Taylor Swift performs during the Eras Tour

Ticket prices for Taylor Swift's UK Eras tour have been widely shared online.

The singer confirmed last month that she would be bringing her critically acclaimed Eras tour to Liverpool, London, Edinburgh and Cardiff in 2024. Taylor then announced additional dates on July 5 due to the high demand seen through registration.

General sale will start on July 17, but presale began today, Monday July 10, and is split over three days with each date having its own allotted time. If you pre-ordered Taylor's latest album Midnights from her official store, you should have received a presale code by email between Thursday, July 6 and Friday, July 7.

The presale has already seen huge online queues with thousands of fans desperate to get their hands on Eras tour tickets. Many people reported being "kicked off" the Ticketmaster site as they were about to pay, forcing Ticketmaster to issue some important advice.

However, people can only purchase up to four tickets per unique code. For Wembley Stadium, the prices being shared on social media were:

  • Seated ticket from £58.65 to £194.75 each
  • General admission standing priced at £110.40 each
  • Standing left and right ticket were pried at £172.25 each

Taylor Swift's reign continues as she ramps up for the next leg of The Eras Tour. The singer-songwriter will kick off the European portion of her world tour in Paris in May, which will continue throughout the summer. From there, she'll return to North America to tour Canada and a few remaining US cities in the fall. If you're hoping to attend, we've compiled all of the details of The Eras Tour, including how to get Taylor Swift tour tickets.

Swift's Eras Tour has taken the world by storm since March 2023. The three-plus-hour tour features hits from each of Swift's album eras, from "Lover" to her recent Grammy Award-winning "Midnights." Each show also features surprise songs and occasional guests, so fans never quite know what they're in for. Swift will release her latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department," in April, but it's unknown if any of those songs will make their way to the tour setlist.

Getting tickets has become its own battle and many fans have waited hours in the Ticketmaster queue to hopefully snag some seats, if they could get a presale ticket code in the first place. While Swift continues to extend the tour, including new US dates, tickets remain hard to come by.

Below, we've put together a guide on everything to know about The Eras Tour, including the tour schedule, ticket purchasing details, resale ticket prices, and the concert film streaming options . You can also peruse resale vendors like StubHub and Vivid Seats at your leisure.

Taylor Swift international tour dates

The Eras Tour international dates resume on May 9 in Paris. The European tour will run until August 20 in London. UK prices are listed in pounds, and start times vary from city to city. US dates start in October and can be found under the following table.

Taylor Swift North American tour dates

The Eras tour will return to the US on October 18 in Miami. In addition to the Miami shows, Swift will perform multiple dates in New Orleans and Indianapolis. On November 14, Swift will head to Canada for several shows in Toronto and Vancouver. All North American shows start at 7 p.m. local time.

How to buy tickets for Taylor Swift's 2024 tour

Original standard tickets for Taylor Swift's 2024 sold out long ago for both international and domestic dates. All US tickets and many international tickets were sold through Ticketmaster , although select international locations used different services.

Tickets for most dates are available on resale websites like StubHub and Vivid Seats . These are generally higher-priced than the originals, which are no longer available. Keep in mind that some countries have rules regarding reselling tickets.

How much are Taylor Swift tickets?

Ticket prices vary by date and location. International resale tickets tend to be a bit cheaper than US resale tickets. It's worth noting that some of the cheapest tickets have restricted views.

StubHub's cheapest European tickets range from $392 (Madrid, Spain, on May 29) to £978 (London, United Kingdom, on June 22). The latter is around $1,248 in USD. The lowest prices for most shows are around $450 to $1,000. On Vivid Seats , the cheapest tickets for these dates go for $549 and $683, respectively.

When it comes to North American shows, the cheapest StubHub tickets range from $1,045 (Vancouver, Canada, on December 8) to $2,081 (Miami, Florida, on October 19). Most of the cheapest tickets are priced between $1,200 and $1,800. On Vivid Seats, the cheapest Taylor Swift tickets on these dates start at $1,133 and $2,212, respectively. The two resale vendors generally have similarly priced offerings, but this varies from show to show.

