Kirk Franklin Tour 2024

Kirk Franklin tour 2024 announced : Kirk Franklin and Maverick City Music will perform on November 15 at the State Farm Arena. This date is part of an extension of the Kingdom Arena tour. The tour announced 14 new dates, including stops in Greenville, Jacksonville and New Orleans.

Franklin has received 15 Grammy Awards and has several Hot 100 hits, including "Lean on Me", "Stomp" and "I Smile". He also sold several platinum discs. Atlanta-based Maverick City Music won a Grammy in 2022 for the best contemporary Christian album with Old Church Basement. 2022 is the year of Maverick City Music. Having recently won a GRAMMY and made a historic appearance on the main stage, this record-breaking collective has experienced an amazing rise. Since then, they have performed on the main stage of the BET Awards alongside Diddy and Faith Evans, on the NPR Tiny Desk and on The View. Last month they appeared on TODAY, where they were interviewed.

Kirk Franklin 2024 tickets will go on sale on September 6 at 10:00 am (Eastern Time) and will be available to the general public from September 9 at 10:00 am (local time).

Funny thing, was not much of a KF Fan until Saturday night's show. I went for Kem... however, I truly enjoyed Kirk beyond what I would have imagined. He was a professional superstar and not to uppity for his fans. I loved the attention he gave all of his fans, the Personal Attention. He reminded them (us), of how important we were to his career and success. I loved the kindness and absolute fun he displayed. I loved it all. Great job Kirk Franklin, I am now your newest fan!!! This show was AMAZING!!! Kirk is a true entertainer! He is so talented! This show made me speechless! This is by far the best concert that I have been too!I love how Kirk was very lively and interactive with his audience. Plus, I appreciated his realness and openness when he gave us words of wisdom throughout his show. Additionally, Koryn Hawthhorne and Travelle Judon was amazing as well.Kirk is anointed and a true blessing! His music makes me feel closer to God and gives me a better outlook on life. I will definitely attend many more Kirk Franklin concerts and will recommend others to attend a Kirk Franklin concert as well!

I have never seen Kirk Franklin in person but would love to just not that Fortune to but I know his music help my soul I listen to him day and night I don’t know what I’ll do with out the sound of his voice and on the other hand I think God for him he just say all the right things to help me along the way Thanks Kirk you keep doing the work of God it’s a job well done in my book love you and can’t wait to see you

Produced by Live Nation and Undivided, the 37-city tour kicks off on June 1st at FTX Arena in Miami, FL making stops across North America in Atlanta, Toronto, Nashville, Los Angeles and more before wrapping up in Denver, CO at Ball Arena on July 31st. At the conclusion of the Kingdom Tour, a collaboration album, Kingdom , will follow featuring Maverick City Music and Kirk Franklin.

Guests wishing to transfer tickets must log into their Ticketmaster account and manage transfers from there.

Guests with general admission tickets may begin lineup at 8:00AM on the show day. The general admission line will being at the Citizens Tower on the corner of Mulberry St. and Edison Place.

Bags up to 12"x14" are permitted inside Prudential Center. Anything larger, including backpacks, are not permitted, with the exception of childcare or medical bags. Permissible larger bags will be X-rayed. All bags are subject to search by Prudential Center security team members at each point of entry. Bags that do not meet these expectations must be returned to the guest’s vehicle or stored in a Prudential Center supplied locker at the guest’s expense. Lockers are located outside the Ford Tower and Lafayette Street entrances.

• THE REUNION TOUR will begin at 7:00PM. Please note that Tye Tribbett will no longer perform as part of The Reunion Tour.
• Enhance your experience in the CityView Lounge, featuring an exclusive lounge, private bar, and more. Visit the Lounge entrance on the 2nd Balcony level to upgrade in person.
• Patrons are allowed 2 unfrozen, factory-sealed bottles of water (up to 33.8 fl oz each). Alternatively, patrons can bring in soft, empty, squeezable plastic water bottles. Bottles can be filled up at water fountains located at the south end of the venue by the bathrooms on the Floor, Balcony 1 and Balcony 2.
• Patrons who purchased tickets in Balcony 1, Balcony 2, Headliner, and Spotlight sections, please use the Race Street Entrance. Patrons who purchased Reserved floor tickets, please use the Mehring Way Entrance. For a venue map, CLICK HERE .
• The Andrew J Brady Music Center is accessible via the Central Riverfront Garage and is within walking distance to several parking lots and the Cincinnati Bell Connector. For Directions and Parking, CLICK HERE .

From Emmy-winning filmmakers — director Tim Van Patten ( Boardwalk Empire, The Pacific ) and writer and EP Kirk Ellis ( John Adams ) — Franklin is based on Stacy Schiff’s book, “ A Great Improvisation: Franklin, France, and the Birth of America .” The miniseries tells the story of Benjamin Franklin (portrayed by Michael Douglas), who travels to France in December 1776 on a secret mission.

