To get into a Ticketmaster event as the lead booker, you gotta have three things: your ticket, your booking confirmation, and a photo ID (Divers license or passport) that matches the name on the confirmation and credit card. While E-tickets are used to gain entry, In addition, I highly recommend printing out a copy of the ticket and its receipt, just in case you run into any issues at the door. Easy peasy!

It’s a surefire way to keep Wembley sparkling with the true Swiftie spirit! However, those girls at Ticketmaster might not of thought this through much. What if I bought a ticket for my kids? What if I bought it in my name as present for my swiftie wife? These are questions unanswered at the moment. Fear not, I will update The Eras Tour Guide as soon as I hear the answers to these concerns. For now I recommend you DO NOT buy from second hand sites for The Eras Tour at Wembley.

Ariel shot of Wembley stadium

Coming from the South? No problem, hun! Just hop on those motorways and let the sat nav guide you. I recommend using Waze app as it’s free and is very good with traffic updates. If you’re somewhere near London, take that M1 or A406 like a pro Swiftie driver. Then, merge onto the A41 and follow the signs to Wembley Stadium. You’ll be strutting into the parking lot like a superstar before you know it!

Now, for all you fabulous northern Swifties (me) , don’t fret! I’ve got a route that’ll have you feeling more confident than Tay-tay performing cruel summer on stage. Take the M1 or M6, depending on your starting point, and head down to the M25. Once there, merge onto the A1 or the A41, and follow the signs straight to Wembley Stadium. You’ll be turning heads with your impeccable navigation skills, darling!

Do i have to pay the ULEZ charge at Wembley?

Next up in The Eras Tour Guide, I’ll cover the ULEZ charge. No, hun! You don’t have to pay the ULEZ charge if you’re parking at Wembley only, as long as you don’t drive through the ULEZ zone on your way there or back. The ULEZ zone is like this big area that covers most of central London and some parts of inner London, and it’s going to get even bigger in the future. You can check if your car is fab enough to drive in the ULEZ zone by using this tool and you can see where the ULEZ zone is by using this map . But honestly, who cares about cars when we have Taylor Swift to look forward to? She’s going to slay the stage and we’re going to be there to witness it! Yasss, queen!

Hun, don’t forget you gotta park at The Eras Tour too…

When it comes to parking at Wembley, we’ve got all the tea in The Eras Tour Guide on where to stash your wheels like a true Swiftie superstar. Get ready to slay with Red Multi Storey Parking (aka ‘Red Parking’), Pink Coach and Car Parking (‘Pink Parking’), Green Coach and Car Parking (‘Green Parking’), and Blue Car Park (Blue Parking) for our fabulous blue-badge holders. Check out the postcodes for these parking gems below:

  • RED Multi-Storey Car Parking HA9 8DS
  • BLUE Multi-Storey Car Parking – HA9 0JB
  • GREEN Car and Coach Parking – HA9 0TQ
  • PINK Multi-Storey Car and Coach Parking – HA9 0HX

Parking capacities at Wembley

Now, let me spill the tea in The Eras Tour Guide on the parking capacities and the sheer fabulousness of each option at Wembley, darling. The multi-storey Red Parking is situated to the west of the stadium, next to the A406 North Circular Road. On event days, it can accommodate around 387 cars, including 48 DDA-compliant parking bays.

Looking for more nearby options? We’ve got the Green Parking, a surface-level car park that offers up to 588 pre-bookable spaces. And let’s not forget the Blue Parking, a multi-storey wonder with 202 DDA-compliant parking bays linked to the stadium concourse via a step-free bridge. Now, if you’re in the mood for a burst of color, the Pink Parking is just a short walk to the east of the stadium on Lakeside Way, with a capacity to accommodate a whopping 1,675 cars. Fabulous, right? But remember, love, availability and layout might change, so keep those lashes peeled for any exciting updates.

Booking Parking like a Superstar

So, how can you secure your parking spot like the superstar Swiftie you are on event days at Wembley Stadium? Well, babes, the Wembley Official Parking website is here to make your life easier than trying to hit those high notes in a Taylor Swift song. You can reserve parking spaces for both event and non-event days through their fierce website. Simply access the Official Parking Site via the event page of the Taylor Swift concert you’re attending at Wembley Stadium for all the extra deets. They’ve got the tea on coaches and event-specific parking info, including accessibility guidance and DDA parking, so you can slay without a worry.

Once you’ve booked your preferred car park and confirmed your car details, get ready to receive a map and postcode of your exact parking location. Now, for some events, parking may be allocated based on specific event deets, so stay in the loop, darling. To guarantee your parking spot on event days, it’s highly recommended to book in advance, as spaces can fill up quicker than Taylor’s trophy cabinet.

