• Upon arrival at Noi Bai International airport, you will be greeted by our Guide and Driver and transferred to Hanoi,
• Explore historical Hanoi City with the visit to Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum & residence (Walk outside) , One Pillar Pagoda and Temple of Literature (The 1st University of Vietnam ).
• Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi
• Depart Hanoi for Ha Long Bay, the drive is approximately three hours.
• En route we have a short stop at the Sao Do arts and crafts centre run by handicapped children.
• Upon arrival at Ha Long, we will board our luxury junk boat for a delicious seafood lunch while our Junk is cruising around hundreds of wonderful limestone formations arising from emerald green water.
• After lunch we have the chance to explore one of the wonderful limestone caves dotted around the bay like Sung Sot (Amazing Cave. Continue cruising to a secluded spot for swimming and sunbathing before dinner.
• Enjoy another seafood feast for dinner. Overnight on the Junk.
• Rising to the lapping waters of the bay we have time for an early morning dip followed by breakfast.
• This morning we continue to cruise around the bay to find more secluded areas to either swim or kayak in. The kayaks are lightweight and easy to use. All guests will be issued with water buoyancy vests and the junk will always be near us serving as a backup vessel.
• At midday we will return to the main harbor before transferring to our awaiting vehicle for a 3-hour journey back to Hanoi.
• Then you will be free for shopping before having dinner.

• Breakfast at hotel then free until your transfer to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh city.

Vietnam is a Southeast Asian country on the South China Sea known for its beaches, rivers, Buddhist pagodas and bustling cities. Hanoi, the capital, pays homage to the nation’s iconic Communist-era leader, Ho Chi Minh, via a huge marble mausoleum. Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) has French colonial landmarks, plus Vietnamese War history museums and the Củ Chi tunnels, used by Viet Cong soldiers.

Cambodia is a Southeast Asian nation whose landscape spans low-lying plains, the Mekong Delta, mountains and Gulf of Thailand coastline. Phnom Penh, its capital, is home to the art deco Central Market, glittering Royal Palace and the National Museum's historical and archaeological exhibits. In the country's northwest are the ruins of Angkor Wat, a massive stone temple complex built during the Khmer Empire.

Arrival in Hanoi

Day 1: Bangalore-Hanoi :   Upon you arrive Hanoi,You will transfer to hotel for relax

Standard check in time: 14:00 PM. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay :  A trip to northern Vietnam would not be completed without a tour to breathtaking Ha Long Bay or the bay of descending dragons that is considered the eighth natural wonder of the world, in a country- incomparable coastal area of 1.600 square kilometers with 2000 limestone islands in various shapes. For one day tour, we'd introduce you to all the beauty of Halong Bay by cruising around the islands visiting the caves.

You will be picked up at your hotel and then driven to Ha Long Bay. You'll have a short break (about 20 minutes) on the half way before arriving in Halong tourist wharf at 11.45.

You will board a private boat and cruise through the most beautiful place of the bay with the famous islets such as Cock Fighting, Dinh Huong islets, etc. while enjoying fresh seafood lunch (on boat). You'll also visit Thien Cung Cave (havven grotto).

You will return to Ha Long tourist wharf and transfer back to Hanoi. We drop you off at your hotel. Your tour will finish at 8.00 pm. Overnight stay in Hanoi.

Hanoi City Tour

Day 3: Hanoi city full day  Tour :  Breakfast at hotel,

In the morning, visit the Presidential Palace (formerly Palace of the Governor-General of French Indochina), Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilt and nearby One Pillar Pagoda. Then take a short transfer to Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, which is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2010, a relic of a succession of dynasties. Dating back over a thousand years to the Chinese Tang dynasty, Hanoi's ancient citadel was the home of Vietnamese sovereigns going back to Dai Viet, when Hanoi was known as Thang Long. You will visit the ruins of royal palaces, a revolutionary bunker and the archeological site.

In the afternoon, you will visit the peaceful lake of Hoan Kiem with Ngoc Son temple and Cathedral - located in the heart of Hanoi Capital, Saint Joseph Cathedral is the representative evidence of the French colonial architecture. Familiarly called by the local as “The Big Church”, Saint Joseph Cathedral is the headquarters of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Hanoi for more than 4 million Catholics in the country. After that you will take an electric car about 15-20 minutes for explore the Hanoi Old Quarter before ending the day.

Hanoi flight to Siem Reap

Day 4: Hanoi flight to Siem Reap :  After breakfast at hotel,   you will free at your leisure, then you will transfer to Noi Bai airport for flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Arrival in Siem Reap by an afternoon flight. Siem Reap treasure of the kingdom. Warm welcome to all of you. Transfer to your hotel.

