This 20-deck cruise ship is the largest in the world. Here's when it will set sail

Icon of the seas sets sail from portmiami on jan. 27, 2024, by monica galarza • published november 29, 2023 • updated on november 29, 2023 at 8:28 am.

It's official: Royal Caribbean is the owner of the largest cruise ship in the world.

The company accepted the delivery of the Icon of the Seas on Monday during a momentous ceremony in Turku, Finland.

With 20-decks, the Icon of the Seas comes in at 250,800 tons and will be more than 6% bigger, about 10 feet longer, than the Wonder of the Seas, a news release by Royal Caribbean said.

The ship, which took 900 days to build, is set to set sail from PortMiami on Jan. 27, 2024.

Not only will the ship have eight different neighborhoods for travelers to explore , but the 7,600 passengers allowed onboard will also have seven pools, six record-breaking waterslides and about 40 bar and dining options to choose from.

“We are celebrating more than a new ship; it’s also the celebration of the culmination of more than 50 years of innovation and dreaming at Royal Caribbean to create the ultimate vacation experience,” said Jason Liberty, president and CEO, Royal Caribbean Group.

The Icon of the Seas has all the bases covered no matter what type of vacation you are looking to have.

For the adventure-seekers, Thrill Island will feature Category 6, the world’s largest waterpark at sea.

This neighborhood will also have a ropes course and thrill ride, a FlowRider wave simulator and a mini golf course.

If you are looking to relax, Chill Island has four of the seven pools and an adults-only area.

The company added that the Icon of the Seas is also the cruise line’s first ship that can be powered by liquefied natural gas, a transitional fuel.

The dual-fuel engines will work alongside a lineup of energy efficiency initiatives and industry-leading environmental programs on board, like the first waste-to-energy plant at sea.

Royal Caribbean has just announced more details for its latest mega-ship, Icon of the Seas. Scheduled to set sail on her first voyage in January 2024, Icon of the Seas will usurp Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas as the largest cruise ship in the world.

The 20-deck ship will feature 2,805 staterooms and have a maximum capacity of 7,600 guests—over 500 more passengers than Wonder of the Seas. It will also kick off the brand’s new Icon class of vessels and introduce passengers to five new "neighborhood" concepts, with eight neighborhoods in total.

Among the new neighborhoods is Chill Island, the ship’s new take on a pool deck. Chill Island will be located mid-ship across three decks and hold four of the ship’s seven pools, including the brand’s first-ever swim-up bar at sea.

On the other end of the spectrum, the new Thrill Island neighborhood will be packed with adrenaline adventures, from the six waterslides within its Category 6 waterpark (the largest at-sea) to the FlowRider and rock wall. You can also walk along the edge of the ship’s Crown & Anchor logo, which hangs off the side on the top decks of the ship.

Icon will also introduce the AquaDome. A dynamic entertainment space featuring a 55-foot waterfall, it functions as a spot for 220-degree ocean views by day and a stage and nightlife venue at night. Meanwhile, the family-friendly Surfside is designed to keep kids of all ages entertained with water and dry activities, kids club areas, and an adjacent three-story family townhouse.

The Hideaway neighborhood will boast an industry first with its fully-suspended infinity pool. There will also be plenty of deck space set up with sun loungers and a dedicated bar. It hasn’t been explicitly announced, but we’re guessing this will be for adults only.

Returning neighborhoods such as Central Park, Suite Neighborhood, and Royal Promenade will also undergo some revamping. For one, Central Park will be spread out over five decks, displaying four living plant walls and containing about 20 percent more plants than in previous iterations.

In addition to these new and expanded neighborhoods, Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas will also introduce new stateroom features like suites with infinite balconies and redesigned family suites that can fit up to six and offer split bathrooms and dynamic spaces.

“With each new ship, we raise the bar in the travel industry while enhancing what our guests know and love,” Jason Liberty, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group, said in a statement. “From the moment they step on board, every experience is specifically designed to give them the best vacation anywhere on land and at sea. With Icon of the Seas,   we’ve taken this to a new level and made the ultimate family vacation.”

Icon of the Seas will be available for booking starting this month via the Royal Caribbean website .

The Icon of the Seas, hailed as the upcoming largest cruise ship in the world in gross tonnage, is set to debut in 2024. It is being hailed as the world's largest cruise ship in gross tonnage, making it an enticing choice for those seeking a luxurious cruising experience. The ship has already completed its first ocean trial in Turku, Finland. Here’s everything you want to know about the grand vessel.

The cruise ship is expected to start its operations in early 2024, departing from the Port of Miami on January 27, according to  News18 .

With a length of 1,200 feet (365 meters) and a weight of 250,800 tonnes, Icon of the Seas is reportedly the largest cruise ship ever built. The vessel is expected to accommodate approximately 2,350 crew members and 5,610 passengers on its voyage next year. However, the reported passenger capacity of over 7,960 indicates that the ship has the potential to carry more passengers.

The luxurious cruise ship has 20 decks, offering plenty of space for various amenities. Some facilities include a water park with six slides, seven pools - including the largest pool at sea, a dome area, an aqua theatre, and a swim-up bar with an infinity pool area. This will be the first suspended infinity pool found on any ship, according to  The Statesman . The floor-to-ceiling windows will offer passengers expansive views of the ocean.

The most captivating feature of Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas is the enormous waterpark at the back of the ship. This waterpark, called Category 6, is part of a larger neighbourhood known as Thrill Island, which covers a significant portion of the aft part of the ship.

