Fort Solis Walkthrough Plus 100% Achievements List
Hit a wall in this sci-fi thriller? Here’s a Fort Solis walkthrough for those wanting to finish the story and missing the off achievement.
It’s possible to get 100% completion in your first Fort Solis walkthrough, but without having anyone to compare to, it’s taken me four attempts, specifically related to the achievement Skeleton Crew, and I still don’t have it despite unlocking everything.
At the time of this Fort Solis guide, an update prompted another playthrough so that I could get that platinum. Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoyed this game, but not as much having to do the same thing repeatedly without being able to skip anything.
You can barely sprint, are unable to skip dialogue, and there are no manual saves. Again, you can complete this in one playthrough but be warned that if you miss something specific, you’ll have to restart – more so if it’s that bloody Skeleton Crew achievement.
This Fort Solis guide focuses more on a basic walkthrough and a summary of the achievements list. It’s easy not to miss the bulk of trophies, but locating all items takes time – especially if you’re writing a walkthrough from scratch [I’ve since bailed on all the items unless people ask] . By the way, QTEs seldom affect trophies or progress other than the end fight scene. Good luck.
Fort Solis Walkthrough
Follow the tutorial, enter the vehicle, and head to Fort Solis. Head to the lift immediately before you, then go up the stairs to try the door. Return to the lift and follow the QTE prompts.
Walk forward towards the lit building called the atrium, follow the QTE prompts. Immediately go upstairs and collect the i5 unit. Back downstairs, walk past the tree to download the schematics. Directly behind you is a vending machine. Interact with it, and you’ll get the Drinking on the Job achievement when you drink from the bottle.
Into the conference room, use the i5 unit to unlock the door, then use the terminal in room 2. The passcode is 8007, found on the back of a photo in the next room. Tab across to surveillance and unlock the door. Return to the lobby, go to the stairwell, and then downstairs to the crew quarters.
Walk into the gym and interact with the equipment for the Boxing Clever achievement. Use the pool table for the Boston Heyday achievement in the unlocked room. Go through the next corridor, follow it to the second set of crew rooms and look for a half-open door. Take the keycard. In the next crew area is a door marked ‘L1’. Go inside and take the i5 battery. Now, return to the stairwell and go down to the medical bay.
Walk through area B2 and on the second left, interact with the terminal and unlock the med bay door via surveillance. Return to the medical bay area and go into surgery. Interact with the body and take the keycard. Leave the room, then after the cutscene, push through the crawlspace and up the stairs to the atrium to get your helmet.
Back to the stairwell, down the stairs and through the drill bay. Go through the middle door, take the i5 battery from the dryer, into the door on the right and take the level 3 keycard. The poster here (#5) is missable – it’s in the space where the cart comes out from. Same for the Titan banner (#1) on the right. Interact with the train, take the battery out of the cart, insert it into the train and then rinse and repeat the opening sequence for the shutter doors.
Outside, climb the ladder. Make sure you walk towards the highlighted storage in front and on the right. I missed this on the first playthrough as I decided to explore and could not unlock the Skeleton Crew achievement. Multiple times . Now go to the maintenance unit. Use your map (it’s rubbish), and it’s northeast of the atrium. Get the i5 battery from the locker and head towards the stairwell until you get to inspect the damaged terminal.
Walk back to Fort Solis. Try opening the door up the stairs, then go to the vehicle for the tool and try again. After the cutscene, proceed to the maintenance unit again until you reach the surveillance terminal showing what happened to Jack. Outside of the building, locate the comms hub to the west. It’s blocked, but a winch to the south can be connected to free up the debris.
Inside, interact with the server, then head down the stairwell. After the cutscene, look at the terminal and make note of the numbers 25, 28, 23, 35 and 39. You need to locate these servers and activate them. I’m unsure if they are in order, but I did so anyway, pressing the power switch when the orange diamond lights up. Back to the terminal to get the level 4 keycard, return to the atrium and enter the canteen via crew quarters. Once you enter the canteen, take the level 5 keycard and unlock the greenhouse via the stairwell.
