The Rolling Stones are going back on tour: How to get tickets to the 16 stadium dates

world tour rolling stones

Six decades after their first U.S. tour, the Rolling Stones are still commandeering stages.

The venerable rockers will embark on a 16-city jaunt April 28 in Houston to support their well-received new album , “Hackney Diamonds,” and plug into their extensive hits parade.

The stadium tour, sponsored by the age-appropriate AARP , will also hit cities including Las Vegas, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Los Angeles. The band will detour May 2 to play the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. local time Dec. 1 via ticketmaster.com.

It hasn't been too long since the band worked stadium stages: In September 2021, they resumed their No Filter tour , which had been on a 16-month pandemic delay.

Interested in going? Check out tickets at Vivid Seats , StubHub , SeatGeek , and Ticketmaster .

'I'm going to bust a gut and do it': Dolly Parton dug deep to become a 'Rockstar'

The Stones – Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood – are basking in a bit of a studio revival with “Hackney Diamonds,” their first new album since 2005 .

The album debuted at No. 1 on the U.K. albums chart and No. 3 on the Billboard 200 album chart, making them the first act with a top 10 album each decade since the 1960s.

The single, “Angry,” is nominated for best rock song at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 4. (The band has three career wins .)

“Hackney Diamonds” is also the Stones’ first album since drummer Charlie Watts died in 2021.

The band premiered songs from the album at an intimate, invitation-only show of a few hundred people at the Racket NYC club in October, running through a handful of visceral new tracks and leaning into classics including “Shattered” and “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” with youthful vigor. Lady Gaga, who sings on the album track “Sweet Sounds of Heaven,” joined Jagger for a thunderous duet.

No group embodies classic rock like The Rolling Stones. Over its six-decade career, the legendary band has defined rock ‘n’ roll with fun, energetic music rooted in the blues. Though new music genres come and go, The Rolling Stones’ simple, punchy rock sound has appealed to every new generation.

However, the band didn’t become a phenom overnight. The Rolling Stones started to build its music career before its official debut in 1962. It all began with rhythm guitarist/vocalist and frontman Mick Jagger and lead guitarist Keith Richards. The pair met when they were young while attending primary school together. Eventually, they drifted apart and encountered each other again by chance 10 years later. Thanks to their mutual friend Dick Taylor, Jagger and Richards discovered their collective love of music.

Soon enough, the three joined several bands, shaping their creative talents and honing their instrumental skills. After sparking interest among many local fans and new listeners, the group gained new members like rhythm guitarist Brian Jones, keyboardist Ian Stewart, and drummer Charlie Watts.

When 1962 arrived, Bill Wyman took Dick Taylor’s spot as bassist. The group’s success grew throughout the UK, especially with the help of tracks like “I Wanna Be Your Man” written by The Beatles. Paul McCartney and John Lennon exclusively penned the popular song and let The Rolling Stones elevate its rising reputation. Before releasing its self-titled debut album in 1964, The Rolling Stones landed chart spots in both the UK and U.S. The band was well on its way to becoming a household name.

As The Rolling Stones’ discography grew, so did the band’s popularity. Records like The Rolling Stones No. 2, 12 x 5, and The Rolling Stones, Now! laid a sturdy foundation for a future in music. However, the international smash “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” proved the band was here to stay. It sat comfortably on charts across the globe, including the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. Ultimately, it cleared the way for The Rolling Stones’ next studio album, Out of Our Heads.

The Rolling Stones followed up every big hit with even more renewed vigor. It dominated the 60s thanks to numerous studio albums and certified chart-topping singles like “Paint It Black,” Ruby Tuesday,” and “Mother’s Little Helper.” Then, it took over the 70s and 80s with a signature image and sound. The Rolling Stones stayed relevant and influential in the ever-changing music climate. As the band evolved, bandmates rotated in and out, resulting in the induction of newer members such as bassist and guitarist Ronnie Wood.

