He’s going “Back on the Road.” Drake announced his It’s All a Blur Tour with 21 Savage on Monday (March 13). The North American trek will kick off June 16 in New Orleans, and consists of 29 dates in arenas criss-crossing the country, with stops in New York, Los Angeles, Houston, Miami, Montreal and more, before wrapping on Sept. 5 in Glendale, Ariz.

Black Coffee Claims Drake & Lil Baby Are Working On a Joint Album

This idea is reflected in a video Drake posted to his Instagram account announcing the trek. The visual kicks off with a young, smiling Drake walking, looking hopeful. As it progresses, the video focuses on a billboard that reads “STARTED FROM THE BOTTOM.” From there, the visual shows clips of him performing as a younger man, before cutting to him working his magic in front of ever-growing crowds. There are also scenes of Drake cradling and bottle-feeding infant son Adonis — who was born in 2017 — hopping on a private jet, and more. The video ends with the name of the tour in black text on a yellow background.

Since Drake’s last tour, he’s released several new albums, including Her Loss with tourmate 21 Savage, which dropped in November. The set debuted and peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 , earning him his 12th topper on the all-genre tally. Honestly, Nevermind arrived just months earlier in June 2022 (No. 1 peak), and Certified Lover Boy in September 2021 (No. 1 for five weeks).

Tickets for the It’s All a Blur Tour, which is produced by Live Nation, will go on presale first with the Cash App Card on Wednesday (March 15) and Sprite on Thursday (March 16). General onsale kicks off Friday (March 17) at noon local time on DrakeRelated.com .

Drake's 'It's All A Blur' Tour Will Look Back At His Career

And he’s bringing 21 Savage.

Drake has announced his first North American headlining tour in five years — and he’s bringing 21 Savage along. The ‘It’s All A Blur’ tour kicks off this summer and will see the rappers playing major arenas throughout the U.S. and Canada during its 29+ date run.

Announced March 13, the tour kicks off June 16 in New Orleans, LA and wraps three months later on Sept. 5 in Glendale, AZ. In between, Drake and 21 Savage will hit most major U.S. cities playing two nights at each location, except New York City, where they’ll play four nights splitting between Brookyln’s Barclay’s Center and Manhattan’s Madison Square Garden. More dates are expected to be announced soon, as well as the rapper’s hometown shows in Toronto.

Drake’s last headlining tour was in 2018 for the Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour. It’s All A Blur , as its name indicates, will be a look-back of sorts at the last decade of the decorated rapper’s career (call it his ‘Eras Tour’). The run will be the first time Drake will be touring albums, Care Package , Dark Lane Demo Tapes , Certified Lover Boy , Honestly, Nevermind , and Her Loss , his 2022 joint record with 21 Savage. While 21 Savage is listed as the tour’s only official guest, it’s unclear if he’ll be opening, or will be performing jointly with Drake on stage.

Tickets start going on sale this week, March 13. Below, see everything to know about attending the tour including the full schedule, and how to buy tickets.

Drake Dodges Barrage of Bras and Delivers the Hits at Madison Square Garden

July 17th, 2023; Drake performs in front of a sold out crowd during night one of “It Was All A Blur” Tour at the Barclays Center (Brandon Todd/Branndannart/Barclays Center)

As Drake circled the stage at the center of New York’s Madison Square Garden, urging his fans in a heartfelt speech to be kind to one another, he got sidetracked as a barrage of bras came flying at him in rapid succession.

“It’s easy to pay no mind to… to… sorry, the bra really threw me off,” the hip-hop superstar sputtered Sunday night, kicking aside various undergarments. “I was trying to say something motivational.”

It was a moment of earnestness — overshadowed by boyish humor — that perfectly encapsulates Drake, a serious artist who, thank God, doesn’t take himself too seriously.

And boy were there bros, many of whom dressed up exactly like Drake, with matching hairstyles and trimmed beards. Bros hyping each other up and filming each other as they rap every word along with their idol. Bros in NYPD uniforms and badges giddily pulling out their phones to take videos of Drake while dealing with a seating dispute in the aisle. (Yes, that actually happened.)