The Glam Parking Rates

Up next in the The Eras Tour Guide, let’s talk about the parking rates, babes, because we want to slay our parking game without breaking the bank. The flat rate parking fee for the day is £40, and you can pre-book your spot starting from March 1st, 2023. Keep in mind, there’s an additional booking fee of £2.50 for cars and Blue Badge parking, £1 for motorbikes, £3.50 for minibuses, and £5 for coaches. So, choose your parking option wisely and rock that spot like the fierce Swiftie you are. Oh, and remember, my darlings, prices are subject to change based on availability, seasonal offers, and promotions. Stay on top of the game and be ready to sparkle like Taylor’s biggest fan! We will try and update this guide as frequent as possible, we’ve got your back, hun!

Remember: Choose your parking option, book like a boss, and arrive early to avoid any parking drama.

Can I take a taxi to The Eras Tour?

Feeling fancy and want to arrive like a true VIP? Treat yourself to a taxi or ride-hailing service like Uber or Lyft! It’s a fabulous way to ride in style and get to the stadium with ease. But remember, on event days, traffic can be fierce, so use The Eras Tour Guide and plan accordingly and leave some extra time to arrive like the star you are! Bare in mind these services, while cheaper than traditional black cabs, can be very unreliable on event days. This is why If you are determined to use Taxi, you should definitely look into using a Black Cab as they tend to be much more reliable for these events as well as faster!

Entry Guidelines, Best Seats, Arrival Times – Listen Up, Lovelies!

Darling, to slay your event at Wembley Stadium like a true pop music royalty, timing is everything! So, listen up and let me spill the tea in the The Eras Tour Guide on when you should arrive at this fabulous venue for the ultimate 2023 experience!

view of the wembley stadium

First things first, to avoid those crowds and glide into Wembley Stadium with grace, you’ve got to arrive at Wembley Park as early as you can before the event. Check the schedule, my loves, and find out when the doors open for your show. Then, channel your inner Taylor Swift and aim to strut your stuff at least 60-90 minutes before the main event. Trust me, this will give you plenty of time to get settled and be ready for god!

Now, if you’ve got those fierce general admission seats, my advice is simple: be an early bird, hun! In fact, be an early vulture! Arrive early to secure that spot near the stage like you’re staking your claim to the pop music throne. For my fabulous divas with reserved seats, arriving before the show starts is the name of the game. Glide into that seat like you’re walking the red carpet at the Grammys. Remember, darlings, this is your moment to shine, so don’t be fashionably late!

But wait, the party’s not over yet, my loves! Arriving early has its perks, like catching those fabulous opening acts and having time to explore all the wonders of Wembley. Trust me, there’s more to do than a Taylor Swift concert has costume changes! Check out the Wembley Park Art Trail, grab a pre-show drink at BOXPARK Wembley, or indulge in some retail therapy at London Designer Outlet. Talk about a day full of fabulousness!

Don’t leave right away!

After the show, linger in your seat for a cool 10-15 minutes, darling. Let the crowds disperse like fans chasing after a pop music heartthrob. And if you’re feeling peckish, why not have dinner at one of the many delicious restaurants in Wembley Park? Masalchi or Estadio Lounge, anyone? Just a heads up, booking might be required because, let’s face it, everyone wants to dine like a diva!

Before you hit Wembley Stadium like a diva, it’s important to shake it off and be aware of the stadium’s bag policy, so your visit is stress-free and drama-free, just like a “Love Story.” For security reasons, only bags smaller than an A4 piece of paper (that’s H 297mm, W 210mm, and D 210mm) are allowed inside. So, make sure your bag is “Fearless” and meets the requirements before strutting your stuff at the stadium.

Now, here’s the tea, honey: if you buy items on the day of the event, they’ll come in a clear plastic bag, which is totally “Enchanted” and permitted. But if you splurge on merch from inside or outside the stadium, those bags will be sealed, so keep that in mind.

And hold on tight, because there are some strictly prohibited items, including big umbrellas (no “Umbrella” here, Rihanna), selfie sticks (let’s save those poses for Instagram, loves), pushchairs (sorry, strollers, we’ve got no “Blank Space” for you), food and drink (let’s party, but not with that, it’s not a “Party in the USA”), large-bodied cameras (leave those at home, no “Picture to Burn” here), alcohol (no booze, just good vibes, “Shake It Off”), and more. Basically, anything that could be a party pooper or compromise public safety is a no-go. Check the full list of no-no items in the visitor guide to Wembley Stadium, and avoid any “Bad Blood.”