“In December 1776, Benjamin Franklin is world-famous for his electrical experiments. But his passion and power are put to the test when he embarks on a secret mission to France—with the fate of American independence hanging in the balance,” the show’s synopsis reads. Van Patten told Variety that the revolutionaries are in “dire straits,” so Franklin was dispatched by Congress to persuade France to send guns and money, and ultimately bring the European country into the war on the side of the Americans.

The director added that Douglas, a two-time Academy Award winner, was a “good fit” to play the founding father. “He embodies a lot of Franklin’s spirit in that he is really smart, and charming, and completely contemporary in that he’s aware of everything that’s going on around him, on a global level and on a personal level. And he’s curious. And he has an absolute lust for life,” he explained.

“For me, personally, of the Founding Fathers, I feel he’s the most relatable, the most human,” Van Patten continued. “He embodies the American spirit. He was flawed, but he was also brilliant, and charming, and, arguably, our first humorist. I just liked him as a person. I’m not sure who said this, but someone said he’s the Founding Father he was going to hang out with. I think people will especially relate to him because he’s a humanist and a libertine and flawed like all of us.”

Touring the Top 10 Moscow Metro Stations

Komsomolskaya metro station looks like a museum. It has vaulted ceilings and baroque decor.

Hidden underground, in the heart of Moscow, are historical and architectural treasures of Russia. These are Soviet-era creations – the metro stations of Moscow.

Our guide Maria introduced these elaborate metro stations as “the palaces for the people.” Built between 1937 and 1955, each station holds its own history and stories. Stalin had the idea of building beautiful underground spaces that the masses could enjoy. They would look like museums, art centers, concert halls, palaces and churches. Each would have a different theme. None would be alike.

The two-hour private tour was with a former Intourist tour guide named Maria. Maria lived in Moscow all her life and through the communist era of 60s to 90s. She has been a tour guide for more than 30 years. Being in her 60s, she moved rather quickly for her age. We traveled and crammed with Maria and other Muscovites on the metro to visit 10 different metro stations.

Moscow subways are very clean

To Maria, every street, metro and building told a story. I couldn’t keep up with her stories. I don’t remember most of what she said because I was just thrilled being in Moscow.   Added to that, she spilled out so many Russian words and names, which to one who can’t read Cyrillic, sounded so foreign and could be easily forgotten.

The metro tour was the first part of our all day tour of Moscow with Maria. Here are the stations we visited:

1. Komsomolskaya Metro Station  is the most beautiful of them all. Painted yellow and decorated with chandeliers, gold leaves and semi precious stones, the station looks like a stately museum. And possibly decorated like a palace. I saw Komsomolskaya first, before the rest of the stations upon arrival in Moscow by train from St. Petersburg.

2. Revolution Square Metro Station (Ploshchad Revolyutsii) has marble arches and 72 bronze sculptures designed by Alexey Dushkin. The marble arches are flanked by the bronze sculptures. If you look closely you will see passersby touching the bronze dog's nose. Legend has it that good luck comes to those who touch the dog's nose.

3. Arbatskaya Metro Station served as a shelter during the Soviet-era. It is one of the largest and the deepest metro stations in Moscow.

4. Biblioteka Imeni Lenina Metro Station was built in 1935 and named after the Russian State Library. It is located near the library and has a big mosaic portrait of Lenin and yellow ceramic tiles on the track walls.

5. Kievskaya Metro Station was one of the first to be completed in Moscow. Named after the capital city of Ukraine by Kiev-born, Nikita Khruschev, Stalin's successor.

6. Novoslobodskaya Metro Station  was built in 1952. It has 32 stained glass murals with brass borders.

7. Kurskaya Metro Station was one of the first few to be built in Moscow in 1938. It has ceiling panels and artwork showing Soviet leadership, Soviet lifestyle and political power. It has a dome with patriotic slogans decorated with red stars representing the Soviet's World War II Hall of Fame. Kurskaya Metro Station is a must-visit station in Moscow.

8. Mayakovskaya Metro Station built in 1938. It was named after Russian poet Vladmir Mayakovsky. This is one of the most beautiful metro stations in the world with 34 mosaics painted by Alexander Deyneka.

9. Belorusskaya Metro Station is named after the people of Belarus. In the picture below, there are statues of 3 members of the Partisan Resistance in Belarus during World War II. The statues were sculpted by Sergei Orlov, S. Rabinovich and I. Slonim.

10. Teatralnaya Metro Station (Theatre Metro Station) is located near the Bolshoi Theatre.
