The 1975 has announced the “Still… At Their Very Best” fall tour, the band’s biggest North American tour to date. The Matty Healy-led group will take their fifth album, “Being Funny in a Foreign Language,” across the U.S. and Canada for the second time since its October 2022 release.
The tour will kick off Sept. 26 in Sacramento, Calif., and end Dec. 2 in Seattle.
The band had teased the tour on social media throughout the month, posting vague visuals and linking to an online registration form.
“The album felt like you were watching something, like you were a witness to something,” frontman Matty Healy, who wrote the show and served as its creative director, told Variety in December . “And that was the idea with the show as well. We wanted it to be as experiential as the album was.”
The tour evolved throughout its initial North American run, from altered setlists to surprise guest cameos from Phoebe Bridgers and Bleachers. Healy made headlines for bringing fans onstage during “Robbers” and passionately kissing them.
Variety praised the band’s latest performance at Madison Square Garden , calling the concert a “captivating exposition from a band that embraces nearly every pop trope yet demands to be taken seriously.” The band will return to the famed New York City venue on Nov. 14.
A fan presale begins June 21 at 10 a.m. local time, while public tickets will go on sale June 23 at 10 a.m. on the 1975’s website .

In other The 1975 news, Healy recently responded to Noel Gallagher’s comments about him at a 1975 show in Dublin last week (June 7).
“Noel Gallagher called me a ‘slack-jawed fuckwit’… I love Noel Gallagher. We asked Liam to open up and he said he would have done it but he was busy,” he told the crowd.
“But I love Noel Gallagher… He’s just getting on,” he added. “The difference between me and Noel is that I do a series of interviews to promote an album, whereas he does an album to promote a series of interviews. But we love you Noel. Get Oasis back together!”
At the show, Healy also acted as the support slot for his own band, after Caroline Polachek pulled out at the last minute due to losing her voice .
In his stripped-back solo set, he performed covers of ‘I Just Don’t Think I’ll Ever Get Over You’ by Colin Hay, and Donny Hathaway’s ‘A Song For You’, which was performed alongside touring guitarist Jamie Squire. He also performed the live debut of their song ‘Then Because She Goes’ .

The 1975 announce 39-date North American tour
The massive still...at their very best tour features shows across the u.s. and canada, beginning in september of this year..
The 1975 have announced a behemoth run of shows in the U.S. and Canada slated for this fall. The band's Still...at their very best tour kicks off on September 26 at Sacramento's Golden 1 Center, and will wrap up almost three whole months later at Seattle's Climate Pledge Arena. In celebration, they've also released Episode 4 of their absurdist video series "A Theatrical Performance Of An Intimate Moment."
Still...at their very best is a continuation of the 1975's ongoing At Their Very Best tour, which has been marked by near-constant online discourse, mostly thanks to the antics of frontman Matty Healy. These include eating raw meat on stage, making out with fans, cameramen, and security guards, and — oh, yeah — dating Taylor Swift . These new shows promise an expanded production, but what that means is still anyone's guess.

