I am Wild About Holidays

I have just come back from an amazing Caribbean Cruise which Diane and Caroline at 'Wild about Holidays' booked and arranged for me. Excellent Customer Service and quick response to questions. Lovely little touches like finding welcome home tea bags in the post on my return. So impressed I tasked them to find me another holiday for later in the year, I knew where I wanted to go and they came up trumps so booked again with them. We have not long returned from an…

We have not long returned from an amazing trip to Reykjavik arranged by the utterly brilliant Diane and Caroline. This is the 4th time we have used them and cannot recommend them highly enough. All trips pre booked and fabulous, Northern Lights, Whale Watching and a day trip exploring waterfalls, geysers and an outdoor hot spa in freezing temperatures. Nothing is too much trouble for them and a minor query whilst over there was dealt with immediately. We will be using them again soon that’s for sure.

Big shout out to Elliot and Not Just…

Big shout out to Elliot and Not Just Travel for arranging our trip to Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Cairo, Egypt. Every thing was A1, from lodging, transportation/transfers, tours and the entire package. Elliott was available and responsive if we had questions. He recommended vendors and suppliers that the entire group of eight enjoyed. Thanks to Fiona Allen for advice on a cruise

Many thanks to Fiona Allen for helping us book our first cruise In Search of Northern Lights with Fred Olsen. Fiona supported us with all our questions and provided information on what to think about as part of the trip. We had a great cruise, and even got to see the Northern Lights one night. African adventure- booked with Dalene Ferreira

Dalene Ferreira assisted to plan and book a trip to Tanzania, Zanzibar with flights home to South Africa. The safari in Tanzania was nothing short of amazing. We had beautiful accommodation, a lovely guide Christopher and saw a lot of wildlife. The flights and transfers were all smoothly arranged. 100% recommend!

We recently used Not Just Travel to organise our two week trip around the west coast of Canada. I would recommend them to everyone! All the usual stress of organising flights, accommodation and transfers was all taken care for us. Friendly and very efficient company.

Very well organised and efficient in presenting different options for our trip to Thailand. Tom and Hidden Hills Travel are above all super knowledgeable and helpful in designing and packaging the right holiday for you. I have used Tom several times now in booking different types of holidays. Each time he listens to the brief, asks relevant and pertinent questions and then comes back with multiple options to choose from. Gemma Poppy Outram

We have used Gemma Poppy Outram from Not Just Travel a few times to book our cruises. What I love the most is the continuous customer service after booking. Nothing is too much trouble for her and Gemma goes the extra mile every time delivering outstanding, first class personalised service again and again. I wouldn't book with anyone else now. She has even arranged a Birthday Cake for me on an upcoming cruise. Amazing Holiday in Thailand

We have just returned from an amazing holiday in Thailand organised by Ewa James for us. We had 5 days in Phuket, 2 days at Elephant Hills and 5 days in Khao Lak. It was a perfect mixture of exploring and new experiences and being able to relax. Ewa provided great information before we went and also sorted out an issue we had while we were away. We would definitely recommend her.

Not Just Travel: Trip to Abu Dhabi to see the pre-season cricket T20 counties cup tournament.

Not Just Travel arranged a package for a friend and myself (together with a few others) for us to see the Abu Dhabi Counties Cup (a pre-season warm weather cricket tournament) and we also did some sight seeing. The package put together was ideal and the arrangements by warren worked our very well with good flights on Etihad, an excellent hotel (Le Royal Meridien Abu Dhabi) and all transfer happened as planned. We did not have any issues,

Holiday to Sri Lanka and Malaysia

We booked a holiday to Sri Lanka and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with Sejal. I had done little to no research on the destinations and Sejal was able to offer a full, relevant itinerary for me and my family, catering specifically for our two young children. She completely took all the stress out of planning our holiday and it was better than we could have imagined. All flights, hotels and transfers were exactly what we wanted and everything was seamless. When there was a small issue with our final transfer, Sejal responded immediately to my message and found the solution for us. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again for our next holiday!

