Guests ready to traverse the world can book the full Ultimate World Cruise today or choose from any of the four expeditions that will offer a wide range of destinations as soon as December 2021 – the Americas, Asia-Pacific, the Mediterranean and Northern Europe:

  • Ultimate Americas Dec. 10, 2023 - Feb. 11, 2024 – Three continents, 36 destinations, four wonders The once-in-a-lifetime journey begins in Miami, the cruise capital of the world, and sets course for postcard-perfect Caribbean destinations – like the ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao) – before heading to glacier-studded Antarctica and around Cape Horn. Travelers can take in four of the world’s stunning wonders along the way in Central and South America, including Chichen Itza in Cozumel, Mexico; the largest art deco sculpture in the world, Christ the Redeemer , in Rio de Janeiro – where they’ll celebrate New Year’s Eve – and the largest waterfall system on the planet, Iguazu Falls near Buenos Aires, Argentina. One of the most iconic symbols of ancient Inca civilization and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Machu Picchu , awaits in Peru, while sunshine and glamour will welcome guests in Los Angeles.
  • Ultimate Asia-Pacific Feb. 11 - May 9, 2024 – Three continents, 40 destinations, three wonders Guests will venture miles from the ordinary in Oceania, Asia and beyond on the cruise’s next showstopping leg. They can discover the beauty and adventure throughout the Hawaiian Islands’ world-renowned mountainous landscapes and black sand beaches before sailing south to Moorea and Tahiti, French Polynesia, for sapphire blue skies and crystal-clear waters. The thrills continue with an exploration of New Zealand, before a deep-dive into Australia’s Great Barrier Reef – the only living thing on the planet that’s visible from space. Pristine natural beauty in Bali, Indonesia, is soon followed by two of the most iconic manmade world wonders, the Great Wall of China and India’s Taj Mahal , and gems of the South Pacific – from Vietnam to Malaysia. Rounding out the expedition are endless possibilities in Japan, with unparalleled culture in Tokyo, street food in Osaka and the tropical beaches of Okinawa.
  • Ultimate Middle East and Med May 9 - July 10, 2024 – Three continents, 44 destinations, four wonders This expedition begins in glamorous Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and brings many of history’s greatest mysteries, myths and legends to life. Adventurers can uncover ancient sites and more world wonders from the times of emperors and pharaohs, like Jordan’s lost city of Petra , the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt, Temple of Artemis in Ephesus, Turkey, and the Colosseum in Rome. There are also less-traveled places to explore, such as Greece’s Olympia, once a sanctuary site to honor Zeus and the location of the first Olympic games. The journey only continues to even more destinations known for their storied history — like Split, Croatia, and Cannes and Provence in France.
  • Ultimate Europe and Beyond July 10 - Sept. 10, 2024 – Three continents, 40 destinations The final leg of the Ultimate World Cruise is an immersive, cultural experience that begins in the Mediterranean and heads north. At travelers’ fingertips is the opportunity to discover Barcelona’s brilliant architecture, including Antoni Gaudi’s famed Sagrada Familia and whimsical Park Guell , and savor new flavors across continents — such as an indulgent lunch in a Parisian bistro and a dinner of tagine and mint tea in Morocco. Museums, theaters and galleries line the streets of St. Petersburg, Russia, while larger-than-life fjords await in Norway. Guests can reflect on their epic voyage in the geothermal waters of the Blue Lagoon in Iceland before visiting New York on their way back to Miami.

Globetrotters will explore the world in style on board Serenade , thanks to Royal Caribbean’s award-winning experiences and amenities. And adventurers can stay close to the action with the ship’s acres of glass, which offer panoramic views, as they cruise from one destination, continent and world wonder to the next. From start to finish, guests who book the full Ultimate World Cruise can expect a seamless, world-class travel experience that includes business class airfare, premium transportation as well as an evening of festivities and accommodations at a five-star hotel before setting sail. Plus, Crown & Anchor Society Platinum status members and above will receive a bonus Seven New World Wonders shore excursion package in addition to other perks, including a Deluxe Beverage package, VOOM Wi-Fi, laundry service and more.