Siem Reap – Angkor Wat – Angkor Thom

Day 5: Siem Reap – Angkor Wat – Angkor Thom  : You will visit the West Gate of Angkor Thom – undiscovered by mass of tourists.

• The ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century),
• See the South Gate, Bayon Temple – unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara,
• Baphuon temple lying just to the north of Bayon a pyramidal representation of mythical Mont Meru,
• We step to see our old palace  Phimeankas temple in huge complex that was used for our king in the past time,
• Then Elephant terrace  platform for king and officers to view shows and people meeting,
• Preah Palilay older than Angkor Thom, deeply in the forest and on path back. You see monks sprinkle water to people.
• Ta Prohm “Tomb Raider” fame. Ta Prohm has been abandoned to the elements, a reminder that while empires rise and fall, the riotous power of nature marches on, oblivious to the dramas of human history.

We continue to the famous temple: Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology.

Tonle Sap Lake

Day 6: Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Lake - Phnom Penh :  Breakfast at the hotel. We will transfer to Tonle Sap Lake for a boat trip to visit  Kompong Phluk, where we will have the opportunity to learn about life on the lake. On the way, we will pass floating houses and impressive flooded forests, portraying life on the water. Return to mainland, the continue to Phnom Penh by overland take 6hours on the NR 6A, stop one time at Skun dist to take a rest, after arrival Phnom Penh through to check in hotel

Day 7: Phnom Penh city tour : Visit the Royal Palace compound build in 1866 by the Predecessors of King Norodom, it is the most conspicuous feature and also one of impressive colorful Khmer-style Palaces .

Nearside the Royal Palace is the Silver Pagoda (The Emerald Buddha temple), displays plenty of Buddha statues that were decorated and made by diamond, emerald, gold and silver. Travelers will proceed to visit Independence Monument which was constructed in 1954 after Cambodian took their country back from French colony, then visit the National Museum, the distinctive red building with a beautiful Khmer architecture was build in 1917 and contains more than 5000 art objects made of sandstone, bronze, silver, copper, wood and others.

This afternoon, we will learn about the dark side of Cambodia – Its more recent turbulent and harrowing history. Initially you visit the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum (also known as S21), ironically a former school, located in a quiet Phnom Penh suburb, this was the infamous Khmer Rouge prison / torture centre. Once you have gained an initial insight of the brutality of the Khmer Rouge regime you will be driven 15 km from Phnom Penh to visit the ‘Killing Fields’. This is where Toul Sleng prisoners were forcibly marched and then executed ; it is now a memorial site located in a beautiful tranquil setting .

Day 8: Phnom Penh departure :  Breakfast at hotel, transfer to Phnom Penh airport for departure to next destination. It’s time to say goodbye, we thank you for traveling with us and warmly welcome you to come again.

Vietnam and Cambodia - 12 Days. Departure every Monday from Hanoi

From booking to exit from Cambodia our private holiday was perfect. Legend Travel Group hosted by Toni Bui and Danny Nguyen were on the top of their game. There were many comms weeks before we travelled, and each one was clear and all requests accepted, with a reasonable charge of course. We were met at each airport and before each excursion by excellent guides and drivers. The guides were very well informed and enthusiastic. The best in Vietnam was Tiat in Saigon, but Tian in Hanoi, June in Hoi An and Borel in Phnom Penh, Ron and Raty in Siem Reap ere also good. We were able to determine our schedules and start times but relied on our guides to advise us which they did very well and politely. The drivers were excellent especially in Hanoi and Saigon where the traffic can only be seen to be believed! We went 5* with our hotel choices. They were variable in how 5* they were. Du Lac hotel in Hanoi was out of the French district but was only £1 ride in a Grab taxi, or 30 minutes walk. KOI resort and spa was lovely in Hoi A but was again away from the Old Town where the atmosphere was. A bit further out with a £1.50 Grab needed. It would have been better to be closer. The Majestic Hotel was lovely, in a great location. They tried to put us in a room without windows but quickly found another windowed room at the back of the hotel. It was okay but there was air con machine noise outside. The best 5* hotels were in Cambodia. The Palace Gate in Phnom Penh was literally outside the palace gates and also near nice restaurants etc. But again the room was next to a building site. Luckily our day started early to prepare for our excursions when building noise started at 7am. The best hotel of our trip was Angkor Village. An oasis in the middle of the city. Quiet, lush and peaceful. The staff were exemplary. Would definitely recommend these 2 Cambodian hotels. Throughout Danny was our point of contact via WhatsApp. He was responsive and helpful, and made every effort to make our holiday of a lifetime, perfect. And it was. Thank you to Danny and Toni.