Between the impressive staging, high concept performance art and surprise appearances from friends, the tour has been lauded as a band truly in their prime; a claim backed up by the plethora of five-star reviews from critics. The 1975 ‘Still … at their very best’ will set the bar even higher, featuring newly expanded production. Over the last decade, The 1975 have firmly established themselves the defining band of their generation with their distinctive aesthetic, passionate fanbase and unique sonic approach. Released last October, the band’s fifth studio album ‘Being Funny In A Foreign Language’ was met with lavish praise, with The FACE labeling it “an album of massive tunes, pristine production and sincere romanticism” and Rolling Stone vowing the album saw the band “reassert themselves at the forefront of 2020s pop-rock”. It outsold the rest of the Top 5 combined to land the band their fifth Official UK Number 1 album in a row. The band were also crowned ‘Best Rock/Alternative Act’ at the 2023 BRIT Awards. Today, The 1975 unveiled plans for an extensive North American tour and shared “Me & You Together Song” – the new song from Notes On A Conditional Form . Named as one of 2020’s most anticipated albums by Rolling Stone , Pitchfork and Vulture , Notes On A Conditional Form will be released on April 24 by Dirty Hit / Interscope Records.
Produced by Live Nation, the headline tour will kick off on April 27 at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston, TX. The run will include shows at The Forum in Los Angeles (May 7), Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO (May 11) and New York City’s Madison Square Garden (May 26). Phoebe Bridgers and Beabadoobee will support on most dates. The 1975 will also be performing at numerous 2020 festivals, including Bonnaroo. See below for itinerary.
The pre-order for pre-sale ticket access is available now at The1975.com and will run through Thursday, January 23, at 10:00 PM local time. Fans will receive a unique code granting them first access to the best seats and General Admission tickets via the artist ticket pre-sale, which runs from Wednesday, January 22, 10:00 AM local time through Thursday, January 23, 10:00 PM local time at The1975.com . Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, January 24, at 9:00 AM local time.
One dollar from each ticket sold will go to One Tree Planted , a non-profit organization that plants trees all over the world to fight climate change, protect biodiversity, empower communities and restore our planet. Their aim is to reforest the planet, one tree at a time.
“Me & You Together Song” debuted as the Hottest Record in the World earlier today when The 1975 performed it live on BBC Radio 1’s “Future Sounds with Annie Mac.”
Fans who pre-order Notes On A Conditional Form will instantly receive “Me & You Together Song” plus the opening track – “The 1975,” which features a Greta Thunberg monologue – and the singles “People” and “Frail State of Mind.” Placing “People” on its list of “The 100 Best Songs of 2019,” Pitchfork said, “The song is both a wake-up call and an admission of defeat—a balls-out strut to be played for the indifferent masses as the world burns.”
Notes On A Conditional Form is the follow-up to 2018’s A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships , the Manchester-based quartet’s third consecutive album to top The Official U.K. Albums chart. In the States, it claimed the No. 1 position on the Top Album Sales, Alternative Albums and Top Rock Albums charts. The single “Give Yourself A Try” has received a GRAMMY® nomination for Best Rock Song. The 1975 took honors for best British Group and British Album of the Year at the 2019 BRIT Awards and received two Ivor Novello awards – Songwriters Of The Year and Best Contemporary Song (“Love It If We Made It”).
After being named one of the best songs of 2018 by critics at The New York Times, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Vulture and NPR, “Love It If We Made It” also appeared on the Best Songs of the 2010s recaps. A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships and the band’s second studio album, I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it, were included on Pitchfork’s 200 Best Albums of the 2010s list .

The 1975 Announce New North American Tour Dates for the Fall
Matty Healy and company will hit 32 cities on their biggest North American tour to date
Samuel Bradley
Did you think they had forgotten about you, fans of The 1975 ?
The British alt-rockers announced Tuesday that they’ll hit the road once more with a series of new North American tour dates on a run titled “Still … at their very best.”
The band, featuring frontman Matty Healy , guitarist Adam Hann, bassist Ross MacDonald and drummer George Daniel, will play arenas including New York City’s Madison Square Garden and The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles in what is their biggest North American tour to date.
The “About You” singers kicked off their "At Their Very Best" tour last year, and have spent the last nine months touring the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
The dates come on the back of the October release of their fifth studio album Being Funny in a Foreign Language , which topped the UK album charts and cracked the Top 10 of the Billboard 200.
Healy, 34, recently praised the brotherhood he’s found among his bandmates during a concert in Vienna, Austria, noting that he’s “not very online at the moment,” but is aware he’s been the subject of some scrutiny following a brief romance with Taylor Swift .
"[Fans at] the front had some very beautiful signs that said 'You are loved.' That was very, very kind of you and I'm sure that it’s alluding to… As you're aware, I'm not very online at the moment and I'm sure people have just been calling me a c--- relentlessly. I've not been online," Healy told the crowd.
He gestured to his bandmates as he continued: "But what I have been with is with my boys and honestly as much as I appreciate that — it's so beautiful, and I thank you, but — I don't need it 'cause I've got them."