Bookings for the entire Ultimate World Cruise open today for Diamond and above Crown & Anchor Society members. Guests interested in booking can call Royal Caribbean’s dedicated line for the Ultimate World Cruise at 800-423-2100 (US toll free) or their travel advisor.

Insider Today

Royal Caribbean is launching a 274-night cruise around the world to set sail in 2023.

Prices start at $61,000 per person.

In a press release on Wednesday, the cruise line said it was "the longest and most comprehensive world cruise out there."

The company said the Ultimate World Cruise, set to depart from Miami, would visit more than 150 destinations in 65 countries on all seven continents.

Royal Caribbean said stops would include Casablanca in Morocco; the Great Barrier Reef in Australia; Antarctica; Brazil, where passengers can see the Christ the Redeemer statue on New Year's Eve; and Beijing.

The cruise starts at $61,000 per person

The inaugural cruise is scheduled to depart from Miami on December 10, 2023, and return on September 10, 2024.

Passengers would travel on the Serenade of the Seas , which has 13 decks and a mini-golf course, an arcade, a rock-climbing wall, a pool, a theater, and a spa. The ship can accommodate almost 2,500 passengers and more than 800 crew members, Royal Caribbean said.

Prices start at $61,000 for a person in an interior stateroom, rising to $65,000 for an oceanview stateroom and $79,000 for a balcony stateroom. A stay in a junior suite starts at $112,000 per person.

Royal Caribbean said passengers would get a 10% discount if they pay in full by January 6, 2023.

The pandemic ground world travel to a halt last year, and cruise lines' revenue plummeted . Carnival Cruises said in June 2020 that it would sell six cruise ships after posting a $4.4 billion loss.

With the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines, the industry has rebounded .

"Now more than ever, people have resolved to travel the world and make up for lost time," Michael Bayley, the president and CEO of Royal Caribbean, said in the press release.

The Ultimate World Cruise is split into four legs: the Americas and Antarctica, Asia and the Pacific, the Middle East and the Mediterranean, and northern Europe. Passengers can book them individually rather than opting for the full nine-month trip.

Bookings opened on Wednesday for Royal Caribbean's loyalty-program members at the diamond level or above and will open on October 27 for all other passengers, the company said.

Royal Caribbean said it would announce prices for the four individual legs of the trip when bookings for them open in December.

The epic nine-month-long holiday is a first-of-its-kind for the cruise liner, and they’re not surprised it’s gone viral on TikTok despite having hit shores just over a week ago. ( Related : Best cruise lines review ).

“Many guests booked their tickets over two to three years ago during the pandemic and we are thrilled to be hosting a range of guests from young solo travelers, to couples and families,” Dave Humpreys, director of sales at Royal Caribbean International AUNZ, told news.com.au.

“We have an impressive number of Gen Z and millennial cruisers, with a significant number of guests between the ages of 18-30 joining us on various legs of this cruise.”

Just as the name suggests, it’s a pretty ‘ultimate’ experience, with the cruise traveling to more than 60 countries and 11 wonders of the world in 274 days.

The cruise is broken into four segments — Ultimate Americas Cruise, Ultimate Asia Pacific Cruise, Ultimate Middle East & Med Cruise and Ultimate Europe & Beyond Cruise.

Depending on the destination and room you choose, prices can vary from $19,895 to $37,268.

But, if you want to do the full nine months, the price tag is a lot heftier . The cheapest is $88,000 for an interior stateroom, and up to $1.2 million per person for a Royal Suite.

“The business class airfare applies to specific getaway cities. The package also includes a beverage package, laundry services, inclusive gratuities and a VOOM Surf and Stream package.”

TikTok has become inundated with passengers sharing their experiences so far from the meals they’re eating, restaurants they’re visiting, gym classes they’re taking, to glimpses of what their rooms look like and the entertainment and performances they’re attending.

