Before entering any values, choose your preferred units of measurement , where applicable. For instance, you can opt for imperial or metric units when specifying distances. This selection will determine how the calculator interprets your inputs.

Enter the total distance of your trip.

Specify your average driving speed during the trip.

Enter the total duration of breaks you plan to take during the journey.

Specify the departure time , day, month, and year.

Upon entering these details, the tool will calculate the total driving duration and exact arrival time based on your input.

If you're interested in determining the costs associated with your trip , use the second section of the calculator and follow these steps:

Specify your car's fuel consumption rate .

Indicate current fuel price .

Input the number of passengers traveling with you.

The calculator will subsequently determine the total drive cost and the cost per person based on the provided information.

For example , consider a scenario where you must drive 140 km (87 mi) at an average speed of 80 km/h (50 mph). You plan to take a 30-minute break, and your departure time is January 22, 2024, at 7:00 pm. In this case, the calculator would compute a total drive time of 2 hours and 15 minutes, estimating your arrival at the destination on January 22, 2024, at 9:15 pm.

Moreover, if your fuel consumption rate is 8 liters per 100 kilometers (62 miles) and the fuel price is $0.90 per liter, the total cost of your journey would be $10.08. If you're traveling with a companion, you could split the cost, resulting in $5.04 per person.

Estimated time of arrival (ETA) is the time when a vehicle, ship, aircraft, or cargo is expected to arrive at a particular place.

For example, a particular cruise bus may have an ETA calculated based on the expected average speed on a particular road. The travel distance is simply divided by the speed to roughly estimate the arrival time. This method does not consider any unexpected events (such as car accidents on the road or bad weather conditions) that may occur on the way to the driver's destination.

Let's assume we are driving home with friends from a winter vacation in the mountains.

The distance to our home city is 850 km .

We are driving with an average speed of 110 km/h .

We will make three short 15-minute breaks and 1-hour long dinner break, which gives:

Total time of breaks = 3 × 15 min + 1h = 1h 45min

We will start the trip on the 21 February 2018 at 10:00 am.

Now, the most interesting question – when will we be at home? Let's calculate the total drive time:

Total drive time = (distance/average drive speed) + total breaks time = 9h 28min

Arrival time: 21 February 2018 at 07:28 pm

Now, we want to know how much this journey will cost us. With our drive time calculator, the answer to this question is very simple!

  • Let's assume that our SUV car takes 9.5 liters of fuel per 100 km.
  • The gasoline price is €1.22 per liter.
  • We are traveling as a group of 4 friends -> Number of passengers = 4

The answer to the question is below:

Total drive cost = (distance/100) × car fuel consumption × fuel price = €98.52

Drive cost per person = total drive cost/number of passengers = €24.63

How do I calculate the average speed for my trip?

To calculate your average speed for your trip, you must note the trip distance and drive time or travel time and follow these steps:

  • Subtract the total time used for breaks from the drive time.
  • Divide the trip distance by the difference obtained in step 1.
  • The value calculated is the average speed for the trip.
  • Verify your result with our drive time calculator.

How fast can I reach Boston from New York driving at 60 mph?

It'll take 3 hrs 35 mins without any breaks. Allowing for a 15 min break, it'll take you 3 hrs 50 min. Here's how you can calculate this answer:

If you take the I-90 W, Boston is 215 miles from New York.

Divide this distance by the average speed to get drive time without breaks:

215/60 = 3.5833 = 3 hrs 35 min .

Add a 15 min break to drive time for a convenient and safe drive to get a total drive time of 3 hrs 50 mins .

How do I calculate mileage of my vehicle?

To calculate the mileage of your vehicle, follow these steps:

  • When refueling, note the initial odometer reading and the amount of fuel you're filling.
  • When you stop for fuel again, note the final odometer reading .
  • Subtract the initial odometer reading from the final reading and divide the difference by the amount of fuel used.

How far can you drive in one day?

Assuming you drive for 8 hours in a day at 60 mph, with 15 min breaks every 2 hours and an hour-long lunch break in between, you can drive 390 miles . To calculate this answer, follow these steps:

Calculate total break time :

15 min + 60 min + 15 min = 1 hr 30 min .

Subtract this from 8 hours to get 8 - 1:30 = 6 hr 30 min .

Multiply this time with 60 mph average speed to get the distance traveled:

60 × 6.5 = 390 miles .