Who is opening for Taylor Swift's tour?

Taylor Swift has a variety of opening acts, from up-and-coming singers to established groups. Opening acts vary by date. For the European leg of the tour, Paramore will open for Swift. In the US and Canada, Gracie Abrams will be the opening act.

Will Taylor Swift add more dates to the Eras Tour?

Taylor Swift already added additional stops to her tour due to popular demand, including her US tour dates this fall. She also added additional dates to some of her European city stops, including bonus performances in France and the United Kingdom, among other locations. It's unknown whether Swift will end up adding even more tour dates, but by the end of the upcoming US leg she will have been touring for almost two years, so fans shouldn't be surprised if she takes a break.

Tickets have gone on sale, I registered and never received my access code?

Registering does not guarantee you will receive an access code nor that you will have the ability to purchase tickets. Please note, we expect there will be more demand than there are tickets available. Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis while currently available inventory lasts.

Why didn’t my access code work?

You may have maxed out your ticket limit. Due to demand, all events have a ticket limit to allow more fans like you to get tickets.

Can I enter multiple codes?

No. Only one code can be processed during each transaction. Separate transactions will be required for each access code held.

What happens if I’m on the waiting list?

If you move off the waiting list, you will receive an email containing your access code details and where to access the relevant on-sale. Keep in mind, your notification may come at any time after ticket sales begin as per the schedule above. When notified, your email will include:

  • A link to the on-sale
  • Your unique access code
  • Please also watch your email – if there are SMS delivery issues, such as an incorrectly entered mobile number or network issues, we will email your access code details.
  • Purchasers are held to a ticket limit of 4 (four).
  • Please note, getting off the waitlist does not guarantee access to tickets. Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis while currently available inventory lasts.

Fraught with anticipation, fans of Taylor Swift - aka Swifties - eagerly took to Ticketmaster and AXS on both yesterday and today to secure tickets to see their idol at various selected venues, with many fans being left disappointed as tickets sold out in super fast time.

Today, fans who were lucky enough to receive a registration code were able to take part in general sales for selected dates, with sale launches starting at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Ticket sales were staggered across the day to ensure that more Taylor fans are were with a chance of getting the tickets they crave.

The first batch of tickets went live at 11am for the June 22 show at Wembley Arena and the June, 14 show at Liverpool's Anfield. At 1pm tickets went go on sale for the August 16 show at Wembley and the June 14 show at Anfield. Then, at 3pm fans were able to purchase tickets for the June 15 date at Anfield.

Fans were reminded to make sure that they have received an email from either Ticketmaster or AXS containing their unique access code to be able to gain entry to the queue for tickets, as they would not have been able to enter the queue or buy tickets without one.

Those who did not receive an access code may still receive an email advising them that they are on a waitlist and should keep their eye peeled for further instructions once the general sale has ended.

Sounds complicated? We were on hand every step of the way to give you the best chance of bagging those Taylor tickets.

Taylor Swift sells out London and Liverpool

Well, what a day that was!

All tickets for both venues are reportedly now sold out, as fans battled more bot scares, slow queues and higher-than-expected ticket prices.

Will that pesky "lead booker" rule on Ticketmaster become a problem? We've reached out to Ticketmaster, and await a response.

In the meantime, you can read more about it here .

In the meantime, we'll be back again in the morning as we prepare for the final day of the general sale for tickets for London, Cardiff and Edinburgh

Liverpool, Anfield now sold out!

As we have come to expect with these ticket launches, venues don't take long to sell out.

This afternoon saw the ticket allocation at Anfield sell out super quickly, with fans disappointed by the lack of "affordable" ticket prices.

Did you get the ticket you wanted?

