Lal Tibba is located on top of Depot Hill in Landour. It is approximately 6 km from Mussoorie and offers a mesmerizing view of the place. Lal Tibba is the highest point in the area, it is very popular among the people who come to see here the beauty it offers. It is located at a height of 2275 m and is completely picture-perfect. For people to enjoy the view, there is a telescope installed from which people can enjoy a more clear view of places like Kedarnath Peak, Nilkantha Peak, Bandarpunch range and many more. Best Time To Visit Mussoorie

Mussoorie is a beautiful place that is visited by people all year round regardless of the temperature and the weather. The summertime is from March to June in Mussoorie. The summers are long and a good time to visit the place though later summers post-May get very hot and the scorching gets difficult to bare. Mornings are and evening is cool with winds blowing. The temperature ranges from 15 to 25 degrees Celsius. The summers make the snowmelt in the mountain hence the rivers are full which means that it is the best time to indulge in river rafting. Other adventure sports that can be done during this time of the year is trekking, hiking. Mussoorie makes for a good place to respite from the city heat.

Monsoon starts in July and lasts till September and is not a good time to visit the place. There are often landslides and frequent roadblocks which makes it difficult to make the most of the place and is a scary scenario. Because of the heavy rainfall, the tourists’ inflow is low which ultimately leads to the slash in hotel prices. If one still decides to travel to this place, they would be greeted with washed-up trees, flowers, beautiful landscapes, lush green hills, misty hills with clouds all around.
