What to Wear to Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, Broken Down by Era

Whether you duked it out with Ticketmaster for tickets or are just going as a very lucky plus-one, you need an outfit that matches the vibe.

If you’re anything like team Marie Claire, you’ve been waiting for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour from the minute that it was announced. And whether you duked it out with Ticketmaster for tickets or are just going as a very lucky plus-one, you need an outfit that matches the vibe. Or, should I say, matches the eras of Swift’s music.

As a fan who got to attend the show in Boston recently, I was amazed at the wide array of looks at my show. Fans were decked out in Reputation -era snake print, glitter-encrusted face paint inspired by Swift's Lovers album cover, and plenty of DIY’d T-shirts from her Speak Now days. The bottom line? The looks varied widely, proving that you can truly go in any direction when picking your outfit for the Eras tour.

I love getting dressed up for concerts, but I also want to make sure that I can wear my new pieces again and again. It was a question I asked myself over and over while shopping for my own Eras Tour ensemble: Is the look good for me for right now, or good for me forever? In the end, I opted for a bedazzled mesh dress that I could also wear again on a night out over jeans or a slip dress . For the show, I opted to style it over a bodysuit for added coverage.

If you’re heading to the show this summer, there are a few key things to keep in mind, no matter what you wear. The show is long—five hours from the beginning of the opening act to the end of Swift’s set!—so you’ll want to wear comfortable clothing. Plus, if you’re the kind of fan who spends the majority of the concert jumping and dancing like you’re alone in your bedroom, you’ll want to wear something that you don’t have to worry about adjusting. Comfortable footwear is a must, so make sure that your new shoes don’t require breaking in before you go. Finally, the temperature tends to drop at night—especially if you’re at one of Swift’s rainier shows—so packing waterproof layers in your stadium-approved clear bag is key. (I wish I had packed a sweater.)

Ahead, I rounded up a selection of pieces for you to wear to the Eras Tour, broken down by Era. I’ve tried to think of everything: the shoes I’ve selected are known for being comfortable from the first wear. The dresses are comfortable to both sit and move around in. The jackets add warmth when you need them. Plus, many of the pieces below fall in line with some of summer 2023's biggest fashion trends .

Taylor Swift's Debut Album Era

If you’re dying for a debut self-titled album Secret Song at your show, wear something that harkens back to Swift’s first-ever era. This time in her career was defined by pastel blue and green shades, her iconic curling-iron curls, and her country twang. Consider cowboy boots and sweet tulle skirts.

Taylor Swift's 'Fearless' Era

Prefer gold to silver? The Fearless era is for you. This album had it all: Fireworks! A sparkly gold guitar! A gold fringed dress! More was more. To make it work, incorporate gold into your look via a pair of trendy sneakers , a going-out top in the hue, or by wearing a pair of viral gold jeans.

Taylor Swift's 'Speak Now' Era

Speak Now was defined by one color and one color only: A rich purple. It's the color Swift is wearing on the cover of the album, and it's the shade that has stayed attached to the record ever since. Sweet midi dresses and shoes that come in the same shade are go-tos for this era.

Taylor Swift's 'Red' Era

Red makes for an easy outfit because it only requires that you wear one color—red. Swift also went slightly preppy while on tour for the album, opting for a classic Breton striped shirt and red high-waisted denim . No matter which outfit vibe you choose, don’t forget your heart-shaped sunglasses.

Taylor Swift's '1989' Era

1989 is one of the more unique albums in Swift’s discography regarding her looks. While she repped matching sets on tour for the album, she's opted for orange ensembles while on the current Eras Tour.

Taylor Swift's 'Reputation' Era

My personal favorite era as someone who loves to wear all-black, Reputation- inspired outfits are perfect for those who prefer a little drama. From the actual sheer mesh dress I wore to my own concert to a statement-making choker necklace priced at under $50, this era is all about going all-out.

Taylor Swift's 'Lover' Era

If you love playing with color, consider a Lover- era ensemble for your concert. The key colors for this era were bright Barbiecore pink and rich blue, but pastel shades like baby pink and lavender —a trending color for 2023—were also popular. Go all-out with a heart-shaped stencil around your eye, or heart-shaped earrings.

Taylor Swift's 'Folklore' Era

Folklore was a departure from the previous maximalist Lover era. The aesthetic for the album was a combination of woodland fairy and cottagecore. On-stage, this translates to flowing summer dresses in muted shades like olive green. IRL, pair lacy layers with chunky cardigans and sweet Mary Jane shoes.

Taylor Swift's 'Evermore' Era

Cozy-core fans, the Evermore era is for you. Taylor’s second pandemic album was full of woodland references but, unlike its predecessor, the vibe this time around was very much fall-inspired. Flannel dresses, comfy Birkenstock sandals, and other comfy pieces reign supreme. Shades to highlight include marigold yellow and burnt red.

Taylor Swift's 'Midnights' Era

Good thing silver everything is one of 2023’s biggest trends—Taylor is obsessed with the shade for her Midnights era. Her looks from this time in her career are about metallics , drama, and deep shades like navy blue and fushia. If you can’t stop listening to “Karma” or You’re On Your Own Kid,” This one is for you.

Taylor Swift's long-awaited Eras Tour has finally started and the singer is delivering on all fronts — from performance to vocals and, of course, fashion.

On opening weekend, Taylor Swift gave us plenty of whimsical, elegant, and nostalgic looks as we traveled with her through the eras of her career. She wore a handful of familiar styles, with slight tweaks to fit her current style, and gave us plenty of sparkle and shine. Throughout 15+ more stop stops (and counting), Taylor has given us even more memorable fashion moments.

If you are scouring the internet to find out where each look is from, fret not. Here's a look at all the looks Taylor Swift has from during her Eras Tour — from opening night in Glendale, Arizona, to some of her most recent shows in New Jersey and Chicago — and what you can expect to see her wear if you plan on attending one of the upcoming shows.

1. Lover era

Taylor Swift performs onstage for the opening night of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium on March 17...

The first era is  Lover , a time that signified growth, comfort, and basking in the glow of the daylight. Taylor starts the night off in a  custom Versace bodysuit , bright and bold. She pairs it with an equally shiny pair of  custom, studded Louboutin boots . Night one's bodysuit was a playful, iridescent purple color, and she opted for a slightly more elegant, gold-colored one for the second night of the Eras tour kickoff weekend.

The shoes are sparkly, but they aren't really the star of the show until she puts on a blazer, also studded, and also Versace, and performs "The Man." The shoes instantly grabbed the spotlight as she kicked her heels up and flashed the red bottoms. This is the first of several pairs of custom Louboutins that Taylor wears throughout the night – they're the  sole footwear provider for the tour , just like during the  Reputation  tour.

At her show at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, the star debuted a new Versace bodysuit that sparkled even brighter than the original one she wore. There are brighter crystals, shining in purple, and extra details, like tassels down her thigh. She paired the new bodysuit with a pair of ombré bedazzled Versace heels, also in purple. Adorning her neck was the Versace Crystal Butterflies Chain Necklace to complete the look.

In a seamless transition to the era that sealed the deal for her as a stage performer and style icon, the  Fearless  era portion of the night brought back shimmery dresses made to move around. The boots stay on, but she trades out the sparkly bodysuit to dance in a storm in her best dress.

One of the big themes in her clothes throughout the night is fringe, which becomes an accessory to the singer as she moves around the stage and dances around singing her best hits. This  custom Roberto Cavalli dress  allows her to do just that, move around freely and shine bright.

On the second night of the tour, Taylor opted for fringe down the legs in  another Roberto Cavalli custom dress  embellished with Swarovski crystals. Again, the movements looked just as mesmerizing in this dress as the first night.

As the tour has continued, Taylor has debuted another equally stunning dress to embody the  Fearless era. The dress is similar to her custom Roberto Cavalli dress with fringe down her leg, but in silver.

3. Acoustic interlude

Taylor Swift performs onstage for the opening night of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium on March 17...

During the opening night, Taylor referenced her debut era playing her first-ever hit song, "Tim McGraw." This era falls into an acoustic set, where Taylor does one of her favorite things: She plays two surprise songs each night to give every fan a unique experience during the show they choose to attend.  The acoustic, slowed-down portion of the show gives the fans a breather, a time to connect with their favorite singer as she’s able to take a seat at the piano and chat with the crowd before she gives a surprise performance.

During this segment, she has so far worn a  Jessica Jones  dress with ruffles that hug her frame as she sits by the piano. The first night she wore a magenta-colored version of the dress. On night two, it was green. We first wondered if we'd see more colors as the tour continued and TSwift delivered. She’s also worn the stunning dress in a yellow shade as well.

4. evermore era

Taylor Swift performs onstage for the opening night of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium on March 17...

