Sail Venice sailing cruises offer an opportunity to encounter a variety of wildlife such as dolphins, manatee, osprey, herons, and other native and migratory birds.

Sunset sailing cruises generally depart one hour and a half before sunset. A relaxing sailing charter will make your family vacation one you will all remember for a lifetime!  Read the featured blog post about Sail Venice here . 

Sail Venice cruises 5 times daily–morning, afternoon and evening.

Each cruise includes complimentary light snacks, soda, water, beer, and wine.

The sailboat features a bimini top for shade and there is a restroom available on board. The crew is available for assistance in boarding if needed.

Sail Venice’s sailboat can accommodate up to six guests–call if your group is larger than six.

Sail Venice’s sailboat is docked at Crow’s Nest Marina slip #10.

You should plan to arrive at the dock 15 minutes prior to departure.

Parking is available near the boat in the Crow’s Nest Restaurant parking lot with overflow parking just a block to the east of the restaurant at the South Jetty.

Reservations are required. All cruises can be booked online or by calling 941.554.2190.

You may bring your own cooler or adult beverages.  It is recommended that you dress in layers and bring a light jacket, sunglasses, hat and sunscreen.  In the afternoon sun it can get quite warm, conversely with cool water and wind it can get quite cool.  There is a Bimini to provide shade and a  comfortable cabin with a  head ( the marine equivalent of a restroom).  There are also facilities at the marina as well The Crows Nest. You will be instructed in our safety procedures before departing, we will tailor your experience to your expectations.

So much better than anticipated!

I’ve done two dolphin tours with two different companies in Englewood. This one was a sunset cruise and we really weren’t expecting a lot of animal activity. Boy was I wrong! We really lucked out and saw a pod of females, a baby on Mamas back, a lone male dolphin and a manatee. Captain Sue and Captain Eric were so professional and informative. Good music and no corny jokes! Thank you for making my friends’ visit to Englewood so much more special!

Amazing Sunset Cruise!

We had an amazing sunset cruise with Christina as our guide and Justin as our captain. This was my daughter’s first sunset cruise and she was blown away. Christina’s knowledge of the wildlife was very informative and fun to learn. Our captain even joined in sharing why no wake signs were implemented to protect manatees and how much they have helped. If you are scrolling and trying to decide on which boat to book, pick them because they were amazing!!

I definitely recommend this sunset tour!!! Its was a little over 2 hours, we saw lots of dolphins close up, flamingos, and a beautiful sunset. Kayla and cpt Justin were great guides, loaded with info and fun to talk with about the area!! I will do this again the next time we are in town!

Gem of at trip!!!

Boat tour was well worth the price. Captain Sue and her first mate were informative and great fun. We took the morning critter cruise and spotted dolphins. Boat is clean and comfortable. I would take this cruise again and would recommend to anyone waiting to spend a few hours out on the water.

Looking for an exciting evening on the water with a twist? Have you ever shared a progressive dinner with your friends? Let us do the driving and take you on one of the most wonderful experiences of your life. A progressive appetizer cruise on the Homosassa springs river is just the ticket. All you have to do is show up at the dock and our well-trained crew will take care of the rest. Sunset tours can be a very relaxing and romantic experience. We want you to enjoy just that! These cruises can be experienced year-round if weather permits. The boat is enclosed so most weather conditions can be met with confidence. The cruise will leave the dock and return approximately 4 hours later. We are conveniently located 1.5 hours from Tampa, 2 hours from Orlando, and 1 hour from Ocala and the Villages Florida. The boat can not wait longer than 10 Mins. past your scheduled departure time. If you are more than 10 minutes late you will have to reschedule.

At dinner, you will be treated to All-You-Can-Eat BBQ, featuring savory, unlimited fall-off-the-bone baby-back ribs, hand-battered chicken tenders, freshly made coleslaw,  corn on the cob, and cornbread. 

For our Vegan/Vegetarian guests, we offer Vegetable and Tofu skewers, served over brown rice. ( Our menu offers no gluten-free options )

After dinner, you are treated to our entertainment show.

With a line-up that changes nightly, you may be entertained by magicians, comedians, singers, or impressionists. 

To close the show nightly is our spectacular Polynesian Review! Polynesian fire dancers and drummers, highlighting their unique cultural heritage.

About the Vessel

Jungle Queen Riverboat holds up to 385 passengers on the upper and lower deck levels. A full bar is available, along with snacks.