Only VIP tickets are left at Anfield

30 minutes after the sale started and many fans have taken to social media to report that there are only VIP packages left at Anfield.

Costing as much as £661 a pop, many of these "VIP" packages are seated very high up to the right and left-hand side of the stage, meaning they may not give you the VIP experience you would be hoping for.

Some fans have thoughts on this matter....

More than 6,000 fans currently in the queue on Ticketmaster

Fans are sharing their queue positions on Twitter.

According to @georgin81545164, there are almost 6,500 people head at the moment and the Twitter user is concerned that tickets will sell out before they reach the end of the queue.

We have seen much bigger queues to be fair - stay strong!

3pm ticket for Liverpool, Anfield sale now live!

This is your last chance to get tickets for the June, 15 date!

Good luck Swifties!

10 minutes to go

The final ticket launch of the day starts at 3pm.

Fans who received a unique code by email will be able to purchase tickets for:

  • June, 15 - Liverpool, Anfield only

Are you ready?

Don't forget these top tips:

  • Make sure you are logged into your Ticketmaster or AXS account well in advance
  • Only use one browser as logging in multiple times could hinder your progress
  • Make sure your payments details are close at hand so you can whizz through the checkout
  • Leave your browser open until the order is confirmed

Important Information for ticket holders - you will need to arrive together

Fans are being issued with a stark warning that failing to arrive with the "lead booker" - the person who purchased the tickets on your behalf - could see ticketholders turned away at the door.

A fan account for UK & Ireland Eras Tours on Twitter shared a screenshot confirming that all UK dates are "lead booker events" and as such, tickets are non-transferable.

What does this mean for lucky ticket holders?

According to Ticketmaster , the lead booker will need to be available and at any point be able to provide information including:

  • The physical event ticket (if paper tickets have been issued for the event).
  • The booking confirmation.
  • A valid photo ID matching the customer name on the booking confirmation and the credit card.

Ticketmaster said on their site: “When arriving in groups, the lead booker must be present in order for the whole party to enter the venue. All members of the party should enter the venue at the same time. Each ticket holder must be in possession of their ticket on their smart device."

It even goes as far as to say that people should not purchase tickets as gifts if they are not going to be at the event with the lucky recipient.

What do you guys think? This could make things difficult for some fans who have already paid for their tickets.

VIP only left for the 1pm sale now

HI - Laura here! I'll be taking over for the blog for the afternoon.

I would love to hear how you have found the general sales today - did you get the tickets you wanted?

Seems like there are only VIP packages left now ahead of the 3pm sale - but I'll keep you posted if I hear different.

'The cheapest was £273 VIP tickets for Liverpool'

My sister is one of many dissapointed fans who didn't get tickets for Liverpool today.

This is the text I just got from her.... a bit out of her budget.

Taylor Swift fans call for Glastonbury style ticketing system

Frustrated Swifties took to social media to share their disappointment with the complicated pre-registration ticketing system which left many genuine fans empty-handed.

With strict rules applied to sales on both Ticketmaster and AXS , fans were hoping for a smooth ride but were instead confronted with slow-moving queues and website issues.

@TicketmasterUK this is truly the most messed up way of getting tickets for Taylor Swift whoever thought this idea was a good idea!? Your thoughts behind it was to avoid the touts and yet they’re selling tickets and their code for thousands DO BETTER NEXT TIME — S A R A H ☽ (@hellosarahoxo) July 18, 2023

Our ticket guru Laura Udall has looked into the extortionate resale prices. You can read the full story here: Taylor Swift fans call for Glastonbury-style ticketing system after general sales are plagued by touts

Fans report tickets are now sold out for both Anfield and Wembley

I'm seeing a lot of tweets from fans saying tickets are now sold out for BOTH shows.

We'll keep an eye on it and come back once we've verified. Until now, hold on tight!