Next up is  evermore  era, for which Taylor wears a simple but bright mustard dress from  Etro , also custom. To perform the songs from this quaint but grand era, the stage is set with trees along a foggy backdrop. The tone of the show shifts here. This is where Taylor gets to sit at the piano and commandeer the crowd with her lyrics. There is no need for fringe and sparkles as the crowd sings along at the top of their lungs to "champagne problems" to accompany her.

5. Reputation era

Taylor Swift performs onstage for the opening night of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium on March 17...

During the  Reputation  tour, Taylor made a bold choice to abandon the pants and embrace the bodysuit. She brings that energy back to represent this era with one of the fiercest ones we've ever seen her in; an asymmetrical, show-stopping  black and red colored custom Roberto Cavalli one . As we've realized by now, nothing on this tour will be dull on the sparkle, and this number features sequins studded along the leg in that infamous snake pattern familiar to this era.

6. Speak Now era

Taylor Swift performs onstage for the opening night of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium on March 17...

To sing one singular song from the  Speak Now  era, the fan-favorite "Enchanted," Taylor emerges ready to impress. You can't help but be enchanted by the soft glow reflecting off the sparkles of the  Nicole + Felicia Couture bespoke gown  she's wearing. This is reminiscent of the Valentino gown she wore when she sang this song on the  Speak Now  tour but grander, and of course, with more bling.

On night two of the tour in Glendale, Arizona, Taylor switched up this look and gave the audience an equally shiny but slightly different look, opting for a  Zuhair Murad Couture custom gown  with a starburst design embellishment.

This portion of the show is where she’s been able to switch it up the most. As the tour progressed, the star has given us plenty of glorious gowns to “ooh” and “aah” at. Another Zuhair Murad Couture custom gown was added to the  Speak Now era collection, with thousands of sequins sewn on in a starburst design.

Some nights, she graces the stage in an Elie Saab Fall 2020 Couture gown that is full of tulle and drama. Other nights, she opts for something a bit more simple, but elegant: an Ellie Saab Couture gown from Fall/Winter 2022, straight from the runway that has fabric flowers sewn down the bottom half of the dress. This dress’s train drags behind her as she walks down the catwalk of the massive stage softly and slowly, matching the tone of the song.

The next era is introduced in a spirited manner as Taylor revisits a popularly recreated look: the "Not A Lot Going On At The Moment" T-Shirt from the "22" music video. This look is paired with a Gladys Tamez hat that she gives to a lucky audience member during the performance.

On the second night of the tour, she opted to poke a bit of fun at herself with a T-shirt that read "Who's Taylor Swift Anyway? Ew" after lyrics from the song "22" instead.

As the North American tour reached its halfway point, she introduced another shirt that says, “We Are Never Getting Back Together, Like Ever.” The sequined shirts are all  custom by Ashish , who also made the original shirt in the “22” music video. Once the t-shirt is removed, a beautiful red-to-black ombré bodysuit is revealed, fittingly so for the  Red  era.

When it's time to sing her magnum opus, "All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor's Version)," a sparkly red overcoat is added atop the already striking bodysuit. She puts her best foot forward for a song that has a story as remarkable as her career, with a red guitar to match.

She also used this time, for the first half of the tour, to bring out her collaborator and tour opener  Phoebe Bridgers to sing their acoustic and emotional song “Nothing New.” On Bridgers’s last night on the Eras tour, Swift showed off a chain around her neck that held a small pendant. It was later revealed that the pendant was the  Give You The Moon Charm from Phoebe Bridgers’ Catbird collection. Her footwear for this portion of the show is a seemingly comfortable pair of  loafers from Louboutin .

8. folklore era

Taylor Swift performs onstage for the opening night of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium on March 17...

For the  folklore  portion, we see the singer in a beautiful, muted  purple Alberta Ferretti dress  full of ruffles and flares. It's "fairy in the woods meets cozy baking in a cottage," which are exactly the right vibes of this imaginative and rustic era.

During her performance of "august," Taylor uses body movements across the stage to express her frustration, and the lavender-toned dress added the perfect amount of drama and flair to the performance. As she moved, the  chiffon fabric  moved along with her seamlessly. On night two, she wore a similarly graceful  Alberta Ferretti dress , but in white. It had curtain drapes with delicate hanging threads, adding a  beautiful texture  to its movement.

Taylor loves to swiftly move around the stage in various Alberta Ferretti dresses during the most emotional portions of the  folklore  era. She’s shown us two more versions of custom dresses that were created for this portion of the show.

9. 1989 era

Taylor Swift performs onstage for the opening night of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium on March 17...

As the night progresses, we see more and more fringe. How else would we see the iconic "Shake It Off" movements except in another  Roberto Cavalli custom two-piece set  covered in chunky fringe with sequins in various shapes and sizes? This look is similar to what the singer wore on her  1989  tour.

On the first night of the tour, the co-ord set was  magenta . On the second night of the tour, she swapped it for the same set, except in bright green.

As the tour has continued, the pop queen has added an additional color to the 1989 co-ord repertoire. We’ve now seen the same Roberto Cavalli set in orange as well. How many colors will we see in total throughout the tour?

10. Midnights era

Taylor Swift performs onstage for the opening night of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium on March 17...

As we reach the present-day era,  Midnights , we get to the peak of extravagance and pomp. It's time to celebrate the eras past that have allowed Taylor to become the artist and performer she is today. The dress she chose to perform the culmination of her career is a custom  Oscar De La Renta  that's looser fitting but still heavy and studded in iridescent crystals. It's paired with a new set of custom Louboutins studded in black crystals. To add more drama, she has a fur coat on, also a custom piece from Oscar De La Renta. Everything about this look screams "Bejeweled," a song placed near the end of the setlist but a vibe that's exuded for the entirety of the night.

As this era progresses, she sheds layers. The dress is shed to reveal an  Oscar De La Renta custom bodysuit , an article of clothing she seems to be very comfortable performing in. This time, there's black detailing. It's soft but striking and just sexy enough to perform the Cell Block Tango-esque choreography to "Vigilante Sh*t" with chairs and all. She even added a garter to her thigh to give a bit of a sexy edge to complete the look.

Taylor Swift performs onstage for the opening night of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium on March 17...

To finish off the show, another layer is added with even more fringe and even more sparkle, if that's even possible. This multi-colored statement piece is fabulous, and it's a perfect way to physically represent just what the last three hours and 15 minutes were all about: Taylor celebrating and shining with the 70,000 other people in the room with her.

Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour: A dedicated guide on what to wear

As the superstar reaches the tail end of her North American stadium tour, the results are well and truly in. Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour is a transcendental traversal of a 10-album strong discography spanning over 17 years of the icon’s life.

Not only has the show been dubbed a mind-blowing experience, but the community of fans have assembled in troves, dressed to the nines in different aesthetics representing their favourite albums and eras.

Swifties have also taken the artist’s lyric to ‘make the friendship bracelets / take the moment and taste it’ as gospel, trading handmade beaded creations adorned with their favourite lyrics and album colourways. Even stars like Paul Rudd, Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, and Emma Stone have been spotted leaving their respective shows with bracelets stacked up to their elbows.

The entire tour thus far feels like a true love letter to the fans who have not only supported Swift throughout her career but – perhaps most importantly – in her bold decision to re-record her albums and take back ownership of her entire back catalogue.

The dedicated Midnights album presale left superfans across the UK deeply satisfied, Ticketmaster finally determining a means – however convoluted – to remove bots and scalpers from the system for good. You’ll be hard pressed to find a Midnights presale code holder who didn’t manage to get their hands on some incredible tickets. Other less fortunate fans were left with tears in their eyes, mouthing the words to This is Me Trying under piles of blankets and a glass of red wine perched on the bedside. We know this Innocent picture All Too Well.

Though not all general sale tickets are going to be sold today (July 18), and the option to buy resale tickets for face value at a later date still stands, if you’ve managed to not only survive The Great War of Ticketmaster and AXS allocations but triumphed, we salute you. Likewise, if you’re reading this article amid ritualistic manifestations over candlelight in order to will tickets into being at a later date, join the club. Let’s plan our outfits together, Dear Reader, ticketholder or not.

Speak Now fan who is a hopeless romantic at heart, or a diehard 1989 stan still low-key hoping Harry Styles has been secretly in love with Taylor this entire time? Maybe you’re thinking more along the lines of an all-black Reputation- style slay with snake accessories, or you could even pull out the purple New York University regalia and dress up as Graduation Taylor for the memes. It’s hard to choose just one era, and based on her numerous mid-concert outfit changes, Taylor thinks so, too.

It comes down to how you want to feel for the night — Speak Now royal, sparkly and totally Fearless, or whimsically Evermore . We’ve put together a complete guide of Taylor Swift concert outfit inspo based on her album aesthetics to help you nail down your ultimate Eras tour outfit.

