YOU PAY FOR THEIR SITE GLITCHES

Absolutely avoid at all cost, these people have no integrity at best and are blatantly manipulating information on their site for financial gain...there was an error which caused them to charge me for a box one month early...it should have been obvious there were errors as my dog weighs 15lbs yet their site says and the food they expect me to pay for is portioned incorrectly for a FIVE pound dog, one third of the correct amount...for this, 166 calories a day when my dog needs over 400, they bilked me for over $125.00...they stole my money to starve my dog because this "division" of Marleyspoon apparently exists to create site errors then cash in...trust my pet to them?!? HAHAHAHAHA NO...they were informed within 2 hours of charging me that this was a glitch, nothing has shipped, yet they feel they can steal from me for an incorrect order, not today Bezzie & bet not tomorrow either...

Initial Delivery Issue but Food is Great!

Ok so if I read these reviews before I bought the food, I wouldn't have ordered, but I didn't and I have to say I'm glad, as my very fussy girl (German Shorthaired Pointer) loves it! So does my other one that will eat anything. I can say that there have been no issues with their health as a consequence. Obviously I'm aware now of the reviews of ill health and will keep an eye out, but so far so good (three weeks of use so far). The delivery was initially delayed ie said they were an hour off and then cancelled and said they'd deliver it the following day. This caused some issues (hence 4 stars not 5), but I'm going to give it another go. The food was kept cool in freezer bags and raw food is frozen. If you order raw or partially cooked, you will need space in your freezer to store it, so be aware of this.

Trusted food for my bezzie

My picky spoodle Daisy loves it! I have tried everything before I got her into bezzie and this is the only food that I didn’t have trouble feeding her, she will lick her bowl empty every time, sometimes she will leave a little bit of it but then come back to it later. I do top it up with little bits of cooked beef. No more worrying for me. Her poo seems fine, small but firm. I don’t think I will switch to anything else.

I’d leave zero stars if possible but sadly they don’t allow you to do so. I’ll start off with the customer service being absolutely horrible, the website is hard to figure out as well. I changed my subscription date to the latest I possibly could because I couldn’t figure out how to cancel it right away…. A few days later I get a over $100 UNAUTHORIZED charge to my debit card. The company refuses to refund me. Secondly my dog has gotten sick from the food, it’s supposed to be “human grade food”, my dog has been eating other human grade foods and was completely fine. My dog got diarrhea from the food immediately and is now bleeding out of his ass. So if you want your dog to be healthy and safe, and you wanna save yourself some stress and money STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am now sleeping on the floor with my 12 year old pug who is so sick from this trash food.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. Ingredient list sounded good, as did individual size servings, “specially made” for my dog. Only thing is, my dog got diarrhea, even though I gradually introduced the food. Now I get two more boxes delivered even though I canceled. They said I had 3 open accounts and only 1 was canceled! What? How did 3 accounts get opened and they didn’t notify me? I returned the 2 boxes but they refused to refund me. And today my dog is vomiting blood and has to spend the night at the vet. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO BEZZIE!

ok, i see the negative reviews, they seem all about the start-up glitches with the website, delivery etc and not the food. yes i had several issues like this initially, but i gave them time and chances to get it right. they did. now i've got it down as to the website, ordering and delivery. my german shepherd loves the food. glad i gave them the chance to prove its value. have now taken about a dozen deliveries. stocking up now for the collapse of the supply chain.

Wet food as a topper = game changer

I love the bezzie wet food! I use a bit each morning as a topper on my dogs dry food. I love that the packaging boxes (reminds me of some people soups) are shelf stable and so really easy to store if you accidentally order too many. Also, I have a small dog so I like that the package sizes are a manageable size, so I'm not wasting food when I open up a fresh one each week. Its great they have a couple flavors to keep things interesting, my dog feels medium about just her dry food but really goes after it with the bezzie on top :). It certainly has a smell but not foul like some other wet dog foods I've seen. Loving this wet topper!

Products didn’t arrive

Paid money for plan , 1/4 of dry food came and no raw food , slim to no customer service. We waited 2 weeks for the rest of product to arrive but never did, wouldn’t recommend

My dog was violently I’ll after the…

My dog was violently I’ll after the first meal. He wouldn’t touch it again and went off eating food for several weeks. I tried one more meal just to be sure that’s what it was, and he vomited afterwards again. I threw the whole months food out. Would not recommend this at all.