Viagogo lists Anfield tickets for £767 in stadium section that's NOT for sale on Ticketmaster

It takes just one search on Twitter to see the hundreds of 'fans' reselling their Eras Tour tickets, at a huge profit too.

Now, third-party reseller site, Viagogo is listing tickets in section AL9 for £767 - in a section of Anfield Stadium which sits nearly directly behind the main stage.

We saw the same thing happen yesterday with the London and Edinburgh sale, where third-party sellers used Viagogo's platform to sell tickets for more than £2,000. You can read more about it here: Seating plan image shows Taylor Swift Wembley ticket go for whopping £2,950

After approaching Viagogo for comment, a spokesperson said: "The European leg of Taylor Swift’s Eras tour has been long anticipated. We’ve not seen anything like this since The Beatles and with tickets having only just gone on sale, demand is at its peak right now.

“Viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the freedom to buy and sell tickets to their favourite live events, safely and securely, backed by a guarantee. Sellers on our marketplace may list tickets at high values when demand is high, but prices can change and tend to reduce over time."

Liverpool fans will only be able to buy seated and VIP tickets

Ticketmaster has said there's no standing tickets on sale for the 1pm Liverpool show.

On the site it says: "Please note there are no General Admission Standing tickets available today".

LET'S GO SWIFTIES: 1pm tickets are now on sale

The time is here, tickets are LIVE!

Join the queue for the August 16 London Wembley show and the June 14 Liverpool Anfield show .

  • Don't panic
  • Never refresh your browser
  • If you get kicked out of queue WAIT - don't refresh
  • Be quick at the checkout - remember don't go for general standing in Liverpool these are NOT in the lunchtime sale today

The countdown is on! Eight minutes until the 1pm sale

If you're in the waiting room, using mobile data and only have one browser open you should (fingers crossed) fly through.

We're hoping this lunchtime sale goes a lot smoother than this morning's ticket crashing bonanza, good luck! Join the online ticket queue for the August 16 London Wembley show and the June 14 Liverpool Anfield show

Watch whilst you wait

Join the 1pm waiting room

The 'queue before the queue' is open again.

Only join if you're buying for these two shows:

  • London | Wembley Stadium | Friday, 16 August 2024
  • Liverpool | Anfield Stadium | Friday, 14 June 2024

Ticket buying tips from a huge Swiftie

I still remember dancing around my bedroom to 'Our Song' at nine years old, and playing 'Dear John' on full blast in the car on the way to school. That's certainly my favourite era of Taylor's music, purely down to the nostalgia.

As a huge fan these are my top ticket buying tips to make it to the front of the Eras Tour queue:

  • 'Take your pick' - choose where you want to be in the stadium before the sale starts
  • Always join the waiting room, but don't touch ANYTHING once joined
  • Use data over wifi - you're less likely to experience lags and crashes

Let's get ready for the next sale

The rush surrounding the first 11am sale is dying down now and hopefully that means you all have the tickets you wanted!

Now all eyes turn to the 1pm sale, and the waiting room opens all over again in 20 minutes time.

What shows are in the 1pm sale?

General Standing tickets now same 'Its a Love Story' VIP tickets

As we've seen some General Admission Standing tickets are selling for £275 each for Liverpool's Anfield Stadium show. The same price as some VIP package tickets.

'It's a Love Story' VIP tickets currently cost £276 each, as one fans Ticketmaster receipt shows below.

This grants VIPs to one reserved seat ticket, a special set of four Taylor Swift prints, exclusive Taylor Swift VIP merchandise; a bag, pin, sticker and postcard set, a souvenir concert ticket and a VIP tour laminate and matching lanyard.

Liverpool General Admission Standing at £275 each - a £135 price jump

This is why we don't like to say the prices until the sale has officially started, as prices rise.

General Admission Standing at Anfield now costs £275 each on AXS, as demand rises. In the pre-sale these cost around £140 each.

One fan has shared the price they paid for two General Admission Standing at Anfield came to £613.