First cruise

We used Not just Travel - Latitude Life Andrew Walker took on the task to help us deside and book the first cruise for us. We decided on P&O Brittania and tour of Caribbean. With Andrew's help in setting it all up, advice from cabin selection to telling us clear what everything meant including telling us that the cruisers normally sets up Facebook group somewhere I found lots of helpful tips. We was abel to set up a clear payment plan. All was made so easy only feedback that is something for the company to take forward is help when 72 hours before you leave have to upload Barbados immigration form. I would have struggled and needed help. It's easy if you do technology. We had the most amazing first cruise. We loved the advice on cabin and meal plan. I am allready actively searching through information that Andrew has sent me on the next cruise. Andrew is easy to communicate with and nothing was a silly question he took time to explain so well. And even on return contacted us to ask how we found it. Such a attentive service.

Lapland experience through Ewa at NJT travel

The recommendation from Ewa, The NJT agent , was very accurate and the trip exceeded my expectations. Ewa gave me advice on what to take with me. More info on the trip itself would have been useful - such as the excursions included, and a suggested list of items to take sent by email would have been extra helpful. Ewa booked my car parking at the airport which made life easier.

Our travel agent was Jules, who was absolutely superb throughout the process. Her recommendations of hotel, restaurants and things to do really helped us and made the holiday enjoyable She was always available when needed and very knowledgeable! Stress free and perfect

We contacted Adrian Doyle - Not Just Travel following a recommendation from our neighbours who use him for all their travel requirements. Adrian didnt dissapoint. From the limited information I provided Adrian managed to come up with the perfect package and right on budget. We can't thank Adrian enough for taking the pressure off, leading up to our departure and it was comforting to know he was at the end of the phone should we need him whilst we were away. Absolutely fantastic.

Absolutely fantastic. Ian who we dealt with was exceptional and organised the most amazing holiday in Bali. Nothing was too much trouble and Ian even checked in with us before the holiday to make sure we had all the information required. The accommodation picked was beyond our expectations. HIDDEN HILLS TRAVEL is our first point of contact for travel needs and advice. Whether a flight, overseas package or reliving a Maldives honeymoon some ten years on, then HIDDEN HILLS TRAVEL has done it all for us over the years. Reassuring that Tom Hill provides a service from initial enquiry until the moment that we land back home, as a ONE point of contact but because the holiday is efficiently scoped, providing different options before booking then seldom have to re-engage. That said he always provides timely support throughout the lead up and remains available to contact to clarify every detail both little and large. My son and I were after a short 4 day

My son and I were after a short 4 day golfing holiday break with no idea where to go. Contacted Adrian Doyle Not Just Travel who organised everything, flights, hotel transfers, golf courses to play including green fees and buggy hire. Personal booking service that catered for our needs.

Andy Cunningham at the Not Just Travel Willow Brook Travel Shop is amazing. He spent ages sourcing a cruise to Norway for us. We needed to ensure that there was an evacuation chair space available as my husband takes a wheelchair for longer distances. This information is not readily available on the website and could easily be overlooked. He ensured that all our needs were catered for in a seamless booking process. He is a star.

Cricket trip to Abu Dhabi

Warren at Not Just Travel sorted out a trip to Abu Dhabi to see some cricket. First class service from initial enquiry through to arriving home. Was more than happy to change the start date to accommodate my preferences. All went to plan each committed pick up went to plan and they even made changes on resources when I wanted to travel a little later to one match. Neil the local contact for the cricket was very knowledgeable and helpful. Overall it was great value for the trip.

I had been reading the many positive reviews about Not Just Travel with James and Natasha for some months and finally decided to book a P&O cruise with them. They are absolutely brilliant and I cannot recommend them highly enough! They talked me through my options, arranged the booking and provided all the important information ahead of our trip, so we were fully prepped. They contacted us when we arrived on board to make sure everything was as expected and even sent a 'welcome home' card! Escape to the sun and sea

My husband and I wanted to escape the cold wet winter and needed help in finding an apartment in the somewhere in the sun. I contacted Anna Ironmonger ,Not Just Travel,who found us a lovely comfortable apartment with a fantastic terrace looking out onto the sea in Player de Santiago in La Gomera.our whole trip was organised brilliantly and professionally.Everything worked out perfectly.We had good communication beforehand and it was great to hand over all the arrangements of flights,ferries and taxis without any hassle.I would definitely use Anna again for organising ur next holiday.

