Rappers will kick trek off on Nov 19th

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony have announced their farewell. The rappers will retire as a five-man unit following their forthcoming tour, The Last Bone Tour, 2022/2023.

TMZ reports that Krayzie, Layzie, Bizzy, Wish and Flesh are reuniting to kick off the trek at Bobby Dee and Snoop Dogg’s High Hopes Concert series on November 19th at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, CA. The concert also features Ice Cube, Cypress Hill, Method Man, Redman, Warren G, Xzibit and others.

It was also announced that Bizzy wouldn’t be involved beyond the SoCal date. The rapper called out his fellow bandmates for the exclusion on his new song “ Bizzy Get’s Busy .” He raps, “Why this music sound so shitty? / Why the fuck is Bone Thugs doing a show without Bizzy? / Rest in peace to fam litty, n-ggas will shoot you in your city / Why the fuck is Bone Thugs doing a show without Bizzy? / I’ll say it again, you should be able to say what you want if they really your friends.”

The rapper backtracks those claims on social media, stating they’re for marketing purposes.

“This one for the Bone Thug fans. I told y’all i got some surprises with this release. I’M BACK ON TOUR WITH BONE THUGS N HARMONY!!!” he shares on Instagram.

“Ya’ll gonna wanna see this! Last time for bb so lets do this sht BIG!!!! Its called the high hopes tour and i will be posting more dates very soon. Haven’t been on the road in a sec so this gonna be good! Big BIG!

“p.s. for the blogs and pages cappin’ there is always a method to my madness. Bring the numbers up , make the sht special. Keep things fresh and spruced. Its called marketing and promoting. Today, kindred spirits and key figures in the hip-hop underground, Bones, Xavier Wulf , and Eddy Baker, announced they will hit the road this summer for BONES x Xavier Wulf x Eddy Baker: The InLovingMemory Tour , the first-ever co-headlining tour by these three artists, and Bones’ first time back on the road in four years.

BONES, Xavier Wulf, and Eddy Baker have been doing their thing away from the limelight for over a decade, creating their own strain of hip-hop in the dark corners of the internet. The three artists consciously avoid the hip-hop mainstream, but they’re still doing numbers: TeamSESH CEO BONES recently earned his first-ever GOLD certification from the RIAA for his 2014 hit “ HDMI ,” while Hollow Squad CEO Xavier Wulf went GOLD with his 2014 Blood Shore Season 2 cut “Psycho Pass.” BONES, Wulf, and Baker recently treated fans to a preview of the upcoming tour, joining forces on the main stage during Rolling Loud California 2023 .

The tour announcement continues as busy 2023 for BONES. He recently shared TheWitch&TheWizard , a haunting album created with longtime TeamSESH producer Greaf , a close collaborator of BONES who co-helmed his surrenderdorothy and OREGONTRAIL side projects. In March, BONES and Eddy Baker teamed up for “YellowStone ,” the first single from Jones Peak , their upcoming collaborative album. The first album by BONES and Eddy Baker as a duo since 2019’s cult favorite SparrowsCreek , Jones Peak arrives on April 14 via TeamSESH / EMPIRE .

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Announce Their Farewell Tour With Snoop Dogg & More

By Tony M. Centeno

September 15, 2022

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are bowing out of life on the road with their upcoming Farewell Tour, and they're reconnecting with some famous friends for their final ride. According to a report TMZ published on Thursday, September 15, Layzie, Krayzie, Wish, Flesh and Bizzy Bone are planning to go on one last tour as a five-man group. The iconic rap collective, which was formed in Cleveland, Ohio in 1991, is reuniting for Snoop Dogg and Bobby Dee's "High Hopes Concert" series. "Tha Crossroads" rappers join a stacked lineup of OG's including Ice Cube , Method Man & Redman , Warren G , Xzibit , Cypress Hill and Tha Dogg Pound .

The festival, which was announced back in August, is set to go down on November 19 in Toronto, Canada. It will be hosted by Cypress Hill's Dr. Greenthumb, who is really B-Real in fake teeth and a weird surgeon’s uniform. As far as the rest of Bone Thugs' tour, the group will still continue to hit stages across the country, but only as a quartet. Bizzy Bone will reportedly not be apart of the rest of the tour. There's no telling what's in store for the "High Hopes Concert," especially since Bizzy just called out the other group members for touring without him. The 46-year-old rapper dropped his new song "Bizzy Gets Busy," in which he disses his fellow group members for doing shows without him. The song is featured on his new solo album I'm Busy , which dropped on Monday. “Why this music sound so sh*tty?” he raps. “Why the f**k is Bone Thugs doing a show without Bizzy?/Rest in peace to fam litty, n****s will shoot you in your city/Why the f**k is Bone Thugs doing a show without Bizzy? I’ll say it again, you should be able to say what if they really your friends.” Despite the drama brewing among him and the group, Bizzy's rep assured TMZ that everyone is still down for the upcoming reunion.