Our top tip: Use data to buy tickets

If you can we'd suggest fans use data to buy tickets on AXS and Ticketmaster.

The queue issues from fans (being kicked out and bot issues) seemingly all have one thing in common; fans are on wifi. We can't say for definite that this is the case but to avoid potential issues we'd say data is more efficient.

Fans on wifi are being kicked out of AXS ticket queue

I've seen a lot of tweets from fans saying they're being kicked out of the queue.

One said: " @AXS_UK I got to the end of the queue to buy Taylor Swift tickets and it ridirected me to the website which has not been uploading for the last 10 minutes?"

This is what her screen looks like after waiting in the queue!

Fans say Wembley date has sold out

Fans are taking to Twitter to say the Wembley June 22 show is now sold out.

SO TAYLOR SWIFT WEMBLEY SOLD OUT IN 14 MINUTES I DID EVERYTHING RIGHT.... — Freya (@OrcinusOrcas98) July 18, 2023

We'll keep a close eye and be back with official word.

Update from fan kicked out of Ticketmaster for being 'a bot'

She's made it into the queue!

She told us: "When I disconnect from Wi-Fi on my phone, it seems to work fine. In the queue now!"

If you got a similar message, log onto your phone on the Ticketmaster app and use data instead, it seems to work.

Swifties are on it!

I was the first to get through the queue to buy Glastonbury tickets for my middle brother. Now my 'little' brother is in the Taylor Swift ticket queue for me. His comment on the speed at which the tickets are going: "I can see why you're called swifties." This is family. — Jess Morley (@jessRmorley) July 18, 2023

No queue numbers on AXS

If you're in the AXS queue and not seeing a position number, don't panic!

  • You can join the AXS ticket queue's here.

This was the same in yesterday's sale and seems to be the stance AXS are taking. This does mean fans won't be able to see how many people are ahead of them.

Our tip: Do not refresh the browser, wait it out!

Devastated fan kicked out of Ticketmaster for being a 'bot'

It didn't take long for the first issues to start, just five mintues into the sale.

One fan has shared she's been kicked out of Ticketmaster because they think she's a bot, despite her registering for the sale.

Tickets are LIVE

IT'S TIME! The first sale of the day is now live.

The waiting rooms have closed and all fans should now be in the main ticket queue.

Tickets are now on sale for the London Wembley Stadium show on June 22 and Liverpool Anfield Stadium show on June 13

If you registered for either of these two dates and are not in the queue, RUN!

Taylor Swift ticket prices for UK Eras Tour as fans wait for access codes

Actually pleasantly surprised by these prices.

Daisy Jackson

We finally know how much Taylor Swift tickets will cost when the star brings her Eras Tour to the UK.

Demand for the stadium shows is expected to be extremely high, with a complicated system introduced by Ticketmaster to manage the on-sale.

And while fans impatiently wait to see if they’ll even have the chance to try and buy tickets (access codes for UK fans should arrive by Friday), we can all at least start budgeting for Taylor Swift tickets.

That’s because an album pre-sale took place earlier this week for those who were organised enough to pre-order her latest album, Midnights.

And through that, we can see what the star is charging for her UK dates.

General ticket prices are set to range between £58.65 and £194.75, which might sound expensive until you remember Madonna and her tickets that STARTED at £143.85.

There are VIP packages too, priced all the way up to £662.50, starting from £196.60.

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is on track to be the biggest and most profitable tour in history, and has been setting social media alight since she launched it in north America this year.

Taylor Swift performing at the Eras tour in the USA ahead of the UK leg

Fans back here in Europe have been waiting with baited breath for tour dates here, which were finally announced last month.

While she’ll be skipping Manchester on this occasion, you can bet the Swifties will be willing to travel to her other shows in Liverpool, London, Edinburgh and Cardiff.

The Eras Tour tickets on-sale in the USA was branded a disaster, with websites crashing, prices fluctuating, and people stuck in queues for hours and hours.

