5 seconds of summer show setlist

5 Seconds of Summer are bringing their latest tour - The 5 Seconds of Summer Show - to UK shores this Autumn.

With performances planned in Glasgow, Manchester and London, the new tour will celebrate Luke, Ashton, Calum and Michael's latest record 5SOS5, which became their third UK Number 1 album after an extremely close race last year .

Having already toured the US, we have a pretty good idea of what the setlist for the UK leg of the 5 Seconds of Summer show will entail.

Across a mammoth near-30 songs packed into the setlist, the boys will take you on a journey throughout all of their studio albums - 5 Seconds of Summer (2014), Sounds Good Feels Good (2015), Youngblood (2018) and CALM (2020) joining tracks from last year's 5SOS5.

See below for the anticipated setlist for 5 Second of Summer's 2023 UK tour.

A Look Into the Songs on 5 Seconds of Summer's 2019 Tour Setlist!

5 Seconds of Summer and the Chainsmokers have joined forces once again – no, not for another song like "Who Do You Love" – this time, for a North American tour!

Both bands are teasing new material; the Chainsmokers are promoting the release of their upcoming third studio album World War Joy, and 5SOS are teasing fans with new music from their currently untitled fourth installment.

The World War Joy North American tour kicked off September 25 in Cincinnati and is expected to come to a close December 6 in Vancouver. No word yet on when the new 5SOS album will be released, but member Luke Hemmings says it's already complete.

"I can tell you that we’re going to put out a few songs, like more than usual, probably, I want to say four at least, before the album actually drops," he said .

"[The album] is done, I would say… hopefully it’s done! We’ve written all we could write at this point, but yeah it should be done and it’ll come out probably next year but we’ll have a bunch of music out before then."

We're already loving singles "Easier" and "Teeth," and we hope some more like them are on the way.

In the meantime, cue up our 5 Seconds of Summer 2019 Tour Setlist Playlist on Spotify , and keep reading to see what the boys are playing on the road right now!

"Easier"

"Easier" was the band's first solo release since 2018's comeback album, Youngblood. It was first teased on Twitter , and the band says they were inspired by synth-heavy groups from the 80s and 90s like Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears and Nine Inch Nails.

A subsequent Charlie Puth remix that features more layering of sounds and vocals was released in August.

"Amnesia"

"Amnesia" was the band's third single from their 2014 self-titled debut, written by Joel and Benji Madden of Good Charlotte. In a "Track by Track" interview, 5SOS explained the song's origin.

Ashton: This track on the album is called “Amnesia” and we wrote it, well we didn’t actually write this one. This was one of the only tracks that we haven’t written on our album.

Calum: The only track.

Ashton : I think it’s a standout for us because we have such a good relationship with the Madden brothers and it was incredible to write with them in the past. And they had this song…

Luke : …they said they had this song, they wrote it a while ago and couldn’t find anyone that it suited.

Michael: They said that they were like saving it for the special people.

Special people, indeed! "Amnesia" is also the boys' second most-played song ever, having been played live 359 times!

"Teeth"

"Teeth" was released as the second single for their new album, and was featured in the third season of "13 Reasons Why." The song features Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello on guitar, and veers more towards industrial pop than the band's traditional sound.

"My perfect balance of finding vulnerability with aggression," Callum said, about the song.

"I wasn’t a part of writing this song, so when I did hear it, I knew Ashton and Luke found another part of the soul of this band. I hope you sincerely love it as much as I do. We are in another growing phase…this time I see it more segregated instead of a collective in a positive way."

5SOS debuted "Teeth" on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" and have included it in every setlist so far on this tour.

"Youngblood"

Even though it was just released last year, this song has become an instant 5SOS staple. It peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the band's first top 10 single, as well as their highest-charting single to date.

The band worked on "Youngblood" with the same team that crafted Camila Cabello's "Havana."

"We had to move forward and test our songwriting and progress," Luke said . "It was the greatest thing we could do — we were hungry for something new and exciting. It felt like starting the band again!"

"Youngblood" has been certified multi-platinum in New Zealand and the boys' home country Australia, and has been certified platinum in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.
