Precision Cruise Control | Suzuki Ignis

The PRECISION CRUISE is an Original Equipment quality, retrofit Cruise Control System. This particular system is compatible with the following vehicles: Suzuki Ignis 2017 - PRECISION CRUISE is a retrofit electronic cruise control system that provides all the functionality and convenience of Original Equipment systems, along with many enhanced features. This unit comes pre-programed for your specific vehicle and the full vehicle compatibility list can be found under the compatibility List Below.

(Supplied & Fitted, inc VAT)

Our PRECISION CRUISE Control Systems take all the stress and frustration out of long-distance traveling. Simply activate the Cruise Control and remove your foot from the accelerator pedal for a much smoother and more comfortable driving experience. Should you wish to increase or decrease your speed to suit driving conditions or traffic flow speeds, the cruise control provides the option to increase or decrease your speed by pressing the respective button on the cruise control arm.

Dual Memory Settings

The PRECISION CRUISE Control System features the ability to preset two Cruise speeds in the Cruise memory. This enables you to drive at your most commonly used cruise speeds at the touch of a button, without having to drive to the desired speed first.

Original Equipment Quality Equipment

All of our Cruise Control Equipment is OE Quality and comes complete with a 'Plug n Play' Pedal Harness to reduce Installation time and cost. Our Universal Cruise Arm (pictured) is an OE Quality Cruise Arm with all the required functionality and performance of original equipment systems. However, there is also the option on certain vehicles to incorporate the Original Equipment Cruise Control Switch for an even more professional installation.

Independent Speed Limiting

The Cruise Control also features the option of setting an Independent Speed Limit. This is controlled via the Universal Cruise Arm and can be activated to prevent the driver from speeding in areas where speed limit restrictions are enforced. The Cruise control can still be used independently below this limit. Please note that this facility is not available on vehicles where the Original Equipment Cruise Switch has been installed.

Reduces the Risk of Speeding Fines

Recently, there has been a dramatic increase in the number of speed cameras and police surveillance equipment on the roads. Using the PRECISION CRUISE enables the driver to maintain a safe (and legal) speed limit without the worry of being penalized.

Driving Optimization and Fuel Saving

When the Cruise Control is activated, the vehicle speed is regulated more than 50 times per second, optimizing driving performance. This, in turn, can also reduce fuel and transportation costs without compromising vehicle performance.

Installation Service

We also provide a full installation service of all our PRECISION CRUISE SYSTEMS. Please contact us directly to arrange a quotation and book an appointment.

PLEASE SELECT YOUR VEHICLE IN THE BOX ABOVE SO THAT WE CAN PROVIDE YOU WITH THE CORRECT SYSTEM. PLEASE CONTACT US DIRECTLY IF YOU DO NOT SEE YOUR VEHICLE ON OUR COMPATIBILITY LIST AS WE MAY BE ABLE TO PROVIDE A SOLUTION FOR YOU.

Due to the unique nature of this product, certain vehicles may incur a lead time for despatch and next day delivery may not always be available

Installation & Specifications

The PRECISION CRUISE comes complete with a Universal Cruise Arm that can be installed on the steering column. Most kits also come with a ready made 'Plug n Play' pedal harness for easy installation. Full, vehicle specific, Installation Instructions will be provided with each Cruise Control System purchased.

Introduction, what car says....

The Suzuki Ignis certainly isn’t one of those cars that have hardly changed from generation to generation. Over its lifetime, it's evolved from a humdrum MPV-styled hatchback to the tiny SUV with hybrid engine tech you see here.

When we say the Ignis is tiny, we really mean it. The Ignis is just 3.7m long and 1.7m wide. It's so small, in fact, that it’s about the same size as the Hyundai i10 , the  Kia Picanto and the  VW Up  – all small cars designed for city driving.

Even so, with its flared wheel arches, bluff nose and jacked-up stance, there’s no mistaking its eye-catching SUV presence. Despite the Ignis's size, Suzuki has managed to package it in such a way that it’s still practical. There's space for four people to sit comfortably, with sliding rear seats so you can prioritise rear leg room or boot space.

There are two Ignis trim levels – SZ-T and SZ5 – but only one engine, an 82bhp 1.2-litre petrol that uses mild-hybrid technology so it sips fuel oh-so gently. Unlike many small SUVs , the diminutive Ignis offers traction-enhancing four-wheel drive as an option.