As rock music changed, The Rolling Stones never lost its spark. Adaptation and evolution were crucial in helping the group keep up with the times. Over the years, it constantly reinvented itself without straying from its original roots: fast-paced, energetic rock ‘n’ roll. The Rolling Stones continued to take over every era, including the current music scene. Its most recent LP Tattoo You hit the stands in 2021 and reminded the world the group was still going strong.

Although it faced many challenges, the band has remained true to loyal listeners and provided stellar shows across the globe. Numerous sold-out tours, live TV performances, and more allow fans to witness Jagger’s eccentric yet boisterous on-stage persona. Backed up by his friends and talented bandmates, the group provides a polished experience for every dedicated concertgoer. The Rolling Stones still tours today, with no signs of stopping.

Live reviews

Sixteen hours after I left my house, and 50 years after forming as a band, The Rolling Stones took the gigantic stage at 9:30pm. The empty seats filled in quickly once Sheeran had taken his leave. At 50,000 strong, it was quite a site to see the crowd on their feet as the Stones kicked off their 3rd performance at Arrowhead Stadium (their first was ’75, their latest was in ’89) with “Start Me Up” from Tattoo You. The song is over 30 years old, but was nothing more than a baby when compared to most of the set list. “It’s Only Rock ‘n Roll” and “Tumbling Dice” set the precedent for a show that would include mostly material from before I was born. “Doom And Gloom” was the exception to the rule, but served to prove that even a mediocre song can be more than magnificent in the right hands. If I’m being honest, the main reason I was seeing The Rolling Stones was to check them off my list of legends. I had heard stories, but I couldn’t wrap my head around that fact that a bunch of 70-year-olds could still put on an epic show. Sure, the giant screens and incredible soundsystem and fireworks were to be expected, I even figured they would sound pretty good, but nothing prepared me for how animated they would be. Mick Jagger was a diva less than half his age as he strutted his shit up and down the catwalk. Wardrobe changes, grabbing phones from the crowd to take selfies, reminiscing about things that happened back in ’74…he was on point the entire night. - See more at: http://ilistensoyoudonthaveto.com/2015/07/01/the-rolling-stones-arrowhead-stadium-06-27-15/#sthash.hANemdD3.dpuf

"I know it's only Rock and Roll but I like it". The Rolling Stones "live in concert" is an experience not to be missed. From the moment, Mick, Keith and the rest of Stones hit the stage until the final note of the encore - any room - no matter what size - will be filled with an energy level that is unparalleled!

No two concerts are ever the same when it comes to the "Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the world". If you have not yet seen the Rolling Stones I encourage you to do so. I loved seeing the Rolling Stones when growing up in Toronto - at every possible venue in the Stones "home away from home".

Each tour would feature band rehearsals at places like the Toronto airport hanger or at a local Bayview North Toronto school. Many a Stones tour would kick off in Toronto at Maple Leaf Gardens, CNE Stadium, Skydome and Air Canada Centre among others. Heck, when Keith Richards was busted in Toronto - he was sentenced to perform a charity concert for the CNIB in Oshawa.

I have most of the Rolling Stones catalogue of music and DVDs and have thoroughly enjoyed the groups who have played in an opening capacity with the Stones. They helped introduce us to Ike and Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder, George Thorogood and the Destroyers and the White Stripes among others! You will never go wrong buying a Stones concert ticket. Make sure you do before it is too late.

Hi there. The Rolling Stones in Prague the best show ever. The concert was absolutely amazing, fantastic, super great. The performance of the Rolling stones is in the highest quality, they are the living legend,I love them for ever and wish to all of them the best off everything. Thank you for unforgettable experience. So this was about the show, but I would like to tell you my worst nightmare I also had just before the concert. I bought three tickets from Viagogo office and to my horror I find out that the tickets were not valid and they were not in database. I paid 23.000KC.So to get to the event I've had to buy another three tickets for standing. THERE WAS MORE fans off the Rolling stones with some experience. I don't what to do about the matter. So this was MY best experience and the worst. Yours Luda Horakova Krasicka 53 Prostejov Czech republic .

