because of all of the personalized customizations.

Rosenfeld said the house also just isn't in an area where wealthy celebs are looking for houses. Gail Lissner of Integra Realty Resources called the area "much more modest" than what Jordan's property suggests.

There is no need to worry about the house rotting while remaining unsold, though. The house is still occupied by staff who Jordan employed to keep it looking fresh.

Jordan is still paying a lot in property taxes. The annual bill is more than $130,000, and Zillow estimates that he has paid over $2.5 million in property taxes since he put it on the market in 2012.

One problem is that Jordan may feel his celebrity status adds value to the house, but, according to Stephen Shapiro of the Westside Agency, people do not pay more for a house just because somebody famous owned it.

"But you know who tends to think a property is worth more because a celebrity lived there?" Shapiro said. "The celebrity trying to sell it."

Another issue is the location. Most of the homes in this price range in this area are closer to Lake Michigan, a few miles east of Jordan's former house. "Buyers at that level in that area tend to want to be closer to the lake," Missy Jerfita of Berkshire Hathaway Homes Services told The Real Deal.

Since Jordan put his Chicago home on the market, he has since purchased a lakefront house in North Carolina in a golf-course community.

The house is in Cornelius, about a 30-minute drive from the Charlotte Hornets' arena — Jordan owns the NBA team. MJ purchased the house for $2.8 million after it was originally listed for $4 million.

Jordan also reportedly bought a house on a golf course in Jupiter, Florida, for $4.8 million in 2013 and spent $7.6 million on renovations.

He also owns a condo in downtown Charlotte, in the same building as Cam Newton. The condos reportedly go for between $1.5 and $3.5 million.

Most recently, Jordan listed his 10,000-square-foot home in Park City, Utah, for $7.5 million. Experts think it will likely sell faster than the Chicago compound.

He continues to wait for a buyer for the Chicago-area home. Of course, MJ is estimated to be worth $1.9 billion, so he can afford to wait for the right owner to come along on his old Chicago digs.