How to Create a Travel Time Map with Maptive

A local reporter is working on a story about response times to fires in her city. She wants to determine how much of the city is within a four-minute drive time of the city's fire stations in heavy and light traffic. She also wants to determine what the response time would be in the furthest-to-reach parts of the city.

A development company is planning to build a new retirement community and wants to learn more about the demographics in the area surrounding existing communities. The target demographics for the new retirement community will be based on the demographics within a 5-mile driving distance of the best performing community.

  • Usage notes

The input is a single layer of points containing up to 1,000 features.

The drive-time area can be based on several different travel modes using time or distance as the measure. You can create multiple output areas by inputting each time or distance, separated by a space.

Some travel modes have an option for using traffic conditions. When traffic conditions are used, they may be based on live conditions or typical conditions for a specified day of the week and time. Live traffic conditions can be offset up to 4 hours from the current time. Times for typical conditions can be set by 15-minute intervals for the entire day and night.

Travel modes can be configured by the administrator of your organization. The administrator can also add new travel modes or remove travel modes that are not necessary for your organization. The default distance measure will be in Miles or Kilometers , depending on the Units setting in your profile .

The Select barrier layers parameter can be used to specify one or more features that act as temporary restrictions when traveling on the underlying streets.

The Travel direction parameter can be set as either Away from facility or Toward facility . The direction of travel will determine which streets are used in the drive-time areas based on traffic rules, such as one-way streets and illegal turns.

By default, the Create Drive-Time Areas tool will create overlapping areas when the travel areas from different points meet. The other options for overlapping areas are Dissolve or Split .

The Show unreachable areas as holes check box determines whether each output area will be one continuous polygon or include holes on streets that are not reachable through the travel mode or measure.

The Include reachable streets check box creates an output layer of the streets that were used to create the drive-time areas.

If Use current map extent is checked, only the features that are visible within the current map extent will be used to create drive-time- or drive-distance-based areas. If unchecked, all features in the input layer will be used, even if they are outside the current map extent.

Click Show Credits before you run your analysis to check how many credits will be consumed.

  • Limitations
  • The Create Drive-Time Areas tool supports point features only. Multipoint features are not supported.
  • The input layer can have no more than 1,000 points.
  • You must be granted the network analysis privilege to use Create Drive-Time Areas.
  • Travel times cannot exceed 9 hours (540 minutes) when walking or 5 hours (300 minutes) for all other travel times.
  • Travel distances cannot exceed 27 miles (43.45 kilometers) when walking or 300 miles (482.8 kilometers) for all other travel distances.
  • When generating holes or reachable streets, travel times cannot exceed 5 hours (300 minutes) when walking or 15 minutes for all other travel times.
  • When generating holes or reachable streets, travel distances cannot exceed 15 miles (24.14 kilometers).
  • Traffic conditions are not supported in all regions. Check for coverage in your area using the ArcGIS Online Directions and Routing Services Coverage web map.
  • Travel mode availability is determined by your organization's administrator.
  • An error will occur if the tool takes more than 60 minutes to execute. If this error occurs, try rerunning the analysis with fewer input features.
  • You can specify up to 250 features to act as point barriers.
  • If the number of street features intersected by all the line barriers exceeds 500, the tool returns an error.
  • If the number of street features intersected by all the polygon barriers exceeds 2,000, the tool returns an error.
  • The total number of reachable streets in the output cannot exceed 1,000,000. If this error occurs, try rerunning the analysis with fewer input features or deselect Include reachable streets .
  • How Create Drive-Time Areas works

The Create Drive-Time Areas tool uses the ArcGIS Online network analysis service as a street network. To find out more about the latest updates to the street network, see What's new in the network analysis services .

Service Areas use Dijkstra's algorithm to traverse a network. The service returns a subset of connected edge features that are within a specified travel distance or travel time. Travel areas are created by inputting the edges into a triangulated irregular network (TIN) data structure. The network distance along the lines serves as the height of the locations inside the TIN. Locations not traversed by the service area are put in with a much larger height value. An area-generation routine is used with this TIN to carve out regions encompassing areas in between the specified break values (travel time or travel distance).

The Live traffic option uses the current time as the departure. The traffic speed is predicted for the trip using live speeds, historical speeds, and current events, such as weather.