It doesn't matter where you sit at a Stones show, it's going to be memorable. This was my first time seeing them, much of my family have seen them multiple times. Heinz Field is an ok venue. Being so far back, the sound was just a smidge off but the atmosphere was still awesome. It rained heavily most of the day but by some great fortune, the clouds parted and the weather was perfect right before showtime. The blazed through hit after hit, with fireworks and lights and spectacle. The best thing, however, is how much Mick Jagger moves and his dancing and prancing. The dude is 72 and still has all the energy and charisma he had back in the day. It's insane. I defy anyone who can find a better showman and frontman than Mick Jagger. Keith, Ronnie, Charlie and the backing band were all incendiary. 10/10 would see them again.

It was a wonderful concert! My group and I had so much fun! Although we were not so close to the stage, thanks to the 3 gigantic screens it was possible to enjoy the concert fully. Mick Jagger has so much energy!!! They not only played most of their best songs, but invited Juanes ( one of the most famous Colombian singers to play guitarr and sing one song together with Mick. The public went crazy! At the end also invited the Javeriana Chorus (also Colombian) to sing with the group. Great!

They started the concert with Jumping Jack Flash and then played as second a song picked by the colombian public in the internet. I found that very good.

My group and I flew from Venezuela to Bogotá for the concert

The Rolling Stones rock!!!!!

LOVED IT!!!!

I've seen several live performance by the Stones on TV and while I have been amazed by their energy levels considering their ages, I also have thought at times that their performances were lacking a bit. Boy, was I wrong after seeing them live at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City! Mick Jagger melted my face off with his energy, cockiness (man, does he strut!) and powerful vocals. They were on-point for the entire show, and I thought it was cool that they brought opener Ed Sheeran onstage as well. As a 30-something male, The Rolling Stones have always been on my bucket list, and I'm glad I had a chance to see them in person. I would definitely recommend their show and would go see them again. Hopefully they keep on rocking another 10-15 years!

The doors opened at 4:45pm ( late by 45 mins). Support act ( Richard Ashcroft) didn’t come on till 7pm and played for 45 minutes and they were really good. Stones came on at 8:15pm and played till 10:30. Utterly amazing, Mick Jagger can put on a show! The rest of the guys do look really, really old. I felt for Charlie Watts he looked sore..

However, £5.20 for a can of Tennats lager ( 89p in Morrisons) come on Murrayfield, you made a mental load of money. I’ve never seen so many pissed people at a concert, but enjoying themselves.

Other reviews suggested they set was 22 songs, I counted 19 so don’t know if we were short changed because of the 1030 curfew. Great concert, T shirts £30 come on guys ...

The Rolling Stones concert was absolutely amazing. The singing, the music, the lighting, the fireworks and those large screens were great. They strutted their stuff through all the favourite numbers and some other great songs. Before you go, read the list of items not allowed inside the concert because you will lose them. Handbags larger than A5 size not allowed, including bumbags, cameras and camera bags, to name a few. All in All, everything went very smoothly, everyone loved it and we all had an amazing night, never to be forgotten.

The greatest rock n roll band in the world - No doubt about it. Mick, Keef, Charlie and Ronnie were sensational. From the opening Street Fighting Man to the encores of Gimme Shelter and Satisfaction they were as great as ever. Mick was the imperious frontman, Keith the axe wielding lunatic, Charlie the rock upon which the driving rhythms of Paint it Black are built, Ronnie the joker whose rhythm guitar convinces you the Stones play the devil’s music. Sensational just sensational. It was a privilege to be there.

The news of the US tour comes just days after the rock veterans began teasing an upcoming announcement by showcasing their logo around the world .

Over the weekend, fans began noticing their famous tongue and lips logo popping up in public. For instance, in Denver, a giant red and black banner appeared showing the band’s signage displayed at the Empower Field at Mile High – home to the NFL’s Broncos, and in Cleveland, projections of the logo were seen on the Terminal Tower and at Browns Stadium.

