Plans and Reports

What does TiCSA do?

TiCSA’s primary objectives are industry advocacy and business development.

We deliver industry programs and events to support business development and facilitate the sustainable growth of tourism businesses across South Australia.

Is TiCSA a government organisation?

No. TiCSA is a non-government, not-for-profit organisation. We are owned and operated by our members.

Is TiCSA different to the South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC)?

Yes. The South Australian Tourism Commission was established by the Government of South Australia. Their purpose is to promote South Australia as a tourism destination to intrastate, interstate and international audiences, attract new events and festivals, and develop tourism products.

Is TiCSA Government funded?

TiCSA receives partial funding from the Government of South Australia through the South Australian Tourism Commission to support some of our programs and events. This includes the South Australian Tourism Awards, the South Australian Tourism Conference, and Business Capabilities Program.

How can my business get involved?

You can get involved by joining the TiCSA community as a member or a partner.

TiCSA membership offers valuable opportunities to grow your business and develop your industry connections. Your membership level is dependent on your business’s full-time equivalent employees.

TiCSA is proud to have valuable partnerships with leading groups that are passionate about the tourism industry and business development. Our partnership model provides tailored platforms for organisations to raise their profile, make connections, and support our community.

How do I become Accredited?

TiCSA membership includes free access to the Quality Tourism Accredited Business program , which forms part of the national Quality Tourism Framework .

To begin the accreditation process, register and apply online via the Quality Tourism Australia Portal . From there, the TiCSA team will be in contact to support you through the process.

Learn more about the Quality Tourism Framework here .

Do I need to be an established business to become a member?

No, you do not need to be a fully established business to join the TiCSA community. Many members join us in the early stages of their journey to support and resources, develop their capabilities, and connect with other members of the industry.

Why am I receiving communications from TiCSA?

You may be receiving communications from TiCSA because:

  • You are a current or former member of TiCSA.
  • You are a current or former partner of TiCSA.
  • You have registered to join a TiCSA event, workshop, or webinar.

You can change your email preferences to ensure you only receive the content you’re interested in, or you can unsubscribe at any time.

Can you promote my business?

TiCSA is an industry association with the primary objectives of advocacy and business development. As such, we do not typically engage in any marketing or promotion of businesses to consumers.
