The Interrupters Announce North American Co-Headline Tour with Frank Turner for 2023
Tickets On-Sale Friday, Dec. 16 at 10 AM Local
“an interrupters show is both a raucous affair and a communal one—a mosh pit with fists in the air one minute, hundreds of voices joyfully singing and smiling in unison the next.” – entertainment weekly, “[the interrupters] energetic, sauna-hot live shows have felt more like family gatherings than gigs” — kerrang, “who better than frank turner to underscore the imminent joy of reconnecting with others generally, this sort of earnestness can be wearying, but turner succeeds because he sounds like he’s just stomped out of a stuffy meeting to go yell on a street corner, frantic with euphoria.” — the new york times.
On the verge of wrapping their massively successful summer/fall tour dates, The Interrupters have announced a tour, produced by Live Nation, that will kick off on April 20, 2023 in Portland, OR running through June 3 in Anaheim, CA. Frank Turner will co-headline on select dates throughout the tour with additional special guests joining in every city.
Tickets will be available here on Friday, Dec. 16 at 10 AM local time
“With the recent release of our fourth album In The Wild , we are so excited to get back out on the road and celebrate live music across the U.S. and Canada with the incredibly talented Frank Turner and so many of our amazing friends,” The Interrupters share. “We are honored to have Hepcat, Laura Jane Grace, Chuck Regan, Bedouin Soundclash, The Skints, The Bandulus, and Left Alone on select dates with us. We can’t wait to see you all! This is gonna be a party!!”
“After doing 50 states in 50 days last summer, I was wondering how you follow that, in terms of touring the USA…” Frank Turner shares. “And now I know – team up with one of the best punk bands out there. I’m really excited to share a stage with The Interrupters , it feels like a meeting of minds and music. I can’t wait to hit the road.”
The Interrupters released their fourth studio album In The Wild this past summer, which has been regarded as “the best songs the Interrupters have ever written…beyond even the incredible candor is an ambitious musicality” ( Alternative Press ). Along with their 2023 tour announcement, the band has also dropped a stripped-back, acoustic rendition of their song “ Raised By Wolves ,” which they performed live at the KROQ DTS Sound Space earlier this year. This past weekend saw the band performing at KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas alongside The Black Keys, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Imagine Dragons at Los Angeles’ The Kia Forum.

About The Interrupters:
Formed in 2011, The Interrupters came together when the Bivona brothers—guitarist Kevin Bivona, bassist Justin Bivona, and drummer Jesse Bivona—found themselves on various bills with Aimee (Interrupter) as a solo artist. Upon bonding over musical tastes, the four formed The Interrupters and delivered their self-titled debut in 2014 . The Interrupters have shared stages with bands such as Rancid, blink-182, Green Day, Bad Religion, and many other stalwarts of the punk scene solidifying the band’s status as a dynamic force. The band released their fourth studio album In The Wild in August 2022.
About Frank Turner:
Frank Turner is one of the UK’s most successful artists. He’s released 9 studio albums in his 17-year solo career, the most recent of which, FTHC (Feb. 2022) became his first #1 hit on the UK Official Album Chart. His previous four albums have all peaked at #2 or #3 in the chart. Having sold over a million albums worldwide, he has scored three gold-certified albums and one silver status. He has just completed the ambitious 50 States in 50 Days tour – the first non-US citizen to do so and his award-winning 4 day festival, Lost Evenings, just concluded in Berlin.

FRANK TURNER | AUSTRALIAN SOLO SHOWS MARCH/APRIL
🔥 Tickets On Sale Now!
English folk-punk singer-songwriter Frank Turner has announced he’s handpicked a few towns to perform some special solo shows while he’s in the country for Bluesfest and The Counting Crows tour. The lucky locations are Darwin, Hobart & Newcastle with tickets on sale now!
The upcoming dates will mark Turner’s first visit to Australia in over four years. He last toured the country in late 2018. A planned 2020 tour was later cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Since Turner last performed in Australia, he has released two more albums: 2019’s ‘ No Man’s Land ’ – a concept album about various women throughout history – along with last year’s ‘ FTHC ’.
The latter album saw Turner confront themes like the death of his friend – Frightened Rabbit front man Scott Hutchison – on ‘ A Wave Across a Bay ’, examine his new relationship with his trans parent on ‘ Miranda ’, and collaborate with Biffy Clyro‘s Simon Neil on ‘ The Resurrectionists ’.
In his home country, the brilliantly brash and honest record scored Turner his first-ever UK number one album. His previous four albums have all peaked at #2 or #3 in the chart. Having sold over a million albums worldwide, he has scored three gold-certified albums and one silver status.
Fans and music lovers alike can expect a magnetic show from Turner delivering his yearningly honest and heartfelt punk-tinged catalogue.

Recent tour reviews
Frank Turner was the only good thing about this show. It was a load of “acts” doing Clash covers, culminating with Frank.
Performances were supposed to start at 7:30 (the time we got there), but they didn’t start til 9pm!
What was even worse, was that to keep us “entertained”, some supposedly-established BBC Radio Ulster DJ forced us to endure 1.5 hrs of easily the most dreadful collection of Clash covers ever!!
We had to retire to the bar downstairs to escape, and save us from deliberately busting our ear drums; it really was truly awful.
The main band were decent, and the female bass player was very, very good, as was the female drummer. The guest artists and singers were dire!!
Had Frank not been headlining, there’s no way we’d have stayed til the end!!
But Frank eventually came on for 3 songs, and made all the others look like complete embarrassments!!
If you’ve never seen Frank Turner live, treat yourself ASAP!! He is so passionate about his performance, and his band (the Sleeping Souls), are awesome and gel with him perfectly.
The only good thing about the night I suppose, was that the ticket money went to charity, and wasn’t paying the dreadful “artists” we had to endure!!
Never, ever again!!

As always Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls put on an incredible performance. The high energy electrified the Cannery, which was a perfect venue for FT’s amazing ability to relate to his fans.
On the downside, there was a musically dark tone to some of the more political songs from the new album. I’ve slways appreciated FT’s ability to make his point without insulting people who have different opinions than his. It’s one of the reasons I’m a big fan. I respect his opinions and appreciate his contribution to the conversation.
I can’t say that about some of his opening acts on this tour. Bad Cop Bad Cop, didn’t seem to care much about letting anyone else’s opinions get between their version of truth and any other possible version of reality. And his opener for the UK leg of the tour, Derek Zanetti - Homless Gospel Choir, was positivity insulting. I get that others need to express themselves, but on a tour advocating “Be More Kind”, I didn’t feel much of that from them.
7th time aseeing FT live so this won't be a balanced review obviously.
I'm slowly converting everyone around me one by one and as soon as they sample Frank live, that's it, you're the fish on the hook.
This night in Leicester was new album release day so there was an extra buzz in the air. These smaller venues Frank plays (>2000) are made for him. The crowd dance and party and sing along with every song, even the brand new stuff. Sweat dripping off you, ears ringing.
You can spend £30 on drink or illegal substances and wouldn't get the high you get from a Frank Turner gig. That's the truth.
If you happen to be reading this review considering buying a ticket to a Frank Turner show...BE CAREFUL. THERE'S NO GOING BACK!!