What Car? Buying a car frequently asked questions

What Car? has a buying service

So how does the Suzuki Ignis stack up against its much larger but similarly priced rival the Dacia Duster or the more expensive options you might be considering, including the Ford Puma , the Skoda Kamiq and the VW T-Cross ?

That's what this review will tell you. And once you've decided which model is best for you, you can find the best prices if you search our New Car Buying pages .

Performance & drive

What it’s like to drive, and how quiet it is.

The Suzuki Ignis's 1.2-litre Dualjet petrol engine has a modest 82bhp, but it doesn't feel as though it lacks power thanks to the mild-hybrid (MHEV) system, which helps out at low engine speeds.

It’s quicker and slightly more responsive than the entry-level Dacia Duster, the  Toyota Aygo X and the VW Up . More expensive turbocharged rivals – such as the Ford Puma , the  Skoda Kamiq and the  VW T-Roc  – are peppier and less effort to drive, though.

There are two gearboxes available: a standard five-speed manual and an optional CVT automatic gearbox . So far, we’ve tried the five-speed manual, and found it precise enough to make the experience rather enjoyable.

Unfortunately, other mechanical areas are less accomplished – its braking performance, for example. Its stopping distance from 70mph was 8.3m longer than in a Kia Picanto .

One redeeming feature of the braking system is that the brake pedal is much more consistent than in some MHEVs, making smooth stops much easier.

Suzuki Ignis image

The slightly slow steering response is inconsistently weighted and often fails to self-centre at town speeds. While the Ignis is fairly agile, there’s more body roll than in the Picanto and the Up, and it’s not as enjoyable to drive as the Puma.

Still, the low weight and compact dimensions help it feel manoeuvrable, and grip levels are reassuring. Its real trump card, though, is that you can opt for four-wheel drive so you can go off road.

While the Suzuki Allgrip technology is designed to help the Ignis cross muddy fields rather than mountain ranges, the fact that it's available in a tiny small SUV is impressive. As is the fact that it brings proper off-road technology, including hill-descent control and an off-road focused traction control (called Grip Control).

That said, the 180mm ground clearance is quite limited and the tyres are designed more for efficiency than off-road grip. The petrol engine needs to be worked hard in challenging conditions to prevent it from bogging down too.

So, while the Ignis can get you out of the odd sticky off-road situation, a Dacia Duster is a more capable budget four-wheel-drive option.

How does it ride? Well, the soft suspension set-up translates to a generally comfortable ride, cushioning wavy dips and crests.

Unfortunately, the effect is marred by constant fidgeting over scruffy town roads and a thwack that reverberates through the body if you stumble across a sharp-edged pothole. Among small cars, the Hyundai i10 is comfier and better at isolating occupants from the road surface. And if you’re only considering SUVs, the Ignis is nowhere near as cushy as a Kamiq or T-Roc.

Refinement isn’t a strong point. The engine is always audible, and while it’s never coarse, the i10 is a little more hushed overall. There is road noise at 70mph, but it’s the wind noise gusting around the windscreen pillars and door mirrors that’s more irksome on a prolonged motorway jaunt.

Driving overview

Strengths Manoeuvrable size, four-wheel-drive option brings some off-road ability

Weaknesses Noisy at speed, fidgety ride

The interior layout, fit and finish

Sitting behind the wheel of the Suzuki Ignis is a relatively comfortable experience. You get driver’s seat height adjustment so you can sit high up if you want.

As with many city cars, the steering wheel can be adjusted for height but not reach (most pricier small SUVs offer adjustment in both directions). There’s no lumbar support adjustment available for the front seats, and the side bolsters are weak, so holding on to the steering wheel is your only form of support in tight corners.

The short bonnet means front visibility is good and accurately placing the car is very easy. Conversely, looking over your shoulder and trying to see past the wide, heavily styled rear pillars is more of a challenge. To help combat that, a rear-view camera is standard. LED headlights are standard too.

Visually, Suzuki has at least experimented with a convincing two-tone dashboard that looks quite attractive. Disappointingly, the interior materials are hard and feel low-rent compared with those in the Hyundai i10, the Kia Picanto and the VW Up – let alone the Ford Puma and the Skoda Kamiq. The car’s wobbly centre console suggests less-than-stellar build quality.

A Pioneer 7.0in colour touchscreen infotainment system is standard on all trim levels, with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone mirroring included. Built-in sat-nav is available on the top-tier SZ5 trim. The system isn't great to use: it’s pretty unresponsive and the menu layout is tricky to navigate and the screen resolution is low. The Dacia Duster system is better.