Every Single Outfit Taylor Swift Wore to Kick Off Her Eras Tour

22 eras tour shoes

John Shearer / Getty Images for TAS Rights Management

When Taylor Swift's highly anticipated Eras Tour kicked off in Glendale, Arizona (aptly changed to "Swift City" for the concert weekend), fans were treated to a journey through the singer-songwriter's extensive music history. In true Taylor fashion, though, this doesn't just mean a performance of her top hits. Taylor transported concert-goers back to her many “eras” through larger-than-life visuals, but more importantly, through every memorable fashion moment. During the first two nights of her 44-song concert, Taylor wears over 20 different looks, from custom Versace to Roberto Cavalli.

We're breaking down every outfit the singer has worn on her Eras tour thus far. Scroll on to see all of our favorite "Bejeweled" looks.

Kevin Mazur / Getty Images for TAS Rights Management

Night one of the tour began in Taylor’s Lover era, which can best be described through rainbows, pastels, and lots of glitter. Ms. Swift took the stage in a custom bejeweled bodysuit by Versace. The outfit nodded back to her Reputation tour days when Taylor would perform in embellished bodysuits and shiny pantyhose, but the pastel jeweling on this leotard gave it the ultimate Lover treatment.

Still in her Lover era, Taylor slipped into a bedazzled suit jacket from Versace to perform her hit song “The Man.” The coat matched perfectly with her Christian Louboutin silver knee-high heeled boots, which she donned during the performance.

For night two in ERAzona, Taylor started the night in a similar bodysuit, but this time with blue and gold jewel detailing, as opposed to the pink and blue colors she wore the first night. She also switched up her blazer for “The Man” and wore black pinstripes with hints of sparkle.

Following Lover , Taylor dove right into her Fearless era while wearing her “best dress,” a gold fringe Roberto Cavalli mini dress. Fans will remember seeing a similar version of this dress during the 2011 Fearless tour. Of course, this early-era look wouldn’t be complete without pairing it with her iconic crystal-encrusted acoustic guitar.

During Fearless night two, Taylor took a less literal approach to her 2011 look and instead opted for an ombre gold and silver midi dress, also by Roberto Cavalli.

Fans often joke that Taylor doesn’t share the same love for Evermore as she does for its sister, Folklore , but she set the record straight while performing five songs from the album while wearing this ethereal yellow number by Etro.

Taylor took a surprising jump into her Reputation era following a few tears shed during Evermore , but Swifties know to expect the unexpected. To perform “Ready For It?” she embodied her edgier side in a snake-embellished one-legged bodysuit.

Speak Now Swifties only got to hear one song from the singer’s third album, but the jaw-dropping ball gown that Taylor emerged in eased the pain. For her “Enchanted” performance, she chose a Nicole + Felicia gold ball gown that felt like the older sister to the gold Valentino gown she wore during the 2011 Speak Now Tour.

The next night, Taylor wore an equally as show-stopping pink ball gown from Zuhair Murad to perform during her Speak Now era.

Taylor might be 33 years old now, but she took us back to her Red era with a performance of “22,” which, by the way, is 10 years old. It’s fine, we’re fine. She embraced the iconic outfit from the “22” music video and performed in a shirt that read “A lot going on at the moment,” a subtle change from the “Not a lot going on at the moment” she wore in the original video.

For night two, she wore the same look, including Christian Louboutin loafers and a Gladys Tamez hat, but wore a tee that read, “Who’s Taylor Swift Anyway? Ew.”

Taylor continued the Red era by changing into a black and red sequin Ashish romper. She also added a sequin Ashish coat to the look while singing her ten-minute version of “All Too Well.”

Taylor entered her cottagecore era with Folklore , wearing a flowy purple Alberta Ferretti gown. Excuse us while we find an equally as elegant dupe from Free People to wear to our concert.

The next night, Taylor wore a similar airy gown from Alberta Ferretti during Folklore , but this time in an off white shade.

Kevin Winter / Getty Images for TAS Rights Management

Taylor entered her 1989 era in style—sorry, we had to—wearing a matching Roberto Cavalli set. She matched the maroon two-piece with a pair of Christian Louboutin boots in the same shade.

On night two, Taylor kept the same style Roberto Cavalli set, but this time she wore it in a bright green shade, again with matching Christian Louboutin boots.

It’s not over yet. During her debut era, Taylor wore a Jessica Jones dress while singing an acoustic version of her first breakout song, "Tim McGraw."

To begin her Midnights set, Taylor wore a glittering Oscar de la Renta dress with an Oscar de la Renta faux fur coat, similar to the one she wore in her music video for “Lavender Haze.”

Taylor closed the three-hour show wearing a midnight blue Oscar de la Renta beaded bodysuit with matching Christian Louboutin heeled boots. The best part, though? She finished the look with a rainbow fringe coat. It’s not a want—it’s a need.

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour Outfits, from Her Versace Bodysuit to Her Roberto Cavalli Dress

Taylor Swift is channeling looks from her past 10 albums on her Eras Tour. Take a look at her best outfits, including custom pieces from Versace, Roberto Cavalli and more

22 eras tour shoes

Taylor Swift is proving she never goes out of "style" with her recent tour.

On March 17, the singer returned to the stage as she kicked off her highly anticipated Eras Tour . From show-stopping performances to creative transitions , the 3-hour and 13-minute set is a true spectacle but one of the best parts is Swift's stunning costumes.

As Swift takes fans through her extensive music catalog with her 44-song setlist , she perfectly pays tribute to her past 10 albums with custom outfits.

While some pieces are inspired by her different eras (the dazzling Versace bodysuit during the opener encapsulates her Lover aesthetic), other looks are direct references to past tours, including her Roberto Cavalli two-piece for her 1989 set and Nicole + Felicia gown for Speak Now .

Take a look at Swift's Eras Tour outfits ahead.

Taylor Swift's Atelier Versace bodysuit for her Lover set

As Swift opened the show with "Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince" from Lover , she wore a custom Atelier Versace bodysuit adorned in pink and blue jewels, reflecting the dreamy pink and blue skies featured on the album's artwork. She paired the look with silver Christian Louboutin knee-high boots and a bedazzled microphone. During her Las Vegas show on March 24, Swift added a flower necklace by Versace to the ensemble.

During her second night of the tour, Swift surprised fans by wearing a completely different sparkling bodysuit. This look, also by Atelier Versace, was covered in blue and gold jewels, with a matching chain necklace and Christian Louboutin knee-high boots.

During her New Jersey show, Swift wore a new bodysuit by Versace, which included fringe tassels and beading. She paired the look with ombré boots and a Versace butterfly necklace, which was a co-design collaboration with Versace ambassador Dua Lipa.

Taylor Swift's Versace blazer for her Lover set

Before singing her hit song " The Man ," Swift completely transformed her look by adding a Versace blazer that complemented her Christian Louboutin knee-high boots.

Taylor Swift's black blazer for her Lover set

In addition to wearing a different Atelier Versace bodysuit during the second night of her tour, Swift also switched up during her performance of "The Man" by wearing a black pinstripe blazer with sequins.

Taylor Swift's Roberto Cavalli dress for her Fearless set

Swift donned her best dress by Roberto Cavalli as she performed a few songs from her album Fearless . The gold fringe dress was reminiscent of a similar look the designer created for her Speak Now Tour in 2011. She paired the look with Christian Louboutin boots and a bedazzled guitar .

For the second night of the tour, Swift donned a different Roberto Cavalli dress, which was slightly longer and featured gold and silver sequins in an ombré pattern.

Taylor Swift's Etro dress for her Evermore set

Swift went for a whimsical look as she performed various songs from her album Evermore in a yellow Etro dress that featured a corset top and beading detail down the front. For her bewitching performance of "Willow" she added a matching Etro cape.

During her New Jersey concert, Swift wore a new dress for her Evermore set, which was created by Marco de Vincenzo for Etro. This dress played into the woodsy nature of the Evermore album with a darker burgundy color and ruffles throughout.

Taylor Swift's Roberto Cavalli catsuit for her Reputation set

Swift slithered into a Roberto Cavalli catsuit as she performed her Reputation set on stage. The outfit, which featured an intricate pattern resembling snakes intertwined down the one long leg of the ensemble, was reminiscent of the many bodysuits Swift wore during her Reputation Stadium Tour as it was covered in black sequins resembling scales.

Taylor Swift's Nicole + Felicia gown for her Speak Now set

Despite only performing one song during her Speak Now set, Swift nonetheless left fans wonderstruck as she donned a Nicole + Felicia gown for her performance of "Enchanted." The gold gown certainly felt like a homage to Swift's Valentino ballgown from her Speak Now Tour.

Taylor Swift's Zuhair Murad gown for her Speak Now set

During night two, Swift looked like a real-life princess as she wore a Zuhair Murad ballgown , this time in a pink hue that popped against the stage's violet lighting.

Taylor Swift's Elie Saab ballgown for her Speak Now set

During the first night of her Tampa concert, Swift wore a new dress for her Speak Now set, dressing up in an Elie Saab Haute Couture silk tulle ballgown embroidered with gardenia-colored organza petals.