Drake knows he has a tight grip on his fans, hilariously nodding to that fact by selling a tour T-shirt that says, “I Like What Drake Likes.” He spent much of the show singing and pointing directly at fans in the front row, who screamed back practically every word of every song. During “Laugh Now Cry Later,” the jumbotrons sniped men in the audience who were literally wiping tears from their eyes, overwhelmed with emotion.

And honestly, so was Drake, who paused the show multiple times to express his gratitude and devoted the final moments to honor the late fashion designer Virgil Abloh, noting that “his ideas and his energy is always with us.”

In a downtempo first act, Drake, dressed head to toe in camouflage, opened with “Take Care” deep cut “Look What You’ve Done” before segueing into “Marvin’s Room,” his heartbreak ballad to end all heartbreak ballads.

When he returned for the second set, wearing a military vest adorned with a Nike swoosh, he ascended from beneath the stage to the soaring overture of “Over,” the first single from his debut studio album “Thank Me Later.” For the next half-hour, the concert played like an electrifying highlight reel of Drake’s career, from “The Motto” to “Started From the Bottom” to “Know Yourself” to “Nonstop” to “Nice for What.” During “Headlines,” the stage turned into a Drake-bashing news chyron. On the floor-shaking “Sicko Mode,” he let the audience lead him to the beat drop. And with “God’s Plan,” Drake engaged both sides of the arena in a battle over who could sing a certain lyric louder — you know the one. The best part was that Drake seemed genuinely enthused to perform his decade-old hits, and to watch the crowd erupt as he transitioned from one to the next.

What followed was a less exciting third act in which Drake attempted to “turn Madison Square Garden into the club” with Rihanna’s “Work,” his EDM outing “Massive” and the dancehall-influenced “Controlla” and “One Dance.” From behind a DJ booth, Drake took celebratory shots with opener Lil Yachty, Zack Bia and Davido, among other close friends and collaborators.

Before the final set, Drake ceded the stage and shone a generous spotlight on 21 Savage, who performed a dozen of his own songs solo. Then, sporting yet another new outfit, Drake joined 21 onstage for “Knife Talk,” “Rich Flex” and a few tracks from their 2022 collaborative album “Her Loss.”

Before exiting the Garden, Drake took another stab at a motivational speech, in which he encouraged his fans to be grateful for being alive, and to spend more time with their families. And, in a spiel somewhere between inspiring and self-congratulatory, he went on about the people who doubted him on his road to success.

“A lot of people told me no,” Drake said to the sold-out arena. “You want to know who told me yes? Everybody in this building.”

Some might roll their eyes at one of music’s biggest stars continually framing himself as an underdog, and that’s fine. But the more Drake performs, breathing new life into old classics, with a heavy dose of sincerity, one thing becomes clear: It’s really hard to not like the guy.

Drake teases tour, new music, brings out Dipset, 21 Savage for Apollo Theater concert debut

Drake returned to the stage at the Apollo Theater on Sunday in New York City for a concert showcasing his biggest hits across his many eras. Pictured here, Drake invited rapper 21 Savage to perform on stage together.

NEW YORK – Drake is entering the new year with gratitude. His way of showing it is just slightly different from the average person.

The Canadian rapper returned to the stage on a Saturday night in January for the first time in years, making his debut at the Apollo Theater  – and thanking everyone who got him there.

The concert was a victory lap for Drake, who looked entirely in his element as he banged out hits and teased a summer tour and the possibility of new music.

He crafted the show to create vignettes that reflect his beginnings acting in "Degrassi" and writing rhymes in his bedroom; his rise in the face of record label rejection; and his influences and collaborators, many of whom he brought to the historic venue in Harlem.