Follow the corridor, and aside from exploring and collecting everything, head up the stairs in the greenhouse and go to the office. Take the i5 battery, return the stairwell and head up, using the battery on the door. Proceed through as far as you can until you can go right. Find the elevator and go up to level 3. Walk through to the other side and then go to the ground level. Leave the lift, and this will trigger the final sequence.
There are two options. You can get the ‘better’ ending and complete the QTE during the Wyatt fight when you take over as Jack. Alternatively, you can sit still and unlock the bad ending and subsequent achievement. On the flip side, while you can’t manually save, after finishing the game, you can return to this end sequence and unlock the other ending with little effort.
And that concludes the Fort Solis walkthrough… and now for some lists.

Trophy Guide and Road Map for Fort Solis
Fort Solis is a Story-Driven Thriller game developed by Fallen Leaf and Black Drakkar Games, and published by Dear Villagers. The game offers a third-person perspective and aims to immerse players in an enigmatic ambiance while delivering a captivating narrative. Players will have the opportunity to explore the Fort Solis station on Mars, as well as the Martian surface and eerie underground tunnels. The protagonist, Jack Leary, relies on a Multi-Tool for navigation and puzzle-solving. Fort Solis promises a rich narrative that explores character dynamics and challenges the protagonist’s expertise.
Phase One - Finish Story, Chapter-Specific Trophies & Collectibles
For Phase One of our Fort Solis Trophy Guide you can ignore everything and just focus on engaging with the story as the game is only a couple of hours long. Along the way you can unlock the Chapter-specific Trophies . Nothing is really missable as once you have finished the story you can select “Continue” from the Main Menu to be placed back at the end before the final confrontation so you can continue to explore the full Fort Solis facility and collect all collectibles. The only real missable thing is the 3-4 collectibles in Chapter 2 as you lose access to the room they’re in once you leave the area. However, you can select “New Game” from the Main Menu without losing any collectibles as the game tracks them separately to your story progress so there shouldn’t be much trouble.
If you’d like to get all collectibles in Phase One without having to using Continue/New Game, i.e. one playthrough, then you can follow along with our Fort Solis All Collectibles Guide .
Trophies in this phase:
Complete the Ridge Climb
Story-Related
Welcome to Fort Solis will unlock after using the climbing device outside of Fort Solis’ entrance to reach the top of the ridge.
Grant power to a door
Inside the Atrium of Fort Solis you can climb some stairs to another level overlooking the Sakura tree in the middle. Up there on a box is an “i5 device” which you can use to grant power to the door behind the white light door downstairs. Using the device on the door will unlock Relic.
Escape the Medical Bay
While exploring the Med Bay you will eventually be locked in and have to escape via a maintenance tunnel in the Cryo Storage/Furnace Room. Once you crawl through the passage and exit back into the B2 stairwell Outpatient will unlock.
Locate the Generator in the Maintenance Unit
Survive the Storm
At the start of Chapter 03 you will be out in the storm. After a brief moment where you have to press a combination of buttons, the title for Chapter 03 will appear and The Safety of Disbelief will unlock.
Gain entry to the Ridge Tunnel
Shortly after reaching Fort Solis (again) you will have to cut open the main door and once inside you will unlock Once More into the Breach.
Enter the Greenhouse
After you collect A. Hoskins’ L5 security card you can head down the stairs to B2 and use the card to access the Greenhouse tunnel. As soon as you enter A Better Tomorrow will unlock.
Complete Fort Solis
Darkest Before the Dawn will unlock at the end of Chapter 04.
Finish the bottle of beer
Chapter-Specific
Interact with the punch bag
Take a shot at the pool table
Semi-Missable
Gain access to Nick Tout's broken Multi Tool
During Chapter 03 you will have to make your way to the Communications Hub via the Surface. Once inside you can find N. Tout’s Multi Tool on a workbench to your left as soon as you enter. Pick it up and press the corresponding buttons during the hacking mini-game to gain access to it. Once you gain access Congratulations, You’re an Engineer will unlock.
