It’s still ‘pumpkin spice season’ for hilarities-bound andy woodhull, a fan of seasonal flavor — and cleveland tees — comic has earned tons of youtube views.

A nobody of comedy still (more on that later), nationally touring comedian Andy Woodhull loves Cleveland.

“I’m a Midwestern guy who grew up in Indiana and lived in Chicago for a long time, so I’ve done many shows at Hilarities (4th Street Theatre),” said Woodhull, calling from Santa Monica. “I seem to get a Cleveland T-shirt every time I visit. I’m not from there, but I own I think Cleveland shirts because of (CLE Clothing Company).

“The strange thing about wearing a Cleveland shirt when you’re not from Cleveland is how many people ask you if you’re from Cleveland. Then you have to explain, I’m not from Cleveland, but I liked this shirt. They’re laughing about why I would buy a shirt. But they don’t understand — they’re very soft and have cool designs on them.”

Another Rock Hall City T-shirt purchase may be coming, as the comic returns for shows Dec. 8 to 10 at Hilarities .

After making his network television debut in 2014 on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” the funnyman has appeared on “The Late Late Show With James Corden,” “Conan,” “Live at Gotham” and “The Half Hour on Comedy Central.”

While all five of Woodhull’s comedy albums are in rotation on SiriusXM, and his jokes have played more than 37 million times on Pandora, it’s his “Dry Bar” comedy special — with more than 10 million views on YouTube — that’s garnered the most attention.

“It’s weird to have that many views,” Woodhull said. “People think I must be rich, but I’m not even close. But what those views did was a lot of people got a chance to see my comedy, find me and then see me on the road, which has been pretty great.”

The comic’s most recent special is “Pumpkin Spice Season,” which also can be viewed on YouTube. As for its title, Woodhull said he’s a big fan of the festive flavor.

“It used to be a fun seasonal flavor you’d get here and there, but now it drops in August,” Woodhull said. “It starts showing up in grocery stores, and it’s infiltrated every product. I don’t get Cheerios all year long, and then the Pumpkin Spice Cheerios come out and I’ll get them.

“I’ve tried pumpkin spice everything. I’ve even had Pumpkin Spice Spam. Even that I thought was pretty good.”

Regarding his upcoming set, Woodhull has a few pumpkin spice jokes as well as commentary on post-pandemic life.

The comedian has come a long way over the last 20 years, including just over a decade ago appearing on the “Nobodies of Comedy Tour,” which played rural theaters in Northern Ohio.

After mentioning the tour, Woodhull is asked whether or not he’s still a nobody of comedy?

“I don’t know if it’s good for the article, but yes,” Woodhull laughed. “I mean, I’m not really a nobody. I’ve been on ‘The Tonight Show,’ ‘Conan’ and (James) Corden (‘The Late Late Show’). I did a Comedy Central half hour. I had like 50 million plays on my Pandora station.

“Some people do know who I am, but the majority don’t, which I think still qualifies me as a nobody even though I’ve been around for a long time.”

Riding the Metro with Lena was a real adventure and a lot of fun. In Saint Petersburg we found Anna well versed in the history of the Tsars and in the Hermitage collection. Arkady in Veliky Novgorod was a very good guide and answered all of our questions with ease. Novgorod was perhaps a long way to go for a day trip, but we did enjoy it. Vasily was a great driver to have and kept us safe with good humour and skill. We enjoyed ourselves so much, my daughter says she is already planning to return. We would both have no hesistation to recommend ExpresstoRussia to anyone we know.

Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried).
