Situated 17km from Dapoli, Harnai Port consists of two forts - Suvarnadurg and Kanakdurga. Kanakdurga is the land fort while Suvarnadurg is the sea fort. It was built in the Adil Shah rule and later captured by Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Earlier there was a route connecting both the fort but now it can only be accessed by boat, however, there is no boat service to the fort and one has to ask the fisherman for ferry.

The Unhavare hot springs are situated in Unhavare Village which is 35km from Dapoli. The hot springs are rich in sulphur which is said to be good for skin. This is the only attraction in the area and people come from nearby villages to take a bath in the hot springs.

The sheets of shimmering sands are great to relax or marvel at the mysteries of the ocean, with scores of conches, shells, and cowries populating the space.

The Ganesh temple is situated in Anjarle village near Dapoli. It was first constructed with wood in 1150AD and then reconstructed between 1768-1780. It is particularly known for the right-side placement of the Ganesha's idol which means it's trunk curves towards right which is rare. The temple has a stone staircase to reach the top of the temple. The view from atop is magnificent.

The Panhalakaji caves are located on the Dapoli-Dabhil Pangari road. The road goes right up to the caves. Dapoli is a hill city near the Konkan coast in Maharashtra. The beach city has many historical places with secret and unexplored beaches. Dapoli Beach is not a single place to visit, and it will require a minimum of 3-4 days to explore the city.

This port city connects Mumbai via NH 66, Pune via SH 70, and Goa via NH 66.  Dapoli is also famous for its Turtle Festival. Dapoli is one of my favourite spots while visiting Mumbai. Among many tourist places in the Konkan Region, I saw these Places.

Padale Beach is one of the many unexplored beaches in Dapoli. This beach is around 3 km in length.

With a glorious sunset view, Padale Beach also offers many water sports. Very clean and isolated from the city crowd, this place perfectly combines peace and adventure.

This spot is ideal for a family outing or a trip with friends. Kelshi, located south of Mandangad, offers sandy beaches, cleanliness, and a peaceful atmosphere that will surely enchant those in search of tranquility.

Murud beach in Dapoli is a must-see attraction that attracts many tourists. It is known for its beautiful palm trees, clean shoreline, and a variety of water activities. Additionally, camping facilities are available, making it one of the most enjoyable and cleanest beaches in the area. There are also several serene and less explored beaches located 12 to 25 km away from this place, which are definitely worth a visit.

Don’t forget to capture the beauty of the beach with your camera by taking some pictures and selfies. Feeling adventurous? Give climbing the nearby cliff a try for an exciting rush. How about taking a peaceful walk along the beach to enjoy the scenery with your friends and family?

Karde and Murud beaches are situated around 10 to 12 kilometers from Dapoli town. These beaches, found in Ratnagiri district, offer the largest sandy stretches in the area. Tourists can enjoy seaside paragliding, stunning sunsets, and even catch a glimpse of dolphins. It’s truly a paradise for visitors.

Murud beach is an essential place to visit. One of the primary reasons to go there is the opportunity to see friendly dolphins, although it’s quite rare to actually spot them. Being a popular beach, Murud offers various activities like sports, horse riding, and delicious food options such as sweetcorn, coconut, and Konkani seafood.