Gain access to Officer Taylor’s room
During Chapter 03 you will find an L5 security card on the corpse of A. Hoskins in the Canteen. Once you have this card you can backtrack to the Living Quarters area and enter W. Taylor’s room. As soon as you enter you will unlock Mi Casa Su Casa.
Find compound 26
During Chapter 04 you can access the Greenhouse. This is where H. Dunpart’s Office is located, specifically on the 2nd floor. Inside H. Dunpart’s Office is a locked safe that requires a pass code. The pass code itself (0721) was revealed in one of H. Dunpart’s audio logs in her Living Quarters. Enter the code into the safe and pick up the vial of Compound 26 to unlock Everything is Dust.
Visit all locations at Fort Solis
Collectible
It’s unclear what the game means in reference to “locations” as Cartographer unlocked for me despite never visiting the Security Hub on the surface. However, just in case this means visiting every room then it could be semi-missable and considered as a collectible trophy. Either way, if you follow along with our Fort Solis All Collectibles Guide you will unlock this trophy at the very end of Chapter 04.
Locate all crew members
There are 5 Crew Members to find in Fort Solis and all are covered in our Fort Solis All Collectibles Guide . All of them except N. Tout are unmissable as they show up as part of the story.
The 5 Crew Members and their brief locations are:
- O. Richardson – In the Med Bay
- H. Dunpart – Atrium (when trying to exit)
- N. Tout – In a Storage Container on the Surface next to the Maintenance Unit
- A. Naderi – Server Room
- A. Hoskins – Canteen (L5 Security Card needed)
W. Taylor may also be required for this trophy, however, since it’s impossible not to run into him his location isn’t needed.
Collect all audio logs, posters, emails and banners
All Audio Logs, Posters, Emails, and Banners are covered in our Fort Solis All Collectibles Guide .
View all Video Logs
Glitched/ Bugged
All Video Logs are covered in our Fort Solis All Collectibles Guide .
POTENTIAL BUG WARNING: It appears that Tragedy Documented is bugged at the moment with a 50% of it not unlocking. Some people have had no issues but others are reporting that it doesn’t unlock despite having 100% of the collectibles. The only thing you can do to try “un-bug” this trophy is to delete your save data and collect everything from scratch making sure to watch every video log in their entirety.
Phase Two - Optional Clean-Up
Take 3000 steps on the surface of Mars
Any time you’re on the surface of Mars in Fort Solis the game will track how many steps you take. To unlock Dust Dancing you need to walk a total of 3,000 steps. This should take you anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes to unlock so it’s recommended to load up a YouTube/Spotify playlist or watch something on Netflix while you attempt this trophy.
Experience the alternate ending
At the end of Chapter 04 you will have your final encounter with W. Taylor during which you will have to run on the surface of Mars to reach a hangar. To unlock the alternate ending you simply need to fail the QTEs while running to the hangar so that W. Taylor catches up with you and a struggle ensues.
Obtain all trophies
After collecting every trophy in this Fort Solis Trophy Guide, the "Fort Solis" Platinum Trophy will unlock. Congratulations!

Sci-fi psychological thriller Fort Solis puts players in the shoes of Jack Leary and Jessica Appleton, a pair of engineers on the planet Mars investigating a distress signal from a nearby mining outpost. BUG WARNING: Some players have reported that this trophy won’t unlock. The reason can possibly be that the Video Logs have been collected without being played – this happens when you access an computer and back out before you play the Video Logs, then they get save to the hand terminal and can be played from there ore the Main Menu.
Everytime you access a computer – play all Video Logs and surveillance videos.
NOTE: You don’t have to watch the full Video Logs, it’s enough to just play them.