SKID ROW Postpones Three More Shows Due To Illness

SKID ROW has posted three more concerts as several members of the band and crew battle the flu and COVID-19.

Earlier today, the veteran rockers, who recently launched the fourth leg of their "The Gang's All Here" with BUCKCHERRY , released the following statement via social media: "TO THE SKID ROW FAITHFUL

"We have some unfortunate news to share regarding our remaining U.S. tour dates this month in Boise, ID; Reno, NV; and Wheatland, CA.

"Over the last couple of days, several band members & crew have come down with the flu and Covid. We prioritize the well-being of our band members, crew and the people around us and have no choice but to postpone the remaining 2023 U.S. tour dates.

"The Boise, ID date is now postponed to February 27, 2024 Reno, NV and Wheatland, CA will be postponed to 2024 (details forthcoming)

"We understand that this is disappointing news, and we share your frustration.

"For the Boise, ID date we kindly ask for your patience and understanding as all tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date.

"Otherwise please contact your point of purchase as you will be eligible for a refund.

"Thanks for your understanding and continued loyalty.

"You are truly the best! - Snake , Rachel , Scotti , Rob , Erik ".

SKID ROW previously canceled its concert in Denver, Colorado Tuesday night (December 12) due to the musicians' battle with the flu.

Three months ago, SKID ROW postponed the third North American leg of "The Gang's All Here" tour with BUCKCHERRY until early next year. Singer Erik Grönwall , who joined SKID ROW in January 2022 as the replacement for ZP Theart , later explained that he needed "more time to recover" from a recent illness due to the fact that he received a bone marrow transplant after being diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia two and a half years ago.

SKID ROW 's latest album, "The Gang's All Here" , arrived in October 2022 via earMUSIC . The group recorded most of the LP in Nashville, Tennessee with producer Nick Raskulinecz , who has previously worked with FOO FIGHTERS , STONE SOUR , HALESTORM , EVANESCENCE , RUSH and ALICE IN CHAINS , among many others.

Theart , who had been in the group for more than six years, played his final gig with SKID ROW in February 2022 before being officially given the boot.

Julie Moreno , Executive Producer/Digital Content

SAN ANTONIO – Some 90′s icons are bringing old-school hip hop to San Antonio this summer.

“The Legends of Hip Hop” Concert Tour starring Ice Cube will stop at the Frost Bank Center on Aug. 3.

Recommended Videos

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, E-40, Juvenile, Amanda Perez, and N2 Deep will also perform their biggest 90′s hits during the collaborative concert.

General tickets go on sale Friday, March 15 at 10 a.m. at FrostBankCenter.com or on Ticketmaster.com . For exclusive presale access, sign up at Frost Bank Center’s All Access Newsletter and select the “Hip Hop” genre.

The following is background on each artist provided by the tour promoters:

Ice Cube, Born O’shea Jackson and from Compton is no doubt a rap pioneer, legendary lyricist, movie star, director, and media mogul. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of N.W.A. in 2016. His songs are iconic and include a vast catalogue of music including “It Was a Good Day,” “Check Yo Self,” “You Can Do it,” “Friday,” to name a few. In 2022, he said the San Antonio crowd was passionate and welcomed him and all the artists in a huge way and that he is really looking forward to being back again this summer.

Bone Thugs-N Harmony is an American Hip Hop Group composed of rappers, Bizzy Bone, Wish Bone, Layzie Bone, Krayzie Bone, and Flesh-n-Bone. Formed in 1991 in Cleveland, Ohio, the group has had a string of hits, and their songs remain classic today including “The Crossroads,” “Thuggish Ruggish Bone,” “1st of the Month” to name a few.

E-40, known as the Ambassador of the Bay, is a Northern California rap star who broke into the national scene with the single “Tell Me Where to Go” which was produced by Lil Jon. His other big songs include “You and Dat,” “Captain Save a Hoe” and “Sprinkle Me” are just a few that he will perform at the concert.