And, darling, let’s talk cashless! Wembley Stadium is now cash-free, which means you’ll need your debit or credit card for any purchases. Those kiosks won’t accept your hard-earned cash, so plan accordingly and keep your plastic at the ready, “Ready for It?”

Now, don’t forget your ticket, whether it’s physical or electronic, and don’t leave your ID behind either. If you’ve got an e-ticket on your phone, consider bringing a power bank, so you can access it all day without any glitches, “Mine” your battery wisely!

The Best Seat in the House, Hun!

Now, let’s talk about the best seats to get the ultimate Wembley Stadium experience, “All Too Well.” And girl, i’ve got great news for you! Every block in this state-of-the-art venue offers fabulous unrestricted views, no matter the height. Whether you’re chilling in Club Wembley on Level 2 (the top choice, hun, “Wildest Dreams”), or even up high on the upper level, the views are fierce. Comfortable seats with plenty of space between rows – yaaas, queen! And those official seating plans will give you all the deets on each level, so you can find your perfect spot to slay, “Our Song.” So don’t worry whatever seat you got, what makes Wembley so special is it is designed to give every single person the best experience possible!

surroundings of wembley stadium at dawn

Roof or No Roof, That’s the Question!

Now, one question that gets asked all the time is: does Wembley have a roof, “The Story of Us?” You betcha, darling! This fabulous stadium comes equipped with a sliding cover, sitting 52 meters above the pitch, to provide cover for every seat. Rain or shine, we’re covered, but if you’re on the pitch with a standing ticket at a concert, be prepared for a little rain-dance action. To see the view from your seat, check out the “View from Your Seat” page on the Wembley Stadium website before booking. That way, you’ll know if you’re under the roof or exposed to the elements, “State of Grace.”

Capacity at Wembley for The Eras Tour

Curious about the capacity at Wembley Stadium? Hold on to your sequins, loves, because this powerhouse can hold a whopping 90,000 visitors (now, that’s a crowd!), “The Best Day.” We UK folks have it big, but not quite the biggest – the world’s largest stadium title goes to the Rungrado 1st of May Stadium in Pyongyang, North Korea, holding a staggering 114,000 people, with some reports even claiming it can reach 150,000 for certain events…

Accessibility, Inclusion, and All the Love!

You know we are all about inclusion here at theerastouruk.com but Wembley Stadium and Wembley Park have got your back too, babes, with step-free access all around the neighborhood – from public transport to parking and retailers. Wembley boasts an impressive 310 spaces for wheelchair users, each with an accompanying seat for a personal assistant or companion. These spaces are available on every level, so everyone can enjoy the show in style, “You Belong with Me.” But wait, there’s more! Wembley has got dedicated seating for guests with access requirements who don’t need a wheelchair – like those with visual impairment or other non-visible disabilities. It’s all about making you feel like the superstar you are, “Shine” like the star you are!

With dedicated lifts, trained staff and stewards, accessible toilets and changing places units, induction loop facilities, assistance dogs, and audio descriptive commentary – you’ll feel right at home, darling! But that’s not even the half of it, there’s sensory and inclusion rooms accommodating up to 12 guests each, including 2 wheelchair users per room, available on Level 4. Because at Wembley Stadium, love knows no boundaries, “Love Story” for everyone! Further details can be found o the official Wembley site .

Where to Eat when i go to The Eras Tour?

I know eating will be the lasst thing on your mind, but there’s a few things worth noting, so, listen up loves! No outside food or drinks allowed at Wembley Stadium, but don’t worry, we’ve got your back. With over 60 restaurants and bars in Wembley Park, you’re in for a treat! BOXPARK Wembley, darling, is the place to be with its three bars, music, and over 20 street food vendors – yas, hunty! And don’t miss London Designer Outlet, serving up high-street options like Nando’s, Pizza Express, and TGI Fridays. And if you’re feeling “Masalchi,” try out twice-Michelin-starred Chef Atul Kochhar’s restaurant, or “Estadio Lounge” on Wembley Park Boulevard for something unique. Pssst, there’s also a Maccies not far – but ya’ll don’t be breaking their Ice cream machine now if its a hot one.

Shopping, Shopaholics!

Oh, queens, London Designer Outlet, aka LDO, is our shopping haven near Wembley Stadium. Over 50 stores with all your fave brands at up to 70% off – “All You Had to Do Was Stay,” right? But wait, it gets better! Pro tip: Spend £40 or more at LDO’s shops, restaurants, or Cineworld Wembley on an event day, and you can park for up to six hours at the normal tariff – “Wonderland” found! And with the Dropit service, no need to carry those shopping bags, “Shake It Off” to freedom! Get your purchases delivered right to you, “Love Story” of shopping convenience!