When typical conditions for a day of the week and time are being used, the travel speeds are based on historical speeds averaged across 5-minute intervals for the entire week. The selected time will correspond to local time in the time zone that your data is in. If your data is in more than one time zone, the drive-time area will be generated for both time zones (for example, 8:00 a.m. eastern time and 8:00 a.m. pacific time). The Areas from different points parameter must be set to Overlap if your data is in more than one time zone.

When either traffic condition is used, the Create Drive-Time Areas tool will take into consideration the changing traffic conditions based on elapsed time from departure.

  • Similar tools

Use Create Drive-Time Areas to determine what area you can reach within a specified time or distance. Other tools may be useful in solving similar but slightly different problems.

Map Viewer Classic analysis tools

If you are trying to generate areas around points, lines, or areas with a straight-line distance rather than a street network, use the Create Buffers tool.

If you are trying to summarize features within a specified travel time or distance of your input layer, use the Summarize Nearby tool.

If you are trying to create enriched areas based on travel modes, use the Enrich Layer tool.

Traffic conditions are not available when using travel modes in the Enrich Layer tool.

ArcGIS Pro analysis tools

The Create Drive-Time Areas tool performs a similar function to the Generate Service Areas tool or the Service Area solver in ArcGIS Network Analyst extension .

The Advanced tools provide the most configurable way of accessing TravelTime. Almost all of the parameters that can be configured in the API are available through these tools.

Each of the three tools shares the same fundamental parameter fields as its Simple counterpart, but then has a dropdown list of Advanced parameters, which is common across the Advanced tools.

Advanced Parameters

Search range.

Search Range is by default disabled. If a value is entered, however, Search Range will be enabled and a range of results will be returned (if applicable) based around a range of arrival/departure times.

For example, if an arrival time of 9am is chosen, with a Search Range Width of 60, the tool will return results that have an arrival time between 8am and 9am. The same search with a departure time of 9am, will return results that have a departure time between 9am and 10am.

This aggregation of multiple works slightly differently for each of the tools:

  • Time Map – a combined shape of all possible journeys is returned
  • Time Filter – the lowest travel time of all possible journeys is returned
  • Routes – routes with the lowest travel time are returned

The maximum number of results that can be returned when using Search Range is 5 (per arrival/departure location)

Use this NASA tool to find best times for total solar eclipse in your location

W e’ve now reached the two-week mark in the countdown to the total solar eclipse on April 8 , which will be the last total solar eclipse to be visible from the contiguous U.S. until 2044.

As such, if you plan on watching any part of this historic event, now is the time to finalize any travel plans, have your safe solar viewers at the ready , and make sure you know exactly what time the eclipse will be crossing over your viewing location.

If you’re still not clear about your local times for the eclipse that day, there’s now an online tool to help you.

NASA’s Eclipse Explorer allows users to enter in a zip code or city to see several data points for the day of the eclipse in that location, including pictograms showing the local timing of the eclipse’s progression as well as the exact time of max eclipse coverage that viewers will see from that area.

Only certain places in the U.S. fall within the eclipse’s path of totality — the arc along which observers will briefly see the sun’s disk completely covered by the moon. For all other locations, the Eclipse Explorer can tell you the maximum percent coverage of the sun you’ll experience in your location under clear skies. Nearly all but a smidge of southeastern Michigan will experience 99% or less coverage , with Toledo being the nearest major population center to experience 100% totality.

While the amount of time spent in totality is just a few minutes, the total eclipse event — which includes the partial eclipses occurring on either side of totality — will take place over a couple hours.

For example, according to the Eclipse Explorer:

In Detroit, where at its maximum the eclipse will reach 99% of totality, the event will begin at 1:58 p.m., reach its peak at 3:14 p.m., and end at 4:27 p.m.

Meanwhile, Grand Rapids will experience 93% max coverage at 3:11 p.m., with the event beginning at 1:55 p.m and ending at 4:24 p.m.

And in Traverse City, the eclipse will begin at 1:57 p.m., reach its local peak at 87% max coverage at 3:11 p.m., and end at 4:24 p.m.

Most Americans will be able to see it in some form, but the distance between your location and the path of totality will determine how much of the sun will be covered by the moon. Many places in the U.S. − Rochester, N.Y., Cleveland, and Austin, Texas, to name a few − will see a total eclipse, in which the sun is completely obscured. Other locations will see a partial eclipse. When is the eclipse?

On April 8 the moon will travel along the path of totality in North America starting in northern Mexico. The shadow of the moon will pass into Texas a little before 1:30 p.m. local time. It will then cover portions of the Midwest and East Coast and touch southeast Canada before it moves out to sea, according to NASA .