In New Jersey, wore another Elie Saab ballgown in a pale pink. The dress also featured lots of tulle and detailing on the front.

John Shearer/TAS23/Getty for TAS Rights Management

During her Speak Now release weekend, Swift debuted another dress for her Speak Now set, wearing a custom Nicole + Felicia gown. The dress featured multiple layers, with varying colors of purple as a tribute to her third album.

Taylor Swift's Nicole + Felicia gown during her Speak Now set

Kevin Winter/TAS23/Getty

Just before announcing 1989 (Taylor's Version) on Aug. 9, Swift donned a blue dress by Nicole + Felicia during her Speak Now set. She continued to wear different blue outfits throughout the concert.

Taylor Swift's Ashish shirt for her Red set

At the beginning of her Red set, Swift recreated her iconic look from her "22" music video, in which she wears a shirt that reads "Not a lot going on at the moment" with a fedora and shorts. For the concert, she made one critical change, dropping the "not" from the T-shirt slogan. The shirt was custom by Ashish paired with Christian Louboutin loafers and a Gladys Tamez hat.

Swift recreated her "22" music video outfit again for night two, thought this time the shirt featured a lyric from the song: "Who's Taylor Swift anyway? Ew."

While performing in Arlington, Texas, Swift wore another version of her "22" shirt, this time with the text "We are never getting back together. Like ever."

Taylor Swift's Ashish romper for her Red set

As Swift moved on to other songs on her Red album, including "I Knew You Were Trouble," she took off her "22" inspired shirt and hat to reveal a sequin Ashish romper in red and black.

Taylor Swift's Ashish coat for her Red set

Swift threw on an Ashish coat over her romper as she performed her 10-minute version of "All Too Well" on stage with a coordinating red guitar.

Taylor Swift's Alberta Ferretti dress for her Folklore set

Swift was back in boho for songs from Folklore , in a flowing lilac Alberta Ferretti gown similar to the dress she wore during her 2021 Grammys performance . She even brought back the Folklore house for the performance.

During night two, Swift wore another Alberta Ferretti dress, this time in an off-white hue covered in crystal embroidery. The gown's flowing, cape-like sleeves were made for twirling.

For her March 24 show in Las Vegas, Swift debuted a third Alberta Ferretti dress as she performed her Folklore set. This dress combined various features from her previous two dresses, with a soft pink hue, cape-like sleeves and sequin details throughout.

During night one in Tampa, Swift wore yet another Alberta Ferretti dress for her Folklore set. This look was in bright green featuring a plunging neckline, mesh detailing and leaves embroideries.

Taylor Swift's Alberta Ferretti dress during her Folklore set

Swift wore a new Alberta Ferretti gown for her Folklore set on Aug. 9, just before announcing 1989 (Taylor's Version) .

Taylor Swift's Roberto Cavalli top and skirt for her 1989 set

Swift recreated one of her memorable 1989 World Tour outfits as she wore a matching Roberto Cavalli top and skirt. The pink set was perfectly paired with dazzling Christian Louboutin boots.

On night two, the star stepped out in a similar beaded matching set by the brand, but this time in a vivid green shade that continued onto her Christian Louboutin boots.

As she performed her 1989 songs, Swift opted for an orange Roberto Cavalli two-piece set with matching Christian Louboutin boots.

Taylor Swift's blue top and skirt for her 1989 set

As she performed her 1989 songs, Swift wore a new variation of her top and skirt set, this time in a striking blue color.

Taylor Swift's Jessica Jones dress for her acoustic set

As Swift performed a few acoustic songs during night one, including "Tim McGraw" from her debut album, she donned a Jessica Jones dress that featured cap sleeves and pleats. The designer has created many of Swift's most iconic looks, including numerous outfits from her Reputation stadium tour and her gold bodysuit at the 2019 American Music Awards when she accepted artist of the decade .

Taylor Swift's green dress for her acoustic set

Swift opted for a similar dress, this time in green, as she performed alongside Marcus Mumford for her acoustic set in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 25.

Taylor Swift's yellow dress for her acoustic set

Scott Eisen/TAS23/Getty

As Swift started wearing her orange Roberto Cavalli two-piece set with matching Christian Louboutin boots for her 1989 set, she began wearing a yellow dress on top of her outfit as she performed her acoustic set.

Taylor Swift's blue dress for her acoustic set

During the last leg of her U.S. tour, Swift donned a blue dress for the special announcement of 1989 (Taylor's Version) , which she debuted the album cover art for on stage. She followed up by playing the hit "New Romantics" from the album.

Taylor Swift's Oscar de la Renta t-shirt and jacket for her Midnights set

For the beginning of her Midnights set, Swift wore a similar look to the one seen in her "Lavender Haze" music video as she paired an Oscar de la Renta crystal t-shirt with an Oscar de la Renta faux fur coat.

Taylor Swift's Oscar de la Renta bodysuit for her Midnights set

As she performed "Midnight Rain," Swift did a quick costume change on stage as she took off her Oscar de la Renta t-shirt to reveal an Oscar de la Renta bodysuit. The outfit, which was in the perfect shade of (what else?) midnight blue, was bejeweled with various beading throughout giving it the appearance of a midnight sky. She paired the look with matching Christian Louboutin boots.

Taylor Swift's Zuhair Murad bodysuit for her Midnights set

For her March 24 show in Las Vegas, Swift switched up her Midnights outfit with a custom look by Zuhair Murad. The midnight blue bodysuit was covered in blue crystals and beaded fringes and even had a matching garter.

During her Los Angeles shows, Swift debuted a new bodysuit by Zuhair Murad for her Midnights set, which was fittingly in midnight blue bodysuit and "adorned with shimmering crystal embellishments, cascading intricate beaded fringes, and accompanied by a coordinating garter," per Zuhair Murad's Instagram .

Taylor Swift has some incredible Eras Tour outfits

Who designs Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour outfits?

Taylor has been bringing out the big guns for her global tour. Notable designers include Fausto Puglisi who heads up Italian fashion house Roberto Cavalli. Fausto describes himself  as a Sicilian maverick. He designed 12 of the looks from Taylor’s Eras shows, including the skintight snake catsuit from the Reputation era, and the gold-fringed minidress from her Fearless era.

And Taylor isn’t the only superstar he has dressed – J-Lo and Zendaya have also had the honour. He also designed the cape that Madonna wore on her Madame X album.

Another designer that has been tapped by Taylor for her stage costumes is Donatella Versace. The legendary designer was the mastermind behind Taylor’s bejewelled bodysuits that feature in the Lover section of her shows.

And rounding off the Lover looks are a pair of custom-made, jewel-encrusted, knee-high boots from none other than Christian Louboutin. With their signature red soles, Louboutins are the footwear of choice for the rich, famous and impeccably dressed.

Italian dressmaker Alberta Ferretti also has a starring role on the Eras Tour. Her ethereal and dreamy gowns complements the Folklore section of Taylor’s shows completely.

Taylor has also selected a number of lesser-known names to wear alongside fashion powerhouses like Oscar de la Renta and Ellie Saab. Indie designer Anish Gupta created the sequin slogan T-shirts emblazoned with her iconic lyrics “WE ARE NEVER EVER GETTING BACK TOGETHER, LIKE EVER”

And with that impressive list of designers, we couldn't resist the urge to round up all the Eras Tour stage ensembles she's worn so far, check out all the Taylor tour looks (as well as her newest additions)...

22 eras tour shoes

Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour has been out for a week on Disney+ , and there's no doubt some dedicated fans have watched it 13+ times. The three-and-a-half-hour phenomenon is a bedazzled force that moves through 49 songs from Swift's 10 eras. The movie was shot over three nights in Los Angeles and included helicopter, drone and onstage camera angles. By now everyone knows the ringleader of The Eras Tour, but what about the cast and crew who shine alongside her?

Here's a look at Swift's six bandmates, four backup vocalists and 15 dancers featured in the film with the time stamps for when they appear on screen.

'Strike the band up, 1... 2... 3...'

The Eras Tour band is led by Mike Meadows and Max Bernstein. Meadows has been with Swift for more than 15 years, starting on her "Fearless" tour. The guitarist also sings and plays keyboards, cello, harmonica and mandolin. In a cute TikTok, his wife shared a compilation video from Nissan Stadium about how proud she is . Swift places her arm on Meadows during "Love Story" at 33:12.

Max Bernstein rocks out on the guitar, keyboards and pedal steel, which is a steel guitar with pedals and knee levers. He shared a post on Instagram with the caption , "So incredibly grateful to be a little part of the biggest and best show." He joined Swift for the "Reputation Stadium Tour" in 2018. His parents are journalists Nora Ephron and Carl Bernstein, and his brother Jacob is a reporter for The New York Times. Bernstein is to the right of Swift and her "Fearless" heart hands at 26:12.