So there’ll be strict systems in place here in the UK.

Here’s what you need to know.

The AO Arena has pretty much all but confirmed an upcoming Twenty One Pilots gig here in Manchester after teasing the band’s highly-anticipated return with a single silhouetted poster.

Yes, literally just one medium-sized poster and we’re already losing it. Well done, AO .

With the American alternative and electro-pop duo having recently confirmed the release date for their seventh studio LP, Clancy , their die-hard fan base is once again ramping up the excitement for a new album cycle.

It’s their first new music since 2021 and is set to drop on 17 May but better still, it looks like they’re already earmarking a few big gigs around the launch, as this poster appearing outside the entrance to Manchester’s AO Arena on Tuesday, 26 March.

pic.twitter.com/g8vxCENIGT — AO Arena (@AOArena) March 26, 2024

While the poster might look a little puzzling at first glance – just two solid black figures on a red background with some yellow writing too small to read from a distance – the poster is part of the wider imagery surrounding their new record.

As seen above, the main album artwork for Clancy has already been revealed and features a similarly obscured pose from frontman Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun, but the group began releasing other promotional visuals earlier this month.

In fact, AO Arena are by no means the only ones getting involved in the teaser campaign which many are increasingly confident is a big tour in support of new album and now thought to be fast approaching.

As it turns out, a whole host of massive music venues all over the globe have been plastering the big poster on their walls.

  • Melanie Martinez, singer who performs in alien-like mask, to play huge gig in Manchester
  • Northern Music Awards 2024 announces full shortlist – with huge honour for Tim Burgess
  • Meg Thee Stallion announces massive Manchester gig on Hot Girl Summer Tour

Again, we’ve had nothing confirmed as yet but we’d be daft not to assume Twenty One Pilots will be touring the latest album when it lands and will no doubt be coming back to Manchester when they do so.

Regarding the new material, the lead single ‘Overcompensate’, has already arrived (great track, by the way) and the follow up called ‘Next Semester’ is expected to be released later this week as well .

As for performing live, the band haven’t been in Manchester since the ‘The Bandito Tour’ back in 2019, so let’s just say the scramble for grabbing these tickets, still hypothetical mind, is likely to leave us Stressed Out.

Pop phenomenon Melanie Martinez has just announced arena gig here in Manchester as part of her The Trilogy Tour.

The singer is currently performing as her alter-ego ‘Cry Baby’, which involves her wearing an other-worldly mask that transforms her into a cat-like creature with four eyes and gigantic ears.

The pink fantastical character will be visiting Dublin, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff and London on the UK and Ireland leg of the tour.

Melanie Martinez will be performing at the huge new Co-op Live Arena in Manchester in September this year.

Fans can expect to hear hits from all three of her groundbreaking multi-platinum albums – Cry Baby, K-12, and Portals.

The 28-year-old singer, who first found fame on The Voice , has amassed a whopping 14 billion streams across the globe, including her TikTok viral song Play Date.

She recently wrapped up the PORTALS Tour, named after her third studio album, which received widespread critical acclaim.

It landed at the top of the albums charts in several countries, peaking at number two in the UK albums chart.

The hit singles from the album include Void and Death, the latter of which is joined by a cinematic companion video that was directed, conceived and costume-designed by Martinez herself.

Melanie Martinez has become an online sensation with her Cry Baby universe.

Billboard said: “The avant-garde pop auteur creates bold, expansive worlds with each project…While the dramatic five-minute track can be connected to her artistic reawakening, the kinetic drums and electronic elements will also make listeners feel reborn, too.”

She’s even partnered with Flower Shop Perfumes Co. to launch a new four-fragrance collection, Portals Parfums, which arrive in a one-foot-tall bottle in the shape of her multi-eyed Cry Baby head.

Melanie Martinez will be performing at the Co-op Live in Manchester on 21 September.