Can you visit Wembley Stadium without a ticket to an event?

Well, technically, you can go to Wembley without a ticket, but it’s not a good idea, hun.

You see, some naughty fans tried to do that a couple years ago, when England played Italy in the Euro 2020 final. They stormed the gates, pushed past the stewards, and sneaked into the stadium. But they caused a lot of trouble, and some of them got caught and kicked out.

It was absolute bedlam, darling. There were fights, injuries, and arrests. Not to mention the risk of spreading Covid. And England lost on penalties anyway. How tragic. 😭

Now i can’t see Swifites being as aggressive but unless you want to end up in jail or in hospital, I suggest you stay away from Wembley without a ticket. It’s not worth it, sweetie. You’re better off watching Taylor on TV or online at a later stage. Or maybe try to find a scalper who will take them you with them. But good luck with that, because they’re probably charging an arm and a leg for them.

Things to do near Wembley before The Eras Tour starts

Now there are some things you could do, but nothing as exciting as seeing Taylor Swift live, babe. And if thousands of ticket-less fans turn up outside the stadium like they did across the pond, then you can be sure it wont be as easy as it usually is.

You could go shopping at the London Designer Outlet, where you can find some fab deals on clothes and accessories. But don’t forget to use the Dropit service, so you don’t have to carry your bags around. Or you could just save your money for Taylor merch, because you know you want it.

You could also grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants near Wembley Stadium, from Italian to Indian, from burgers to burritos. There’s something for everyone, even for your fussy vegan cousin. But don’t eat too much, because you’ll need some room for popcorn and candy floss later.

Or you could just chill out at Wembley Park, where you can enjoy some nature, art, and culture. You can admire the stunning architecture of the stadium, the iconic arch, and the colourful fountains. You can also check out some of the local artists and artisans who showcase their work in the park. Or you can just sit on a bench and watch the world go by.

  • Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later. More content below

Taylor Swift will soon launch the European, UK and Ireland legs of her record-breaking Eras tour.

Over the past year, the 34-year-old pop star has been performing her career-spanning shows at stadiums around the world, including North America, Tokyo, Melbourne, Sydney and Singapore.

In a five-star review of the very first show of Swift’s Eras tour , critic Kelsey Barnes wrote how the US star guided fans through more than a decade’s worth of “her best work”.

“Her ‘Eras Tour’ was designed as a journey through that staggering back catalogue of 10 albums, from her earlier country twang on her self-titled debut to the shift to synth-pop on 1989 , then to the subdued folk and alt-rock of Folklore and Evermore ,” she wrote.

“Throughout the opening night of the tour, it frequently feels as though the audience is being caught up with Swift’s past, present and future. In the 44-song setlist that spans three hours and 15 minutes, she shows why the “era” concept is so integral to who she is. Each chapter marks a specific shift in her artistry.”

The Tortured Poets Department, released on 19 April, is the pop titan’s 11th studio album. It appears to have been inspired, in part, by the five stages of grief. Ahead of the release, Swift shared five new playlists that arrange her songs into those stages: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.

“These songs represent making room for more good in your life,” she says in a brief audio message that accompanied the final playlist, acceptance. “Making that choice. Because a lot of time when we lose things, we gain things too.”

The move comes as Tesla has seen its profit margin narrow over the past several quarters, the result of an EV price war that has persisted for at least a year.

Taylor Swift Taps Paramore for European Eras Tour Run

Taylor Swift knows we need more — so she’s giving us just that. The singer has added 14 more shows to the European/U.K. leg of her Eras Tour , and announced that Paramore will provide support throughout the trek.

“Really can’t contain my excitement because… we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour,” Swift wrote on Twitter Wednesday, July 5. “And I get to travel the world doing shows with @paramore !! Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???”

Last month, Swift added dozens of shows to her Taylor Swift: The Eras stadium tour — bringing the total count of shows to a whooping 104 nights . She also extended her run at Los Angeles’ So-Fi Stadium with a sixth show scheduled for Aug. 7.

The new addition comes after the singer announced shows in Japan, Australia, Singapore, and Europe earlier this week. (See below for the full tour dates.)

“EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY 🙋‍♀️,” she wrote on Instagram. “I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates!”

She also added more dates to her already-announced Latin America tour. After wrapping her U.S. dates in Los Angeles on Aug. 9, Swift will head to Mexico City for four straight shows at Foro Sol starting Aug. 24. She’ll then stop in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and both Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo in Brazil in November.

Swift first announced the tour last October after she completely took over the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 with Midnights . The added dates, which follow the addition of eight new shows last week, were slotted in “due to unprecedented demand,” according to the singer’s camp.