Interior overview

Strengths Good visibility

Weaknesses Unresponsive infotainment system; low-rent materials; rivals are more comfortable

Passenger & boot space

How it copes with people and clutter.

The relative roominess of the Suzuki Ignis depends on how you categorise it. Strictly speaking, it’s a small SUV and in that class it’s comprehensively thrashed by the Skoda Kamiq for interior space.

However, if you look at it as an alternative to one of the small cars designed for city driving, it's big compared with rivals. In fact, it does something most city cars struggle with, which is accommodating four adults in comfort.

There are two back seats, which recline and slide to prioritise boot space or leg room as required. No matter how you position them, they can't match the Kamiq for leg room, and the VW T-Cross is a much better choice for three people in the back.

An Ignis with four-wheel drive has a 204-litre boot, while two-wheel-drive versions get 267 litres (most city cars offer around 250 litres). For comparison, the Hyundai i10 offers 252 litres.

If you drop the back seats, the space expands to 490 litres or 514 litres, but that’s still small by SUV standards. The Ford Puma has more than 450 litres with the back seats upright.

The sliding rear seats allow you to gain more boot space by sacrificing legroom. There’s quite a pronounced load lip, especially when you fold down the 50/50 split-folding rear seats, which can make lifting heavy items into the boot awkward.

Practicality overview

Strengths Sliding and reclining rear seats boost versatility; spacious for a city car

Weaknesses No height adjustment for passenger; rivals have bigger boots

Buying & owning

Everyday costs, plus how reliable and safe it is.

Compared with similarly sized small cars such as the Hyundai i10, the Kia Picanto and the VW Up, the Suzuki Ignis’s price tag is slightly more expensive.

Put it next to small SUV rivals and it’s a different story: it undercuts the Ford Puma and the Nissan Juke by some margin. Granted, both those cars offer much more space, but unlike either of them, the Ignis gives you the option of four-wheel drive.

Suzuki frequently offers discounts on the list price and very tempting PCP finance deals, so make sure you check out our New Car Deals pages for the latest offers.

Our True MPG fuel economy tests on the front-wheel-drive Ignis led to a real-world average of 59.6mpg, which puts it up with the most economical cars we’ve tested. That's no small feat considering the many full hybrids and diesels we've tried. That figure drops if you opt for four-wheel drive, although the Ignis Allgrip still managed more than 50mpg in our tests.

The good news doesn't stop there. Comparatively low CO2 emissions help to keep company car tax palatable, and resale values sit at about the same level as the i10 and the Up. The bad news is that servicing and insurance costs are relatively high.

SZ-T is our favourite trim. It includes the touchscreen infotainment system, 16in alloy wheels, sliding rear seats, front electric windows, DAB radio, Bluetooth, four-speaker stereo and air-con. All in all, it represents the best value.

That said, we can see why you'd go for SZ5. For a relatively small premium, it gives you a few additional creature comforts, including keyless entry, electric rear windows, climate control and cruise control.

In terms of safety, the model scored the maximum five stars when it was tested by Euro NCAP . It comes with automatic emergency braking ( AEB ) as standard. The Dacia Duster and most city cars scored less than five stars, although it’s worth noting that the Ignis was tested back in 2016 under less stringent conditions.

Suzuki came an impressive joint fourth out of 32 manufacturers in the 2023 What Car? Reliability Survey  (only Lexus, Toyota and Mini did better). The Ignis itself did even better, coming top out of 18 small SUV models in the same survey.

Suzuki’s warranty runs for three years or 60,000-miles, and all versions of the model come with an immobiliser and security deadlocks on the doors.

Suzuki Ignis interior dashboard

There's no electric car version, but the Ignis’s 1.2 Dualjet 12V Hybrid engine has mild-hybrid ( MHEV ) technology that can help improve efficiency and bolster performance.

The Ignis has just one engine choice, the 1.2 Dualjet 12V Hybrid, and we recommend pairing it with the SZ-T trim level.

The Ignis SZ-T is cheaper than the SZ5, but still comes with a 7.0in touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and 16in alloy wheels. SZ5 adds sat-nav , rear electric windows, cruise control and other kit.

