The European club will be the first to visit Japan since the Covid-19 pandemic. Over the last two and a half years, the country has largely closed itself off to visiting teams and sporting events, but it is beginning to open up.
The 2020 Olympics were among the events impacted by the pandemic, with the Tokyo Games delayed by a year and the world swimming championships in Fukuoka, Japan, postponed until 2023.
However, Japan continued to hold matches in Asia's preliminary rounds for November's World Cup under strict restrictions as the Samurai Blue qualified for the World Cup in Qatar.
With PSG heading to Asia, fans will undoubtedly turn out in force to see some of the world's best. Here's everything we know about PSG's preseason tour movement.

About paris saint-germain (psg) tickets 2023/24, paris saint-germain info.
PSG once again won Ligue 1 but the 2022/23 season was not one of great joy for the Parisiens. It marked the final campaign for Lionel Messi in the French capital, with the Argentina legend lasting just two seasons in Ligue 1 .
Considering PSG boasted Messi and Kylian Mbappé, the two stars of the World Cup final, simply winning Ligue 1 in the last campaign was the minimum expected under Christophe Galtier.
The big disappointment, which clouded the campaign, was the Champions League Round of 16 defeat to Bayern Munich . The hunt for the biggest trophy in Europe continues.
The PSG team is flooded with world-class talent but it still remains chasing an elusive European title. Their goal is to make win Europe's top prize, but if they are serious about it, they must step up and show that they are not just a collection of superstars but a team to be feared.
Even though Paris Saint-Germain is one of the biggest clubs in the world of football today, the club had relatively modest beginnings in France. The club won its first trophy - the French Cup in 1982, followed by its first title in 1986.
During the 1990s, PSG won Ligue 1 for a second time, three French Cup titles, three French Super Cup titles, and the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1995/1996.
Since the club was acquired by Qatar State in 2011, the team has won nine league titles. The team is led by Sheikh Nasser al-Khalifi, the club's president and an increasingly influential European football official.
The economic support of Qatar has made Paris Saint-Germain a leading team in France, as well as a major club on an international scale.
PSG was recorded as the 11th richest team worldwide in 2018, according to Forbes. Its value in 2018 was $1,092bn, and its revenues were reported as €636m.
This support has enabled PSG to dominate the French league, and since 2011, the team has won 9 French Super Cups, 6 French Cups , and 6 League Cups . Additionally, the club showed good skills in European competition and consistently made it into the final stages of the Champions League; in the 2019/2020 season, the club lost to Bayern Munich at the final.

Outstanding stadium
Our tour walked through all the important rooms in the stadium, like the dressing room, the conference room, and, of course, the field itself. The route was well laid out, with lots of security to prevent people from going places they shouldn’t.
The stadium is outstanding. I Highly recommend it.
Lisa Q, Tripadvisor
My son loved it!
What a great tour. It was me, my wife, and my nine-year-old son. My son absolutely loved it. The fact that he could stay as long as he wanted to in the areas that appealed to him most was great. There is plenty of staff to assist if needed.
Caught the metro there and back and had no queues or issues with the tickets. The merchandise store across the road is very busy, so allow extra time for queuing to purchase!
Robin H, Tripadvisor
A must for football fans
Definitely worth a visit when visiting Paris if you are a football fan. You can either wait for a tour guide or look around yourselves. You get to go in the VIP area, pitchside, press room, and home team changing rooms (unfortunately, the changing rooms were closed when we went). If you are traveling via train, the closest metro station is Port de Saint-Cloud (Line 9, the yellow line), and it will only take you a 5-minute walk to the stadium. There’s also a shop just across the road.

Barcelona have already clocked up some miles this summer, having flown to Australia right after the 2021-22 campaign ended for a one-off match against the A-League Men All-Stars, which they won 3-2. They'll be starting their preseason tour closer to home with a short trip within Catalonia to play lower-league UE Olot. After that, they will be visiting the U.S. in late July with a preseason tour that so far encompasses two games against MLS sides and another two against European giants.
Barca will be facing Real Madrid in a Las Vegas Clasico before taking on Juventus as part of the Soccer Champions Tour. Xavi's side were then due to take on Jose Mourinho's Roma in their traditional curtain-raiser, the Joan Gamer Trophy match. However the supposed friendly against Jose Mourinho's team has become anything but after the Italian club withdrew from the fixture at short notice. With friction between the two parties mounting, Barca issued a strongly-worded statement that appeared to threaten their opponents with legal action over pulling out of the game "without reason." The have since drafted in Liga MX club Pumas to play the fixtures instead.