“I am LIVING for your videos. Please pretty please don’t stop. Greedily. I will beg you to post more,” one viewer commented on a passenger’s ‘sea day in my life’ clip.

Mr. Humpreys said along with the wider TikTok community, they also can’t wait to virtually join some of these guests.

“There will be 27,000 passengers on the various legs, of which over 600 are sailing for the full nine months,” he told news.com.au.

“We have almost 2,000 Australians joining us along the way, including 30 Aussies who are doing the full nine-month world cruise.”

He said guests were offered the flexibility to book one or more of the four expedition packages.

Mr Humphreys described it as a “ once-in-a-lifetime experience where guests can traverse the globe in one incredible journey”.

“It’s going to be epic.”

What To Expect From Ultimate World Cruise

Get ready to visit all seven continents, 65 countries, over 150 ports of call, and 11 world wonders..

By Robert Schrader | Published on October 18, 2023

1. Are You The Ideal World Cruise Traveler?

Looking at Royal Caribbean's Ultimate World Cruise℠ itinerary, you might be surprised by the sheer volume of bucket-list sites, even if you consider yourself a seasoned traveler. The great explorers of history spent this long — the full cruise lasts 274 days — on a single sailing across the sea, never mind going to all corners of the globe.

Your epic journey around the world, of course, is sure to come with plenty of new-to-you destinations. From world wonders such as the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Wall of China to sun-dappled islands from French Polynesia to Greece, the array and diversity of horizons you sail to is unparalleled. This isn't a cruise — it's the  cruise to top all other cruises.

2. Do You Want To Minimize Flights?

Taj Mahal Entrance, Cochin, India

3. Is This Trip Too Good To Be True?

It might sound unbelievable that you'll be able to spread your arms out under Argentina's Christ the Redeemer statue and sip cocktails beneath the Sydney Opera House on the same sailing, but on this epic journey around the world, you can. The key to making the most of each port is to pace yourself — this is a long trip, in the best way possible.

Some stops along the Ultimate World Cruise℠ will invite more hiking and exploration (Jordan's ruins of Petra, for example), while the colorful waterfronts of European idylls like Bergen, Norway, are better for sitting down for a meal or drink. What makes this vacation unique is the luxury of time and space, which allow you to truly relax and explore many sides of yourself. You might consider yourself a total beach bum as you reach the sandy shores of Oahu but feel like a history buff as you take in the Taj Mahal. You might feel like an explorer as you explore the ruins of Chichén Itzá in Mexico on foot, then opt to take a camel when you reach the Pyramids of Giza.

4. How Much Does It Cost?

As you can imagine, this once-in-a-lifetime epic journey around the world is highly customizable. The ticket price for the 274-night journey ranges from $59,999 per person for an interior stateroom to $117,599 for a junior suite on the 2,476-passenger Serenade of the Seas® .

You might think that if you travel the world for almost a year, you'll need to bring your whole home with you, but this isn't necessarily the case. In fact, you'll want to err on the side of bringing less rather than more. You'll have laundry services (among other complimentary treats)  included in your fare, and can buy almost anything you need at ports. Focus on bringing a basic wardrobe built for laying in different climates, and any special items you know you can't easily buy, as well as medications and other need-to-haves. You won't want forget to pack bathing suits for Mexico, for example, or a coat for colder destinations.

So, is this the best way to travel the world? That's somewhat a matter of personal preference. Sailing the world with many of the same passengers offers an unprecendented bonding experience with like-minded travelers. The guests and crew become very much like a family on a world cruise, which can be a real joy to watch unfold — especially if you follow cruise etiquette and are considerate of others during the voyage. And the itinerary of the Ultimate World Cruise℠ 2023 is so extensive it's almost impossible to imagine. Certainly, if you love cruising and want to see much of the world as possible in one fell swoop, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to check many travel icons off your bucket list.