Cruise Details

All cruises sail from Bahia Mar Yachting Center on A1A.

The cruise lasts approximately 4 hours. The length of the tour may on occasion vary due to weather conditions, and/or traffic on waterways

Parking is available at the Bahia Mar Yachting Center at the same address as the Jungle Queen.

Parking will be $13.00 per vehicle and will need to pay for parking on the Jungle Queen Riverboat.

There is also public Ft Lauderdale metered parking.

Boarding starts approximately forty-five (45) minutes before departure.

The ship departs at 6:00 PM SHARP . Please arrive 45 minutes early.

The cruise returns to the Bahia Mar Yachting Center at approximately 10 PM.

Important Notices

To ensure you arrive in time, we recommend arriving at least 45 minutes before your cruise departure time to allow for traffic, parking, purchasing tickets, or exchanging your vouchers for boarding passes and boarding.

When you purchase tickets online you will be sent an email with a confirmation number & barcode. If you have the barcode and can show it on a mobile device, upon arrival you may proceed to the boat to check in.

If you can not show the barcode on a mobile device, please print the email confirmation with barcode and proceed to the boat to check in upon arrival.

DINNER CRUISE REFUND POLICY:

• Cancelation over 24 hours: Full refund
• Cancelation within 24 hours: Option to rebook or receive a credit for a future cruise.
• There are no refunds for cruises canceled within 24 hours by the guest
• Should you arrive past 5:50pm and cannot board the cruise, you will receive a credit towards a future date .

CANCELLATION OF CRUISE POLICY:

If a cruise is canceled by Jungle Queen, guests will have the option to receive either a full refund or a future cruise credit.

No weapons are permitted on the boat.

No food or beverages are permitted to be brought onto the boat.

Infants (under 2 years of age) must be in our passenger count. When making a reservation, please indicate you have an infant accompanying you.

Dinner Cruise in the Venitian Lagoon

Departure place

You would like, a romantic and timeless night out, see the lights of the venetian laguna, a candlelit dinner on an italian galleon, seasonal italian cuisine, essential information *, duration 3 hours, starting time 8:00 pm , 8:30 pm.

Spend a unique evening in Venice aboard a traditional galleon. Discover the Laguna Veneta from aboard a magnificent sailing ship while enjoying a fine dinner composed of Italian delicacies. 

Once onboard, you'll be shown to your candlelit table for a welcome drink while you wait for the ship to set sail.

Drift through the canals of Venice towards the lagoon, passing the islands of Torcello, Mazzorbo and Murano, before heading back towards Venice to admire the La Serenissima lit up by night.

During the cruise, you'll be served a 5-course dinner of seasonal Italian cuisine, complete with appetizer and wine (see below for menu details).

When you book, you will be asked to choose the position of your table on the galleon: 

• Main Deck Table  with outside view
• Prow or Stern Table  : the prow is the most private area of the boat, with only two small portholes at the top and with no view on the outside. The stern area is connected to the kitchen/bar and has small windows for a partial view on the outside. In the prow and in the stern areas, tables are laid for 4 so reservations for 2 could be seated with other couples, but the tables are big enough to allow each couple to have their own privacy.
• Availability: Wednesdays and Fridays, and on several weekends and week days depending on the season
• Time: 8pm or 8:30pm (depending on the season)
• Duration : 3 hours approx.
• Departure point: Museo Navale
• Please arrive  for boarding 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time  
• The wine served with the dinner is either Cabernet Sauvignon or Chardonnay "Podere del Nidran"
• Menus are provided on an indicative basis and are subject to change
• Activity accessible to people with reduced mobility
• The itinerary may be changed at the discretion of the captain, depending on the weather conditions
• A minimum of 8 participants is needed for this activity to take place
• In the event of cancellation of the activity due to weather conditions or other circumstances beyond the control of the cruise line prior to embarcation, a refund or an alternative date will be offered.If it will not be possible to leave the dock to start the sailing or to continue the sailing, after the boarding of the guests and/or after the beginning of the event/dinner, due to technical reasons like breakdowns, the conditions of the weather or sea, the closing of harbour due to order of the competent authority and/or due to force majeure beyond the control of the Captain or the management, no money will be refunded
• The event will take place even with adverse weather condition as the Galleon is equipped with a covering structure and has heating during winter whereas during summer it is covered in case of rain.
• Special dietary needs and food allergies must be notified at least 48 hours in before the dinner cruise.