A few moments into the final fights, you play Jacob again. After you leave airlock and are outside, you have to use the analog stick and mash X to escape. Don’t press anything in order to fail the QTE (Quick-Time-Event) – this will unlock the premature alternative ending for Fort Solis.

Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for Fort Solis. This is a story-oriented guide, so we recommend exploring the game by yourself first and only using the guide when you’re stuck!
For information on Fort Solis beyond this walkthrough, check out the official website here .
We start the game in the prologue, just before Chapter 1.
Follow the on-screen instructions to use your multi-tool. Then, go through the door on the platform you’re on and interact with the computer.
Exit through the door and activate the elevator controls to go down to the surface. Head over to the LTV in front of you to get in and get going to Fort Solis.
When you get to Fort Solis, go up the stairs and attempt to open the door there. You’ll learn that it’s locked.
Go back down the stairs and proceed to the equipment elevator straight ahead. Attempt to use the computer there, and you’ll learn that this is also locked.
Now go to the climbing equipment to the left of the elevator and follow the on-screen instructions to climb up.
When you see the title card for Chapter 1, go straight ahead to find the atrium entrance. Interact with the door here and override the door to enter.
Proceed straight ahead past a few doors into the Atrium. Once in the Atrium, go right and up the stairs.
Go to the corner of this floor opposite to the stairs you just came up. Here, you’ll find an i5 Power Cell, which you can use to power a door in the Atrium.
Go back down the stairs and head to the locator – which is a tall screen located to the right of the Stairwell/Elevator door. Interact with the locator a few times to get its maps downloaded.
Now go through the only door with a white light in the Atrium – the Offices & Conference Room door. Interact with the control panel for the next door to insert your i5 cell and gain access.
Once through, enter Office 2, which is to your left as you enter this area. Inside, you’ll find a computer and a “digi board” with the code to access the computer.
Interact with the computer and use the code ‘0807’ to gain access. On the computer interface, go right to the ‘Surveillance’ tab. Here, interact with the ‘Atrium A0’ option to unlock the door.
Return to the Atrium now and go to the door to the left of the Locator, which was previously lit red, but is now white.
Go down the stairs so that you get to Level B1. Interact with the white Crew Quarters door here to enter.
In Crew Quarters lobby, take a left and enter the Rec Room. Then, immediately take a right and use the door to the Canteen.
Proceed absolutely straight from here, past a couple of doors, until you reach a door marked ‘Exit’. Go through it and interact with the lock to reset it with some quick-time events.
Once you’re in, take a left and then another left. Proceed to the door marked ‘Claire Smith’, which appears to be broken. Enter through this door and you’ll find the yellow Level 1 keycard on a table. Interact with it.
Now exit this room and go through the hallway toward the Crew Bathroom. Look to the right for a door marked ‘Dawson Roberts’, with an L1 insignia on it. You can open this door now, as you have the Level 1 keycard.
You’ll get an i5 cell here, so grab it from the table.
Backtrack through Crew Quarters and use the L1 door at the end to access the Crew Quarters lobby. (Alternately, you can take the long way around through the Canteen corridor).
Return to the Stairwell from here and go down the stairs to the bottom floor.
Interact with the Medical Bay door and then the door beyond it. Use the access panel to insert your i5 cell and get through by overriding the lock.
Once in the medical bay, take a right to the door marked “B2 Subsection C” and enter the L1 door marked ’03’.
Interact with the computer in this room and switch to the Surveillance tab as before. Switch to the Medbay – Surgery Room option and unlock the door.
Now exit this room and return to the Medical Bay lobby. Take a right to the Surgery Room. Go forward and interact with what you find here. You’ll also find the Level 2 keycard automatically.
Go out of the Surgery room now for a automatic sequence. Interact with the emergency vent when you see the instructions for it, and continue through the vent.
After a while, you’ll be able to exit the vent. Proceed up the stairs now for another automatic sequence.
Once you regain control, open the Airlock door.
Interact with the body three times to finish this chapter and begin Chapter 2.