Formula One fans spotted the tongue and lips design too, when it was placed atop two Aston Martins that took part in the Las Vegas Grand Prix on Saturday night (November 18). The hints of a tour announcement first began on Friday (November 17), however, when the band posted a cryptic visual with the caption: “Want to be the first to know? Enter your details here.”

The new tour comes in celebration of The Rolling Stones’ latest album ‘Hackney Diamonds’ – their first full-length LP since 2005.

Shared last month, the album featured guest appearances from the likes of Lady Gaga , Paul McCartney , Stevie Wonder and Elton John , and also saw the band top the charts.

Speaking with NME at the time , Ronnie Wood first teased plans to hit the road again when he revealed that it is a “must” to return to Glastonbury again.

“Me, I’d love it. I think it’s a must. If not next year, then,” he told NME . “If not the Stones then the Faces,” he added. “It’ll be me, Rod [Stewart] and [drummer] Kenney [Jones]. That’s not out of the question, you know. I know they want to do it…”

He also spoke more generally about the reality of touring again and showing off the new songs in a live setting, stating: “I have complete faith. We could play the whole album, you know what I mean? But [Mick and Keith] will go, ‘Oh no Ron, that’s so ambitious’. We’re not gonna forget the back catalogue. There are certain songs, ‘Paint It, Black’ and ‘(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction’, that have got to be played. We’re only making room for, say, three or five songs.”

The Rolling Stones are reportedly set to embark on a global tour in April 2024.

Keith is undecided on whether he would still want to be alive if they have their own Abba Voyage-style show with digital avatars replacing the band members.

Speaking to Matt Wilkinson on Apple Music 1, he said: "Well, I certainly wouldn't rule it out. I'm pretty sure that it is bound to happen. Do I want it? Now, that's another thing. But I don't know if I want to hang around that long enough, man. But at the same time, it won't be up to me, will it?"

Keith's comments came after Mick spoke about the possibility of the 'Angry' hitmakers living on with a "posthumous tour" with the band recreated on stage.

Although he didn't state whether his band would have a hologram show, it’s not the first time he’s mentioned it.

He told The Wall Street Journal: “You can have a posthumous business now, can’t you? You can have a posthumous tour. The technology has really moved on since the ABBA thing, which I was supposed to go to, but I missed it.”

The Rolling Stones Announce 2024 Stadium Tour in Support of 'Hackney Diamonds' Album — See the Dates!

The Rolling Stones' upcoming 16-date run marks the U.K. rock band's first U.S. concerts since 2019's No Filter Tour

MARK SELIGER

The Rolling Stones are taking Hackney Diamonds to North America!

On Tuesday, the legendary U.K. rock band announced the Stones Tour '24 Hackney Diamonds, sponsored by AARP, a 16-date run of stadium concerts across the United States and Canada set for next year.

Kicking off April 28 in Houston, the Rolling Stones will perform shows in cities including New Orleans, Las Vegas, Seattle, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and more before wrapping on July 17 in Santa Ana, California.

The Stones Tour '24 Hackney Diamonds marks the "Jumpin' Jack Flash" group's first time returning to the U.S. for an official string of concerts since 2019's No Filter Tour — as well as its first since the death of longtime drummer Charlie Watts in August 2021.

Tickets for the upcoming tour go on sale Dec. 1 at 10 a.m. local time, with more information available at the Rolling Stones' website .

Before releasing Hackney Diamonds last month, the band held an intimate concert at club Racket in New York City, where members Mick Jagger , Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood performed songs including such as “Shattered,” “Angry,” “Whole Wide World” and "Jumpin' Jack Flash."

The performance also included the live debut of Hackney Diamonds track "Sweet Sounds of Heaven" with a surprise appearance from Lady Gaga , who provides guest vocals on the song.

The Stones  announced  Hackney Diamonds   at a press event in London earlier this month, where Jagger, Richards and Wood took the stage to talk to  Jimmy Fallon  about the album.

"We wouldn't have put this album out if we didn't really like it," Jagger, 80, said to Fallon. "We must say that we are quite pleased with it. We’re not big-headed but we hope you like it."