Paul Sidoti may be the most well known band member. His distinct rocker hair is almost as big as his stage presence. Sidoti has been a vocalist and guitarist with the singer since 2007. He is approachable on the tour and has taken photos with fans in the audience. Sidoti's website also says he's available for "online guitar, bass, and piano lessons via Zoom." Swift touches Sidoti's face during "You Belong With Me" while singing "you've got a smile that can light up this whole town" at 28:15.

Amos Heller is the bassist. Like many of Swift's bandmates, the husband and father of three has been with her since 2007. Heller picked up his first electric bass at 13. His cover of Metallica's "Blackened" shows he's a master thrasher. Swift struts with Heller during "You Belong With Me" at 27:58.

Ooomph! Matthew Billingslea is the drummer crashing the cymbals, beating the toms and pedaling the bass. In 2023, he was nominated for pop drummer of the year at the Drumeo Awards. Billingslea joined Swift's band in 2013 for the Red Tour. Billingslea pops up during "Fearless" at 25:38.

Rounding out the bandmates is Karina DePiano . The classically trained pianist gets a shoutout from the singer following Swift's performance of "Champagne Problems." DePiano performs an interlude at 50:35 while Swift sets a table before singing "Tolerate It." DePiano started 2024 with a Pianote nomination for pop pianist of the year .

'We sing it proudly'

The fearless ladies who make up Swift's choir are "The Starlights."

Up first is Melanie Nyema , the section leader. The vocal virtuoso has backed many artists including Gladys Knight, Sara Bareilles, Solange Knowles, Florence + The Machine and Imagine Dragons. She's been with Swift since 2012 when she performed "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" at the VMAs. Check out her spiritual version of "Gotta Have You." Nyema is left of Swift at 30:33 when she hugs "The Starlights."

Kamilah Marshall is the vocalist dance captain. Marshall came into the fold during the Red Tour. Her song "Canyon" showcases her writing and singing in an outpouring of gratitude. The Broadway actress has credits including "Hairspray" and "Lion King." In 2021, she told the Academic Magnet High School newspaper in South Carolina, "I know I’m supposed to be doing what I do.” You can also see her in the dinner scene of " All Too Well: The Short Film ." Marshall is the "cheer captain" on the left at 28:52 during the "Fearless" era.

Jeslyn Gorman joined Swift during her Red Tour. The vocal riffer has a song, "Falling Like Snow," and has toured with stars Meghan Trainor, Jason Derulo, Rita Ora and Nick Jonas. The Florida native and latte enthusiast moved to Los Angeles. Gorman, like the other "Starlights," thanked Swift on her birthday, "Your heart and generosity is beyond BEYOND. And just when I think you’ve DONE IT, you TOP THAT!" Gorman shimmies at 32:40.

Eliotte Woodford wears the purple "Speak Now" dress and bangs the side of her vitrine during the "Look What You Made Me Do" portion of the Eras Tour at 1:07:38. Woodford has been with Swift since 2013. The wife and mother graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, where she was a part of the a cappella group the "Mosaic Whispers." Her singing and dancing reel shows her early work with Swift .

'I don't wanna dance if I'm not dancing with you'

Fifteen dancers led by choreographer Mandy Moore and associate choreographers Amanda Balen and Jeremy Hudson create some of the most iconic moments during the 10 eras. Moore met Swift through mutual friend Emma Stone who worked with Moore on "La La Land." Her credits are extensive. Most recently, she put together the exemplary Ryan Gosling performance of "I'm Just Ken" at the Oscars.

Amanda Balen is the dance captain. The blond beauty hails from Ontario, Canada. She is famous among the Lady Gaga fandom for dancing in several of the star's music videos and being a part of the Roseland Ballroom residency in New York City in 2014. Balen has worked with Katy Perry and Pink. You can find her at 14:18 during "The Man" to the left of Swift.

Tori Evans lights up the stage. In her decade-plus career, the University of Arizona alumnus has been featured in Ricky Martin music video "Qué Rico Fuera" , swam in synchro-formation next to Beyoncé and strutted on "The Masked Singer ." Evans' resume also includes dancing for Cardi B, Mary J Blige, Jason Derulo and Maroon 5. Her dance teacher of 15 years, Lana Wright, told Morgan Hill Life , "Tori was always that ray of sunshine... I always knew Tori could accomplish her goals, if she really wanted it." You can catch Evans during "Blank Space." She hands Swift a glow-up club at 2:13:45.

Audrey Douglass has danced with the devil, in addition to many other television credits. The performer has boogied and waltzed on Netflix's "Lucifer," Apple TV+'s "The Morning Show," FX's "American Horror Story: 1984," Paramount+'s "1923" and "Dancing with the Stars." Douglass serves up sass as "Shay" in Dua Lipa's "Physical" work out video . Dancing runs in the family, because Douglass' older sister, Hannah, was one of the co-captain dancers on Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour . As the "Lover" house burns down, you can see Douglass to the left of Swift at 2:22:52.

Jan Ravnik (pronounced "yawn") is the smooth dancer who caught the eye of social media with his abs-olutely distracting "Lavender Haze" ladder dance . The Slovenian dancer has worked with Paula Abdul, Mariah Carey, Bruno Mars, Khalid and Luis Fonsi. Ravnik was awarded the "Best Dancer in Slovenia" and credited as the "Best Trainer/Choreographer" by the Slovenian Olympic committee. When he's not grooving on the international stage, he goes for long distance bike rides and takes artsy photos. You can see what's got the internet's attention at 2:36:46.

Taylor Banks strikes like a viper at 55:48, during "...Ready For It?" Banks was born in New Orleans, grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to Los Angeles to shine. The dancer has been moving to the beat since she was 3 and been featured with artists including Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Cher, Ciara, Chris Brown, Jessie J, The Jacksons, Jason Derulo, Dua Lipa, Billie Eillish and Beyoncé. The fitness model has repped brands like Nike, Reebok, Skechers and Under Armour.

Sydney Moss was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. The spunky and fun dancer moved to Los Angeles after high school and has worked with Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Doja Cat, Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez. Moss has a beautiful rendition of "You're Losing Me" with fellow dancer Jan Ravnik. She dresses Swift in her bejeweled blazer during "The Man" at 9:03.

Natalie Lecznar is a former Radio City Rockette. The Chapman University graduate married her college sweetheart. She was on Season 5 of "So You Think You Can Dance." The vibrant dancer is easy to spot with her fire-red locks. She is known for her performance in the "Folklore" era when she becomes Rebekah Harkness during the "Last Great American Dynasty" at 1:51:41.

Whyley Yoshimura , why don't you come on over and shake, shake, shake? The dancer notably flips his long hair, still smooth despite the humidity, during "Shake It Off" at 2:17:40. Yoshimura is a native Hawaiian who went to the Kamehameha Schools on Oahu. He started dancing for Janet Jackson at 18 and went on to be her assistant choreographer for the "Unbreakable Tour." He is an LGBTQI+ advocate for the Rainbow Railroad .

Raphael Thomas is the "Tolerate It" star at 54:02. The Jamaican's nickname is "The Sandman." He toured with Mary J. Blige on the "Good Morning Gorgeous" tour , was featured in Rihanna's "Savage X Fenty Show" on Amazon Prime, danced for Janet Jackson in the 85 West Music Festival and lit up the stage with Beyonce during her "Homecoming" performance at Coachella.

Kevin Scheitzbach polishes up real nice! The "Bejeweled" dancer gets a breakout moment at 2:47:13 strutting some of his best moves. Scheitzbach specializes in jazz funk and street styles of dance. He runs FlowXS , a choreography company, with his equally charismatic and talented brother Michael. The two grew up in Toronto, Canada.

Kameron Saunders is the only dancer with a speaking line that he switches up nightly at the Eras Tour during "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" at 1:26:33. The ebullient dancer also shines during a "Bejeweled" dance solo at 2:48:10. The Missourian was honored in Kansas City when the council dubbed Jan. 25 Kameron Saunders Day of Dance. You can catch him and his fast-footed moves in the ensemble of "The Color Purple" and "Spirited." Saunders' brother Khalen is a defensive tackle for the New Orleans Saints.

Natalie Peterson is a professional dancer, fitness instructor, dance educator and Amazon influencer . The Chapman University graduate specialized in Latin dance. Before the Eras Tour, she served as the assistant choreographer for Karol G’s "Bichota Tour" and got her Lagree Fitness certification. You can spot her twirling in "Style" on the right of Swift at 2:10:39.

Tamiya Lewis is the crowd pleaser who wheels the "Red" road case onto the stage. During the tour, she opens it to reveal song snippets from "State of Grace," "Holy Ground," "Red" and "Everything Has Changed" (depending on the show). That part was cut from the movie, but you still see her bringing the case onstage to unleash hundreds of red balloons at 1:20:12. The 21-year-old is an alumnus of the Velocity Dance Convention , a dance convention and competition that provides classes to dancers across the U.S.