"I wanted to make this a show about gratitude. This was a little story that we put together, my deep love for my family, for my dear friends and for each and every one of you that have been supporting me for a long time," he said. "We don't need to say how long, it's gonna make it sound like we're all getting old."

Celebrities in attendance included Justin and Hailey Bieber, A$AP Ferg, Kevin Durant, Ice Spice, Odell Beckham Jr. , Richie Akiva, Michael Rubin, Will Makris, as well as his mom Sandi and producer Noah "40" Shebib. Appearances from Dipset and 21 Savage capped off the show, the first of a two-night concert for Sirius XM's Sound 42, full of the rapper’s biggest and newest songs.

"I wanted to express how deeply grateful we are to be in this position," Drake said. "I've done a lot of reflecting the last few years, really realizing the type of lightning strike that this run has been. And it's really got kind of something to do with me, but it's got everything to do with us because I just feel like we've been relating to each other for so long."

The three-level venue, where Black legends ranging from James Brown and Billie Holiday to Stevie Wonder and Patti LaBelle have left their marks, served as a striking contrast to Drake's arena shows, channeling an intimate moment for the 36-year-old's first concert  since becoming a father .

Drake highlighted the various eras of his career, performing "Marvin's Room," "Best I Ever Had," "Hold On, We're Going Home," "One Dance," "God's Plan" and more.

He also teased the possibility of new projects in 2023.

"I've thought about a bunch of things in life, but at this moment in time, none of those things are stopping making music for you, so I'll be here for you for a little bit at least," Drake said. "I hope I can strike up some more emotions for you – maybe this year, I might get bored and make another one, who knows?"

He also playfully switched up the lyrics for “Started From the Bottom,” rapping, “This summer, man, I’m back on the road, $100 million for some shows.”

Drake performs with Dipset, wears Cam’ron’s original pink fur jacket

The Dipset crew – Jim Jones, Juelz Santana , Cam'ron and Freekey Zekey – sauntered out of a replica of Harlem bodega with their enviable New York swagger.

Amid "I Really Mean It," "Dipset Anthem" and Jones' "We Fly High," Drake revealed his outfit change from a Jimmy Brooks "Degrassi" jersey to a pink fur jacket and matching headband was not just paying homage to Cam'ron's iconic look – it was the same pink mink Cam'ron famously wore .

Before exiting the stage, the Dipset crew presented Drake with a custom diamond-encrusted bracelet to mark the evening.

21 Savage joins Drake on stage for 'Jimmy Cooks,' 'Rich Flex,' more live

Turns out, 21  can  do something for Drake, popping up to perform alongside him during the concert's final segment.

The cameo didn't even scratch the surface of the duo's biggest hits, which have spanned years and recently culminated in their 2022 joint album, "Her Loss." The crowd raged to "Rich Flex," "Jimmy Cooks," "Privileged Rappers," "Spin Bout U" and "Knife Talk."

Drake admitted being a little behind on learning his new material, joking, "I don’t know how to perform this yet, but I know the hook, though" (which is really all that matters).

21 Savage praised his collaborator for being there.

"Since the first day I met this (man in) 2015, every week at least I heard from him," 21 Savage said of Drake. Not about rap or music, just "'I'm checking on you, seeing how you doing, bro.' And he helped me every step of my career behind the scenes."

Drake ends Apollo Theater concert with 'a little old-fashioned New York sing-along,' gratitude

"Thank you for an incredible evening, I couldn't have asked for a better first show back. I'll be out and about on the road this year, so I hope to see a lot of the same faces," Drake said before closing the show with an oldie but goodie, "Legend," off his 2015 mixtape "If You're Reading This It's Too Late."

"I love you so much, and I appreciate you," Drake said. "I know it's cliché to say, but I would actually be absolutely nothing, face down in the mud, if it wasn't for each and every one of you, so thank you. It's been a lot of years, it's been a long time. Thank you so much, I love you. My name is Drake, I'm from Toronto, I don't know how the (expletive) I made it here, but we did, so thank you."

The show marked four years since his last tour, 2019's Assassination Vacation.