“Good Morning America, it’s Taylor,” Swift said during the announcement. “I wanted to tell you something that I’ve been so excited about for a really long time and I’ve been planning for ages, and I finally get to tell you I’m going back on tour. The tour is called the ‘Eras’ tour, and it’s a journey through all of my musical eras of my career.”

The tour began on March 17 in Glendale, Arizona and extends through Aug. 9, where the singer will wrap with a fifth night at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Swift still has stops left in Detroit, Minneapolis, Cincinnati, Seattle, and Santa Clara.

Across the tour, Swift is being supported in select cities by a combination of special guests including Paramore, beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, girl in red, MUNA, HAIM, GAYLE, Gracie Abrams, and OWENN.

The Eras tour follows the cancelation of her planned 2020 Lover Fest tour, which was originally going to see her make stadium stops in Los Angeles, Boston, and New York, along with Brazil, Denmark, Norway, and Poland. “This is an unprecedented pandemic that has changed everyone’s plans and no one knows what the touring landscape is going to look like in the near future,” she wrote in 2021.

Swift last went the road in 2018 for her massive Reputation Stadium Tour , which saw Swift accompanied by the likes of Charli XCX and Camila Cabello across the United States, the United Kingdom, along with Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. The tour was the highest-grossing music tour by a female artist that year.

Since her last tour, Swift has released four albums and two re-releases: Lover , Folklore , Evermore , Midnights , and Taylor’s Version editions of Fearless and Red with additional songs. In total, she’s dropped 90 tracks of new material, not including collaborations with the likes of Haim and Big Red Machine.

Fans have long wondered what music she’ll be performing on the road, with some theorizing that she’d host a residency in Las Vegas or a music festival where she’d perform different “eras” on different nights.

Along with packing her setlist with songs from Reputation in 2018, she surprised each city with an acoustic rendition of fan favorites like “Red,” “Holy Ground,” and “Wildest Dreams.” At select shows, she also brought out special guests. Shawn Mendes, Selena Gomez, Hayley Kiyoko, and Maren Morris were among the artists to be brought out by Swift.

The stadium tour was accompanied by a concert film released on New Year’s Eve that year.

She previously took her 1989 album on the road for 85 dates, where she was accompanied by the likes of Mendes, James Bay, Vance Joy, and Haim. Before then was The Red Tour in 2013 and 2014, and her Speak Now World Tour from 2011 to 2012.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift  was watching when Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt performed her song “All Too Well” on Saturday Night Live . And she’s all for it.

Gosling hosted Saturday’s episode of SNL , and was joined by his The Fall Guy co-star Emily Blunt for a cover of her Red -era release during the monologue.

Gosling then slotted in at a grand piano and channeled his loveable-but-dimwitted Ken with a parody of “All Too Well,” complete with dark shades and a white fur coat.

Swift’s lyrics were tweaked for the occasion. “I shredded Venice Beach is true / My clothes were tight / But something about that spandex felt so right / I left my rollerblades in that big pink house / But I still got that fur coat and I’ll wear that right now,” he sings. “If I said that I was doing fine, you know I’d be lying / ‘Cause I was just Ken and now I’m just Ryan.”

Swift gave the moment her seal of approval with a post on Instagram . “All Too Well (Ryan and Emily’s Version)!!! Watch me accidentally catch myself singing this version on tour. This monologue is everything,” she writes.

Gosling, even when he’s out of character, has a special connection with the song. In an interview with Fandango posted last week on YouTube, Gosling and Blunt talked TayTay while discussing their new film alongside director David Leitch and stunt doubles Ben Jenkins and Logan Holladay.

The actors shared their personal favorite tracks in the 14-time Grammy winner’s catalogue, with Gosling revealing, “‘All Too Well’ right now has a real soft spot in my heart.”

Swift is currently enjoying some downtime during her extensive The Eras Tour . She restarts her schedule with concerts May 24 and 25 at Estádio da Luz in Lisbon, Portugal, followed by a run of eight mid-summer shows at London’s Wembley Stadium.

How to get the best Taylor Swift UK Eras Tour resale tickets and avoid the worst seats

T aylor Swift has been on the road with her mega popular Eras Tour for well over a year now, playing to tens of thousands of fans each night across the continents in North and south America, Australia and Japan, so far. Luckily for British Swifities, the queen of pop will be making the UK and Ireland her home for the next leg of the Eras tour in a matter of weeks.

While The Shake it Off singer will unfortunately not be playing in Manchester this time around, she will be within just an hour's drive of the city centre. Taylor is set to play three consecutive shows at Liverpool's Anfield Stadium in June, before heading down south to Cardiff and London.