Sam Mcwilliams is the lovable dancer who appears to the right of Swift at 2:09:56. If you don't blink, you can also catch his famous "Style" flip at 2:10:41. The Oregon native has been dancing for most of his life. Check out a video of him in 2017 dancing to Meghan Trainor's "Me Too." In 2021, he was named the Radix senior male core performer , and he almost made the top 12 on Season 17 of "So You Think You Can Dance." Recently, Mcwilliams showed off his lyrical, limber and tumble talents in a duet dance with fellow dancer Jan Ravnik .

Karen Chuang hands Swift her microphone during "The Man" at 9:26. A few seconds later as she's poring over a typewriter, Swift takes her paper and chucks it. Chuang is officially a Gleek as one of her first television appearances was as a Vocal Adrenaline dancer in "Another One Bites The Dust." She also performed in the 2016 "Grease Live!" and Lady Gaga's Super Bowl halftime show. Chuang graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCLA.

Screen Rant

Who taylor swift gives the "22" hat to in the eras tour movie (tragic backstory explained).

There's an emotional backstory behind the recipient of Taylor Swift's hat during her performance of the song "22" in The Eras Tour concert movie.

  • In The Eras Tour movie, Taylor Swift gave the "22" hat to the late Kobe Bryant's 6-year-old daughter, Bianka Bryant.
  • Swift's personal connection to Kobe before his and Gianna's tragic passing adds a deeper meaning to Bianka's special moment, reflecting the pop star's close relationship with the Bryant family over the years.
  • The recipient of the "22" hat at Swift's concerts does not usually have a personal connection to her, but the gesture is always heartfelt.

The tragic backstory behind the recipient of the "22" hat in the Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert movie makes the moment even more special. Filmed over the course of the first three shows at Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium on the Eras Tour in August 2023, The Eras Tour movie brought Swift's showstopping concert experience to the big screen. Divided into ten separate sections, The Eras Tour concert features almost every Taylor Swift era of her lengthy music career, including the Red era.

At every show on The Eras Tour, one lucky fan is selected to receive the hat that Swift wears while performing "22" from her fourth studio album, Red . The fan is brought to the edge of the stage, where Swift kneels down and places the black fedora on their head before giving the Swiftie a big hug. It's always a touching moment at every show, but the one "22" hat recipient from Swift’s taped L.A. shows who was included in The Eras Tour movie is extra special because of her family's personal history and relationship with the pop star.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version) releases on Disney+ on March 14, 2024, at 6pm PST/9pm EST.

9 Ways Watching Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour On Disney+ Will Be Different From Theaters

Taylor swift gives the 22 hat to bianka bryant, the 6-year-old daughter of kobe bryant, taylor swift has maintained a close relationship with the late kobe bryant's family.

In The Eras Tour movie, Swift gives the "22" hat to the late Kobe Bryant's then 6-year-old daughter, Bianka Bryant. Bianka, who is now 7, attended The Eras Tour with her mother, Vanessa Bryant, and her sisters, Natalia and Capri, at SoFi Stadium on August 3, 2023. It was an especially sweet gesture on Swift's part to give Bianka the "22" hat since the popstar had a close relationship with the little one's father before his tragic death. On January 26, 2020, Kobe, 41, and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna tragically passed away in a helicopter crash.

Prior to the NBA legend's untimely death, Swift and Kobe were well-acquainted. Their friendship dates back to 2015 when Kobe joined Swift onstage for the first of her five stops at the Staples Center (now the Crypto.com Arena) on her 1989 Tour to present her with a "championship" banner commemorating her record-breaking 16 sold-out shows at the arena over the course of her career. Kobe also spoke highly of Swift in a 2019 interview on The Jordan Harbinger Show , and they've both shown mutual love and respect for one another's drive and success over the years.

At the Eras Tour, Vanessa donned a jacket with an image of Kobe and Swift onstage that night at the Staples Center.

Knowing Swift's history with the Bryants before and after the family's heartbreaking tragedy, Bianka's "22" hat moment takes on a much deeper and even more special meaning.

Since Kobe and Gigi's passing, Swift has remained close with the Bryant family. Vanessa posted a photo on Instagram of her and her daughters posing backstage with Swift (in which Bianka is wearing the "22" hat) with the caption, "Always love." Natalia also posted a picture of her and Swift at the Eras Tour along with a throwback photo of them from the 1989 era with the caption, "Now & Then with @taylorswift." Knowing Swift's history with the Bryants before and after the family's heartbreaking tragedy, Bianka's "22" hat moment takes on a much deeper and even more special meaning.

When Taylor Swift Goes Back On The Eras Tour & How Many Dates Are Left

How taylor swift typically chooses who gets the 22 hat in her eras tour concerts, the "22" hat recipient doesn't always have a personal connection to swift.

Of course, Bianka was specifically selected as the "22" hat recipient at the Eras Tour show she attended (and was likely planned to be included in Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour ahead of time) because of Swift's connection to the Bryants. Swift has also given the "22" hat to other young attendees she knows personally, such as her best friend Selena Gomez's 10-year-old sister, Gracie, who attended the final show of the first leg on August 8, 2023, at SoFi Stadium. Though it's not always a little girl like Bianka and Gracie, the recipient is usually on the younger side.

Most of the time, Swift's team seems to simply pluck one lucky fan out of the crowd to come up to the stage and participate in the special "22" moment.

However, Swift doesn't always give the "22" hat to someone she knows. Most of the time, Swift's team seems to simply pluck one lucky fan out of the crowd to come up to the stage and participate in the special "22" moment. That said, some selections don't appear to be completely random, such as Mikael Arellano, the TikTok creator behind the viral dance to Swift's song "Bejeweled." Swift actually incorporated the creator's moves into the official choreography of her "Bejeweled" performance during the Midnights era on the Eras Tour , so choosing to give Arellano the hat was no doubt intentional.

Disney+ starts at $7.99/month for ad-supported streaming, but there are a variety of bundles available to add more services at a discount. These bundles start at $9.99/month for Disney+ and Hulu, both with ads, and run up to $24.99/month for ad-free Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+.

If you want just Disney+ ad-free, it’ll cost $13.99/month.

Can I watch ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ for free?

Taylor Swift performing on stage with a group of women.

Unfortunately, Disney+ does not offer a free trial, so you won’t be able to stream ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ for free.

What makes this version of ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ “Taylor’s Version?”

Put simply? It’s just more songs.

When “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” was initially released in theaters, the film omitted four songs from the core setlist, and another four “surprise songs” filmed over the course of three nights (only two surprise songs made the theatrical cut).

For Swift’s birthday in December 2023, an updated cut of the film that included “Wildest Dreams,” “Long Live,” and “The Archer” was released in theaters.

Now, “Taylor’s Version” hits Disney+ with the three new songs from the birthday cut, plus the final original cut song, “Cardigan,” and the four omitted surprise songs from the acoustic sets: “Maroon,” “I Can See You,” “You Are in Love,” and “Death By A Thousand Cuts.”

How long is ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ movie?

Per Disney+ , “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version)” has a run time of 3 hours and 31 minutes. That’s about 40 minutes longer than the theatrical cut that ran 2 hours and 49 minutes.

Will ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ be on Netflix?

No, it will not be, but we understand why you might think it will be — “Reputation Stadium Tour” and “Miss Americana” were both released on Netflix, after all.

When Disney+ won the bidding war to stream “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” they did so by scoring exclusive rights to the concert film, meaning Disney+ is the only streamer that’ll carry it (and when you’re done, you can check out “Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions,” also streaming exclusively at the House of Mouse).

Can I still catch Taylor Swift live on the Eras Tour?

You sure can ! Tickets are available on Vivid Seats for every remaining show of the tour, from the next leg, which picks up in Paris on May 9, to American gigs in Miami, New Orleans, and Indianapolis later this year.

The biggest issue with Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour

A fter missing it in theaters and refusing to pay $19.89 for it, I began watching Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) on Disney+ . Almost immediately, I realized a big issue.

Sure, the film is shot extraordinarily well. It captures the epic score that Swift’s “Eras” tour has.

However, this concert film fails in a key area. The flaw was big enough that I questioned, Why am I watching this?

Someday, I will find the time to finish the three-and-a-half-hour-long extravaganza. I just needed some space from the concert film after being let down by the opening numbers.

Taylor Swift: The E ras Tour’s biggest flaw

As her “Eras” tour concerts begin, Taylor Swift: The Era Tour begins with a medley of “Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince” and “Cruel Summer,” the song radio stations play through the winter and stop in the spring.

Nonetheless, it quickly became obvious that Swift’s concert film had a huge flaw. The film is horribly mixed. Before Swifties attack me for either A.) pointing out a minor flaw or B.) saying anything negative about Swift, hear me out.

Take “Cruel Summer,” for example. Every part of the song, from the backing track to the drums, sounds like they’re evenly tuned. It’s so stuffy and results in Swift’s vocals becoming hidden amid all of the noise. Heck, the crowd noise may be mixed in louder than the actual music.