Pete & Laurelle Colvin from Not Just Travel, put together a superb trip for us, and within the budget we specified. The hotel was just what we needed, and all of the hand picked excursions were excellent. Everything ran like clockwork from start to finish, so we could not have asked for more. I will definitely be using them again to arrange other trips for us.

Gemma Poppy Outram

We have been regular cruisers for 15 years, being fortunate to be able to have 3-4 cruises a year. Initially for the first few years we were given a loyalty bonus, but unfortunately their standards have dropped significantly. We tried to rearrange a booking for next year made on board last year, but our travel agent was abrupt and rude. She called us back the next day, when we told her we had made alternative arrangements using Gemma, who is recommended by many cruisers particularly on P&O Facebook groups. We have actually used her services recently for a large family group this summer. But the bookings made on board, we're automatically sent to our previous cruise agents. Once we informed them they had made alternative arrangements we said it was because 1. We were offered no discount on a new cruise 2. We were quoted the highest price advertised, with no discussion of cheaper options 3. The agent was rude and abrupt. Without any emotion she responded P&O are refusing you both travel, so I was phoning to tell you, they wouldn't have you anyway, and they will be refunding your deposits for the cruise you have booked. Gemma had the decency to ask specifically what the issue was which we were told about on board. I unfortunately woke, half asleep, and walked out of the cabin to find a toilet, which I did, but was then lost. Still recovering after surgery on a brain tumour 4 years ago, I became frightened and embarrassed. I found my way to reception where I could tell them the name of the person booking, and they kindly took me back to my cabin to a rather stunned husband. Gemma answered every message, of which there were many. Was polite and courteous and took all the pressure off me. Because of the risk of getting lost, and it may have been linked to brainsurgery, I understood their need to safeguard me and the company. But I knew the advisory was I couldn't travel alone, and not an issue if accompanied. Gemma contacted p&o, who contacted the ship to get clear details. Within 2 days she had confirmed our booking, calmed my anxiety of letting my family down, and got us something in writing that states its only me that at the moment there is a precautionary concern. She responded to me at various times in the day. She was never closed. Where as far as our previous agents were concerned, it wasn't something they were prepared to look under. We were told neither of us could travel. For future cruises we will only ever use Gemma. Nothing is too much trouble, and she worked so hard to get me confirmed repnses in writing within 48 hours, AND she gave us a substantial discount. She is clearly dedicated and I'm not surprised she has so many awards. Thank you again for everything Gemma. You're a star

Anna Ironmonger was super helpful and responsive in helping us get together a game plan to visit London and Paris. Anna educated us on options for saving money on public transit and visiting multiple sights and also provided secure means for booking accommodations in advance. DO NOT SIGN UP TO THIS COMPANY

If you're considering signing up to this company write down concerns and send them in writing. They will never reply. They will always use sneaky tactics to get you on a call or zoom meeting where before you start you'll be lied to in regards to 88% of holidays being cheaper. None are cheaper. You then want to cancel a couple of days after training and they just say you're in an 18 months contract. Also the reviews for this company would not be half as high if they didn't ask people to do AT THE END OF TRAINING - no one in these reviews is making any money they are filling in reviews at the companies request at the end of training having made nothing. Steer clear of these absolute scumbags.

Fantastic as always!

I have used this business for several trips now, the most recent one being Disney. Theresa Kelly planned everything to suit us, I gave our budget and what we wanted to do and it was perfect. If there were any glitches such as a little delay at the airport Theresa messaged me before this information was even available at the airport. She’s always on the ball making sure our trip goes as smoothly as possible and any questions or problems whilst away I know she’s there at the end of the phone. Theresa went above and beyond on my previous trip to Lanzarote, we travelled on my birthday, there waiting in our hotel room on arrival was a note and a bottle of bubbly which was very welcomed after a long morning travelling. We’ve not spent a penny on advertising to grow our successful travel franchise

Not Just Travel franchisees Natasha & James Oliphant work on their business part-time, haven’t spent a penny on ads and are still successful. They told us how they do it.