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR DIGITAL CLOCK

You will need to change the clock in your Suzuki at least twice a year, as we switch in and out of British Summer Time, with the clocks going forward in the Spring and then going back in the Autumn, but the good news is that it’s a straightforward process.

Clock on dashboard

Instructions for

Changing your Digital Clock

The process may vary from model to model, so it's worth checking your owner's handbook or asking someone at your local Suzuki Service Centre for advice on how to do it.

However, we have some general advice that will apply for most owners.

First, turn on your ignition and, once the instrument panel starts up, you're ready to go. If you have a stalk on the right-hand side of the instrument panel, press down on it, which will open the main menu.

Then twist the stalk to navigate the menu and scroll down to 'Clock setting'. Press the stalk to select this option. You'll now see the hour digit highlighted, so twist the stalk again to adjust the hour to what you want it to be, then press it to confirm.

Now you'll find the minutes are highlighted, so again twist the stalk to get to the correct time and press the stalk again to confirm and set the new time.

To return to the main menu, scroll to the 'Back' option and press the stalk.

The correct time should now be displayed in your car.

Please note that analogue clocks fitted in Vitara models will automatically synchronise with the digital clock.

USING CLIMATE CONTROL - AIR CONDITIONING WITH AUTO FUNCTION

Setting the climate control to manage the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system to ensure the right conditions is important for making the car as comfortable as possible – especially on long journeys.

Temperature Control

Using Climate Control

Using the climate control, also known as the air conditioning's 'auto function' to find the optimal climate within the car is easy. Your owner's manual will explain how to use the system, as specific information can vary from model to model, but most models will work in generally the same way.

First, press the A/C button to activate the air conditioning, then turn the speed selector (which should be the dial on the right) to adjust the fan speed. Then, to control the direction of the airflow – upwards, downwards or directly at the driver and front passenger – press the 'MODE' button until the direction is indicated in the screen.

In order to adjust the temperature, turn the temperature dial (usually the one on the left), with red and blue lines around the top. Turn it anti-clockwise – towards the blue – to lower the temperature, or turn it clockwise – towards the red – to increase the temperature.

If you want to demist the front windscreen, press the 'FRONT' button: to demist the rear screen, press the 'REAR' button.

You can also choose between fresh and recirculated air by pressing the button on the left with the icons of a car: one has an arrow flowing into the car from outside, which indicates fresh air, while the other, which has an arrow that rotates back on itself. In warm weather, using the recirculated air option will cool the cabin down quicker: this option will also minimise pollutants inside the car.

To switch the system off, press the 'OFF' button.

Pressing the 'AUTO' button maintains the set temperature.

To optimise the system, the cabin filter should be replaced every two years at your local Service Centre.

USING MANUAL AIR CONDITIONING

Using your manual air conditioning system to get the right conditions in your car is an important factor in making your journey as comfortable as possible- especially on longer drives.

Manual Temperature controls

Using Manual Air Conditioning

Setting the right temperature in the car using its manual air conditioning system couldn’t be easier. While you should check your owner’s manual for the full instructions on how to use the system, as the specifics can vary from model to model, most of the models work in a similar manner.

First, press the A/C button to switch on the air conditioning, then turn the speed selector to change the speed of the fan. The airflow selector can then be used to control the direction of the airflow- up, down or directly towards the driver and front passenger.

To set the temperature of the air conditioning, turn the temperature dial- the one with the red and blue lines. Turn the temperature dial anti-clockwise, towards the blue, to reduce the temperature, or turn it clockwise, towards the red, to increase the temperature.

If you want to demist the front windscreen using your car’s manual air conditioner, turn the airflow selector clockwise all the way to the right. If you want to demist the rear screen, press the button with the rectangle and three arrows rising upwards.

You can also decide whether to use fresh or recirculated air within your air conditioning system. Using recirculated air in this manner cools down the car’s cabin more quickly and will also allow you to minimise the amount of pollutants and allergens that enter the car while driving. To choose between fresh and recirculated air, select the buttons with the icons of the car: one has an arrow flowing into the car from outside, which indicates fresh air, while the other, which has an arrow that rotates back on itself, indicating recirculated air.

To switch the system off, turn the fan speed to 0.

To ensure that your manual air conditioning system is working at peak efficiency, the cabin filter should be replaced every two years at your local Service Centre.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR DASHBOARD LIGHTS

All modern cars have many warning lights on their dashboard to inform the driver of a problem – and Suzuki cars are no different. As many of these lights can indicate a serious issue with the car, it’s important that owners know what they mean.

