Borders are open, live music is back and the K-pop touring cycle is in full swing. Stars including SEVENTEEN, aespa and NCT Dream are touring the world with new tunes in tow – and hitting Asia very soon.

While some of those artists are staging their own headline shows, others are on the line-ups of music festivals with both multi-genre and Hallyu-only line-ups. SM Entertainment rookie boyband RIIZE are set to embark on their first fan-con world tour this April with stops across Asia and the US. The group will make stops in cities such as Tokyo, Taipei, Singapore and more from April through to August, making it their first overseas headline shows since debut. Ahead of her next album, IU has finally announced her massive, first-ever world tour. The K-pop boyband have announced a brief tour of Asia with shows in four cities so far announced, billed as the last live shows from VANNER before member Sungkook before he enlists for mandatory military service on May 7. The rest of VANNER will proceed with the scheduled overseas shows without Sungkook, however venue and ticketing information have yet to be announced. Meanwhile, tickets to the Seoul dates are on sale now from  the official Yes24 website .

2024 Fan Concert ‘UNiEVERSITY’ – Seoul

K-pop boyband TEMPEST have announced an upcoming fan concert, titled ‘UNiEVERSITY’, taking place this April across two days at Seoul’s Yonsei University. The concert will have three iterations, with two repeats on Friday: one starting at 2pm, and the next starting at 7pm KST. Pre-sale for tickets will commence today (February 14) at 8pm KST, while general sales will be made available from February 16 onwards, via TicketLink .

Block B U-KWON 2024 ‘Birthday Party ～My day～’ Fanmeeting – Tokyo

The Block B singer recently announced a solo fanmeeting to be held in Japan’s capital city in belated celebration of his birthday, which falls on April 9. 1 Day Seoul Itinerary for Kpop Fans with Tips and Guides

Are you a Kpop fan who plans to go to Seoul and explore the city with a limited travel time? Then here is a simple itinerary for a day tour in Seoul especially made for you!

7:00 AM to 10:00 AM – Attend Kpop Music Show

Start your day tour in Seoul by attending Kpop music shows. Compare to a 1-day tour in Seoul for Kdrama fans , the Seoul itinerary for Kpop fans starts earlier. That is because most of the music shows in Korea are filmed early in the morning, sometimes even at dawn. But the good thing about attending music shows is that it is FREE and you can even receive exclusive gifts from Kpop idols themselves! Read this complete guide for foreigners in attending Kpop music shows in Korea .

10:30 AM to 11:30 AM – Visit K-Star Road

K-Star road is located at the main road connecting the Apgujeong Rodeo Station exit 2 and Cheongdam crossroads is often called the “luxury road of Cheongdam”. It is because of the presence of many luxury goods stores along with the road. In there you can find the which represents GangnamDol. These character dolls represent the 17 Kpop idols such as:

Take the Seoul subway and get off at Apgujeong-Rodeo Station (Bundang Line), Exit 2.

12:00 NN to 4:00 PM – Go to Different Entertainment Agencies

Every Kpop fan must definitely give time to visit the entertainment agency of their favorite Kpop idols. You may not see them in person but the thought of being with them in the same building will be fulfilling and thrilling! But there are entertainment agency buildings that have coffee shops where you could dine in and have a chance to meet their respective artists like JYP’s Soul Cup Café and Cube’s Cubaker . I have had successful encounters with my Kpop biases while sipping my coffee or ordering at the counter of Cube’s coffee shop.

Furthermore, if you stan many Kpop groups, then it is better to alot more time as the entertainment agencies are not that close to each other. For example, JYP is located in Sungnae-dong, near the Olympic Park while Cube is located in Seongsu-dong . On the other hand, there are ones who are close to each other just like YG building and WM Entertainment Building located in the neighborhood of Mangwon . Remeber to also take your lunch during this time so you will have enough energy for the rest of the day.

4:00 PM to 6:00 PM – Explore MBC World

If the Kpop group that you like has a comeback promotion, then most probably they will be busy attending music shows almost everyday. Some music shows have pre-recording in the morning and live recording in the afternoon. Therefore, if you happen to get in the music shows, then you will again spend your afternoon in it. But if you have free time, you can explore MBC World instead.

