The show was very mismanaged. The staff was rude, the bouncers couldn't control the crowd. The building wasn't big enough to support that large of a crowd. Was a huge fire hazard. My fiance had to break up a fight due to the bouncers being I'll equipped to do so. We left before colt ford even came out. I will never attend another concert at that location again (surfer bar in Jacksonville beach). One of the bartenders was extremely rude, which I informed staff, so they threw us out and actually put their hands on me! I'm extremely disgusted!

I have never seen him live yet but I have listened to him a lot on the radio and on Music Tube were you can watch his videos for a lot of his songs he is one awesome singer I just love listening to his music and watching his videos I hope to see him here in Sturgis South Dakota at the Full Throttle Saloon during the Sturgis Bike Rally that is not very faraway I hope I'm not working that day and that we have the money to go see him because I really want to see him live in concert here at the Sturgis motorcycle rally in Sturgis, SD that would be so awesome!!! Keep up the awesome job Colt and never lose who you are and keep those roots deep in your soul cuz thats who you are love your work shelly

There are performers I will see every time they come through town no matter where I am and Colt Ford is one of those performers.  Ford and his band work hard traversing the country to get in front of as many fans – new and old – as they can year after year.  There are hits, fan favorites, deep cuts, and always a kick ass cover or two ibn the set so even for the few in the crowd that don’t proclaim they are fans, there will be something they know and most likely get into.  Colt has cultivated a setlist for his current run that swirls together tracks from throughout his career and that covers most of his catalog.  Kicking the show off with the pairing of “Answer to No One” and “Mr. Goodtime,” we are all off and running with a killer Country music soundtrack to guide us for the remainder of the evening.  Fiddle / guitar / banjo player and backup vocalist Justin David flanks Colt on the right with a smile on his face from first note until the last of the evening.  There are anecdotes, introductions, and plenty of banter to engage the crowd as the band transitions from song to song.  After a funk-filled rendition of “Dirty Side,” we are all given insight to the backdrop for the songs “No Trash In My Trailer” and “Chicken and Biscuits.”  Drummer Tim Haines keeps things locked in and on tempo from behind his kit as Colt guides us through his newest track “Keys To The Country.”  Never one to shy away from his love for Veterans and First Responders, Ford and crew launched into “Workin’ On.”  Guitarist Dylan Maloney rips through song after song with precision from behind his six-string helping guide the tracks stage left.  After a couple more Ford favorites, bassist Nick Velordi joins Colt on the mic treating the crowd to a cool version of “Hood.”  As we work toward the end of the set and show, Colt and his band take us for a ride with the sonic tandem of “Drivin’ Around Song” and “Country As Truck” and I can’t tell who knows the words better… the band or the crowd.  After “It’s All,” Ford and crew leave the stage for a few moments letting the crew stew and prepare for an encore that in my opinion is one of the best he has ever done (and I dug the hell out of his cover of Prince’s “Let’s Go Crazy” last tour).  Colt put his southern stamp on Linkin Park’s “In the End” and I still cannot believe how effing cool it was.  I was as pumped as the band and packed crowd as the song ebbed and flowed from verse to chorus to rap and back again.  A twister medley of “Satch Boogie,” “Washed In The Mud,” “Cold Beer,” “Waffle House,” and a cover of “Can’t You See” brought us all to the finish line as Colt aptly closed the show with arguably the biggest track he has has a hand in when he introduced “Dirt Road Anthem” and sent us all into the Florida air on a Friday night awaiting his next visit to the area.  I don’t care what genre you listen to, these guys are the real deal and are sure to please most everyone within earshot… be sure to grab your tickets when they roll through your town.

The California Mid-State Fair is pleased to announce that Colt Ford has been added to the star-studded 2022 Michelob Ultra Concert Series. Ford will be performing live on Tuesday, July 26 at 7:30 pm in the Main Grandstand Arena. The concert will be “Free” with paid Fair admission.

Colt Ford consistently blazes his own trail. By doing so, the Georgia singer, songwriter, rapper, musician, performer, and co-founder and co-owner of Average Joes Entertainment keeps up pace as country’s preeminent independent maverick.