In an emotional moment, the trio also touched on what it was like to record the album without Watts. "Ever since Charlie’s gone it’s different, he’s number four," Richards, 79, said. "He’s missing, he’s up there. Of course he's missed incredibly."

See below for the full list of Stones Tour '24 Hackney Diamonds dates.

The Stones will hit stadiums across the continent in support of their new album ‘Hackney Diamonds’

The Rolling Stones 2023 Mark Seliger Hackney Diamonds

UPDATED: November 29, 2023

The Rolling Stones are returning to North American next spring. The run will see frontman Mick Jagger, guitarist Keith Richards, and guitarist Ronnie Wood perform at stadiums across the continent. Produced by AEG and Concerts West, The Hackney Diamonds Tour kicks off on April 28, 2024 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, and wraps up on July 17 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The run includes stops in Los Angeles, Chicago, Orlando, Atlanta, and more.

In addition to their tour dates, The Rolling Stones will headline the 2024 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in New Orleans, Louisiana on May 2.

Due to overwhelming demand, additional performances have been added to the band’s 2024 schedule. Fans will have a second chance to see the group in select cities. Check out the band’s full updated tour itinerary below.

A special Rolling Stones Fan pre-sale for tickets begins today, Wednesday, November 29 at 12pm local time. General tickets go on sale next Friday, December 1 at 10am local time. The tour is sponsored by AARP, and members will also have exclusive access to a pre-sale.

On October 19, The Stones played a secret club show in New York City to launch the release of their new record. The invitation-only gig took place at Racket NYC (formerly Highline Ballroom). There were approximately 650 people at the show. Among those reportedly in attendance were GRAMMY® Award winners Elvis Costello and Diana Krall, Oscar-winning actress Rachel Weisz ( The Constant Gardener ,  The Mummy ), comedian and actor Chris Rock, actress and entrepreneur Mary-Kate Olsen, and star of the  007  franchise, actor Daniel Craig.

The band played a brief seven-song that began with “Shattered” from 1978’s  Some Girls . The debuted their new album’s lead single “Angry” next. They would also play “Whole Wide World” and “Bite My Head Off” from the new record. The Stones also treated fans to performances of their classic hits “Tumbling Dice” and “Jumpin’ Jack Flash.”

For the encore, they played another new song, “Sweet Sounds of Heaven” for the very first time. The track, from their new album, features none other than GRAMMY® Award winners Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder. To the surprise of all in attendance, Lady Gaga joined The Stones on stage for the performance.

In addition to Stevie Wonder and Lady Gaga, The Rolling Stones recruited Elton John and Paul McCartney to play on the record. Original bassist Bill Wyman is also featured on a song. This is the first time Wyman has collaborated with the group since 1989’s  Steel Wheels . Wyman was a member of The Rolling Stones from 1962 to 1993. Before his departure from the group, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame alongside them in 1989.

Their 23rd original studio effort,  Hackney Diamonds  will also be The Rolling Stones’ first album without founding drummer Charlie Watts who  passed away  at 80 in August of 2021. During a live-streaming event hosted by  The Tonight Show ‘s Jimmy Fallon, the band revealed that two tracks on the album – “Mess It Up” and “Live by the Sword” – were recorded in 2019 with Watts on drums.

“Ever since Charlie’s gone, it’s different,” guitarist Keith Richards said during the event. “He’s ‘Number Four.’”

Recorded at various locations around the world, including Henson Recording Studios, Los Angeles; Metropolis Studios, London; Sanctuary Studios, Nassau, Bahamas; Electric Lady Studios, New York; and The Hit Factory/Germano Studios, also in New York, The Rolling Stones’ new album was helmed by GRAMMY®-winning producer Andrew Watt. Watt, who won Producer of the Year at the 2021 GRAMMY® Awards, was behind the control panel for Ozzy Osbourne’s award-winning 2022 LP  Patient No. 9 . Recently, Watt has also worked with the likes of Post Malone, Maroon 5, and Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder, among others. For  Hackney Diamonds , The Stones’ longtime musical director Steve Jordan plays drums on the album.