Tickets for the Eras Tour sold out immediately when they went on sale last year. But fear not, as there are still ways to get your hands on some tickets. In fact, here is some information about which seats you should try and grab, which s eats to ignore and how to get the tickets on resale without spending an absolute fortune.

If videos on social media are anything to judge by, you’re in for a pretty special time if you end up nabbing floor seats. Even if you’re several rows back, floor seats are ideal if you really want to be in on the action, as everyone stands and joins in with each song. Just be aware that if you’re on the shorter side or are planning on taking kids with you, you may struggle to see everything over the sea of phones.

Tiered seating

Despite being further back, if you’re in the lower half of the tiered seating, you’ll get the best of both worlds, with clearer vision and less chaos around you. You’ll also be able to oversee all of the crowds below, meaning it’s a great place to take in the atmosphere.

Nosebleed seats, AKA seats right at the very back of the stadium, might be the furthest away from the stage, but they also give you a good overall view of the entire stadium. They also tend to be on the cheaper end, meaning they’re definitely worth considering if you’re looking to secure some Eras tour tickets this month.

Obstructed view

Obstructed view can mean a lot of things, from a big pole in the way, to a side seat with partial view of the stage. These kinds of seats are therefore the most budget-friendly, but it’s worth noting that in many cases, a partially obstructed view of the stage still gives you full view of the diamond, which is where a lot of the action is anyway.

So if you’re going to go for a seat with obstructed view, it’s best to find out what kind of obstruction you’re up against before buying. Let’s be real, if you’re lucky enough to get through the queue and secure your tickets, it’ll likely be more of a grab and go situation and you probably won’t have the time to be picky. hat being said, there are no bad seats at a Taylor Swift show, and wherever you end up you’ll still be able to soak in the atmosphere and sing your heart out.

How to get the tickets?

You can keep checking AXS and Ticketmaster for official tickets, as fans are able to resell theirs if they can no longer go. But those are likely to get snapped up insanely fast.

Instead, consider resale ticket websites. Viagogo and VividSeats are selling Taylor Swift Eras Tour tickets. Those websites give you the opportunity to shop at your leisure, as tickets put up for sale by fans remain there until bought.

At the time of writing, the cheapest ticket on Viagogo for her gig at Anfield on June 14 cost £338. There were around 400 when we checked, but new ones keep getting added. On VividSeats , the cheapest ticket at the time of writing was $630, which amounts to roughly £498.

With people often concerned about using resale tickets, a Viagogo spokesperson told the Express: "Th e European leg of Taylor Swift’s Eras tour has been long anticipated. We’ve not seen anything like this since The Beatles and with tickets having only just gone on sale, demand is at its peak right now.

"Viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the freedom to buy and sell tickets to their favourite live events, safely and securely, backed by a guarantee. Sellers on our marketplace may list tickets at high values when demand is high, but prices can change and tend to reduce over time.

"We recommend Swifties wait for demand to settle and check regularly for a listing that meets their budget. Tickets for Taylor Swift’s UK dates have already sold for as low as 172 GBP on our platform. Also, tickets listed at eye-catchingly high prices rely, if ever, sell."

AXS also released a statement: "The only way to obtain a valid ticket for Taylor Swift’s shows is via the approved ticket agents. In the UK, the approved ticket agents are: Ticketmaster, AXS or directly through the venue’s website. In Ireland, the approved ticket agent is Ticketmaster. Any tickets found to be purchased via re-sale on the non-official secondary market will not be valid for entry into the concerts and will be cancelled in accordance with the terms and conditions of sale."

"Through official resale facilities, ticket resale prices are capped to help combat the inflation of ticket prices and put a stop to ticket touting. For more information on official resale facilities, fans should visit the website of their approved ticket agent," they added.

When is Taylor Swift playing in the UK?

  • Friday, June 7 at the Scottish Gas Murrayfield, Edinburgh
  • Saturday, June 8 at the Scottish Gas Murrayfield, Edinburgh

Moscow metro tour: architectural styles of the subway.

the eras tour wembley

Duration: 2 hours

Categories: Culture & History, Sightseeing

This metro tour of Russia’s capital and most populous city, Moscow, is your chance to get a unique insight into the beautiful and impressive architecture of the city's underground stations. Admire their marble walls and high ceilings representing Stalin's desire for glory after World War 2, and see first-hand how the interiors change with the rise of new political eras. Your guide will lead you through the complex network, which is one of the most heavily used rapid transit systems worldwide, with over two billion travelers in 2011.