By 2019, Colt built a series of staggering successes as he rose to mainstream notoriety. He notched five consecutive Top 10 debuts on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart with Declaration of Independence bowing at #1 in 2012. Two years later, Thanks for Listening ascended to the Top 10 of the Top 200, with the album reaching #1 on Billboard Rap & Independent charts. Meanwhile, he lobbed six songs onto the Hot Country Songs Chart with “Back” [feat. Jake Owen] going Top 40. Among many accolades, Ford received a nomination in the category of “Vocal Event of the Year” at the Academy of Country Music Awards for “Cold Beer” with Jamey Johnson.

Selling over 3 million albums, attracting millions of followers on social media and hitting 1 billion plus streams, the country rap pioneer’s dynamic discography spans collaborations with everyone from Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, and Jermaine Dupri to members of No Doubt, Lit, and Lady Antebellum. Additionally, he co-wrote Jason Aldean’s #1 hit “Dirt Road Anthem” and Brantley Gilbert’s #1 hit “Country Must Be Country Wide” as a behind-the-scenes force in the studio. Moreover, Ford’s solo tradition of genre-blurring continued on Love Hope Faith in 2017 by way of cuts such as “Reload” [feat. Taylor Ray Holbrook], his We The People, Volume 1 album and on into his Keys to the Country EP in 2021 with Kevin Gates, RVSHVD and more.

The dynamic Keys to the Country EP was produced by Noah Gordon and Colt Ford, with Shannon Houchins serving as Co-Producer (Colt and Shannon co-own Average Joes Entertainment). In between a marathon tour schedule, they recorded at Colt’s studio in Nashville. Throughout the process, the star pushed himself like never before, maintaining the hallmarks of his signature style, charting new territory, and hitting his most prolific stride to date alongside rapper, Kevin Gates in their well-received track, “Hood” with Jermaine Dupri.

On the Keys to the Country EP, Ford continues to evolve his artistry and—as only he can—amp things up even further. Fittingly, he introduces the EP with the first single “When Country Comes Back,” as the world was ending a near global shutdown.

“The Keys to the Country EP is really me,” he elaborates. “So much of my success is a result of the fact that I am my songs. You’re getting me in the lyrics! I don’t have chauffeurs, ten sports cars, or my own jet. That’s all cool, but I’m just ColtFord. It’s relatable.”

Ford continued to blur the lines of what country rap with “Hood” featuring world renowned rapper, Kevin Gates, and Jermaine Dupri. At heart, it’s a song about unification—no matter race, color, or religious affiliation. Music has a way of bringing people together, and that’s the exact message in this song.

Overall, the EP doubles as a soundtrack for positivity and living life to the fullest for these times. Of course, Ford preserves the right amount of grit and wit to liven and light up any party as his blend of Southern rock, modern country, and rap remains downright unbeatable. Alongside guests such as Vince Gill [“Keys to the Country”], Josh Mirenda [“My Town”], Matt Stell [“Bad Beer“], and more, his lead vocals and raps remain as robust and uniformly strong as ever. Nevertheless, “If I Didn’t Know Better” featuring Jana Kramer marks an emotional high watermark for the Keys to the Country EP. This vulnerable, vibrant, and vital ballad illuminates Ford’s impressive range as he carries a heart-wrenching hook to the heavens and back.

“I have to say ‘If I Didn’t Know Better’ is a real, true, and defining moment for me,” he admits. “It’s how I sing and where I feel good at. It’s a straight-up country power ballad that honestly every man in the world should listen to and realize what mistakes not to make. It changed a lot for me. Having Jana Kramer on the track was just icing on the cake. She is an incredible singer and fun to work with.”

As Ford kicks off his next powerful chapter, he holds nothing back on the Keys to the Country EP. “Listen to these tracks…you’ll know exactly who I am,” he leaves off. “Colt Ford is about God, family, friends, and America. I’m just a guy who loves life. I love people. I love knowing I could make a difference in somebody else’s life with a song. I hope you walk away with a smile on your face. I poured my heart and soul into this one. This ain’t a hobby. It’s life. The fans are the reason I’m here. I’m going to keep doing it for them. I feel like the luckiest man on planet earth, so I’m not stopping,” he laughs.

The 2022 California Mid-State Fair runs July 20 through July 31 and this year’s theme is “Full Steam Ahead!”

It seems that fans of Melbourne’s Closure In Moscow just can’t get enough. Days after wrapping up their Supreme Turbo Facilitator Tour (selling out all but one of the shows) the popular five piece have announced their Singularity Tour featuring headline dates in all capital cities.

The tour marks the beginning of what plans to be a super massive travel cycle for Closure In Moscow as they head across to the U.S on the Warped Tour playing all 44 shows.