Are free eclipse glasses safe? How can I view the eclipse safely without glasses?

If you buy or are given eclipse glasses, be sure they are made by companies the  American Astronomical Society  and NASA have certified as safe. Eclipse glasses should all have the "ISO" (International Organization for Standardization) icon. The glasses also must have the  ISO reference number 12312-2 .

If you cannot find certified glasses, there are other ways to view the eclipse, including with a shadow box you can make yourself. Whatever you do, don't look at the sun without proper protection.

A total eclipse occurs when the moon appears the same size as the sun and blocks the entire disk, leading to a period of darkness lasting several minutes. The resulting "totality," when observers can see the outermost layer of the sun's atmosphere, known as the corona, confuses animals – nocturnal creatures stir, and bird and insects fall silent.

This $28 Garden Tool Cut My Weeding Time in Half

I love gardening. I hate weeding. Thankfully, I have a fix for my garden grief: a stirrup hoe.

I started gardening just about four years ago. Before then, I was a garden mooch. I selfishly enjoyed lazy summer evenings on my parents’ back porch, surrounded by stunning native perennial garden beds lovingly established by my mother. The vibrant colors, alluring fragrance, and charming hustle and bustle of wildlife offered a much-needed reprieve from my otherwise technology-fueled existence. But the thought of exerting such effort to plant a garden of my own? Hard pass.

Then the pandemic happened. I was miserable. The world was often miserable. I needed something to pull me out of my funk. I became determined to convert the charred hellscape that was my 0.27-acre turf lot into a biodiverse, pollinator-friendly paradise designed to shelter and feed butterflies, bees, and birds native to my region of the United States. In May 2020, I officially became a gardener.

My mother arrived enthusiastically at my doorstep with transplants from her own garden: a delightful array of North American native plants, including Golden Alexander ( Zizia aurea ), Bee Balm ( Monarda spp.), Anise Hyssop ( Agastache foeniculum ), and Canada Anemone ( Anemone canadensis ).

Soon, my garden was beautiful. And, thanks in no small part to some much-needed antidepressants (really), life started to feel beautiful too. But then came the weeds. I never realized how much work is involved in the ongoing maintenance of a garden. Everywhere I look, a project looms. Chief among them: weeding.

Dealing with weeds is not fun. It’s one of those near-daily gardening tasks that feels endless. Every time I turn around, something is growing where it shouldn’t be. A deceptively beautiful Hedge Bindweed attempts to strangle the life out of my delicate purple Coneflower seedlings. English ivy silently creeps over from neighboring properties. Leggy crabgrass quickly forms aggressive colonies in my annual beds. And even welcome plants in my garden, like Black-Eyed Susan and Blue Wood Aster, self-sow readily each season.

Somehow, some way, I must evict these unwanted invaders.

My go-to for quick and easy weeding: a Craftsman stirrup hoe

In 2021, I sought a tool to make the process of weeding more efficient (an endeavor that in concept would likely make my old-school mother roll her eyes). Although I’ve used hand weeders and cultivators in the past, both of these options still required quite a bit more work than I was looking to put in. They also didn’t allow me to clear large annual garden beds of weeds quickly.

But the stirrup hoe (which is sold under a variety of names, including scuffle hoe, action hoe, loop hoe, and hula hoe) is different. Bearing an uncanny resemblance to, well, a stirrup, its design and functionality are very clever. The Craftsman Action Hoe , which I now use on an almost-daily basis in the garden, has a durable yet lightweight 54-inch hardwood handle attached to a flat, steel blade-head that slightly oscillates back and forth; a simple push and pull action severs weed roots with minimal soil disturbance. Its trapezoidal shape allows for easy maneuvering between plants for highly effective weeding without disrupting or (god forbid) injuring my precious garden.

The stirrup hoe is so much better than the hand weeders and cultivators I’ve used in the past because I can weed from a standing position that reduces the strain on my body. The tool can be leveraged for a variety of soil conditions, from my own dense clay soil to the more lightweight soil in my raised vegetable garden beds. And the ease of use allows me to weed an immense amount of surface area containing small- to medium-size weeds at one time (large weeds require hand weeding or a different tool altogether). After I used the stirrup hoe for a variety of weed-related needs, I realized the once-tedious task could actually be … fun? And, even better, I could weed significantly faster than with previous methods I’ve tried.