21 Savage performs onstage.

Fresh off a stint as the musical guest on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live,” 21 Savage is returning to the stage.

The 31-year-old British rapper just announced his ‘American Dream Tour’ — which shares a name with his recently released album — alongside special guests J.I.D. , Nardo Wick, and 21 Lil Harold that will send them to venues all over the U.S. and Canada this May and June.

Midway through the run, the Grammy winning artist is scheduled to swing into Queens, NY’s Governors Ball Music Festival on June 8 and Camden, NJ’s Freedom Mortgage Pavilion on June 9.

While 21 Savage has co-headlined with Drake and J. Cole these past few years, the ‘American Dream Tour’ will be his first proper headlining North American tour since 2019’s ‘I Am > I Was Tour.’

For those that want to see the “redrum” rapper spread his wings on the road this year, you can pick up tickets for all 2024 shows as soon as today.

Although inventory isn’t available on Ticketmaster until Friday, March 1, fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats before tickets are officially on sale.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

21 Savage new music

After six years since his last official studio album, 21 Savage dropped “American Dream” on Jan. 12, 2024.

His third record, comprised of 15 tracks, comments on the struggles 21 Savage faced to acquire his green card.

Once the music takes off — after a rousing spoken word intro — drum-heavy beats, retro samples and 21’s slick flow flood your eardrums.

For our money, “redrum,” “prove it” and “just like me” are “American Dream’s” standouts, although the record is all killer, no filler.

21 Savage special guests

At all shows, 21 Savage will bring a handful of up-and-coming rappers to the stage with him.

21 Savage controversy

Over the past decade, 21 Savage has run into a number of legal issues.

In 2014, he was convicted of felony drug charges in Atlanta; four years later, the rapper took a firearm out at a party.

The following year, in 2019, he turned himself in at a South Georgia jail after a warrant was put out for his arrest. Three years prior, he was paid $17,000 for a concert he never performed and didn’t return the money. He was released on his own recognizance soon after.

However, most notably, the British icon ran into immigration legal troubles after it was discovered his visa expired in 2006.

After years of back and forth, 21 Savage received his green card in October 2023.

Drake to Richly Flex on Tour With 21 Savage

Portrait of Justin Curto

The interviews and Vogue covers may have been fake, but trust Drake — the tour announcement is real. The rapper is teeing up his It’s All a Blur tour, his first outing in five years. And he’s getting 21 to do something else for him — join the run, off the success of their joint album, Her Loss . No, “It’s All a Blur” doesn’t refer to the multiple controversies around Her Loss . Per a press release, “The title, a celebration of the last decade, sums up Drake’s sentiment of the unprecedented run as he gets ready to hit the road.” (If the past ten years of Drake releases is a blur to you, that stretches back to Nothing Was the Same .) The notoriously nostalgic rapper reflected on the time that’s passed in a clip announcing the tour, from some of his past shows to the birth of his son. Call it an era tour, singular.

The 29-date tour kicks off June 16 in New Orleans and runs through September 5 in Glendale ( sorry, Swiftdale? ), Arizona. It includes multiple dates in Chicago, Atlanta, and Boston — not to mention in Manhattan and Brooklyn, plus Inglewood and Los Angeles. And yes, a press release promises, the Toronto dates are on their way. Drake has played a number of one-off gigs recently, and reflective ones at that, like a two-night stand at New York’s Apollo Theater and his October World Weekend , which featured a reunion with Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj. He also has a gig coming up headlining J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival . His last full tour, in 2018, was the Aubrey and the Three Migos tour with Migos. As for 21? He’s content to just do his thing and let Jimmy Cook .

Drake Brings Out Dipset & 21 Savage At Harlem Apollo Show

Drake enlisted help from Dipset and 21 Savage as he took fans on a “journey” through his career at the first of two shows at Harlem’s Apollo Theater.