It’s nearly suffocating, frankly. Are they attempting to hide Swift’s voice? I’d somewhat understand the move considering she gives far from her best vocal performance on “Cruel Summer” (allowing the backing tracks to hit any high notes the song has). Even when Swift does belt out “Devils roll the dice/Angels roll their eyes” in the second pre-chorus, it’s underwhelming , to say the least.

I am sure that Swift enlisted the best producers to mix the song. How such a blunder flew under the radar. That is unless the move was deliberate.

Not a dig at Swift’s artistry

To be clear, this isn’t a dig at Swift’s artistry or her “Eras” tour. Sure, I think it’s self-indulgent, but I enjoy a good Swift carpool karaoke session just as much as the next guy.

Maybe it gets better throughout the rest of the film. The opening notes, though, wouldn’t suggest that.

Her previous concert film for Reputation suffered similar issues. That film was also atrociously edited, which made matters worse.

What is Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour?

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour is Swift’s latest concert film. Taped over three nights from her six-night stay at SoFi Stadium last year, the film captures her epic show.

Instead of going to movie studios for distribution, Swift went right to AMC Theatres. The theater chain distributed the film in fall 2023 and the bet paid off. The “Eras” tour concert film grossed over $260 million worldwide.

A new, extended version has hit Disney+ months after its theatrical run. Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) includes five songs omitted from the theatrical cut.

Taylor Swift’s “Eras” tour is her most ambitious project to date. Over three hours and 40+ songs, Swift takes her fans on a journey through her discography. She will resume the tour in May with shows in France. Swift will the “Eras” tour across Europe before returning to the United States in the fall.

TikTok star Oliver Mills talks getting Taylor Swift's '22' hat at Eras Tour in Melbourne

22 eras tour shoes

MELBOURNE, Australia — You might not know about Oliver Mills , but I bet you want to! The 24-year-old became the 72nd “22" hat recipient at night two of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in Australia.

“It’s in the search bar on TikTok: How do you get the '22' hat?” he said the morning after his most epic night. “I love a bit of mystery surrounding Taylor Swift and the love that runs so deep so I’m going to place myself amongst the mystery.”

Every night of the Eras Tour when she performs her song "22", Swift gifts a hat to a lucky fan plucked by her team. Past recipients have been Bianka Bryant , Kobe and Vanessa’s daughter, and Ally Anderson , the brave 16-year-old who battled a rare soft tissue cancer.

The lucky one comes up to the edge of the stage at the end of “Long Live” when Swift changes backstage into a bedazzled T-shirt for her "Red" era.

“Her team placed me on the stage,” he said. They asked him to kneel between two lights.

“It feels like a perfect night,” Swift sang emerging from the back wall with her black hat and bedazzled “We are never getting back together like ever” shirt. Mills went to dance town. He could not contain his pure and unadulterated excitement.

“When she walked towards me,” he said, “I thought, ‘You’re a real person and you have love and kindness in your eyes.’”

More: Thousands of Taylor Swift fans sing and dance to Eras Tour outside of MCG stadium

A lot was going on at the moment Swift danced down the long catwalk and, after the second chorus, jumped over to him to say, “I love your videos. You are so funny.”

She placed the hat on his head, and he gave her a hug and handed her a bracelet.

“For someone that famous,” he said, “to be that personally, individually connected to her fans is impossible. She’s really, really lovely.”

He watched the concert from the VIP area. Inside the tent, Mills witnessed a proposal during “Love Story,” sang with Australian singer G Flip and danced with Scott Swift.

“He’s still so proud,” Mills said about the singer’s dad. “He was holding his phone camera, and I was thinking my parents would do the same thing.”

So what’s Mills’ story? The comedian and TikTok influencer sings Taylor Swift in the car, and posts fun affirmations and candid mental health chats on @olivermillsn . His goal is to spread positivity. He also gets a lot of comments saying he resembles Harry Styles.

“I’ve only had social media for 11 months,” he said. “Before that I didn’t have social media for six years because I took a massive mental health break.”

As for the autographed hat, Mills said it will be his forever and ever.

“It’ll be a piece of memorabilia that will stay in my house forever,” he said. “When my friends and family come over, they will ask about it and I will allow them to put it on and take photos with it. I will have this unbelievable, mind-blowing story associated with it.”

Moscow metro tour: architectural styles of the subway.

22 eras tour shoes

Duration: 2 hours

Categories: Culture & History, Sightseeing

This metro tour of Russia’s capital and most populous city, Moscow, is your chance to get a unique insight into the beautiful and impressive architecture of the city's underground stations. Admire their marble walls and high ceilings representing Stalin's desire for glory after World War 2, and see first-hand how the interiors change with the rise of new political eras. Your guide will lead you through the complex network, which is one of the most heavily used rapid transit systems worldwide, with over two billion travelers in 2011.

Opened in 1935, Moscow’s underground system, now 190 miles (305 km) long with 185 stations, is today one the largest and most heavily used rapid transit systems in the world. On this Moscow metro tour, discover the impressive architecture of Moscow’s underground stations and learn how they reflect the Soviet era.

Getting around by metro, your local guide will take you through parts of Moscow’s infamous history. Stop at stations built during the time of the USSR (Soviet Union) that are praised as one of the most extravagant architectural projects from Stalin’s time. After World War 2, he was keen on establishing Stalinist architecture to represent his rising regime and a recognized empire. Learn how when his successor started the de-Stalinization of the former Soviet Union in 1953, the extravagancy of the architecture was toned down.

Discover how the unique character of each station reflected several different eras. While stations like Kievskaya and Slavyansky Bulvar have pompous halls and high stucco ceilings brimming with extravagant decorations, those built later, like Volzhskaya, are lightly adorned with sparse furnishings. Architect Alexey Dushkin and painter Alexander Deyneka were just two of the many artists who made these magnificent landmarks possible.

Revel in Moscow's glory days, as well as the years of scarcity, on this fascinating Moscow metro experience. Conclude your tour at one of the central stations in Moscow. If you're lucky, you may even find the secret entrance to the unconfirmed Metro-2, a parallel underground system used by the government -- a mystery which has neither been denied nor confirmed today.

We have a wide range of tours designed to give you an insight into the destination you're travelling in and there is something for everybody. The culture shock ratings considers the destination visited, transport used, activities undertaken and that "Wow, I'm really not at home now!" factor. While generalisations are always tricky, a summary of our gradings is as follows…

This is the least confronting of our tour range. Transport used on the trip is either private or a very comfortable public option, the activities included are usually iconic sites and locations that are not all too confronting.

The tour can include a mix of private and public transport providing a level of comfort that is slightly below what you would experience at home. Sites visited are usually iconic sites, tours can also include market visits, visits to communities etc that provide the traveller with a fantastic insight into destination.

Expect to rough it for parts of this tour, whether it's a packed public bus where you are forced to stand, a visit to a local market, a local community, you are sure to have an experience that is very different from what you're used to at home.

The comforts of your home town and the environment you are used to are more of a rarity. Expect some challenging transport options, visits to local sites and areas that don't resemble anything at home.

You're out there in the global community! You are likely to be exposed to the elements, travel in whatever means of transport is available and basically take it as it comes, whatever comes! It can be tough.

Physical Rating

Our physical rating gives you an idea of how much huffing and puffing you can expect on the tour. While generalisations are always tricky, a summary of our gradings is as follows…

These tours have very limited physical activity. Usually climbing in and out of the transport provided, walking through sites, markets etc included in the itinerary.

These tours involve a bit of physical activity from walking up and down hills in the destination you're travelling in or the surrounding areas. Climbing on and off local transport or riding a bike up to 30 kms along predominantly flat terrain or jumping in a kayak for a gentle paddle on flat water.

These Tours will provide you with some solid physical activity. Whether its bike riding, walking, trekking, kayaking or riding on public transport you will need to have a good level of fitness to enjoy this tour.

Be prepared for some serious physical activity. These tours are our most challenging and involve some serious walking, hiking or bike riding. Can involve step climbs by foot or pedal and some challenging public transport options in the destination you are travelling.

To help you choose the trip that's right for you, we've broken all of our trips down into four service levels. Measuring the comfort level of the accommodation and transport. Taylor Swift is back — and with her return comes a new fashion era.

The Grammy Award-winning musician is known for her distinctive aesthetic changes each album cycle, and her tenth — “Midnights” — is no exception. However, with her upcoming “Eras” tour promoting music from her previous six records, Taylor’s new image blends a mix of her past with a decidedly glamorous present, thanks to a mix of brands and her penchant for a sparkly statement.

With the alternative pop-infused “Midnights” and its core hues of lavender, blue and maroon, Swift isn’t without an aesthetically specific color scheme in tow. Emphasizing this are a bounty of gold and silver hues, as well as a hefty dose of sparkle, curated by longtime stylist Joseph Cassell Falconer. Swift’s new glitz comes from an array of embellished, glittering outfits by brands including Oscar de la Renta , Roberto Cavalli and The Blonds, Christian Louboutin and Aquazzura heels, and an array of eye-watering jewelry from the likes of Lorraine Schwartz, Delfina Delettrez and Ananya.