Diego Simeone's side then travel to Norway in order to face Manchester United three days later. The game is a repeat of last season's Champions League round-of-16 clash (which Atletico won 2-1 on aggregate), albeit with slightly lower stakes this time round.
Atleti will then fly back from Scandinavia to the south coast of Spain in order to take on fellow La Liga rivals Cadiz in the Ramon de Carranza Trophy.

PSG confirm pre-season Japan Tour for 2023
By antonio losada | jun 2, 2023.
As we already reported last March , PSG has made the official announcement of their plans to embark on a new tour of Japan as part of their summer preseason.
The Parisian club will organize three friendly matches in the Asian country, including a rematch against Cristiano Ronaldo -led Al-Nassr from Saudi Arabia . Both teams already played each other following the World Cup when PSG visited the Middle Eastern country last January.
This summer, PSG will return to Japan, replicating their initiative from the previous year. Last preseason, Paris Saint-Germain already toured the Asian nation when they trained and got ready for the now-ending 2022/23 campaign.
2023 #PSGJapanTour2023 🇯🇵 pic.twitter.com/l2C0OaGVgT — PSG Japan (@PSGJapan) June 2, 2023
While the scheduling of the Trophée des Champions (PSG will face French Cup winners Toulouse ) remains uncertain, the reigning French champions will fine-tune their game in Asia with games scheduled to take place at the end of July and the start of August .
"After the successful tour last summer, the Paris Saint-Germain football team will once again visit Japan to play three friendly matches in Osaka and Tokyo , further solidifying the club's bond with its Japanese fans."
The 2023 summer tour is scheduled from Jul. 22nd to Aug. 2nd , during which the team will play games against Al-Nassr (Jul. 25th) and Cerezo Osaka (Jul. 28th and ) in Osaka, and then clash with Inter Milan (Aug. 1st) in Tokyo to wrap up their Asian tour.
While PSG and Cristiano Ronaldo will meet once again after doing so last January, the French team won't bring Lionel Messi along with them as the Argentine world champion will already be plying his trade elsewhere with his current contract ending by Jun. 30th .
PSG faced an All-Star team built with players from both Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr teams during a friendly gala match held in Saudi Arabia in January.
It looks like Paris Saint-Germain , even after "denying" this weekend will mark the final time Messi will play at the Parc des Princes , has already accepted his departure and has moved on from using his image in promotional content as the Argentina international was used in the promo of the new kit but not at all in the Japan Tour PR content.

PSG already visited Japan between July 17th and 28th last year, playing three friendly matches and performing different commercial activities with local partners involving their players.

Borussia Dortmund confirm USA summer tour with San Diego Loyal, Manchester United and Chelsea friendlies
Borussia Dortmund will head to the USA this summer, where they will play friendlies against San Diego Loyal, Manchester United and Chelsea as part of a tour.
It will be Dortmund ’s fourth trip to the US, following their maiden American adventure in 1954 and more recent visits in 2018 and 2019.
BVB will cross the Atlantic at the end of July. They will face San Diego Loyal at the Snapdragon Stadium on 27 July, before taking on Man United – and former Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho – at the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada three days later.
They then will head north to Chicago, Illinois, for another high-profile game against Chelsea at Soldier Field on 2 August. Former Dortmund and US national team playmaker Christian Pulisic may feature for Chelsea in that.
The fixtures will give American fans the opportunity to see USA international Gio Reyna in action first hand, the 20-year-old having made a name for himself in Dortmund after joining the club as a teenager in summer 2019.
"If you take a look at the big clubs that are spending part of their pre-season preparations in the USA this summer and also playing high-profile friendlies, then it is only logical that we at Borussia Dortmund should not ignore this trend,” said sporting director Sebastian Kehl .
"In the coming weeks, our focus in planning the trip will be on creating the perfect mix of training and matches, as well as meetings with the local people."