Juvenile, known as “Juvee the Great” is a Southern born rapper who is best known for his music with Birdman’s Cash Money Records in the late 1990′s and early 2000′s. His biggest hits include “Back that Azz Up,” “Slow Motion” and “Ha” all of which he will perform amongst many others.

Amanda Perez is a Mexican R&B/Rapper from Fort Wayne, Indiana. She has always had a love and appreciation for her strong Texas following and will perform such hits including “Angel,” I Pray” and “Candy Kisses.” She said it’s been too long since she was in San Antonio and can’t wait to be back this summer.

N2 Deep is an American Chicano rap duo formed in Vallejo CA in 1989 with original members Jame’s “Jay Tee” Trujillo and Timothy “TL” Lyon. In 1992 the duo scored with a huge song called “Back to The Hotel” that for many has become a party anthem. It was a song about how crazy times were growing up and the many memories that young people never let go of from the past. All part of that trip down memory lane. Other popular N2 Deep Songs they will perform are “High Sidin,” “Toss Up,” and “The Weekend.”

John Hinckley Jr. , the man who attempted to assassinate President Ronald Reagan in 1981 and became a singer-songwriter during his time in confinement, has postponed a scheduled concert at Hotel Huxley in Naugatuck.

The original scheduled date was March 30, which happens to be the 43rd anniversary of the day of the shooting.

Hinckley announced the postponement on his social media pages on Tuesday afternoon. News stories regarding the concert had been circulating for days and may have affected the postponement.

Hinckley’s previous attempt to perform in Connecticut was in April 2022 at the Space Ballroom in Hamden, just a few miles away from where he spent time in 1980 stalking Jodie Foster at Yale University. It was Hinckley’s obsession with Foster that led to his assassination attempt on President Reagan. A police officer, a Secret Service agent and White House press secretary James Brady were wounded during the incident.

John Hinckley’s ‘Redemption Tour’ at Space Ballroom canceled

After the Hamden concert made the news and some people voiced their concerns on social media, the Space Ballroom show was abruptly canceled . Performances were canceled in other cities as well, though some went on.

Hotel Huxley is a new music venue on Old Firehouse Road in Naugatuck. It held a grand opening event earlier this month and has mainly been presenting local metal and punk bands. Hinckley’s music is more conventional solo acoustic singer/songwriter material. Videos of him performing his songs, which include “We Have Got That Chemistry” and “Hope for the Future,” can be found online. He released his first album last year. Besides his original songs, Hinckley performs covers of songs by artists such as Bob Dylan and Elvis Presley.

Tyla Cancels World Tour Amid Worsening Injury: ‘I’ve Been Silently Suffering’

By Kory Grow

An injury has forced Tyla to cancel her upcoming world tour, which was set to kick off in Oslo on March 21. “Words cannot describe my frustration of this pivotal point in my career,” she wrote to her fans on Instagram. North American ticketholders will be automatically refunded; the ticket vendors will contact international ticketholders.

“For the past year I’ve been silently suffering with an injury that has tragically worsened,” she wrote in a message to her fans. “I’ve seen doctors and specialists with high hopes, but the pain has only become more agonizing as has the severity of the situation.” She did not specify the injury.

“I am absolutely heartbroken to have to say this but as of right now I won’t be able to proceed with the tour,” she wrote. “In consulting with medical professionals it’s become increasingly clear that continuing any festival or tour dates would jeopardize my long-term health and safety.”

The South African–born singer broke through in the United States last year with “Water,” a Number Seven hit from her upcoming album, Tyla . She explained the song’s origins for Rolling Stone’s “The Breakdown” series. “With ‘Water,’ I just wanted a summer song that everybody could vibe to and have fun too,” she said. “The meaning of the song is frisky: It’s me letting a guy know, ‘Show me what you got to offer. I’m done with all the talk.’ Men will just talk and talk and talk.”

Her album is set to come out on March 22.

Recent tour reviews

Monday 30th July, Jazz Cafe, London, St Paul and the Broken Bones. Thankfully after my last visit here for Anderson East where the temperature was somewhere between Saharan and the surface of the sun, the aircon has been fixed, sort of. Its couples tonight with me and the missus where we are joined by the recently renamed ‘Monster Energy Drink’ Andy and his good lady, Helen.

I have reviewed the ‘bones’ many times on this site since we first saw them supporting Isbell in 2014 and this will be my sixth show in those four years. They are always great, it’s as simple as yet and their shows and them as a band have matured over those years into a slick soulful attack on the senses.