Because I work at Wirecutter, I couldn’t just let my own anecdotal evidence speak for itself. I felt compelled to put together my own (vaguely scientific) experiment to prove this new method is far superior to what I’ve tried in the past.

I planted a new Monarch Waystation, a 10-by-20-feet garden consisting of a variety of early-to-late-season blooming flowers meant to support Monarch butterflies through various stages of their life cycle, from birth to their late-summer migration south. After biblical levels of rain this spring, weeds were close to conquering my new garden bed. So I orchestrated a test to compare the speed of weeding with the stirrup hoe against pulling the weeds manually. The garden bed was split in two equal parts: one half to be weeded by the hoe and the other by hand. I set a timer and got to weeding. I aimed for roughly 90% to 95% weed removal from each side.

I was able to weed the garden bed with the stirrup hoe in half the time of pulling weeds by hand.

  • Hand weeding: 15 minutes, 17 seconds
  • Stirrup hoe: 7 minutes, 16 seconds

But the stirrup hoe wasn’t just faster! It also made me less tired and more confident in the destruction of the weeds. My native soil is very compact and tough to dig into by hand, so weeding left my fingers crampy and fatigued as I tried to dig deeply into the soil to extract the roots. This likely could have been solved by using a hand weeder tool, but I don’t believe it would have saved me any time since I would have still needed to manually remove each weed individually.

It's also far more ergonomic; 15 minutes of hand weeding left my knees, hands, and back throbbing (yes, I could be in better shape). But with my beloved stirrup hoe, I was able to weed my garden without crouching down at all—weeding with the stirrup hoe and using a rake to collect the debris. The stirrup hoe would be ideal for gardeners with limited mobility.

The stirrup hoe has made my life substantially better. It makes weeding suck less. And finally, I can enjoy my beautiful garden in peace, free from the weeds that bound me… at least until they come back again.

PBS Kids shows have always leaned into the joy of literacy, whether children experienced it through alphabet lessons on Sesame Street or story time on Reading Rainbow . For the past decade or so, though, programs have also emphasized emotional literacy by teaching kids social skills, communication techniques and how to really connect with those around them. 

It’s an important quest, considering that research suggests that kids who learn to manage emotions become better problem solvers , have higher self-esteem , and can more easily cope with stressful situations . So important, in fact, that the U.S. Department of Education’s Ready To Learn program has leaned into the notion, providing funding for live-action shorts that teach 5- to 8-year-olds how to understand nonverbal communication, consider others’ perspectives and clear up miscommunications.

Dubbed Tiny Time Travel , the 12-part series is the brainchild of Odd Squad co-creator and head writer Tim McKeon. Released March 15 on PBS Kids, the series follows 11-year-old inventor Tyler and his effervescent and endlessly supportive best friend Tony. Together, they use a device that looks like a light-up lunchbox to go back in time to solve problems in their neighborhood. That can involve teaching a friend that “hot” can describe the temperature or spiciness of food, or why you shouldn’t reveal “spoilers” for a movie your friend wants to see. 

McKeon’s idea for the show stemmed from a PBS Kids request for proposals for alternative literacy programming. The April 2022 RFP was PBS Kids’ response to DOE’s World Of Work curriculum , which helps give kids skills they might need to be successful later in life. 

McKeon was quick to respond to the RFP, even though he wasn’t entirely sure what RTL was looking for. Luckily, he says, PBS Kids had provided a very thorough explanation. “I was like, ‘Okay, so it’s a literacy show, but it doesn’t talk about letters and reading and writing,’” he says. “It’s about different ways to communicate, theory of mind and understanding peoples’ points of view. It’s about making mistakes, realizing you have and then correcting them.”

The concept of learning from your mistakes led McKeon to the idea of time travel, though he says the plot device is one of his favorites.  

“I’m a time travel fanatic,” he explains. So much so that the Odd Squad writers room made a rule that he was not allowed to write any more time travel stories because there were already so many of them.” To him, time travel is about second chances, as well as about wish fulfillment. 

Everyone, he says, has an idea about what they’d do if they could time travel. Put kids in charge of the whole thing, a la Odd Squad , and you’d have a little bit of magic. 

Balance of teaching and entertaining 

Every episode of Tiny Time Travel explores a different kind of social communication. McKeon used PBS Kids’ guidelines to craft where he wanted the series to go, but he had creative control over how to get his messages across. Working with curriculum advisors became essential.