During his intimate set at the iconic venue on Saturday night (January 21), which had been pushed back numerous times due to TakeOff’s death and “production delays,” the 6 God ran through hit singles and deep cuts alike as the stage transformed from his childhood bedroom to a record label boardroom.

Attendees included Kevin Durant, Odell Beckham Jr. and Ice Spice — who Drake allegedly dissed on his latest album Her Loss following reports that he unfollowed her on Instagram — as well as the Toronto rapper’s mother and longtime producer Noah “40” Shebib.

Towards the end of the concert, Drake brought out hometown heroes Dipset as the stage morphed into a Harlem bodega. Dressed in Cam’ron’s famous pink fur coat and hat, Drake played hypeman as Cam’ron , Jim Jones , Juelz Santana and Freekey Zekey tore through “I Really Mean It,” “Dipset Anthem” and “We Fly High (Ballin’).”

Before departing the stage, The Diplomats gifted Drizzy a custom OVO x Dipset bracelet, while The Boy paid tribute to the NYC crew’s influence .

“These guys right here from Harlem made us dress different, talk different, walk different, rap different — all the way in Canada,” he said.

Shooting back to present day, Drake then welcomed 21 Savage to the stage for several tracks from their 2022 joint album Her Loss , including “Rich Flex,” “Privileged Rappers” and “Spin Bout You,” as well as “Jimmy Cooks” and “Knife Talk.”

In between songs, the duo hinted at going on tour together in 2023, with Drake telling the crowd: “We’re gonna be out on the road this summer.” Details about an alleged It’s All a Blur Tour surfaced online prior to the show.

The Canadian hitmaker also teased the release of yet another new project — which would mark his fourth in three years — while giving a heartfelt speech to his fans.

“I appreciate all of those people that stick by me. I know it’s like a cool thing … to be like ‘fuck Drake’ … but I deeply appreciate everybody for continuing to support us,” he said.

Why Is Everyone Beefing With Drake?

By Jeff Ihaza

On the night of April 13, after the apparent leak of his diss track “ Push Ups (Drop & Give Me Fifty) ,” Drake posted a screenshot from the movie Kill Bill on his Instagram Story. It was the film’s iconic fight scene, during which Uma Thurman’s character takes on a room full of ninja assassins only to emerge victorious. The metaphor couldn’t be more applicable to Drake’s current situation, as he fends off what many are describing as “ Rap ’s Avengers,” out for blood since the release of Future and Metro Boomin ’s We Don’t Trust You .

The current flare-up of tensions appears to be dredging up dirty laundry going back several years at least. It finds Drizzy in the cross-hairs of several past collaborators and friends, suggesting a rift within a generation of hip-hop stars finally coming to a head. Here’s a running list of the players in rap’s burgeoning civil war.

Editor’s picks

The 250 greatest guitarists of all time, the 500 greatest albums of all time, the 50 worst decisions in movie history, every awful thing trump has promised to do in a second term, metro boomin.

Metro’s animosity towards Drake might also stem from Her Loss , as Metro expressed frustration at the record receiving more attention than his own Heroes & Villain s during awards season, tweeting “Yet her loss still keeps winning rap album of the year over H&V. proof that award shows are just politics and not for me,” before deleting the post moments later. Many fans believe Drake then responded during a livestream on the gambling platform Stake, where he said: “To the rest of you — the non-believers, the underachievers, the tweet and deleters — you guys make me sick to my stomach, fam.” Metro has since taken to social media with veiled jabs referring to taking “sides,” which by now seem like clear references to Drizzy.

Kendrick Lamar

Tupac estate demands drake take down 'taylor made freestyle' over ai vocals, rick ross' drake diss video is actually self-promo (and it's genius), drake mostly made himself look bad on his latest diss.

