Does anyone have a diagram for 08+ mirrors wiring diagram? I’m looking to find out what color wiring for each function ex: running light, turn signal, adjustment, heat, telescope in and out, ground, and fold in and out.

Attached is the Power mirrors section of the 2011-2016 Workshop Manual. I don't know if there is a difference between that and the 2008 that I posted earlier. I am only posting them in case you need them. You might do better here by improving on your description. The statement... ...isn't meaning very much to me. Info like... Did you buy the truck with the mirrors and you are trying to get them to work or did you buy the mirrors special? What do the three wires going into your mirrors do? Have you identified the functions of any wires for either your controls or mirrors? Do you have controls on the door for telescoping and folding? If so, where are the wires from those switches? If not, what is your plan to get those controls [no controls=no wires]? Things like that.

My mirrors are from a 2011 with a 13 pin plug. My plug only has 3 wires going to it. Driver side on my plug is red, green, and, yellow. The passenger side is purple, green, and yellow. Can someone tell me what wires off my pigtail to connect to my OEM wires to so I can adjust my mirrors please? Thank you
Ok the OEM mirrors had a round plug and it only has 3 wires. So the plug that is on the my door harness is round with three wires. The 2011 mirrors have 13 wires in the plug. I also have the plug in that has 13 wires. I’m trying to find out what wires in need to connect/I need to do so my 2011 mirrors will adjust up, down, left, and right. The old mirrors only had adjustment, no lights, or anything else. The 2011 has adjustment, power folding, power telescoping, running lights, heat, and turn signals. Everything is hooked up except the power adjustment.
2015 F250 XLT. I have power mirrors factory and installed power folding and extending mirrors. With that said I changed the wiring harnesses on both doors. Fig 240. is how it is wired and Fig. 246. I had to do some reconfiguration to delete the memory wiring and get the power to adjust the mirrors. I am able to telescope and adjust the mirror now but I am not able to fold them. My guess is I still have some wires to move around but cannot find a wiring diagram for the wiring harness on the door plug. any help is appreciated. Here's the pin numbers for the harness at the door/cab connection and the diagram. Do you have the control module or relay that controls the power folding feature?

'01 Excursion - Power Window Troubleshoot

Hello, we have a 2001 Excursion that is having problems with the right rear passenger window. When we got it, the drivers control switch and the passenger switch would not operate the window. I recently bought a new switch, and discovered that the wire harness was not connected.:shock: After connecting the wires, I discovered that the switch operates the window down, but not up (thus the unplugging of the wire harness). The drivers switch still will not operate the window at all........ Does anyone know what the problem might be, or how I can isolate ? I am at a loss as to why the drivers switch does not work at all, and the passenger switch only one direction. Thanks !! P.S. I tried with the new switch, with the same results.....

I had a similar issue with a 2004 Excursion that we have. If I remember right, our issue was that the switch on the right rear door was not getting power. So, I pulled power from the drivers switch, ran it across the floor and back to and up into the RR door and tapped it back in. Problem solved.

Looking for a wiring diagram for the rearview mirror on a 2011 expedition king ranch. It has a 10 pin connector going to it. I think I've identified the 12v power as the light blue wire at pin #1 and the ground as the black wire at pin #10 but want to make sure before hooking the radar detector into them. If anyone knows where I can find a wiring schematic or has any knowledge of this 10 pin connector / mirror that would be helpful. Thanks.

Usually, alldata has wiring diagrams. Either way, for the 03-06, it seems we only have a 7 pin connector, with only 3 of the pins being used. One (#1, white/light blue) gives power during start and run, one is ground (#2, black or black/light blue), and one gives power when the truck is in reverse (#3, violet/white or black/pink). The reverse one is there since the mirror goes into full reflective mode when in reverse. I guess it's so no one can sue becuase the mirror dimmed up on them.

Usually, a radar detector draws very little power, so it should be fine piggy backing off the power wire you found. Just make sure it's hot only in start/run, so the RD is not on all the time.

Just take a multimeter, and see what wires provide power with the key in ON, and tap off that. Radar detectors don't draw much power.

I tried it out on my 2011 Expedition XLT, and member CTFL is correct. Light blue (#1) is positive, and black at #10 slot is ground. Works perfect! Thanks.

Went a bought a service manual for the schematic. (needed one anyway) 1999 Paddle mirrors to 2006 towing mirrors on 99 Superduty. Step 1) Pop off your door panels. (your looking for two screws. One under the red reflector, one under the switch panel. Both of those items pop right off to gain access to the screws.