“I never want to be in a box where I’m just servicing the curriculum,” McKeon says. “I really want to teach it and … hit the points that PBS wants to hit. They tell me what those things are, and my job is to wrap all that up in an entertaining story with character and comedy, and with stakes that kids will stay involved in despite all the other things that are seeking their attention.” 

Take, for instance, the episode about homophones, or two words that sound the same but have different meanings. In that story, Tony and Tyler see their friend Cammy in the Peruvian restaurant run by Tony’s family. Cammy is sitting alone and looks bummed out. 

In McKeon’s original draft, the boys saw their friend frowning, approached her and said, “We see you’re really sad. What’s going on?” Curriculum experts suggested that Tony and Tyler should instead model how to ask a friend how they’re feeling. 

In the final script and on screen, they notice Cammy is looking down in the dumps — which is highlighted with an illustrated still frame denoting her slumped shoulders and head — and ask her, “Are you sad?”  That question allows Cammy to express her emotions and connect with her friends, who are there with open ears and lots of friendly questions.

Understanding the thought process

Theory of mind , or the idea of thinking about other peoples’ thoughts, feelings and motivations, is part of the show’s curriculum, says Anne Lund, senior director of content and curriculum for PBS Kids. This cognitive process really starts to percolate when kids hit elementary school. “Preschoolers really think that everyone is thinking the way that they’re thinking,” she says. “This series focuses on the end of that space, where kids are really coming into that understanding.”

Having spent formative years of their lives cooped up at home during COVID, today’s elementary school kids might have a need for this kind of lesson in particular, she adds.  “Really, we’re just putting a name on skills that have always been important for this age group. We’ve certainly modeled conversation and language development with kids in the past, but this series really hones in on the thought process to help kids really see and understand the choices they make.”

Tiny Time Travel also leans into PBS Kids’ curriculum by centering itself around two empathetic, open male leads who love to boost each other up. “They’re the biggest fans of each other,” McKeon says. 

In creating Tiny Time Travel , the creative team  relied on the actors’ backgrounds to inform script writing. The actors who play Tony and Tyler were cast after the first four episodes had been written. The writers then reworked the drafts, incorporating personal traits of the actors into their characters, such as how Donovan Monzon-Sanders, who plays Tony, is fluent in Spanish. 

“The whole process was really joyful and collaborative, and I hope it got us to a more authentic place on screen,” McKeon says. Producers also brought in a cultural advisor and cast Hmong actors for an episode about how different cultures communicate. 

In making the series, “we always kept the rules in communication in mind,” Lund says. “We say ‘rules’ because they can be different across cultures, within cultures, with different families and among individuals.” That includes thinking about kids who communicate in more than one language or who might have a social communication disorder. “We tried to really represent a wide range of kids and contexts so that kids at home really could find their person on screen.” 

‘Tools to be better communicators’

CPB and PBS Kids manage the Ready to Learn initiative under a contract with the Department of Education. RTL, a $31 million federal program, combines children’s media that supports early learning with station-based education outreach and training for parents, educators and caregivers. 

While PBS grant managers hold regular check-ins with the Department of Education staff to update them on RTL-funded projects, the creative process is really driven by show producers like McKeon and company. 

Over at PBS Kids, the brand’s engagement teams have been working on what Lund calls “different ways to contextualize this media for different audiences,” such as young learners and their parents or families. For educators, she says, five episodes of Tiny Time Travel and supporting resources are available on PBS LearningMedia.  

Next month, a training for RTL’s Learning Neighborhood stations will provide “resources aligned to the show’s learning goals,” both newly created and pre-existing, Lund says. The Learning Neighborhood comprises 41 stations that work with networks of local partners to address the educational needs of low-income children. PBS Kids also is promoting the shorts with articles and activities in its email newsletter, on the PBS Kids For Parents website and on social media. 

“We really have a nice suite of resources to reach the ecosystem that we know surrounds the kids that are watching,” Lund says. “A big piece of all our Ready To Learn work in particular is to do that wrapping around to really support all our content across the different platforms and the audiences that we know are involved. We know that when the grown ups in kids’ lives can be engaged around the content and have those conversations that kids will learn more.”

“Our job is different from teachers in a classroom or any educator,” McKeon adds. “It’s to entertain and educate, but I hope that our show makes connections and gives kids tools to be better communicators and better humans. It’s not going to do the whole job, but I hope that it is a piece of the puzzle.”