Man City 2024 USA tour fixtures confirmed with four glamour opponents including Barcelona
P ep Guardiola will be reunited with Barcelona in the summer, with four pre-season fixtures announced as part of Manchester City's 2024/25 summer tour.
City will potentially play in front of around 250,000 fans across four fixtures in July and August, taking place in North Carolina, New York, Orlando and Ohio. Last month, MEN Sport revealed City's plans to tour America for the second time in three years, with the club now confirming four fixtures across 12 days.
In 2025, City will be back in the USA for the newly-revamped Club World Cup, qualifying for that tournament having won the Champions League last season. The club enjoyed a lucrative tour to Houston and Green Bay in 2022 as Erling Haaland made his first appearance for the club, before earning around £15m from their tour of Japan and South Korea last summer.

Who will City play?
Kicking off this summer's tour in Chapel Hill, North Carolina on July 23, City will take on Scottish giants Celtic at the 50,000-capacity Kenan Stadium. After that, the Blues travel to New York, where they will face AC Milan at the iconic Yankee Stadium on July 27.
Sister club New York City FC have played fixtures there since 2015, as they wait for a bespoke stadium to be built, and the MLS side will play a game the following day at the same venue. City played at the Yankee Stadium 10 years ago against Liverpool .
Three days later on July 30, the Blues fly down to Orlando, Florida, to take on Guardiola's old side Barcelona. While they could still meet in the Champions League final, the summer contest could be the first meeting between the sides since a mid-season friendly in August 2022 at the Nou Camp. The fixture will see Guardiola reunited with his old side, and City players facing former captain Ilkay Gundogan.
Joao Cancelo is currently on loan at Barcelona and has expressed a desire to remain there next season. Last summer, he played for City against Bayern Munich in Tokyo having spent the second half of the 2022/23 season on loan at Bayern. He is under contract at the Etihad until 2027.
Finally, City will travel to Columbus, Ohio to take on Chelsea at the 100,000-capacity Ohio Stadium. That clash with this season's FA Cup semi-final opponents will be played on August 3, before the Blues return to the UK. They will hope to play in the Community Shield, which is likely to take place a week later on August 10, before the Premier League season begins on the weekend of August 17.
Why are City going back to the USA?
Peter Laundy, Senior Vice President Partnerships at City Football Group, said: “We are pleased to announce the details of our 2024/25 preseason tour today as we prepare to return to America with an exciting four-match series delivered in collaboration with FC Series this summer.
“Our 2022 pre-season visit to the United States was hugely successful, including our sell-out fixture at Lambeau Field, Green Bay and the Club’s presence, fan base and status continues to grow significantly within the region. We can’t wait to play more matches, deliver more unique experiences and opportunities for our fans across the country to enjoy with Manchester City when we return later this year.”
What about the Club World Cup next year?
City qualified for the new-look 2025 Club World Cup in the USA by winning the 2023 Champions League. The new-look tournament will be a 32-team edition mirroring the FIFA World Cup.
They will be in the states for that tournament, which takes place between June 15 and July 13. No venues or schedules have been announced yet, although City know they could face Real Madrid, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, PSG, Inter Milan, Juventus or Borussia Dortmund among others. Urawa Red Diamonds and Fluminense, who City beat to win the 2023 Club World Cup, are also among the 22 sides already qualified.
How to watch the US tour games and how to get tickets?
City will show all the games on City+, subject to certain restrictions, as well as live coverage of press conferences and training sessions. They will also produce their regular Matchday Live shows on the tours. Tickets for the games will be announced in due course.
PSG leaves for tour of Japan without talisman Mbappé amid contract dispute
PARIS (AP) — Paris Saint-Germain left for its preseason tour of Japan on Saturday without talismanic striker Kylian Mbappé, whose future at the club looks uncertain amid a contract dispute.
Mbappé has already told the club he won’t trigger a 12-month extension on his contract, but said he would start this coming season with the French champion.
PSG left the France forward out of its 29-man squad for the Japan tour, which features matches against Saudi team Al Nassr, Japanese team Cerezo Osaka and Champions League runner-up Inter Milan.
Mbappé stepped out of a van to greet a handful of waiting PSG fans after a brief training session on Saturday at the club's training complex in the Paris suburb of Poissy.
He looked in good spirits, smiling as he posed for photos and signed autographs with security officials standing nearby, but made no comment about his ongoing situation.
The club does not want to let Mbappé leave for free at the end of next season and says the 2022 World Cup top scorer will either sign a new contract or be sold.
The 24-year-old Mbappé wrote to tell PSG of his plans last month.
News of the letter immediately sparked a transfer frenzy that saw Mbappé linked again with Real Madrid , which offered 180 million euros ($190 million) for the striker in 2021 .
Madrid missed out last year when Mbappé signed a new deal with PSG until 2024 with an option for 2025 that needs to be signed by July 31.
Having seen teammate Lionel Messi leave for Inter Miami after not taking up an option for an extra year, PSG does not want Mbappé leaving as a free agent to Madrid, or anywhere else.
Mbappé already counts 40 goals for France and is only the second player in history to score a hat trick in a World Cup final, doing so when France lost to Argentina. He ended last year's tournament with eight goals, one more than MVP Messi, his club teammate for the past two seasons.
Mbappé wants to see out next season with PSG and then play for France at the Paris Olympics — a request that would need to be approved by the French Football Federation and his club side.
But PSG, which for too long has been perceived as pampering star players such as Neymar, Mbappé and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, is finally standing up to a big-name player.
When club president Nasser al-Khelaifi recently unveiled Luis Enrique as the new coach, he issued a reminder that there was no chance of Mbappé — PSG's all-time leading scorer with 212 goals — going for nothing .
Running down his contract to leave PSG in one year’s time would mean losing out on a transfer fee which could even exceed the world record 222 million euros (then $262 million) it paid Barcelona for Neymar six years ago.
As a free agent, Mbappé could command a colossal signing-on fee if Madrid did not have to pay PSG for the transfer.
PSG would prefer Mbappé renews for one year which would protect its investment and oblige another club to buy him if he did insist on leaving in 2024, potentially after playing for France at the Paris Games.
The Olympic final is on Aug. 9 next year, likely at Parc des Princes — PSG's home stadium.