General release tickets will go on sale on Thursday 28 March, with artist pre-sales from Monday 25 March.

The presale has now taken place for Taylor Swift's UK Eras Tour. Fans will get another chance to buy tickets for the popstar's London, Liverpool, Edinburgh and Cardiff shows when general sale opens on Monday, July 17.

As with the presale, which offered Swifties a first look at the ticket prices for her UK shows, the general sale will be staggered over three days. Seating plans for each of the four stadiums have also now been released, meaning fans can get a clearer idea what the different ticketing options mean and what their view will be of the stage.

As Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Hits One Year, Let’s Take a Look at Its Staggering Numbers

O n March 17, it will officially have been one year since Taylor Swift's Eras Tour kicked off in Glendale, Ariz. In the 12 months since that fateful first show, Swift has broken untold records , made history as TIME's 2023 Person of the Year , cultivated a new legion of NFL fans , and announced her forthcoming 11th studio album— The Tortured Poets Department , out April 19—among a litany of other accomplishments.

By the end of 2023—less than halfway through its scheduled 152-show run—the Eras Tour had earned over $1 billion to become the highest-grossing concert tour of all time. During that period, every city where Swift played got a substantial economic boost from the so-called "Taylor Swift effect," a term that refers to the singer's unprecedented ability to influence consumer behavior. Following the inaugural U.S. leg of Eras, the U.S. Travel Association estimated that the tour's total economic impact likely exceeded $10 billion.

In the new year, Swift's staggering popularity seems to somehow still be on the rise. Less than a week after watching her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, win the Super Bowl, Swift played to the biggest concert crowd of her career while performing at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in Australia during the first run of 2024 Eras dates, following four shows in Tokyo.

In honor of the first anniversary of the start of the Eras Tour, we're taking a numerical look back at the biggest year of Swift's career to date.

Read More: 2023 Person of the Year: Taylor Swift

Number of Eras shows and cities

Swift will have played 83 shows across 30 cities as of March 17. Of those shows, 53 took place in the U.S. in 20 different cities stateside. The remaining 30 were part of the Latin America and Asia-Pacific legs of the tour. By the end of 2024, Swift is set to play a grand total of 152 Eras shows across 54 cities worldwide.

Number of surprise songs

In addition to her 40-plus-song set list, Swift has played at least two "surprise songs" per Eras show. Taking repeats into account, she has performed 145 different tracks (counting mashups of repeat songs as unique entries) as her 167 surprise offerings.

Number of special guests

From MUNA to Sabrina Carpenter to Haim, Swift's Eras stops have featured 10 different opening acts. She has also brought out eight other special guests, from Maren Morris to frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff, to join her on stage at various shows.

Number of people in attendance at her biggest show to date

Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour - Melbourne, Australia

Swift played three back-to-back shows at MCG on Feb. 16, 17, and 18 that were each attended by a record 96,000 people for a three-day total of 288,000 concertgoers. Ed Sheeran, who drew a crowd of around 109,500 each of the two nights he played at MCG in 2023, still holds the venue's single-night attendance record. But that's largely due to the fact that Swift's stage setup took up more room in the arena, cutting down on the number of available seats.

Number of Eras tickets sold

Swift sold an estimated 4.35 million tickets across 60 tour dates within concert trade publication Pollstar's chart year of Nov. 17, 2022 to Nov. 15, 2023. That's an average of 72,500 tickets per show, with each ticket costing an average of $238.95. Using those numbers to extrapolate across shows played since then, Swift has likely now sold around 6.02 million tickets.

Total Eras Tour gross

Based on the approximately $17.32 million in ticket revenue Pollstar estimates Swift earned for each of the first 60 Eras dates, her total tour gross currently sits somewhere around $1.44 billion. By the end of 2024, the tour is expected to have brought in an astronomical $2.165 billion. For comparison, the second-highest grossing tour of all time, Elton John’s multi-year Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, sold six million tickets over the course of 328 shows to earn $939 million.