As these things often do, Swift’s new era began with a change of dress. The particular dress she wore — on the red carpet at the 2022 MTV VMA’s — hailed from Oscar de la Renta, featuring an array of draped crystal strands layered atop a sheer base (the Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim-designed piece was also spotted in the finale of HBO Max’s “Gossip Girl”). Falconer paired the statement piece with equally shiny silver Christian Louboutin sandals, as well as diamond earrings from Lorraine Schwartz.

Swift brought a darker tone to her hometown of Nashville for the NSAI 2022 Nashville Songwriter Awards, hitting the red carpet in an asymmetric slit, cutout and one-sleeved Michael Kors dress. Coated in gleaming black sequins, the piece was further accentuated with embellished Aquazzura sandals, Rahaminov Diamonds earrings and layered Djula and De Beers rings.

While onstage at the American Music Awards in Nov. 2022, Swift glittered again in a shimmering gold jumpsuit by The Blonds — complete with a disco-worthy coating of gold crystals. Further chine came from gold Giuseppe Zanotti heels, as well as an array of gleaming diamond jewelry from Cathy Waterman, Anita Ko, White Space, Natasha Schweitzer, Delfina Delettrez, Alzain, Djula, Nouvel Heritage, Vram, Dana Rebecca and Levian.

Swift’s most viral “Midnights” look to date debuted shortly before she won four trophies at the 2023 Grammy Awards. For the occasion, the musician wore a deep, midnight-blue crop top and maxi skirt by Roberto Cavalli. The beaded Fausto Puglisi creation was boosted with a hidden set of Giuseppe Zanotti heels, as well as massive diamond and stone Lorraine Schwartz statement earrings for a “bejeweled” finish.

The Most Beautiful Stations on the Moscow Metro

22 eras tour shoes

You might have heard that there are some beautiful metro stations in Moscow. Soviet decorations, chandeliers, mosaic painting and statues are common in many of the stations. The good news is that the Moscow Metro does not cost a lot of money and many of the most beautiful stations on the Moscow metro are on the same line, so you can almost get on and off at each station to visit these. Over the New Year holidays, I had a free afternoon and decided to visit some of these stations. Check out what I found below…..

The main stations that you will want to visit are on the Number 5 line, also known as the Circle Line. An advantage of this line is that you can get to it very easily and quickly no matter where you are in Moscow. The announcements on the metro are in Russian as well as English so you don’t need to worry if your Russian language skills are not good.

If, like me, you arrive in Moscow via train from Kyiv , then you will arrive at a metro station which many Muscovites believe to be the most beautiful of them all…..

Kievskaya metro station was opened in 1954 and features white marble walls which curve upwards and have with large mosaics surrounded by a gold trim in a very classical style. The mosaics depict life in Ukraine and was designed by a Ukrainian who wanted to display Ukraine’s influence and contribution to Soviet Russia.

Belorusskaya

If you look at a map of the metro , you will want to go in a clockwise direction on the circle line. So you will want to get on the train going in the Barrikadnaya direction and not Park Kultury. Stay on this line until you reach the 2nd station, Belorusskaya. This station was built in 1952 and like Kievskaya also features white marble pylons and a plaster ceiling.

The ceiling features 12 mosaics in an octagonal shape depicting Belarusian life, while the tiling on the floor is said to resemble a Belarusian quilt. One of the passageway exits of the station has a statue called ‘Belarusian Partisans’ of three men wearing long coats, holding guns and carrying a flag.”

Mayakovskaya

To get to the next station, we need to change onto the green line (line 2) and go just one stop to the station of Mayakovskaya. This station has an art deco theme and, for some, resembles an elaborate ballroom. The columns are faced with stainless steel and pink rhodonite while the marble walls and ceiling have 34 mosaics with the theme “24-hour Soviet Sky. Apparently, Stalin resided here during the 2nd World War as the station was used as a command post for Moscow’s anti-aircraft regiment.

Novoslobodskaya

It’s time to get back on the metro and return to Belorusskaya. At Belorusskaya, change to the circle line again and continue clockwise to the next station, Novoslobodskaya. With its 32 stained glass panels, this station reminds me of a church. The panels were designed by Latvian artists and are surrounded by a brass border.

Prospekt Mira

Back on the metro and again just one stop until our next station, Prospekt Mira. This station was originally called Botanichesky Sad after the nearby Botanical Gardens of the Moscow State University. The pylons are covered in white marble and decorated with floral bas-relief friezes. The ceiling is decorated with casts and several cylindrical chandeliers.

Komsomolskaya

On the metro once more and once more we are going just one stop to the next station – Komsomolskaya. This station is famous for its its yellow ceiling. The chandeliers in this station are huge. The photos below do not do this station justice.  For me, this station resembles a presidential palace.  You hace to see it for yourself to truly appreciate it.

Because of it’s location, this is one of the busiest stations in the Moscow metro as it serves three of the main train stations in the city – Leningradsky, Yaroslavsky, and Kazansky so be prepared for a lot of people.

Elektrozavodskaya

When you are ready to leave Komsomolskaya metro station behind, then get back on the circle line and go one stop to Kurskaya and change to the blue line (line 3) and go to two stops to the Elektrozavodskaya station. This station gets it’s name from a nearby electric light bulb factory and has a somewhat industrial but also futuristic style, with 6 rows of circular lamps (there are 318 lamps in total). I think this is one of the most beautiful stations on the Moscow metro for how unique it is. The station was opened in 1944 after a delay because of the 2nd World War and features 12 marble bas-reliefs of the struggle on the home front during the war.

Ploschad Revolyutsii

Back on the metro line 3 (but in the other direction), getting off at the 3rd stop – Ploschad Revolyutsii (Revolution Square). This is located underneath the square in Moscow of the same name and is a short walk from Red Square in the city centre. It is the perfect place to end a visit around Moscow’s metro. The station features red and yellow marble arches with a total of 76 sculptures in between each arch. The sculptures are supposed to represent the people of the Soviet Union and include soldiers, farmers, industrial workers, children etc… I noticed a lot of people touching the golden chicken in the photo below as well as the show of the woman. I am assuming that this is for good luck.

Kievskaya definitely caught me off guard. Didn’t know Moscow metro stations were THIS extravagant! Mayakovskaya is gorgeous too with the marble walls and mosaics. I might just need to book a flight over to admire all of these!

22 eras tour shoes

Do it! Kievskaya was my first introduction to the Moscow metro as I got an overnight train from Kyiv.

You know, in the States, all we ever hear is bad stuff about Russia. It’s nice to see other (and lovely!) dimensions of such a controversial place.

It’s the same in the UK which is why I prefer going to see somewhere and making up my own mind. It’s all ‘politics and bullshit’ as I say

' src=

I went to Moscow about 13years for Christmas and went to train stations, so I can see these amazing mosaics and chandeliers. I agree with you that are beautiful Stations for sure and I could of wandered around for days. I think Kievskaya is definitely my favourite out of them all and I even have some similar pictures as you.

I imagine Moscow would have been a little different 13 years ago but these stations have probably always looked beautiful

Food and Footprints

You chose some great stations for this write up! Beautiful details in these stations and would love to visit them sometime. Particularly like the Komsomolskaya station with that yellow ceiling!

Thank you very much. Komsomolskaya seems to be a lot of peoples favourite stations too

Wow! Without the text I would have thought them to be some museum or gallery.

I know exactly what you mean!

Rosie Fluskey

Wow, it is just stunning! How does anyone get to work with so much to look at. I’m surprised at the very bourgeois-looking Komsomolskaya station. I would have thought it was all too Tzarist looking, but then I haven’t been to Russia yet lol. This has just made me want to go more!

' src=

Wow, that’s a lot of artwork. I wonder how old some of these pieces are?

Generally most of the stations are from 1940-1960 approximately. The later stations are more functional than style.

' src=

My mother-in-law was in Moscow fifty years ago and still raves about the metro stations. So far, I could not imagine much. But now! The pictures are great and I think it’s almost a pity that this splendor is underground. But for every user of the Metro can enjoy a free trip to the world of art. Susanne

True. It is like having a free trip to an art museum/gallery. I hope that you can one day visit Moscow and see for yourself.

' src=

Oh wow, I would never have known that these were metro stations. The ceilings remind me of how you need to look up sometimes, even in the commuter rush!

It is true about life in general, we just go from A to B looking directly in front of us instead of around us

' src=

Wow, I would have never guessed that these were stations. The decor is so pretty and not one I’m used to seeing at metro stations. Love the ceiling at The Komsomolskaya metro station.

They certainly don’t look like metro stations. The ceiling there is one of my favourites too!