My senior lab loves!

Nosh is my picky senior lab’s favorite! He is getting older and this is the only food he consistently eats, and enjoys! I also put in on a lick mat for extra enrichment. He’s getting more pep in his step. Thanks Bezzie.

Do not buy this food for your dog!!

Do not buy this food for your dog! I tried this company out because I wanted to sample all fresh dog food companies to see which one worked the best for my dog. The fresh food came a day late in a box that did not have any method of keeping the food cool and fresh. I had to throw away the entire 30 lb box because it was warm and spoiled. Then I tried contacting Customer Service. The phone rings and rings but no one ever answers. I tried emailing them to request a refund and their only response thus far is that they’re having issues with their phone. Don’t waste your money on this company.

So far so good

So far so good. I'm doing the 2 week trial. My Shiba Inu is a very picky eater. So I was surprised how much he loved the Nosh. I just topped his regular kibble with it and added in some of the bites. He licks his bowl clean every time. I wish we could individually buy Nosh/bites rather than having a set meal plan. Also I think it's extremely affordable compared to other brands I've used such as Spot &Tango

Ezra loves his Bezzie

Bezzie is great. I needed to adjust the amount of my subscription because Ezra was eating less than I expected. Bezzie customer service was great, very easy. The food is so healthy and nutritious. He loves it. Toppers are so yummy.

We have been feeding our Maltese Shitzu…

We have been feeding our Maltese Shitzu Bezzie raw food for around 6 months now. Maltese are known to be picky eaters but he loves it ! I feel so much better when I see him eating healthier food. We’ve had no problems with ordering and delivery at all. Food comes frozen and is well packed so it stays frozen even if I’m out when the delivery arrives. We needed to pause one of the monthly orders and push it back two weeks and it was really easy to do. The website is easy to navigate and I’ve changed what I order a couple of times with no issues. The only thing I’d change is the feeding guide. It’s not super easy to interpret( although we worked it out!). I just wish it said -half a packet twice a day ( for example). Anyway - just a minor thing and not really a big deal ! Overall my dog and I are super happy with Bezzie.

my frenchie blu had to switch to a vet prescribed diet because of her health history but she loved the nosh so much and i’d give her the bites as toppers and treats and it was great.

I would give a zero review if I could. I ordered a trial food for 2 weeks. Each week my food had missing dry food. My dog didn’t even enjoy the food and I had to throw it everyday. I cancelled my subscription and now they charged me for a month food. Said they order food fresh and hence can not refund me. Now that makes me question that is it as fresh as they promise it is? They could have refunded 3 weeks money and charge 1 that would have been fair. But just saying guys be careful before you get into this. Very bad customer service and also things on website isn’t true. If it says cancel subscription anytime, and it’s weekly food, why charge for a month food?

Is it better to freeze the Nosh

Is it better to freeze the Nosh? Just received my trial order of Bezzie. It didn't come with ice in the box. I read that it is shelf stable but I got to wonder how meat, human grade ingredients, can sit on a shelf and not have to be put in the freezer. I put all of it in the freezer. Is that OK? There is no way to contact them except email and got a response that they'll respond within a day. The food will be totally frozen by then. Customer service needs to be improved and I'm not the only one saying that. Maybe I can get a response here faster - Is it OK or even better to freeze it, I would think so.

Traveling in a Wheelchair Is Hard. But This Wheelchair Let Me Do a Fulbright in the Philippines.

I’m a lifelong power wheelchair user, so international travel has often been difficult for me. Unpaved sidewalks and rampless buildings, cars that won’t fit my 375-pound customized wheelchair, and inaccessible public transportation are just the start of what discourages me from venturing out into the world more.

That’s why I felt a nagging fear as I sat at the San Francisco airport in August 2022, about to embark on a nine-month Fulbright research fellowship to the Philippines—a country without comparable accessibility standards to those in the United States.

I’m an architect, and I’ve devoted much of my career to advocating for accessibility. My Fulbright research was focused on the accessibility of elementary schools. To do this, I needed to be able to travel nimbly—a task I knew would be incredibly challenging.

Yet one item that alleviated my fear sat neatly folded next to my mountain of luggage: my EZ Lite Cruiser , a lightweight travel power wheelchair.