Both Natasha and James are busy people. Natasha works part-time for the NHS as well as owning a beauty business. James previously worked full-time in IT. They were looking for something James could thrive in and – with travel being a combined passion of theirs – starting a personal travel consultancy was a natural choice.

“We were in lockdown and thinking about what’s next for us both,” says James. “In terms of what are our passions?

What would we like to do for the rest of our lives? And it was very clear to me that doing nine to five wasn’t the future.”

The couple spent a long time exploring their options, and it was clear that travel was the winning sector to focus on.

James continued: “From our very first date, we spoke about the types of travel we’d been on individually and where we’d like to go in the future. It’s always been a big part of our lives.”

And Natasha elaborated that it was after a bad experience elsewhere, that they realised they could really make a difference.

“We had a really bad experience as a consumer after booking a holiday with another company and then having to cancel due to the pandemic. It was a catalyst to saying ‘we could do this so much better’. After watching the video tour, reading reviews and speaking to others out there, I knew The Travel Franchise from Not Just Travel was right for us. The one thing all our friends know us for is our passion for travel. So, this is a natural step for us, it wasn’t surprising for anyone we knew.”

Word of mouth has always driven their business.

The couple love talking about holidays. Natasha explains that although you get everything you need to get started with the franchise, you still need to put the effort in to make it a success.

“It can be hard-going, but it’s all about the kind of personality you have. You’ve got to have confidence. Just go out there and start talking to people about holidays.”  

They also leverage social media sensibly, being helpful and active online.

“We’ve not paid for one advertisement since joining and have just worked social media,” says Natasha. “Clients find us from our Facebook page. And we join a lot of the holiday groups and provide free advice.”

Natasha also explains how her beauty business is a great place for conversations about holidays.

“A lady booked an eyebrow wax with me for £10. It turned into a holiday to the Maldives worth £23,000.”

And being on holiday is perhaps the best place to find customers of all.

James told us:

“I think every holiday that we’ve been on, we’ve got a booking from someone that we’ve met. We went on a cruise at Christmas, met a couple of people and they booked with us to go on a couple more cruises.”

And a recent trip to South Africa created 13 new customers at once.

“We recently did a booking for Borneo. It was 13 individual bookings because we had taken a trip to South Africa and made friends with everybody on the trip. And we’re actually doing the tour with them as leaders, taking all 13 as our clients.”

This is a business for the long-term – and it was free…

It shines through that both Natasha and James love their work and their customers. For them, holidays aren’t just about making bookings. They’re about helping people create memories.

“Obviously we’re here to make money, and the value of the bookings are great,” James says. “But it’s the stories behind them that make them stick. We’ve helped people propose. We’ve helped people spread ashes. We’ve brought together families. I think those untold stories of travel are what really make every day special.”

That level of care and attention means people are coming back to book again and again. And they’re referring others to do the same, with a 5/5 rating on Trustpilot for their services.

Founder of "Natasha's Just Brittle" shares story of sisterhood, launching successful businesses

BALTIMORE -- We're learning the story behind a local entrepreneur who learned the power of sisterhood and used that power to launch a very successful café in Baltimore.

Natasha Brown-Waintwright, founder and CEO of "Natasha's Just Brittle" and "B'more Made with Pride" stopped by the WJZ studio to share her success story.

"It starts in 2009 doing a project with my daycare children and teaching them a lesson ," she said. "We made cakes and cookies and brownies, and one child said, 'Can we add candy to the menu.?' In 2009, I came up with the all natural brittle. In 2010, I started the online business and that's how it all started. The rest is history." 

Brown-Waintwright, in 2017, got on QVC, and in an instant, received a surge in orders for her gourmet treats through the company "Natasha's Just Brittle" that led to an even bigger venture,

"I had to find a processing facility to make the product," she said. "I could not find anything so Chinese restaurant in my area closed down. He had been there for 30 years. He retired and I opened my first processing plant right there in 2017. 

Brown-Waintwright says the community is a big piece to her success since launching "B'more with Pride."

"With B'more, I knew other entrepreneurs needed a licensed place to cook just like I did," she said. "So in 2018 I had the facility licensed as a dual commercial kitchen. So not only am I in a processing plant, we make products and we make sauces but I'm a commercial kitchen with 25 food artisans, under my belt working out of my kitchen."
