If I could give negative stars, I would give KKKL negative stars. The bus driver left us at the Singapore/Malaysia border. There were six people in our party and only 15 or so passengers on the bus. As you can imagine, you would notice if 6 out of 15 passengers were missing. When my family and I left the immigration hall at Singapore, we searched for the bus for 20 minutes. We asked all the staff members at the immigration hall, and they said that the bus left. As a result, we were stranded at the border and ended up having to pay a lot of money to get to our final destination. Save yourself the headache, frustration,and money. Book with another company--even if the tickets are more expensive. It'll be cheaper than having to pay for the additional bus/MRT/taxi when you get stranded. Wifi doesn't work and the bus drivers are rude, but this will be the least of your worries. DON'T DO IT.

I booked a week trip to Singapore to visit my ex-roommate and while I was there she booked us a weekend trip on KKKL Travel & Tours to Malacca. The bus seats were very spacious and I was surprised by how far back they reclined. There were curtains you could pin open or keep close depending on if you wanted to sleep or enjoy the scenery. The bus on the way there said there was wifi but there was not which was a little disappointing. And the bus driver on the way back took a pit stop for a smoke break which we weren't thrilled about but some people had to go to the bathroom so they were excited for the unscheduled stop. But other than that it was smooth sailing.

I had booked from Melaka to Singapore on KKKL. The bus was alright. Counter service was okay. The immigration before we left Malaysia was very crowded since we were travelling on a public holiday. The queue we stood took a long time and when I came out to the bus stand, the bus had already left without even informing us and with no considereation that I was travelling with a small kid. When we checked with another KKKL driver, he said that our bus is yet to arrive and we wasted another hour having listened to that driver. It was only when we called KKKL office, we were infomed that the bus would have left. They did not even bother to call up the driver and check and we were not provided the drivers no. The person who answered the phone was very very rude as well. Overall, we had one of our worst travels with KKKL and would never ever take this service again. I had taken Luxury coach from SG to Melaka and that was so much better. Was definitely worth paying the addtional money.

I had a very bad experience with this KKKL tours SG to KL bus service. On the way back from KL, at the Singapore immigration they won't wait for more than 20 minutes apparently. When there is a line in the immigration counter, the check-out time is not within the control of the passengers. If they are unable to stay more than 20mins, they should have made other arrangements to take the passengers to the agreed drop-off point or at least they should have the courtesy to inform this to the passengers. So we don't have to waste our time searching for the bus. The agreed drop-off point was their office location at Katong V. But these people don't take any responsibility of their passengers safety whatsoever. They just disappear at the immigration check point without any notice and we, the passengers have to pay for another coach from there. This was highly inconvenient and very disappointing. Apart from this, I also booked their KL special "City Tour". But the guide didn't stick to the posted list of places on their website under that tour package and didn't even take us to the city and twin towers. The tour finished in less than 2.5hrs even though the website tells a 4hr tour. We had to pay for another taxi on the next day to visit the city. These people are only nice to you, til they get the money from you and after that just provide with a crappy service. I will not recommend neither KKKL coaches nor the KKKL tour packages to anyone.

KKKL Travel & Tours from Singapore Tanjong Katong Complex (near Paya Lebar MRT) to Kuala Lumpur Berjaya Times Square by Bus • Around the Malay Peninsular with JOM NAIK KERETAPI

On 25 February 2016, JOM NAIK KERETAPI embarked on a trip around the Malay Peninsular from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Hat Yai, Thailand with the northbound journey via Sungai Golok on the eastern side of the Malay Peninsular, and the southbound journey via Padang Besar, on the western side of the Malay Peninsular.

I began my trip with a bus ride up to Kuala Lumpur to meet up with the group. I would have taken the train, but I took an earlier trip as I had some errands to run in KL before the trip began.

KKKL Travel & Tours is the Singapore-based counterpart of KKKL Express Sdn Bhd in Malaysia. They provide bus trips focusing on the eastern and north-eastern part of Singapore with convenient departure points such as Sengkang MRT, Tampines MRT, Katong V (Marine Parade), Tanjong Katong Complex (near Paya Lebar MRT), Lavender MRT and Textile Centre (Jalan Sultan/near Nicoll Highway MRT). I took KKKL because of past positive experiences while travelling with them and for convenience. I might not have been able to make it to KL in time should I have went for the cheaper option by travelling to JB first.

You can book your ticket online through  Easybook , BusOnlineTicket or at the counters at Katong V or Textile Centre. There is no additional markup when you book your ticket online through Easybook or BusOnlineTicket .

1 hour before departure, KKKL provided an SMS message on my bus departure. A nice personal touch before the journey even began.

I chose to depart from Tanjong Katong Complex since it’s more convenient for me. Also it is the second and final pick-up point before heading off to KL.

A one-way ticket to KL from Katong V or Tanjong Katong Complex during off-peak periods costs $22.

As there are some redevelopment works around Paya Lebar MRT, the walking distance to Tanjong Katong Complex is extended by around 2 minutes. Follow the many signs along the way to Tanjong Katong Complex.

The bus will stop in the car park as it only makes a quick pick-up. At the origin of Katong V, you will be able to board the bus earlier as the bus will wait there before the departure time.

The bus arrived at 7.45am sharp. After a quick pick-up and checking of tickets, the bus went off its way to Malaysia.

As it was an off-peak season, only 4 passengers were on board in this 27-seater bus. I found myself having 9 seats at the rear of the bus.

KKKL uses the Second Link via Tuas and Tanjung Kupang. No surprise detours to Larkin or any other towns to pick up more passengers.

The bus makes a stop of around 15 mninutes at Pagoh R&R, the middle point between Singapore and KL.

This is a popular rest stop among many other bus companies too, to and from various destinations. Take note of your bus look or number in case there are multiple buses parked beside each other.

The bus will first make a stop at Berjaya Times Square (under Imbi monorail station), followed by 5 Elements Hotel in Chinatown and lastly, Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS). You can choose your destination when you book your ticket, but if there are last-minute changes, be sure to inform the driver.

Book your Singapore-originating or Singapore-bound KKKL tickets at Easybook  or  BusOnlineTicket , or head down to their offices at Katong V or Textile Centre.

Later on in the evening, I would make my way to TBS to join the JOM NAIK KERETAPI group to Rantau Panjang by Perdana Ekspres .