Go to the Kukulcan Pyramid at the Chichen Itza in Mexico

5. Do You Really Set Sail For ... Everywhere?

It's important to note that you can opt for the whole cruise, or stay onboard for however long you want. Each of four Ultimate World Cruise℠ segments — Americas, Asia Pacific, Middle East & Med and Europe & Beyond — can be booked a la carte, with business class airfare between your home and wherever you start and end included in the price. Or, pick one of the 17 sailings (ranging from nine to 29 nights) that make up the cruise and visit the sites that are most exciting to you.

Then again, if you can find the time, it's tempting to complete most of your bucket list in a single, epic trip when you circumnavigate the globe onboard a cruise ship. The iconic world wonders you'll see are only the beginning on this epic adventure.

Map for the Ultimate Earth tour

Hop on your flight to your first stop: Lima, Peru, once the center of the “New World” and now a bustling metropolis. Say goodbye to your old self, because in less than two months, you’re going to be a new person.

This tour requires a visa for U.S. citizens. Check entry requirements or call us with questions at 800-766-2645.

Up the altitude and dive into jungles, cities and ancient ruins During this eight-day stretch, you’ll live like a local in Lima, journey to vibrant Cuzco, and hike around the always enchanting Machu Picchu, where you can learn about its mysterious past, watch the sunrise, and feast your eyes on a real-life llama.

Highlights:

  • Land in Lima, head to your accommodation, and meet your fellow travelers as they arrive.
  • Walk through Cuzco, a modern city at a staggering elevation of 11,150 feet.
  • Explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas, rich in Peruvian tradition.
  • Visit several Incan archaeological sites, including the fortress at Ollantaytambo.

You’re off to a new continent: Europe! Your first stop is England, home of the Queen, tea, a wonderfully different form of the English language, and the largest city in the European Union: London. It’s here that red busses zip down the left side of the road, Big Ben chimes at tea time and medieval castles accent a futuristic skyline. Brimming with history and unique architecture, you’ll soon understand why it’s one of the most visited cities in the world.

  • Put your walking shoes on for a guided tour that brings you outside Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and St. Paul’s Cathedral.
  • Experience a royal ritual during the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace.
  • Get a proper view of London from above on an optional London Eye & Tea excursion.

Next up: Paris, France, a city known for world-class art and gastronomical perfection. There’s nothing quite like a warm croissant, except for maybe croque monsieur AKA next-level French grilled cheese. From the major landmarks like the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower to the serenity of the River Seine, you’re going to see it all. Study up on high fashion, watch the Hunchback of Notre Dame, and get used to having only one free hand since your other hand will always have a fresh baguette in it. Now you’re ready for France.

  • Arrive to your accommodation and get settled in the city of love and cheese: Paris.
  • Float down the River Seine during a scenic boat ride that makes its way through the true heart of the city.
  • Watch the world-famous lights of the Eiffel Tower sparkle (every hour, on the hour after sunset).
  • Find peace of mind at Luxembourg Gardens, a tasteful collection of tree-lined promenades, flowerbeds, statues, and the Medici Fountain.
  • Opt in for the optional (and oh-so-elegant) tour of the Palace of Versailles.

You’re off to Switzerland, home to postcard-worthy views everywhere you look. Breathe in fresh lake air with hints of fresh chocolate (it might only be your imagination) as you explore a charming city overlooked by the snow-capped peaks of the Alps. It won’t take long to see why so many people flock to Switzerland—and seemingly never want to leave.

  • Get introduced to the city with a guided tour from your Tour Director.
  • Stand in wonder before Löwendenkmal, an impressive sculpture of a wounded lion carved into a sheer rock cliff.
  • Stroll across the Kapellbrücke, a covered wooden footbridge featuring a series of paintings dating back to the 17th century.
  • Shout from the top of a mountain during an optional excursion up the Swiss Alps.

It’s everybody’s favorite boot-shaped country, recognized for Renaissance art, people that use outdoor voices all the time, and infinite carbs: Italy! It’s safe to say, whether you’re consuming art or pizza, Italy is a cultural mecca begging to be explored. And even though Italians don’t actually eat spaghetti and meatballs, it doesn’t mean you can’t finally have your Lady and the Tramp moment. Start in Venice, and make your way down through Florence and then Italy’s capital city of Rome, where hustle and bustle is served with a side of ancient ruins.