We were not going to pass up an opportunity to see them in a small venue like the Jazz Café as they are more used now to playing larger venues such as the Roundhouse later this year. On to the show. After requests for Paul Janeway’s vocals to be turned up the sound man got his act together after a couple of songs and from then on in it’s a tour de force of superior musicianship and Janeway’s remarkable voice. It’s not just the voice, he is the complete showman strutting round the stage, getting down and dirty for a boogie, chucking his sequinned shoes all over the shop and generally playing to the crowd reminiscent of Freddie Mercury in his pomp.

With a new album out soon the band showcased a couple of new songs which fitted in perfectly to the set. There’s obviously room for old favourites like ‘Call Me’ and ‘Broken bones and pocket change’ plus new to me ‘Convex’ which I loved.

Another great show from this band who continue to grow musically. If you get the change its live where you have to appreciate them best. Can’t wait for the next time.

Keep on southern soul rockin y’all

Have loved there music since day one. After seeing them on CBS Saturday I was hooked. The music is amazing. Janeway's voice will make you roll your eyes in disbelief. The concert was amazing! The horn section made the hair on my arms stand up straight, the guitar players were perfect, keyboards as well, and the drummer....after the concert I realized I had paid little attention to but in retrospect...did exactly what Janeway said when he introduced the band members....kept them all in time. When the crowd brought them back for an encore they played four more songs!! I've never seen anyone other than Bruce Springsteen do that! Wow! The only disappointment for me was that they didn't play "Like a Mighty River". I'm over that though, I would tell everyone I know to jump at the chance to see them!!

Another great show by St. Paul & The Broken Bones, this time at Lawn on D in Boston's Seaport District. Lawn on D is a open air park with an ad hoc stage that was lit up by St. Paul & The Broken Bones. I have seen this band five times in the past 3 years starting with a monumental show at the Paradise in 2014. This show had all the passion of past shows with a great set list of both old and great new material. The highlights were a burning rendition of "All Torn Up" early in the set, a great take on Van Morrison's "Workin" with the Broken Bones sounding smokin' hot. The crowd was delirious during "Call Me" and the finale of "Burning Rome" was near epic. Everyone should see this band perform.

Renee Rapp Postpones Concerts, Says Her Voice Is ‘Gone'

Reneé Rapp has postponed two concerts in the United Kingdom after losing her voice.

Rapp , 24, has been performing on her Snow Hard Feelings Tour since September 2023, and following her show on Monday, March 4, in Dublin, Ireland, she canceled her remaining shows for this week.

"Guys I'm sure you could tell but my voice was gone after last night's show," the Mean Girls star wrote on X on Tuesday, March 5. "I've been sick for the majority of the European leg of this tour, and without any recovery time I can't seem to shake it. I'm being told that I need to rest my voice and not sing through for risk of long term injury. I want to keep delivering high quality shows [for] you."

Rapp was scheduled to perform back-to-back concerts at the Vinilo Record Store in Southampton, England on Thursday, March 7.

How the 'Mean Girls' Musical Film Cast Compares to OG Movie Counterparts

In her message, Rapp said she was "really sorry to do this," and plans to reschedule the shows when she returns to the UK in August for the Leeds Festival on August 23 and Reading Festival on August 25. "We'll have the new rescheduled date to share with you before the weekend," she wrote.

"This tour is everything to me but holy s–t am I burnt," Rapp continued. "I have to prioritize my health in this moment. love you and appreciate your understanding endlessly."

Rapp kicked off the European leg of the tour in February in Paris, followed by shows in Germany, Netherlands, and Belgium before traveling to the U.K.

Everything the 'Mean Girls' Cast Has Said About a Sequel to the 2004 Movie

She will now have over a month to recover from her undisclosed illness before her tour resumes at Coachella in Indio, California on April 14 and 21. She will continue on the festival circuit with the Hangout Festival May 17 to 19 in Gulf Shores, Alabama, Boston Calling on May 24, The Governors Ball on June 9 in New York City, and the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival on June 15 in Manchester, Tennessee.

Rapp released her debut solo album, Snow Angel, in August 2023, and she's also featured on the Mean Girls soundtrack, which dropped in January. She collaborated with Megan Thee Stallion for the soundtrack's first single, "Not My Fault," and sings several tracks in character as Regina George.

Rapp starred in the first two seasons of The Sex Lives of College Girls . She announced her full-time exit from the series in July 2023, though she will appear as a guest star in the upcoming third season.