The all-new Hackney Diamonds is be available in several formats including standard black vinyl, limited edition blue vinyl with alternate cover, limited edition CD + Blu-Ray box set, limited edition t-shirt or hat CD digipacks, standard CD, and CD digipack. The single “Angry” is also getting a physical release on CD, 7-inch red vinyl, and 10-inch black vinyl, while “Sweet Sounds of Heaven” is available on CD and 10-inch vinyl. Fans can order physical versions and save for streaming now.

To commemorate the release, the band has also curated a special merchandise line featuring Hackney Diamonds t-shirts, hoodies, a bomber jacket, a diamond-shaped whiskey glass, vinyl record drink coasters, an album lithograph, and much more. The Rolling Stones have also linked up with fashion designer Paul Smith to curate a  special collection  surrounding their new record. The exclusive line features three t-shirts, and a limited edition  Hackney Diamonds  vinyl LP with an alternate cover designed by Paul himself. On October 18, The Rolling Stones began  opening pop-up versions  of their London retail shop, RS No. 9, around the globe in New York, Los Angeles, and Tokyo.

Last week, The Stones continued to celebrate the release of their new album by revealing their very own rum – Crossfire Hurricane . The 80 proof Caribbean blend incorporates rums from Jamaica, Barbados, and the Dominican Republic that are perfectly aged for five years in carefully selected French oak barrels with a hint of caramelized bananas. The Stones have been in the liquor business for quite some time. In 2012, the band collaborated with Suntory to release a rare blend of Japanese whiskeys to celebrate the band’s 50th anniversary. The limited batch including a 50 year-old Yamazaki, which now re-sells for tens of thousands of dollars. In 2016, Jose Cuervo released a limited edition guitar case full of 250 Anniversario to commemorate the night back in 1972 when The Stones were introduced to the Tequila Sunrise at The Trident Bar in Sausalito, California, just before the launch of their 1972 U.S. tour.

The Stones’ last studio outing was 2005’s  A Bigger Bang . Four singles were released from the record – “Streets of Love, “Rough Justice,” “Rain Fall Down,” and “Biggest Mistake.” It peaked at No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart, and No. 3 on the Billboard 200. It was certified platinum in the U.S. by the RIAA.

In 2016, the band released  Blue & Lonesome , an album of blues covers, which garnered the group a GRAMMY® Award for Best Traditional Blues Album.

In 2020, The Rolling Stones were forced to cancel their No Filter Tour in America due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The dates were rescheduled, slated to start in September 0f 2021. After the death of Charlie Watts, who sat behind The Stones’ kit for more than half a century, the band decided to go ahead with the tour. The band’s longtime musical director Steve Jordan stepped in to play drums, at the request of Watts ahead of his passing.

Shakira’s ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’: All Tracks Ranked

Trending on billboard.

Mexican American singer Lupita Infante has released a new version of “Canto Del Bracero,” a song originally released by her grandfather, the iconic Mexican singer and actor Pedro Infante. The track shines a spotlight on the sacrifices and hardships experienced by immigrants, particularly Mexican laborers, in their pursuit of the so-called “American Dream.”

“I felt a special connection to this beautiful song by my grandfather, which speaks about the difficulties of being an immigrant living in this country,” Lupita said in a statement. “My maternal family (not Infantes), came to this country to work as braceros (Mexican agricultural laborers), and my mom would work on the grape vines. The lyrics of the track are about the braceros who came to this country in the hope of achieving their dreams of a better life but instead suffered. I wanted to bring my grandfather’s powerful message back to the forefront, as it still resonates true today.”

Shakira’s new album is finally here

Good things come to those who wait and Shakira’s fans have waited long enough. The Colombian hitmaker released Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran , her new album in seven years. The project, the superstar’s most personal album yet, takes her on a healing journey following a very public breakup. With this set, Shakira takes control of her narrative declaring that women no longer cry, a statement she made in her Bizarrap-produced music session that became a motto for women around the globe. “I hope that with this album you can celebrate, laugh, dance and find your own strength, just how I’ve found mine” Shakira said at an album release party in Miami on March 21.