How to use dashboard lights

Using Your Dashboard Lights

There is a simple shortcut that will help to understand the array of lights in the instrument panel. Red lights, for example, either indicate a serious problem with the car, or act as a reminder (a seatbelt not being worn while driving, for example). An orange or yellow light will indicate that a part needs replacing or a service is due: furthermore, if this light flashes, you should contact your local Suzuki Service Centre. A green or blue light, meanwhile, will mean that a feature such as automatic engine start/stop control, hill hold or lights are currently switched on.

In Suzuki models, there are a number of important dashboard warning lights that owners should be aware of, so referring to the owner’s handbook is recommended, in order to familiarise yourself with them. Chances are that you’ll never see them, but recognising them could either save you a lot of money in repairs or even save your life.

Notable examples are an orange light that points to a fault in the system the four-wheel-drive system; a flashing orange ABS light will warn that the system is in use, so the car’s wheels are slipping when the car is braking; a red airbag light will point to an airbag system fault and all airbags are switched off; an orange steering wheel with an exclamation mark warns of a fault in the electric power steering; or an exclamation mark inside a cross-section of a tyre is a low tyre pressure warning.

HOW TO USE CRUISE CONTROL

Many Suzuki models are now fitted with cruise control features, which offer a number of benefits for drivers.

Steering wheel and dashboard

Using Cruise Control

Cruise control is especially suited to long journeys and motorway driving, and is a good way to manage your speed (particularly in sections of road governed by average speed cameras). It also helps reduce fuel consumption by preventing sudden acceleration.

To find information on the cruise control feature on your Suzuki, check your owner’s manual or ask your local Suzuki Service Centre.

On many models, however, you’ll see a ‘CRUISE’ button on the steering wheel: pressing it engages the cruise control. To set the speed you require, press ‘SET’, then use the + and – buttons to increase or decrease your set speed: if you hold those buttons down, the speed will be adjusted in 5mph increments.

If your car has adaptive cruise control fitted, you can also maintain a set distance from the vehicle in front of you, by pressing the button with a car icon and some horizontal lines below it. Adaptive cruise control uses sensors in the car to measure the distance to the vehicle in front. If it slows, your car will also slow down, staying the same safe distance behind: if the vehicle in front speeds up or moves out of the way, your car will automatically increase its speed to what the cruise control is set to.

The advantage of adaptive cruise control is that it enables you to stay a safe distance behind the vehicle in front, working with collision avoidance technology to either avoid crashes or at least minimise the damage if a collision is unavoidable.

5* product, shipping, customer service

Posted by John on 20th Apr 2022

Ordered this for my MIL Suzuki SX4 base model. Received it in 4 days and decided to install it after work one day. After wiring in the main harness I noticed I was missing the secondary harness to the CC module. Called the company the next day (Friday) and they had one shipped out immediately and I received it on a Tuesday. Completed the setup and took for a test drive with no success ☹️ I called the company the next day and spoke with Michael and we walked through the complete setup and tested everything and it was determined I might have a bad CC module. Michael set me up with a whole new kit and promised to ship out that day. On my way home the CC started working and has worked ever since. I called and cancelled the new kit since mine was working and I didn’t want to start over

          Suzuki Ignis   2017 -

PRECISION CRUISE is a retrofit electronic cruise control system that provides all the functionality and convenience of Original Equipment systems, along with many enhanced features. This unit comes pre-programed for your specific vehicle and the full vehicle compatibility list can be found under the compatibility tab above.

Luxury and Convenience

Our PRECISION CRUISE Control Systems take all the stress and frustration out of long distance travelling.

All of our Cruise Contol Equipment is OE Quality and comes complete with a 'Plug n Play' Pedal Harness to reduce Installation time and cost.

Using the PRECISION CRUISE enables the driver to mainatain a safe (and legal) speed limit without the worry of being penalised.

Driving Optimisation and Fuel Saving

When the Cruise Control is activated, the vehicle speed is regulated more than 50 times per second, optimising driving performance. This in turn can also reduce fuel and transportation costs without comprimising vehicle performance.

We also provide a full installation service of all our PRECISION CRUISE SYSTEMS. Please contact us directly to arrange a quotation and book an appointment.