Opened in 1935, Moscow’s underground system, now 190 miles (305 km) long with 185 stations, is today one the largest and most heavily used rapid transit systems in the world. On this Moscow metro tour, discover the impressive architecture of Moscow’s underground stations and learn how they reflect the Soviet era.

Getting around by metro, your local guide will take you through parts of Moscow’s infamous history. Stop at stations built during the time of the USSR (Soviet Union) that are praised as one of the most extravagant architectural projects from Stalin’s time. After World War 2, he was keen on establishing Stalinist architecture to represent his rising regime and a recognized empire. Learn how when his successor started the de-Stalinization of the former Soviet Union in 1953, the extravagancy of the architecture was toned down.

Discover how the unique character of each station reflected several different eras. While stations like Kievskaya and Slavyansky Bulvar have pompous halls and high stucco ceilings brimming with extravagant decorations, those built later, like Volzhskaya, are lightly adorned with sparse furnishings. Architect Alexey Dushkin and painter Alexander Deyneka were just two of the many artists who made these magnificent landmarks possible.

Revel in Moscow's glory days, as well as the years of scarcity, on this fascinating Moscow metro experience. Conclude your tour at one of the central stations in Moscow. If you're lucky, you may even find the secret entrance to the unconfirmed Metro-2, a parallel underground system used by the government -- a mystery which has neither been denied nor confirmed today.

Culture Shock Rating

We have a wide range of tours designed to give you an insight into the destination you're travelling in and there is something for everybody. The culture shock ratings considers the destination visited, transport used, activities undertaken and that "Wow, I'm really not at home now!" factor. While generalisations are always tricky, a summary of our gradings is as follows…

This is the least confronting of our tour range. Transport used on the trip is either private or a very comfortable public option, the activities included are usually iconic sites and locations that are not all too confronting.

The tour can include a mix of private and public transport providing a level of comfort that is slightly below what you would experience at home. Sites visited are usually iconic sites, tours can also include market visits, visits to communities etc that provide the traveller with a fantastic insight into destination.

Expect to rough it for parts of this tour, whether it's a packed public bus where you are forced to stand, a visit to a local market, a local community, you are sure to have an experience that is very different from what you're used to at home.

The comforts of your home town and the environment you are used to are more of a rarity. Expect some challenging transport options, visits to local sites and areas that don't resemble anything at home.

You're out there in the global community! You are likely to be exposed to the elements, travel in whatever means of transport is available and basically take it as it comes, whatever comes! It can be tough.

Physical Rating

Our physical rating gives you an idea of how much huffing and puffing you can expect on the tour. While generalisations are always tricky, a summary of our gradings is as follows…

These tours have very limited physical activity. Usually climbing in and out of the transport provided, walking through sites, markets etc included in the itinerary.

These tours have a bit of physical activity but nothing that should challenge you too much. This could be climbing on and off public transport through to a walk through the destination you're travelling in, they can include walking only tours or a combination of walking and transport.

These tours involve a bit of physical activity from walking up and down hills in the destination you're travelling in or the surrounding areas. Climbing on and off local transport or riding a bike up to 30 kms along predominantly flat terrain or jumping in a kayak for a gentle paddle on flat water.

These Tours will provide you with some solid physical activity. Whether its bike riding, walking, trekking, kayaking or riding on public transport you will need to have a good level of fitness to enjoy this tour.

Be prepared for some serious physical activity. These tours are our most challenging and involve some serious walking, hiking or bike riding. Can involve step climbs by foot or pedal and some challenging public transport options in the destination you are travelling.

Luxury Rating

Some trips are like a stroll on the beach, while others have you trekking alpine passes. Some of you thrive on camping out on the savannah, while others may prefer a hot shower and a comfortable bed in a lodge. Follow the grading systems below to find the right trip for you.

To help you choose the trip that's right for you, we've broken all of our trips down into four service levels. Measuring the comfort level of the accommodation and transport. So whether you're travelling on a budget and want to save money by using public transport, or prefer upgraded accommodation and are happy to pay a little more, then we have a level for you.

Fun facts from our Moscow Metro Tours:

From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.

At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.

According to some sources, the total length of Metro-2 reaches over 150 kilometers.

The Museum was opened on Sportivnaya metro station on November 6, 1967. It features the most interesting models of trains and stations.

Coffee Ring

The first scheme of Moscow Metro looked like a bunch of separate lines. Listen to a myth about Joseph Stalin and the main brown line of Moscow Metro.

Zodiac Metro

According to some astrologers, each of the 12 stops of the Moscow Ring Line corresponds to a particular sign of the zodiac and divides the city into astrological sector.

Astrologers believe that being in a particular zadiac sector of Moscow for a long time, you attract certain energy and events into your life.