Billboard ranked all of the songs on Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran . See which one took the No. 1 spot.

Concert tours to see this spring

Ring in the new season with a selection of live performances

The Rolling Stones pose for pictures

As 2024 enters its second quarter, the music industry is showing no signs of slowing down. Several top artists are planning show-stopping tours throughout the United States — and the world. Here are some of the most highly-anticipated concerts you can attend this coming spring.

Taylor Swift

Why not start with the biggest pop superstar on the planet? Taylor Swift is already getting ready to spin her fans into a frenzy with her upcoming album, "The Tortured Poets Department," and will supplement this by continuing her "Eras" tour — already the most successful concert tour in history. Swift is currently on a hiatus, but the Eras Tour will resume in Paris on May 9 and run through the spring and summer in 12 European countries, including the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and more, before coming back to North America this fall.

Olivia Rodrigo

Another pop sensation, Olivia Rodrigo, is building off the continued hype from her 2023 LP, "Guts." She is now embarking on "The Guts World Tour," the second tour for Rodrigo, who at only 21 already has a slew of Grammy nominations (and several wins) under her belt. This tour has made recent headlines over a contraception controversy surrounding abortion rights groups that promote at her concerts. Rodrigo will perform in seven North American cities through the end of April before heading overseas to Europe in May.

The Rolling Stones

An iconic group from the British Invasion is back with their first concert tour in two years. The Rolling Stones, considered one of the greatest rock bands in history, will embark on their "Hackney Diamonds" tour this April, playing in 16 North American cities through the end of July. Fans of the Stones should expect to "experience Mick, Keith and Ronnie play their most popular hits," the concert tour's page said, as well as hear "fan favorite deep cuts and music from their new album 'Hackney Diamonds.'" The album is the band's first original material in 18 years.

Madonna

Fans of Madonna can celebrate the singer on her aptly-named "Celebration Tour," the pop singer's 12th concert tour that will run through the end of April. Unlike prior tours, this outing is not in promotion of a new album — it is instead described as a "retrospective tour" highlighting Madonna's decades-long career. The tour began in the United Kingdom and made its way through European countries throughout 2023, but is currently running throughout the United States. It is slated to end with a series of five concerts in Mexico City.

Ever since he broke onto the world stage with 2013's "Take Me to Church," Hozier has been generating headlines. 2023 was no different, as Hozier released his successful third LP, and is now following it up with a tour. The tour , named after the album, " Unreal Unearth ," will travel to 28 U.S. cities from April to June before heading to Europe. Once across the pond, Hozier will tour numerous European cities before coming back to the U.S.

Blink-182 may be experts in "All the Small Things," but one thing that isn't small is the rock band's ongoing world tour. The tour comes on the heels of the band's tenth album, "One More Time...," and marks the return of guitarist Tom DeLonge, who had left the band nearly a decade prior. The tour has already produced a "healthy mix of nostalgia and adoration for the recently reunited classic lineup," Variety said. It is currently in South America, where Blink-182 will play shows through mid-April.

Bruce Springsteen

Bruce Springsteen was forced to go on hiatus from his world tour last year after suffering a bout of peptic ulcer disease — but now the Boss (and his E Street Band) is back. Springsteen relaunched his tour on March 19, sending a message to fans days before the show assuring them he was "going to rock you into the ground." Springsteen has since rescheduled the 24 shows he was forced to postpone, and is also slated to play additional shows in Europe and the U.S. throughout March, April and May.

Janet Jackson

Janet Jackson is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, garnering a heap of Grammy Awards and a spot in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Her latest move is the "Janet Jackson: Together Again" tour, a name harkening back to her hit 1997 album "The Velvet Rope." The youngest child of the iconic Jackson family has mainly been touring in the United States, though she has also featured stops in the Pacific. She will perform in the Bahamas in April, then return to the U.S. in May with her first concert at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.