Rick Ross has been one of Drake’s most consistent collaborators over the years, so his appearance on Future and Metro Boomin’s We Don’t Trust You cut “Everyday Hustle” came as a surprise to many. But rumors have circulated online about possible friction between the two in the past. Even before diss tracks started flying, one of Rick Ross’ exes, Tia Kemp, went on Instagram Live and claimed that Ross habitually made negative comments behind Drake’s back. Ever since Drake sort-of-dropped “Push Ups” over the weekend, featuring a direct shot at “Ricky’s” age, Ross has been on attack mode. He started with his own diss track, “Champagne Moments,” featuring cover art of a viral yearbook photo of a white man from the Fifties that circulated online around 2019 because of his apparent resemblance to Drake. On the track, Ross repeatedly calls Drake “white boy,” in reference to his mixed-race background, and alleges that Drake only associated with street rappers early in his career to gain legitimacy. Since its release, the two have waged an all-out meme war online.

Another former collaborator taking shots at Drake is A$AP Rocky, who appeared on the We Don’t Trust You follow-up We Still Don’t Trust You. In his feature on the track “Show of Hands,” he says “Niggas in they feelings over women, what, you hurt or somethin’?/I smashed before you birthed, son, Flacko hit it first, son.” Drake and Rocky’s tension appears on the surface to be about Rocky’s current relationship with Rihanna, with whom he has two sons, and whom Drake infamously felt rejected by circa Thank Me Later . However, Rocky’s verse also recalls many of the rumors around Drake’s last public beef, with Pusha T. Back then, it was rumored that Rocky was responsible for leaking the information about Drake’s then-secret son Adonis to Pusha. Now, it seems Rocky might be claiming to have been with the mother of Drake’s son before him which, in fairness, is kind of an odd thing for the father of Rihanna’s children to be bragging about on a diss track.

Among the more random responses on Drake’s “Push Ups” is a reference to Ja Morant, the “hooper that be bustin’ out the griddy,” as Drake puts it. Apparently, Morant responded in affirmation to one of Metro Boomin’s cryptic posts about picking a side, and Drake took notice. The source of the tension between the two appears to be Drake dating the NBA star’s ex, the model and influencer Johanna Leia.

Soon after the shots started flying towards Drizzy, the rapper Nav reportedly unfollowed Drake on Instagram, the tell-tale sign of tension among celebrities. It’s unclear what, if anything, Nav is mad about, and fans online seem to find the Canadian artist’s involvement in the beef comedic more than anything.

In a way, all of this is J. Cole’s fault. It was his line on “First Person Shooter” that awoke Kendrick’s desire for smoke, and he even went as far as dropping a Kendrick diss of his own , only to retract it and apologize a few days later — before getting into it once again by appearing on the follow-up to Future and Metro’s album. The track “Red Leather,” from We Still Don’t Trust You , isn’t an outright diss, but a case of guilt by association. After all, Metro has been promoting both projects with the notion of picking a side, making Cole’s decision to collaborate with him and Future (mere days after ostensibly standing in defense of himself and Drizzy) either an unforced error or an act of war. For his part, Drake addressed the situation on “Push Ups,” rapping “I don’t care what Cole thinks, that Dot shit was weak as fuck.”

Travis Scott

Billie eilish would like to reintroduce herself, team trump is ready to lose the supreme court immunity case. they’re celebrating, taylor swift and jack antonoff have reached their limit, kanye west announces 'yeezy porn' amid reports of adult film company.

After Drake officially released his response track “Push Ups” to streaming platforms, longtime nemesis Kanye West joined in on the acrimony, jumping on a remix of Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That.” Kanye and Drake’s feud goes back to 2018, when Pusha T took shots at Drake on a Kanye-produced beat, which resulted in a series of responses on Drake’s “Duppy Freestyle,” and ended with Pusha T’s now infamous “The Story of Adidon.” Kanye and Drake’s tension continued after Ye dropped “Lift Yourself,” featuring a beat Drake allegedly expressed interest in and that Kanye decided to figuratively take a dump on. Internet rumors about Drake and Kim Kardashian, Kanye’s appearances on podcasts and on social media, as well as subliminal on Drake’s more recent releases, suggest the feud will go on into the foreseeable future.