It is Korea’s first broadcasting theme park and a haven place for Hallyu fans who visit Seoul. If you are enthusiastic for Kdrama, K-pop, or anything Hallyu-related, you can definitely enjoy touring around MBC World. You can experience dancing and singing with your favorite Kpop idols as well as taking pictures with some Kdrama actors. You can also watch a hologram concert of Bigbang or get a chance to see Kpop artists in person. Note that their admission is only until 4:00 in the afternoon. 6:30 PM to Evening – Have Fun at Hongdae or Shop Kpop Merch in Myeongdong

If you love a vibrant and youthful nightlife where you could sing your favorite Kpop songs in a noraebang or watch live busking performances, then head to Hongdae. While if you prefer to shop for Kpop albums and other merchandise, head to Myeongdong. You will not only find rare Kpop items there, you can also try tasting the different food sold at Myeongdong Street !

K-Pop Group Stray Kids Reunite with Tommy Hilfiger for New Spring Campaign

K-Pop boy group Stray Kids has reunited with Tommy Hilfiger for a new Spring 2024 campaign.

Photographed by Sean Thomas, the eight-member group found a moment away from global tour dates and releasing Billboard 200 No. 1 albums to take over the 36th floor of the Conrad Seoul Hotel to take part in their second campaign shoot with the brand.

The campaign features members Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Felix, Seungmin and I.N decked out in head-to-toe Hilfiger looks that radiate the brand's classic preppy identity. Group member Han was absent from the campaign due to "exhibiting sudden symptoms of a cold" and "scheduling difficulties," the group's label announced in a statement on their social media.

The campaign is meant to revisit Tommy Hilfiger's original vision for modern prep, according to a release, while also acting as a celebration of Stray Kids' "collective energy and authentic bond, captured through a red, white and blue lens." The collection features reinventions of the brand's iconic polo shirts, knitwear and varsity jackets, all in hues of red, white and blue.

Stray Kids first partnered with Tommy Hilfiger for the fall 2023 campaign. "We've been fans of Tommy Hilfiger since we were kids and we're thrilled to continue this partnership," the group said in a statement. "We approached this shoot just like band-life, with everyone bringing their unique personality and then merging it with Tommy's Classic American Cool style."

Brand founder Tommy Hilfiger shared similar positive sentiments about the K-pop super stars. "Stray Kids are one of the world's most popular groups, and they possess an optimistic outlook that has connected them with international audiences through both their music and style," Hilfiger said in a statement.

"I can recognize their fierce determined spirit and it inspires me to deliver iconic looks for the next generation," Hilfiger continued.

In addition to this campaign, group member Felix is an ambassador for Louis Vuitton. The 23-year-old recently walked in the luxury fashion house's Fall Winter 2024 show. Group member Hyunjin also acts as an ambassador for Versace.

Stray Kids - formed by Korean entertainment company JYP Entertainment - has topped the charts with several of their recent releases, including four Billboard 200 No. 1 albums. Their most recent release, ROCK-STAR , earned the group a Billboard 200 No. 1 slot and marked the group's first entrance on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Three new outside directors were also appointed at the meeting: Park Jeong-mi , Jeon Seong-won and Lee Dong-woo . Park is a certified public accountant and currently serves as a tax accountant at Jeongan Tax Accounting Office. Jeon is a lawyer with Kim & Chang Law Office and former chief of the Bucheon Branch, Incheon District prosecutor’s office. Lee is an advisor to H-Re Co. and former head of the investment strategy office at Netmarble, the country’s largest mobile gaming company. The company also reappointed co-CEO Hwang as executive director.

Also at the meeting, YG Entertainment’s shareholders approved a dividend of 300 won (23 cents) per share that will pay out a total of 5.56 billion won ($4.2 million). In 2023, the company earned a per-share profit of 4,120 won ($3.11) on net income of 77 billion won ($58.1 million), up 46% from 2022.