Swapped the wife's Ignis. For.....an Ignis

  • Add to quote

Wife's 2018 Ignis is coming to the end of its current PCP deal. Had a text from the local dealer saying they may be able to do a deal for us. Went in and after a bit of a chat. Ended up chopping her 2018 Ignis Adventure in for a new SZ5 model. For pretty much tie same monthly payment. Literally a few quid in it. Went for red this time, her current one is white. Delivery March. I think I know most of the stuff thats on the new ones and the sz5. Good to see it has a boot light now too. Lol. In all seriousness tho. The current one has been great. Two new tyres is all it's needed in three and a half years. Economical, comfy and very practical. I know the sz5 has cruise control, I don't think it is adaptive tho, is this correct? Anything we need to be aware of with the new mild hybrid ones?

2013GV

Read the manual. Theres so many options that may or may not be fitted depending on how it was ordered from the factory. They come with adaptive, if its fitted as an option.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure it's just regular cruise not adaptive as standard. We haven't requested any options at all. And gone for a red one as it's free. Lol

gloucester

I think the cruise control is still the same. It will be interesting to hear how you feel the performance has altered with the less powerful engine and the 3x capacity of the hybrid battery.

I'd have chosen yellow!

Red is the standard colour - I paid £650 extra for Orange with a Black roof

2 tone is extra here, orange is a standard colour

Danniorn

Danniorn said: The Ignis comes with adaptive cruise control? Must be only the new type? or was it an option on the prefacelift also? Ive seen it mentioned on few prefacelift cars that are for sale but i always thought it was just some mistake, but then i wonder, was there also an option for rain detection/auto windsheildwipers and auto highbeams? since many Ignis prefacelift i see for sale also list those options when i google about Ignis adaptive cruise control i cant find anything about it Click to expand...

I don't think ACC was or is available, certainly not in the UK. Nor auto high beam. I saw a Suzuki rain sensor accessory to automate the wipers but it was too expensive, around £150.

Off topic In my visits to Australia in 2016, 2017 and 2019 I certainly thought the cost of living was somewhat above that in Gloucestershire... However prices here are rising rapidly at present. I'm trying to get a new kitchen and have been caught out by the massive price increases at Ikea - averaging 11.5% on my design though some of the elements are much higher than that. A cutlery tray has gone up 40%! Getting back to cars, the Ignis has gone up a lot since I bought it, albeit they often seem to have a £2,000 discount going on, which was the case when I paid £13,149. The same car's now £16,949 which includes a " £1,000 Customer Saving ". That's nearly 30% more - much higher than inflation.

No adaptive cruise, though I never use cruise in any guise - my Vitara had ACC and I found it a bit uncomfortable to use, it worked but left me feeling less in control. What the Ignis also has is speed limiter, and its very easy to implement, I use it frequently when entering a large 30mph environment. Simply hit the limit button on the wheel, then jab the set button downwards until the display shows 31/32 mph (assuming you were doing more to start with) and thats it - done.

So you do use cruise control....the speed limiter is part of the cruise control system. It just stops you exceeding the set upper limit rather than maintaining a set speed all the time. I use cruise control on the open road and motorways and it makes a big difference to my fuel economy. You only have to touch the brake for it to disengage, or press the go pedal to pass someone and release the pedal and it comes back to the set point.

I use cruise control most of the time. I never use the speed limiter.

I use the adaptive cruise on my Vitara every day. Very useful I find. No adaptive on the ignis but standard cruise still worth having I think. Especially for longer journeys.

aquanaut20

Would you consider a 360km (3 hrs) trip a long journey, or would I have to consider my 950km (10.5 hrs) treck the one that fits that bill.. We do that regularly in one sitting.. Cruise is useless going up and down the mountains (6-10k')

Yeah. There won't be many UK drivers of the Ignis doing that sort of ascent or descent. So the cruise will be just fine I would think. Probably not the best car if you are regularly driving up and down mountains of that sort of height difference. Lol

Well the wife collected her new 22 plate SZ5 last week and I got to have a go in it this weekend. Have to say, it does feel significantly better than her 2018 Adventure model. Steering, suspension everything tbh. Cruise was useful even on a steady drive through the Cotswolds shame it's not adaptive but still useful. Her 2018 model only had 24000 miles, but the new one felt so much better. Not sure on every update or improvement Suzuki may have made. But it felt quite a bit different.

You have to bear in mine her old car wasn't the hybrid version but the new one is - that's going to alter the driving experience. I wouldn't have expected much of a difference suspension or steering-wise though - I'm not sure of any signficant changes there.