This chair opened up countless opportunities in the following months, including allowing me to ride in nearly any car, get onto a motor boat, and visit small towns to immerse myself in local communities.

EZ Lite Cruiser

A lightweight travel power wheelchair.

This travel wheelchair is light enough to lift up stairs, and it folds compactly to fit in the trunk of most cars. It isn’t the most comfortable, though.

Buying Options

It fits in the trunk of a car.

The trip started with a travel nightmare that was almost impossible to make a contingency plan for.

The only wheelchair-accessible transportation service in Manila, where I flew into, canceled on me mid-flight—leaving me stranded at the airport.

To get to my hotel, I rented a cargo van. As I watched five grown men carry my heavy-duty wheelchair into the back of the van, I noticed a sixth person single-handedly pick up the EZ Lite Cruiser along with my suitcases.

It was then that my anxieties really eased about how I was going to get around. The EZ Lite Cruiser can easily fit in the trunk of most cars, folding up to slightly larger than a medium suitcase (29 by 22.5 by 13 inches).

I didn’t need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle anymore to do my research. I could use any car.

At about 45 pounds, the EZ Lite Cruiser chair allowed me to be a lot more agile during school site visits. Whenever I reached an inaccessible point, like a step or stairs, it was easier for someone to lift me in this chair than in my regular one. And, with the help and commitment of several kind people, the chair even made it possible for me to get into a boat!

It’s simple to maintain and repair

I’ve gone through the long and arduous process of getting my regular wheelchair repaired several times; this involves insurance approval, ordering parts, and a specialized technician to install them.

With the EZ Lite Cruiser, none of that is necessary. I can order replacement parts directly off of the website, which also has instructional videos on removing and installing new parts.

My chair was around four years old by the time I left for my trip, so I ordered new rear tires, motors, a battery, and armrests for the EZ Lite Cruiser, to make sure it was in tiptop shape for my nine-month adventure. I’d previously purchased a separate portable seat cushion from another company, since the cushion that came with the standard model had flattened over the years.

The parts came within a week, and my brother-in-law was easily able to install the parts by following the instructions in the videos. By the end, I felt like I had a brand new chair.

By contrast, I requested repairs for my regular chair four months prior to the trip, but my insurance didn’t approve them until 10 days before my departure date. Predictably, the parts didn’t come in time, leaving me with a worn-out and potentially unsafe wheelchair to use for nine months.

It’s not great for everything

Although the EZ Lite Cruiser does the job of getting me around, technically it’s too big for my body, and therefore I use it only when I really need to.

I’m a 3-foot-6-inch woman with brittle bones and a significantly curved spine, so there are several features unique to my customized chair that make it much more comfortable and safer for me to use—which is why I was adamant about bringing it to the Philippines.

When I was first shopping for a lightweight electric wheelchair, in 2018, the EZ Lite Cruiser was one of very few options available. I chose the standard model because it was the least expensive (and it wouldn’t be covered by insurance). But it also had the fewest bells and whistles.

The fit isn’t perfect. My short legs do not hang comfortably off the front edge of the seat. And the seat is a little too wide, leaving me to jostle around. (For reference, my customized chair’s seat is 12 inches wide, whereas the standard EZ Lite Cruiser’s seat is 15 inches wide.)

The lightweight aluminum alloy frame feels too unstable on any surface that’s not flat and smooth. It also doesn’t have many shock-absorbing properties, so I feel all of the bumps and cracks on the ground—something that my brittle, achy bones didn’t love as I navigated the uneven pavement and steep slopes of the Philippines’ urban and rural terrain.

Wirecutter’s accessibility and aging-in-place editor, Claire Perlman, had a similar experience while traveling through Greece with her deluxe slim EZ Lite Cruiser chair . Because of the seat’s configuration, she couldn’t reach the joystick without a large pillow behind her. And the simple footrest did little to keep her feet in place as she drove over endless cobblestones, leading to at least one near-fall.

That said, this chair allowed her to take the trip. And she even visited the island of Santorini, famous for its picturesque (and inaccessible) stairs.

It’ll be more comfortable customized

If you have the budget, you can customize (to an extent) the EZ Lite Cruiser to your body and needs. The EZ Lite Cruiser comes in four different sizes, and the deluxe options offer better back support, thanks to five different seat-reclining positions and a plusher seat cushion. The deluxe models also offer different lengths of footrests and seat belt types.

