Tour description

The Majestic Tour heads north of Edinburgh's city centre towards the port of Leith with highlights including Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, The Royal Yacht Britannia and the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

You can join this tour at any bus stop, and hop-on hop-off for the duration of your ticket.

The Majestic Tour features a multi-lingual commentary in 10  languages. Headphones are provided on the bus.  

All of our tour buses have ramped access. A Class 2 mobility scooter is welcome on board if a wheelchair accessible space is available. Please note that legally wheelchair users have priority over the use of these spaces. Alternatively, Mobility Scooters can be folded and stored as luggage. Dogs, including assistance dogs, are welcome on all of our tour buses

Pick up point

We have travelled with Majestic over many years and have in the main rated trips very highly. We are booked for Tattoo trip but are not happy with the pick up point. Over the years we have been picked up at our local village. This has now stopped and we have to travel to next nearest point. This is unfair as we are near earliest to be picked up and then we go on a route march coming off main route to pick up people at the pick up points. We feel instead of driving around different pick up points in Taunton and Bristol, and Exeter, surely like us they could travel to the nearest service stations. This would cut out a lot of travelling time. Our location only takes you off the route for about 5 minutes. Come on Majestic please make our holiday more comfortable and bring our once recognised pick up point back into circulation

Don’t give them a penny Horrible service. SUV never turned up, excuses but blamed our hotel on what was obviously their mistake Horrible

Majestic Tours was recommended to me by a friend, we used them for airport travel to and from hotel. No problems at all. They were there waiting when we landed and on time to return.

We used Majestic Tours for transfers from the airport to Atlantis in 2020 and 2022. Both trips have been on time, informative of the local area, friendly staff and clean, well maintained vehicles. They also were the best price.

After reading all the reviews I was nervous, but I’m so glad we chose this company. From the customer service to the tours themselves, everything was excellent. The ladies helping us at the Riu Grand Bahamas on Paradise Island were so helpful, funny and engaging. They helped us set up tours, change plans without issue and never once seemed rude or inconvenienced. We went to Exuma to swim with pigs, feed iguanas and stingrays and watch them feed sharks, and that tour couldn’t have been better. The staff were amazing, friendly, happy, helpful and educational. The food was very good and the island was gorgeous. We also took a champagne dinner sunset cruises but sadly the evening was overcast and rainy. The crew made the trip so much fun, kept us entertained and told us a lot of fun facts about the island. Overall, I would highly recommend these tours and we look very forward to coming back and doing more fun stuff!

Stayed from the 25th October until the 2nd of November 2021. The pick up on the 25th October was very smooth from the airport to the Royal Atlantis Hotel. We had booked a return transfer from the hotel to the airport for the 2nd November and we asked the hotel also confirmed with Magestic Tours the day before so on the 1st November to make sure the times were actually confirmed by them and it was all set. My partner had an earlier flight at 2pm and there was a lot of people that was picked up too so he managed to get on the bus to the airport. However my flight was at 10:30pm and Magestic tours was supposed to pick me up at 7pm as confirmed by them the day before. BUT it was 7:15pm and they were a no show, the Bell guy at the hotel said the hotel was not able to call Magestic tours because the office was already closed so there was nothing that could be done. I had to grab a taxi which costs me $60 to the airport otherwise waiting for them any longer and I would miss my flight back.. We paid and confirmed with them for this shuttle to and from airport and i find it very unprofessional that if they were not going to be able to pick me up to at least let us know. It was very frustrating and I would certainly not recommend anyone to use them for airport transfers. What should have been a smooth airport transfer was actually a pain and spent more money. I would be contacting them for a refund as this is not acceptable or great customer service but from what I see from the comments others have had issues and no refunds, like as if they are trying to scam you.