Essential Vietnam & Cambodia

Excellent trip! Sony was an amazing guide. The itinerary is very busy but you feel like you really experience the area. The border crossings can be rough so prepare for this. Other than that, it’s great.

This tour exceeded our expectations! It is very reasonably priced and really great value. Hotels were all three stars+ with wonderful staff wherever we stayed. Guides and drivers were punctual and reliable. Guides in Ho Chi Minh and Siem Riep were exceptional and easy to understand. The tours were all informative and interesting; tour covers all important sites (except Golden Hand bridge). Breakfast, included every day, offered a range of choices. The restaurants are chosen for tourists - hygienic and safe. The food was FANTASTIC! This is a tour for people who want to experience the culture of Vietnam, not for people who want sanitized 5 star luxury. Great for older people as all the organization is done for you, but there are plenty of opportunities for free time as well. Danny, the tour operator, is an amazing person, who responded to any request we had immediately! Nothing was too much trouble for him; the same with the guides. As a an older solo traveller it can be daunting to travel to countries where the language is unfamiliar. The agents from Realisic Asia made contact prior to my travel date with helpful hints and recommendations. This support was offered throughout the journey. Lady HUONG was particularly helpful. She went above and beyond to assist me and also gave me a lovely tour of the markets late one afternoon which was not in the itinerary. My every question and request was dealt with promptly and satisfactorily. The itinerary was great and the additional experiences offered of high value. I particularly enjoyed the cooking class in Hoi An. The drivers and guides provided were helpful and knowledgeable. I can highly recommend Realistic Asia. My only concern is the way TourRadar markets the tour. I expected to be part of a group which would enable me to share my experiences and maybe even make some new friends. Instead I travelled totally alone the whole time and if not for the support offered by Realistic Asia this would not have been an experience I would look back on with pleasure.

Glimpse Of Indochina In 16 Days (Vietnam,Cambodia,Thailand,Laos)

My first trip to Asia and I would definitely be back hopefully soon. If there was any issue it was handled immediately and suggestions for other things to do and see were provided to me along the way. Additionally, being there during the rainy season was perfect. I mostly had excursions to myself so the one on one time with the locals was the best. From cooking Vietnamese lunch to sipping homemade adult liquids, all the way to having personal conversations with each and every tour guide. They all made me feel special and provided me with the insight to each country visited. Thank you ever so much for the hospitality and life long memories.

Cambodia Adventure

The tour was somewhat different more than expected in many respects. On the good side Angkor Wat was spectacular and the down side too much overland travel in such a short time. Most hotels where a little iffy leaving much to be desired. The guide was excellent and facilitated easy border crossing access. Although I have slept in many uncomfortable places, other than experiencing Cambodia village life the homestay was not memorable. Rod Asher January 2019

Special shout out to the cycling support teams in all three countries-- (but especially the team in Thailand). Overall I thought the tour was well organized and a great value. I appreciated the communication before and during my trip from Tony and Danny. Highly recommend!

The itinerary was interesting, hotels adequate and in most cases clean. Train ride was tiresome but we put it as life experience. Our CEO, Sita, was very enthusiastic and helpful. We had a great group of mostly older travelers so our needs were similar. We really enjoyed Halong Bay stay. The only change we would suggest was not getting up in the middle of the night to be at Angkor Wat so early. We waited for almost two hours in darkness waiting for sunrise and it wasn't worth it. We were so tired afterwards that we could not really enjoy visiting Angkor Wat temples. The local guides in Vietnam were very hard to understand (maybe find better ones?), so we've missed on some info. Cambodian guides were much better.

I would like to mention that this was my first guided tour with Veena world I enjoyed my trip throughout, I was sharing one room with Mukund Ajgaonkar. We were the senior most members of this tour. I was really Surprised and taken aback when my Birthday was announced by Mr. Satish to the rest of the group at the airport tself. Later on reaching the Hotel I had even a greater surprise to find the room decorated lavishly and a wonderful Cake with my name on it We all shared the Cake and I got my first chance to introduce myself. At every hotel we were promptly give a wakeup call, had good spread of breakfast and left the Hotels on time Meals during Lunch and dinner were Arranged well. The guides and Satish kept us well Informed and clarified each one's doubts very well. The whole trip was managed very well due specially the constant and Patient listening by Mr. Satish.