There are a few limited customization options available on all of the models. The joystick can be installed on the left- or right-hand side of the chair. You can also choose between a 10 Ah lithium battery (which is airline-approved and has an approximate 10-mile driving distance) and a 15 Ah lithium battery (which is not airline-approved and has an approximate 15-mile driving distance).

But if you’re flying with your chair, you should know that not all airline personnel are properly trained on which lithium batteries are permitted onboard, so you should be prepared to explain it to them if necessary. The company offers documentation that you can request, to show airline agents that the wheelchair is safe for flying. Even with the airline-approved 10 Ah battery, you’ll always have to disconnect it before flying.

Discomfort and inconveniences aside, the EZ Lite Cruiser was a worthwhile investment and one of the best decisions I could make for my independence.

I have traveled with many companies before, but the arrangement and enjoyment I experienced on your tour were unmatched. Speaking of our tour captain, Abdur ji, I would like to tell you that he is a remarkable person who takes care of us at every turn. ‘The Greatest Hits': Music turns on the time travel in charming love story

Story of a woman torn between two lovers — one of them dead — lands in just the right place..

Any time Harriet (Lucy Boynton) hears a song she shared with her late boyfriend, she time-travels back to that moment in “The Greatest Hits.”

The first rule of time-travel movies is there are no plausible rules of time-travel movies. Whether it’s “Slaughterhouse-Five” or “Back to the Future,” “Time After Time” or “Looper,” “Somewhere in Time” or “The Terminator,” it doesn’t matter how much exposition we get, or whether there’s some kind of geeky “flux capacitor” explanation. We just have to go with it and see where the story takes us. If we care enough about the characters and their journey, we buy into it.

So it goes with writer-director Ned Benson’s sun-dappled Los Angeles time-travel romance “The Greatest Hits,” which takes a big pretty swing in the genre with a sentimental premise that might have you rolling your eyes — but only if you’re a COLD-HEARTED CYNIC WHO DOESN’T BELIEVE IN LOVE. (Just kidding. As far as you know.)

When we meet Lucy Boynton’s Harriet in present day, she’s a troubled soul who is still in deep mourning two years after her movie-star handsome boyfriend Max (David Corenswet, star of next year's "Superman") was killed in a car accident. Thing is, Harriet can’t really move on, because every time she hears a song attached to a memory of Max, she’s rocketed back in time to that moment and can stay there only as long as the duration of the tune. (Where’s the uncut version of “Autobahn” by Kraftwerk when you need it!)

Harriet’s apartment is filled with albums marked “Tested” and “Untested.” Sometimes she travels back in time by choice and tries to manipulate events; on other occasions, when she’s out in public and a time-triggering song plays on a car radio or in a coffee shop, well, that’s problematic, as it sends Harriet into spasms and causes her to pass out. Harriet wears noise-canceling headphones, and she works in a library to minimize the risk of an unplanned journey, but you can’t control the music everywhere you go.

With needle drops from an eclectic mix that includes Jamie xx, Roxy Music, Nelly Furtado and Technotronic setting the pace, “The Greatest Hits” introduces a number of familiar character tropes, including Austin Crute’s Morris, who is Harriet’s gay best friend and exists mainly to advise and support her and happens to be a DJ, which feels almost too on point, and Retta as the wise and caring group therapy leader, Dr. Evelyn Bartlett.

The sensitive and cutely awkward David (Justin H. Min), who recently lost both his parents and manages their charmingly dusty antiques store, develops a real crush on Harriet, though when she tells him about the Hunky Dead Boyfriend and the time-travel thing, he has his doubts. (Boynton infuses Harriet with such loveliness and charm that we believe David might stick around despite her crazy story.)

The script from writer-director Benson takes some interesting turns. We want Harriet to be reunited with Max, but dang it, what about David?

Just when you think “The Greatest Hits” has painted itself into a corner, the script finds a way and the story lands in just the right place. I could see myself going back and watching it again, even though I know exactly how it will all play out. Hey! Sort of like in a time travel movie.

Had been to Dubai with Travel Bezzie. It was my first international solo trip and Sonia from travel Bezzie made it life time memorable trip. Everything was well arranged and planned.

Overall trip was wonderfully organised with beautiful cruising and interesting talk on the region and history. The itinerary was very well thought out, combining leisure time with other activities.