Total Eras merch revenue

Taylor Swift Fans Descend On Melbourne Cricket Ground

According to reports from different venues, Pollstar estimates Eras attendees were spending an average of $40 per person on merch at the first 60 Eras shows. That puts Swift's tour merch revenue at an estimated $240.8 million—not including non-concert day purchases—following her first run of 2024 Eras dates.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour box-office earnings

Since its Oct. 13 release in theaters, Swift's record-breaking three-and-a-half-hour concert film has grossed $180,756,269 in North America and $261,656,269 globally at the box office. An extended edition of the movie became available to rent via video on demand services on Swift's birthday, Dec. 13, followed by the longest and most complete version of the film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) , arriving on streaming on Disney+ March 14.

Number of new songs

Since the Eras Tour began, Swift has released two re-recorded albums, Speak Now (Taylor's Version) and 1989 (Taylor's Version) , and one new single, "You're Losing Me (From the Vault)," for a total of 45 new songs (including re-recorded songs and vault tracks). In their first week of sales, Speak Now (Taylor's Version) , which featured one Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hit, and 1989 (Taylor's Version) , which featured seven Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hits, sold 716,000 equivalent album units and 1.653 million equivalent album units, respectively. "You're Losing Me (From the Vault)" tallied 8.7 million official streams and sold 19,000 downloads in the U.S. in the first two days after its Nov. 29 debut, according to Luminate .

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour sets a new Disney Plus record but its popularity is nothing compared to Netflix

I t's not exactly a huge surprise, but Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour has become the most watched music film in Disney Plus ' history, with 4.6 million views in the first three days alone. Over its opening weekend, Disney says that Swifties (and a fair few hate watchers, we imagine) watched 16.2 million hours of the epic concert show.

According to Variety , Disney Plus paid "more than $75 million" for the streaming rights, adding to the $261.7 million theatrical revenues that have already made The Eras Tour the highest-grossing concert film to date.

If you haven't seen the streaming version because you've already been to the movies for it, it's worth tuning in (even if we don't rate among the best Disney Plus movies ). There are more songs in the streaming version than in the theatrical release or the digital release, which added Wildest Dreams, The Archer and Long Live ; the Disney Plus version also has Cardigan, Death by a Thousand Cuts, Maroon, You Are in Love and I Can See You.

The numbers are incredible for a concert movie (check out these three great concert movies if you're looking for a new one to watch) but as Kasey Moore of What's on Netflix points out, they're not big enough to top the global streaming numbers. It looks like that's one chart that even Taylor can't top.

Taylor Swift vs Netflix: who's winning the streaming wars?

Posting on X/Twitter , Moore pointed out that while Taylor's viewing numbers are impressive, other titles are still getting more views: "For comparison in its first three days last week Damsel had 35.3 million views," Moore explained. "In fact, last week [ The Eras Tour ] would've sat fifth on the top 10 list alongside the Equalizer 3 ."

So how does a concert movie considered by many (hello!) as one of the best ever made and with 99% on the Tomatometer get trounced in the streaming stakes by a mediocre movie we said was "a dud" and which has a comparatively woeful 56% from the critics on Rotten Tomatoes?

The explanation is pretty simple. First of all, movies have wider appeal than concert movies. And secondly, Netflix has a lot more eyeballs than Disney Plus. According to Neilsen's 2024 figures, Disney Plus' viewing share among smart TVs and TV connected devices is 1.9% compared to Netflix's 7.8%. That's a lot of TVs and a lot of viewers.

In other words, comparing Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour with Damsel is interesting but pretty much pointless: they're different things, made for different audiences, on different services, and I suspect the viewing numbers for Taylor will continue to climb because the show has re-watchability that the movie lacks. In other words – oh yes – I think for Disney Plus the viewing figures are, and will continue to be, beyond their Wildest Dreams.