Note: There is no included entry to the Duomo during the guided sightseeing in Florence, but you will have free time to return if you so choose.

  • Stand in the footprints of history on the Rialto Bridge, the oldest spanning the Grand Canal.
  • Stroll the Piazza della Signoria, home to Florence’s seat of power, the Palazzo Vecchio, as well as several intricate sculptures.
  • Visit the final resting place of some of the most illustrious Italians such as Michelangelo, Galileo, and Machiavelli at the Basilica di Santa Croce.
  • Stop for a photo outside of Rome’s Colosseum, where gladiators battled to the death in mortal combat, and be glad you live in the 21st century.

Hop over to Athens, Greece, a vibrant metropolis that was once the center of art, politics, and literature. Ancient monuments, feta cheese, and people socializing in the streets make this country stand out from the rest. After experiencing Greece, you’ll know two things for sure: The Mediterranean Sea is bluer than most things (including, but not limited to, Eiffel 65’s hit song from the 90s), and baklava is a dessert sent from the gods. After a few days in Athens, journey out into the Mediterranean to begin your epic Greek island adventure to Santorini. Get ready for beaches by day, and nightlife by—you guessed it—night.

  • Switch from Italian to Greek as you make your way to Athens, the center of Greek mythology and home to The Acropolis, the remains of an ancient citadel built 2,500 years ago.
  • Update your watch to island time on the ferry to Santorini, famous for its white-washed and blue-domed buildings, volcanic landscapes, and picture-perfect sunsets that you can happily post with #nofilter.
  • Sit back and relax at your beachside hotel. (Seriously, this is all you have to do.)
  • Head back to Athens for one more opportunity to see the sites and put tzatziki on everything.

You are now entering the Middle East, a region made up of 15-20 (depending on who you ask) countries in North Africa and Southwest Asia. The first cities were born here, religions arose, and humans figured out how to express ideas through abstract characters on clay tablets (also known as writing). Touch down in Dubai, a futuristic desert city that is hard to put into words. Picture pet cheetahs instead of dogs, indoor ski resorts, and the most expensive hotel in the world. It’s incredibly wealthy, outrageously over the top, and expats make up 80% of its population. Prepare your mind, because it’s about to be blown.

  • Kiss Europe goodbye, and hop on your flight to Dubai, a city plopped in the middle of the desert, that needs to be seen to be appreciated.
  • Help yourself to a geography lesson, brought to you by the World Islands, 300 man-made islands off the coast, placed together to look like a map of the world.
  • Put on your bargaining shoes, and walk through the Dubai souk, a traditional marketplace that sells everything from jewelry to textiles.
  • Look waaaaaay up at Burj Khalifa. It’s the tallest building in the world, and almost twice as tall as the Empire State Building.
  • Count the number of luxury cars you pass, not including the police in Lamborghinis.
  • Hop aboard a Land Rover 4x4 for an adrenaline pumping, desert safari through the sand dunes outside the city, followed by a barbecue dinner and belly dancing performance.
  • Cheers to being half-way through your trip with an included Half-way lunch.

New continent alert: welcome to Africa! When it comes to historical significance, Africa takes the cake; human beings literally came into existence here over 6 million years ago. You’ll spend the next seven days in the East African country of Kenya exploring national parks, coming face-to-face with countless wild animals, and simply enjoying the peaceful serenity of the great outdoors.

  • Arrive in Nairobi, Kenya’s capital and East Africa’s most cosmopolitan city.
  • Hit the open road towards Amboseli National Park, known for three things: elephants, birds, and jaw-dropping views of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
  • Enjoy two days in the Masai Mara, a huge area of savannah grasslands.
  • Keep your eyes peeled during your game drives for The Big Five (lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinoceroses).