PSG confirm pre-season tour of Japan
Paris saint-germain will play friendlies against kawasaki frontale, urawa red diamonds and gamba osaka in japan in july,.
Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain will play three pre-season matches in Japan in July, becoming the first European club to visit the country since 2019 . The Qatar-owned outfit announced on Thursday that they will face J1 League sides Kawasaki Frontale , Urawa Red Diamonds and Gamba Osaka on July 20, 23 and 25 respectively.
PSG , who won a 10th French title last month, will be the first club from Europe to visit Japan since before the Covid-19 pandemic. The country has largely closed itself off over the last two-and-a-half years to visiting teams and sporting events but is showing increasing signs of opening up. The 2020 Olympics were among the events affected by the pandemic, with the Tokyo Games postponed by 12 months , while the southern city of Fukuoka deferred its hosting of the world swimming championships this year until 2023. However, Japan continued to hold matches in Asia’s preliminary rounds for November’s World Cup under tight restrictions as the Samurai Blue qualified for the finals in Qatar.

Japan gear up for 2022 World Cup
The national team will play friendlies against Paraguay and Brazil in June and will also feature in the Kirin Cup , which sees the Japanese side joined by Ghana , Chile and Tunisia in a four-team tournament. The East Asian Championships will be held in Japan in July too, with the nation stepping in to host the competition after China relinquished the rights to run the regional tournament due the ongoing impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

How this was made.
- The recycled polyester used in Nike products begins as recycled plastic bottles, which are cleaned, shredded into flakes and converted into pellets. From there, the pellets are spun into new, high-quality yarn used in our products, delivering peak performance with a lower impact on the environment.
- In addition to reducing waste, recycled polyester reduces carbon emissions by up to 30% compared to virgin polyester. Nike diverts an average of 1 billion plastic bottles annually from landfills and waterways.