Paleontological finds

Red marble walls of some of the Metro stations hide in themselves petrified inhabitants of ancient seas. Try and find some!

Moscow Metro

The Moscow Metro Tour is included in most guided tours’ itineraries. Opened in 1935, under Stalin’s regime, the metro was not only meant to solve transport problems, but also was hailed as “a people’s palace”. Every station you will see during your Moscow metro tour looks like a palace room. There are bright paintings, mosaics, stained glass, bronze statues… Our Moscow metro tour includes the most impressive stations best architects and designers worked at - Ploshchad Revolutsii, Mayakovskaya, Komsomolskaya, Kievskaya, Novoslobodskaya and some others.

What is the kremlin in russia?

The guide will not only help you navigate the metro, but will also provide you with fascinating background tales for the images you see and a history of each station.

And there some stories to be told during the Moscow metro tour! The deepest station - Park Pobedy - is 84 metres under the ground with the world longest escalator of 140 meters. Parts of the so-called Metro-2, a secret strategic system of underground tunnels, was used for its construction.

During the Second World War the metro itself became a strategic asset: it was turned into the city's biggest bomb-shelter and one of the stations even became a library. 217 children were born here in 1941-1942! The metro is the most effective means of transport in the capital.

There are almost 200 stations 196 at the moment and trains run every 90 seconds! The guide of your Moscow metro tour can explain to you how to buy tickets and find your way if you plan to get around by yourself.

Touring the Top 10 Moscow Metro Stations

Komsomolskaya metro station

Komsomolskaya metro station looks like a museum. It has vaulted ceilings and baroque decor.

Hidden underground, in the heart of Moscow, are historical and architectural treasures of Russia. These are Soviet-era creations – the metro stations of Moscow.

Our guide Maria introduced these elaborate metro stations as “the palaces for the people.” Built between 1937 and 1955, each station holds its own history and stories. Stalin had the idea of building beautiful underground spaces that the masses could enjoy. They would look like museums, art centers, concert halls, palaces and churches. Each would have a different theme. None would be alike.

The two-hour private tour was with a former Intourist tour guide named Maria. Maria lived in Moscow all her life and through the communist era of 60s to 90s. She has been a tour guide for more than 30 years. Being in her 60s, she moved rather quickly for her age. We traveled and crammed with Maria and other Muscovites on the metro to visit 10 different metro stations.

To Maria, every street, metro and building told a story. I couldn’t keep up with her stories. I don’t remember most of what she said because I was just thrilled being in Moscow.   Added to that, she spilled out so many Russian words and names, which to one who can’t read Cyrillic, sounded so foreign and could be easily forgotten.

The metro tour was the first part of our all day tour of Moscow with Maria. Here are the stations we visited:

1. Komsomolskaya Metro Station  is the most beautiful of them all. Painted yellow and decorated with chandeliers, gold leaves and semi precious stones, the station looks like a stately museum. And possibly decorated like a palace. I saw Komsomolskaya first, before the rest of the stations upon arrival in Moscow by train from St. Petersburg.

2. Revolution Square Metro Station (Ploshchad Revolyutsii) has marble arches and 72 bronze sculptures designed by Alexey Dushkin. The marble arches are flanked by the bronze sculptures. If you look closely you will see passersby touching the bronze dog's nose. Legend has it that good luck comes to those who touch the dog's nose.

3. Arbatskaya Metro Station served as a shelter during the Soviet-era. It is one of the largest and the deepest metro stations in Moscow.

4. Biblioteka Imeni Lenina Metro Station was built in 1935 and named after the Russian State Library. It is located near the library and has a big mosaic portrait of Lenin and yellow ceramic tiles on the track walls.

5. Kievskaya Metro Station was one of the first to be completed in Moscow. Named after the capital city of Ukraine by Kiev-born, Nikita Khruschev, Stalin's successor.

7. Kurskaya Metro Station was one of the first few to be built in Moscow in 1938. It has ceiling panels and artwork showing Soviet leadership, Soviet lifestyle and political power. It has a dome with patriotic slogans decorated with red stars representing the Soviet's World War II Hall of Fame. Kurskaya Metro Station is a must-visit station in Moscow.

8. Mayakovskaya Metro Station built in 1938. It was named after Russian poet Vladmir Mayakovsky. This is one of the most beautiful metro stations in the world with 34 mosaics painted by Alexander Deyneka.

9. Belorusskaya Metro Station is named after the people of Belarus. In the picture below, there are statues of 3 members of the Partisan Resistance in Belarus during World War II. The statues were sculpted by Sergei Orlov, S. Rabinovich and I. Slonim.