Asia, unknown to much of the Western world, is a behemoth of a continent with a couple billion people, beautiful beaches, and thousands of years of rich history—the perfect adventure for the culturally curious. Hopefully you’ve worked up an appetite, because you’re going to the home of delicious spicy noodles: Thailand. But this country is more than thin strips of dough and spices. There are tropical forests, floating markets, and golden Buddhas everywhere. On the way to Bangkok, sit back, relax, and practice some yoga. Try corpse pose, which, is essentially sleeping. Bangkok’s mixture of modern day norms is juxtaposed with traditions of the old world. As night falls, the energy of the busy city streets turns into world-renowned nightlife.

  • Arrive in City of angels, great city of immortals, magnificent city of the nine gems, seat of the king, city of royal palaces, home of gods incarnate, erected by Visvakarman at Indra's behest (a rough translation of the city’s full name).
  • Board a longtail boat and find out why Bangkok is known as the “Venice of the East.” Hint: it’s not because of gelato.
  • Look up at the Emerald Buddha, Thailand’s most important religious icon, which happens to be a two-foot-tall jade statue of Buddha.
  • Gawk at the intricately adorned Grand Palace in the heart of Bangkok, and then travel by speedboat an hour outside of the city to behold the floating markets.
  • Explore the busy streets of Bangkok as you search for the city’s best noodles.

Yes, you’re still in Thailand, but the islands are as special as they come, which is why they get their own section. After you’ve had your fair share of Southeast Asia’s mainland, it’s time for some island fun. Phuket and Phi Phi Islands in Thailand are your places to lounge in the sun on a white sand beach and snorkel in crystal-clear water among tropical fish. These islands are part tropical paradise, part party central. Which style will you pick? Spoiler: there’s no wrong answer.

  • Snorkel, sunbathe, or take a walk along the beach in Phuket before picking from a breadth of dinner options and hitting the town.
  • Zoom over to Ang Thong National Marine Park on a speedboat and get ready to hit the beach, snorkel the colorful reefs with exotic fish, and kayak around the islands.
  • Learn about the essential herbs, vegetables, and sauces in Thai cuisine by creating some of the country’s most famous dishes during a cooking class.
  • Enter a real life Planet of the Apes as you pass by a beach with hundreds of monkeys lining the sand and cliffs, hoping you’ll toss them a banana.
  • Lounge at Maya Bay, where Leonardo DiCaprio filmed The Beach.
  • Find a beach bar and watch Islanders test fate as they juggle flaming batons and you question whether you could do that, too. Spoiler: You can’t.

Spend a day exploring islands known for their tropical waters and limestone cliffs.

Sydney, Australia's oldest and largest city is the last stop on your adventure around the world. It has an energizing combination of beautiful landscapes, vibrant culture, and nightlife. The moment you step foot in Sydney, you’ll feel the buzzing energy all around you. It’s loud, it’s attractive, and it knows it. And there’s no better way to end your trip than with four days of beaches, delicious food, extravagant nightlife, and—wait for it—koalas.

  • Check out all that Sydney has to offer on a guided tour from your Tour Director.
  • Learn about Sydney’s most famous hydrated amorphous form of silica (it’s opal, if you couldn’t guess).
  • Enjoy a scenic boat ride out on the picturesque Sydney Harbor.
  • Hit Manly Beach, catch some rays and watch surfers in their natural habitat (like Planet Earth but instead of birds it’s bros).
  • Get out of town for a day hike in the Blue Mountains, where you can balance out the constant endorphin-high of traveling with the peaks and troughs of the Jamison Valley.
  • Come face-to-face with some of Australia’s best wildlife (lookin’ at you koala bears and kangaroos) at the Sydney zoo.

Farewell Dinner Share some last laughs (and maybe shed a few tears) at an included farewell dinner with the group.

Goodbye, friends family! Let’s face it. After 57 days, you’re practically family. But your next destination awaits—home. Before you head to the airport, enjoy your last few moments together. Take one more group photo. Grab that final drink. (Fine, maybe a couple of drinks.) But this isn’t goodbye. It’s “See you later.” The only question is, where?