Chris Stapleton

One of the biggest country music stars in the world is embarking on a U.S. tour to match. Chris Stapleton has begun his 2024 "All-American Road Show" to much fanfare, and it comes in conjunction with his third album, "Higher," being released in November of last year. The 10-time Grammy Award winner started the tour earlier this year, and will be crisscrossing the U.S. throughout the spring. This includes shows in North Dakota, Minnesota, California, Louisiana, Indiana, Florida and more. But the country star isn't limiting his tour to the spring, as Stapleton has a schedule of shows throughout 2024.

Mitski recently added additional tour dates to promote her seventh LP, "The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We," from last year. This means the singer-songwriter will be performing shows in an astounding 15 cities in the U.S., Mexico and Europe from March to May. The tour is the culmination of a meteoric rise; Mitski has recently leveraged the success of her hit single "My Love Mine All Mine," which was her first song to crack the Billboard Hot 100. She is also slated to write music for a Broadway adaptation of the Netflix series "The Queen's Gambit" and counts former President Barack Obama among her fans.

Twenty One Pilots Dream of Fresh Starts on New Song ‘Next Semester’

By Jon Blistein

Jon Blistein

Twenty One Pilots have shared the second song, “Next Semester,” from their upcoming album, Clancy , out May 17.

“Next Semester” is a restless blast of power-punk about wanting to begin again while still contending with what’s in the past. The song’s chorus centers around an inescapable memory, as Tyler Joseph sings: “I remember, I remember certain things/What I was wearing, the yellow dashes in the street/I prayed those lights would take me home/Then I heard, ‘Hey kid, get out of the road!’”

The song arrives with a music video directed by Andrew Donoho. It captures Twenty One Pilots playing “Next Semester” for a rapt, raucous crowd in a small club while also jumping to a scene similar to the one depicted in the chorus. The clip ends with Joseph leaving the stage and walking into the crowd as he strums a small guitar and sings the final refrain with help from everyone around him.

What to expect from Twenty One Pilots new album 'Clancy'

Last month, Twenty One Pilots returned with news of “Clancy” and released the album’s lead single “Overcompensate” alongside an accompanying official music video directed by Reel Bear Media. The track, which has rocketed up the Alternative Radio chart, currently residing in the Top 5, made a massive impact upon launch as it welcomed listeners back to the band’s immersive world of ‘Trench.’

"Clancy" is currently available for pre-order in a variety of physical formats including: two limited-edition deluxe box sets, four vinyl variants with additional retailer exclusives, an exclusive CD and journal book, a cassette and photocard wallet, and much more. How Twenty One Pilots conquered the world with 'Blurryface'

Having amassed more than 33 billion streams worldwide with more than three million tickets sold across global headlining tours, the Columbus, Ohio-based duo of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun have established themselves among the most successful bands of the 21st century and redefined the sound of a generation.

Co-produced by Joseph and Paul Meany, “Clancy” marks the final chapter in an ambitious multi-album narrative first introduced in the band's 2015 multi-Platinum breakthrough, “Blurryface.” The release of “Clancy” on May 17 coincides with the ninth anniversary of “Blurryface.”

Twenty One Pilots extended the ambitious concept laid out in “Blurryface” with their 2018 platinum album “Trench.” Featuring “Chlorine,” “My Blood” and the Grammy-nominated “Jumpsuit,” the album graced spots on “Best of” year-end lists by Billboard, KERRANG!, Alternative Press and Rock Sound, which ranked it No. 1.

The duo’s 2021 epic “Scaled And Icy” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Rock Albums and Alternative Albums charts while landing at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, marking the biggest opening week for a rock album in 2021. The record is highlighted by the No. 1 Alternative Radio hits “The Outside,” “Saturday,” and “Shy Away."

That last song scaled the top at the format in just three weeks, placing the duo in an elite group of acts with multiple songs to rise to No. 1 at the format in three weeks or less, including U2, R.E.M., the Cure, Linkin Park, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Foo Fighters.
