Unprofessional & Horrible experienceo

Unprofessional, more expensive compare to other similar agencies. Make sure you do your own research before you use their services. So sad that this is a supposed Muslim Travel Agency. They do not keep their promise nor care about their clients. Once they have your deposit you are at their mercy.

Racist & Fraudulent

This company stole my deposit and has refused to refund me. Everything was going great up until I paid my deposit and sent my passport copy. Do yourself a favor and read all the Yelp and other reviews for this company. Do not be fooled by the fact that they work with known American sheikhs. They are a fraud and WILL steal your money. In addition to this, they are condescending, rude, and racist. Are these people even Muslim?

How was your Umrah and Hajj with them?

Assalamunaleykum my friend, we were 10 friends went umrah with them Dec/2018, it was great we all enjoyed, they are really organized and pay attention every single question we asked. Take care and good luck.

Assalaamu alaikum i need to know the price of a GMC 7 seater from jeddah airport to madinah, ziyarath and madinah to mekka ziyarath and mekkah to jeddah ..and when they mention what exactly a Ziyarath means? pls explain if any one knows jazakallah

Yes, I have performed Hajj in 2016 and Isra Miraj Umrah in 2019 through Dar El Salam. I took Package 6B because I have a tight work schedule and cant get much time off. My experience can not be described in words. This was the best and most beautiful experience of a lifetime. The scholars accompanying us were very knowledgeable and the arrangements were absolutely parallel to none. Dar el Salam took care of us throughout. The hotels, stay in Mina, Arafat, Muzzalifa, trains, transport arrangements were handled to the very best of their ability.

Keep in mind when we go from the US we are spoilt so please you need to have patience. There will be periods of wait and sometimes longer than you may expect. Dar el Salam tries their very best to keep us comfortable but you have to also remember to keep your cool. Even with the best package you will have some trials. The experience just humbles you in a very practical way where you have to practice being cool and let go of the little stuff. You do learn sabar/patience as you remember that all this is only and only to worship and please Allah where you are combining ALL types of worship into one is what I think Hajj truly is.

I think you will feel transformed and with the help of Dar el Salam it will be a better experience in my opinion. They are not paying me to say this :-)

hope this is true. very Scary reading all the reviews especially when they are charging over 15K premium in 2020. Do i need to get a lwayer ready for this.

Tripadvisor staff removed this post because it did not meet Tripadvisor's forum posting guidelines with prohibiting self-promotional advertising or solicitation.

Among other issues, they do not arrive on scheduled times to pick you up - sometimes almost an hour late. The local contact numbers they provide are useless. The Mazarat tours included in the package are now a joke and they rush through a fraction of the things listed on their website.

But the transport to Jedah private DST or Saudi public buses?

I would very strongly advise you to NOT use DST for your Hajj or Umra trip.

I paid £5000 deposit to go for Hajj with DST in February. Soon after this the Coronovirus Pandemic happened, I asked DST if my wife and I could postpone our trip until next year because we are in the older age group and have underlying medical conditions which make us more likely to get the virus and die from it if we get it.

I explained that we didn’t want to cancel, just postpone until next year.

DST ( especially their agent in the UK, Jakir Ahmed) were completely unsympathetic and umempathetic

They said ‘we don’t do postponements, only cancellations, and if you cancel you’ll have to pay us £1000 cancellation charge’!

Because we felt so anxious and because the UK government has advised against any non essential travel indefinitely, we cancelled and had to pay £1000. Friends of mine who booked with other Hajj companies received a full refund.

I think DST are extremely unislamic and greedy and uncaring in their attitude.

I strongly advise you to please, please, please avoid this company to save you a lot of grief, stress and money!

very bad deceptive behavior. I paid almost $15 k for my familt Thanksgiving 2023 Umra trip, we paid for Quad room as per contract which has 4 full beds as per contract and hotel room descriptio, but Dar-Usalam decided to give us 2 beds room with 2 folding couches as it is $150 cheaper per night for them, which gives Dar Ulsalam $150x 8 nighs $1200 of saving into their pocket although we paid for it. I'm disappointed with their lies as they initially told us that Saudi's are the one who choose rooms!, then when we confronted them with online info from hotel and Dar Ulsalam is the one cheating us, they canceled our trip costing us about $3000 in loss they charged as as credit card and visa fees. I can NOT recommend this company at all, as honesty and clarity is very important when it comes to doing business, especially some thing hoy like UMRA and Hajj