Colorado Springs, Colo. (March 19, 2024)— USA Ultimate announced today the 72 athletes that were invited to represent the United States at the 2024 WFDF World Ultimate Championships (WUC) this summer in Gold Coast, Australia.

The competitive process to make the U.S. National Team began last fall when more than 200 players from a pool of 558 applicants were invited to try out for Team USA. Following a pair of tryouts last month, 13 coaches and selection assistants made their final picks.

With eight players spread across the men’s and mixed rosters, New York PoNY is the most represented club team, followed by San Francisco Fury and Washington Truck Stop with seven each. Denver Molly Brown, Raleigh Phoenix and Raleigh Ring of Fire are each represented by five players. Philadelphia AMP is the most represented mixed team with three players.

Occurring every four years, the 2024 edition marks the return of the tournament after the cancellation of the 2020 event. Team USA looks to defend its three gold medals from 2016, where it swept all three divisions with a cumulative 29-0 record.

As one of 21 total countries competing Down Under, the United States is one of 11 nations taking part in each of the tournament’s three competitive divisions – mixed, open and women’s.

The Open division will consist of 14 teams: Australia, Austria, Canada, Chinese Taipei, Colombia, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore and the United States.

The Mixed division is the largest with 20 teams and features Argentina, Australia, Austria, Canada, Chinese Taipei, Colombia, France, Great Britain, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Panama, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, and the United States.

With 11 teams confirmed, the Women’s division includes Australia, Canada, Chinese Taipei, Colombia, France, Germany, Great Britain, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, and the United States.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band in Phoenix: Ultimate guide to Footprint Center

ultimate world tour

Bruce Springsteen hasn’t played a concert in Phoenix since 2016, when the E Street Band hit Talking Stick Resort Arena (now called Footprint Center) on the River Tour, revisiting the 1980 masterstroke that gave the world “Hungry Heart” while topping Billboard’s album chart, a Springsteen first.

His first concert back on Tuesday, March 19 , also finds Springsteen relaunching a tour cut short in 2023 as thousands of fans were left Googling the phrase “peptic ulcer disease.”

Rolling Stone hailed the opening night of the tour he’s about to resume as "ecstatic and emotional." Spin called it a "must-see."

With a guy like Springsteen, though, anything less than a "must-see” would pretty be disappointing, especially with the E Street Band on board.

As for those health concerns, Springsteen announced that he was symptom free on the Nov. 20 episode of his E Street Radio show “From My Home to Yours.”

Here’s everything you need to know about Bruce Springsteen's Phoenix concert, including where to park for Footprint Center, the clear bag policy and who's in the E Street Band.

He 'just kind of shot through the roof': How Phoenix radio made Bruce Springsteen the Boss

Who is in the E Street Band in 2024?

Here's the current lineup of the E Street Band:

Bruce Springsteen tour setlist 2024

Springsteen isn't changing up the setlist as much as he used to, but last year's setlists were different enough that there's no go-to setlist.

These songs also made a lot of setlists:

"Candy's Room," "Mary's Place," "Johnny 99," "Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)," "Bobby Jean," "Born in the U.S.A."

And these songs were played at least four times in 2023:

Royal Caribbean Introduces the Ultimate World Tour to All 7 Continents

Adventurers seeking to travel far and wide can now set off on a world tour of their own. Royal Caribbean International is raising the bar for world cruises with the debut of the inaugural Ultimate World Cruise , an epic 274-night adventure that visits all seven continents , more than 150 destinations in 65 countries and 11 great wonders of the world . This rich, immersive experience on Serenade of the Seas is the longest and most comprehensive world cruise out there, sailing roundtrip from Miami on Dec. 10, 2023 and through Sept. 10, 2024. Bookings for the full Ultimate World Cruise can be made by phone now , with an exclusive one-week window through Oct. 26 for Royal Caribbean’s Crown & Anchor Society Diamond status members and above.

Travelers will sail to 57 destinations new to the cruise line and exclusive to the cruise itself. Highlights include Casablanca, Morocco; Qaqortoq, Greenland; and Shimizu, Japan – the gateway to Mount Fuji. Guests can delve deep into many of the world’s breathtaking wonders, from Peru’s Machu Picchu to the Taj Mahal in India, and experience distinct cultures and picturesque shores at every corner of the world all in one spectacular adventure – only on Royal Caribbean.

Guests ready to traverse the world can book the full Ultimate World Cruise today or choose from any of the four expeditions that will offer a wide range of destinations as soon as December 2021 – the Americas, Asia-Pacific, the Mediterranean and Northern Europe:

  • Round the Horn: Americas and Antarctica Expedition

Dec. 10, 2023 - Feb. 11, 2024 – Three continents, 36 destinations, four wonders

The once-in-a-lifetime journey begins in Miami, the cruise capital of the world, and sets course for postcard-perfect Caribbean destinations – like the ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao) – before heading to glacier-studded Antarctica and around Cape Horn.

  • Wonders of Asia and the Pacific Expedition

Feb. 11 - May 9, 2024 – Three continents, 40 destinations, three wonders

Guests will venture miles from the ordinary in Oceania, Asia and beyond on the cruise’s next showstopping leg.

  • Middle East Treasures and Marvels of the Med Expedition

May 9 - July 10, 2024 – Three continents, 44 destinations, four wonders

This expedition begins in glamorous Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and brings many of history’s greatest mysteries, myths and legends to life.

  • Capitals of Culture

July 10 - Sept. 10, 2024 – Three continents, 40 destinations

The final leg of the Ultimate World Cruise is an immersive, cultural experience that begins in the Mediterranean and heads north.

Bookings for the entire Ultimate World Cruise open today for Diamond and above Crown & Anchor Society members . Guests interested in booking can call Royal Caribbean ’s dedicated line for the Ultimate World Cruise at +65 6675 0418 or their travel advisor.

Bruce Springsteen Promises ‘Wider Song Selection’ on 2024 Tour

Bruce Springsteen is looking to mix things up as he heads back on the road following an unanticipated break.

“I think we’re approaching [the 2024 World Tour] like it’s a new tour,” the rock legend explained during a conversation with SiriusXM’s E Street Radio host Jim Rotolo. “There will be some things from last year’s tour that will hold over; some of my basic themes of mortality and life. Those things I’m gonna keep set, but I think I’m gonna move around the other parts of the set a lot more. So there’ll be a much wider song selection going on.”

Springsteen’s words will undoubtedly be music to the ears of some fans who openly criticized the lack of variety in his 2023 set lists. This was in stark contrast to his long-held reputation for making each concert different than the next.

“We’re looking at it like it’s a little bit of the old tour, but we’re looking at it like a new tour,” the Boss asserted once more. “We’re looking to kill the crowd and send them home just having had the time of their lives and that hasn’t changed and that’s what we plan to be doing for the rest of this tour.”

Why Was Bruce Springsteen’s Tour Postponed?

Many of Springsteen’s 2024 dates consist of shows originally planned for 2023. The Boss was forced to reschedule his tour as he suffered through peptic ulcer disease.

“When I had the stomach problem, one of the big problems was that I couldn’t sing,” Springsteen explained. “You sing with your diaphragm. My diaphragm was hurting so badly that when I went to make the effort to sing, it was killing me. So I literally couldn’t sing at all.”

The health woes plagued Springsteen for several months and had him questioning when he’d be able to return to performing.

“During the course of it – before people told me, ‘Oh no, it’s going to go away and you’re going to be OK’ – you know, you’re thinking, ‘Hey, am gonna sing again?’” the rocker admitted. “This is one of the things I love to do the most. And right now, I can’t do it.”

Now back on the road, Springsteen is scheduled to tour across America through the end of April. At that point he’ll head overseas for a run of European dates, before returning for another leg of US. shows beginning in August.