The waterpark, spanning 17,000 square feet and occupying nearly the entire starboard side of the area, offers six different waterslides. Thrill Island also features Base Camp, a dining spot where you can enjoy fast food. Food and beverage options will include both complementary and for-purchase items. Other activities at Thrill Island include golfing, flowriding and rock wall climbing.

On June 19, 2023, the Icon of the Seas began its initial sea trials before returning to the Meyer Turku shipyard on June 22, where it will undergo final adjustments.

For a seven-night stay, the lowest available rate is $1,968 (Rs 1 lakh and 61 thousand approx.), according to Royal Caribbean's website. The most expensive ticket, with which you can stay in one of the suites, will cost $4.520 (Rs 3 lakh and 71 thousand). The prices will fluctuate depending on your chosen dates. The ship will start from Miami, Florida, and travel through Philipsburg, St. Maarten, Charlotte Amalie, US Virgin Island and CocoCay, Bahamas, before turning to Miami again. CocoCay is one of the Berry Islands in the Bahamas, used for tourism exclusively by the Royal Caribbean Group.

The Icon of the Seas is a project by Royal Caribbean International (RCI), a popular cruise line brand. RCI was originally founded in 1968 in Norway before becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Royal Caribbean Group, a global cruise holding company, in 1997. Royal Caribbean Group, the world's second-largest cruise line operator, owns several other cruise line brands, including Celebrity Cruises, Azamara, and Silversea Cruises. It has its headquarters in Miami, Florida.

According to  The Statesman , Royal Caribbean filed a trademark application for "Icon of the Seas" in 2016.

MIAMI (AP) — The world's largest cruise ship — the size of almost four city blocks — is set to begin its maiden voyage Saturday as it leaves from the Port of Miami.

Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas runs nearly 1,200 feet (365 meters) from bow to stern.

The ship, which is leaving South Florida for its first seven-day island-hopping voyage through the tropics, was officially christened Tuesday with help from soccer legend Lionel Messi and his Inter Miami teammates.

“Icon of the Seas is the culmination of more than 50 years of dreaming, innovating and living our mission – to deliver the world’s best vacation experiences responsibly," Royal Caribbean Group President and CEO Jason Liberty said earlier this week. “She is the ultimate multigenerational family vacation, forever changing the status quo in family travel and fulfilling vacation dreams for all ages on board.”

The ship sets sail as Royal Caribbean’s cruises are having a moment online. Since December, the company’s 9-month “Ultimate World Cruise” has captivated — and confused — a following of avid watchers on social media.

Millions are following the journey through the eyes of the passengers, as they live and post their lives aboard a vessel they’ll be on for nearly a year. If it sounds like a reality show, that’s exactly what some watchers have turned it into.

When the Icon of the Seas was first revealed in October 2022, the ship spurred the single largest booking day and the highest volume booking week in Royal Caribbean’s then 53-year history, according to the cruise line.

The Icon of the Seas is divided into eight neighborhoods across 20 decks. The ship includes six waterslides, seven swimming pools, an ice skating rink, a theater and more than 40 restaurants, bars and lounges. The ship can carry up to 7,600 passengers at maximum capacity, along with 2,350 crew members.

It is powered by six dual-fuel engines, which can be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), a fuel alternative that the Cruise Lines International Association says reduces sulfur and greenhouse gas emissions. However, some environmentalists worry LNG-powered ships increase methane emissions . Other say that vacationers generate eight times more carbon on a cruise than they do on land.

Royal Caribbean says every kilowatt used on the Icon of the Seas “is scrutinized for energy efficiencies and emission reductions.”

Cruise Deck Plans, Ship Reviews

CruiseMapper logo

CruiseMapper's deckplan services provide cruise deck plans reviews integrated with newest deck layouts and deck legends (company's cabin categories as names and color codes). Each page has a separate link to the vessel's passenger cabins' review that provides information on all its staterooms (amenities, cabin types, grades) with usually included floor plans and photos. Here you can search for a particular ship (via the above search bar) or you can skip the introduction/explanations and go down directly to our list of large passenger ships' deckplan pages .

Along with regularly updated officially issued cruise line deck plans, CruiseMapper's deck plans pages also show statistical information on passenger shipping vessels (including ferries ). All pages are organized as "ship review" articles. You will know what is what, where (location on deck), serving what (functions), operates how and when (review of all onboard venues as activities, amenities, operational hours, special features).

Most of CruiseMapper's ship deck plan pages also review the vessels' newest upgrades/latest refurbishment changes. All dining venues (restaurants and food bars) reviews also contain basic menu/cuisine information, and whether the dining options are complimentary, at fee/surcharge PP or a-la-carte-priced.

All deck plan pages include basic statistical information, such as:

  • year built, vessel class and sisterships (among the fleets of all lines)
  • total number of cabins, plus number per type (Inside, OceanView/RiverView, Balcony, Suite)
  • capacity - passengers (normal and max) and crew capacity
  • number of passenger-accessible decks, number (if any) of swimming pools and whirlpools (hot tubs), passenger elevators, water-slides

On some boats is additionally provided information regarding name origin/meaning, service history, fun facts.

Cruise deck plans (floor layouts) updates

Like all things in life, cruise deck plans do change over time. Often, cruise companies/charter operators change facilities and public venues - their location, type (services and amenities), size, or names. Other changes may relate to new cabin categories.

Often, after a major refurbishment, to the ship are added:

  • new passenger cabins
  • new dining venues - specialty restaurants, bars, lounges, etc
  • new facilities - aqua park, waterslide(s), Spa, pool(s) / Jacuzzi(s), outdoor movie theater, etc
  • or - simply change the names of the existing ones.

We are responsible for all these deckplan changes and keep our deck layouts and reviews regularly updated and correct.

Cruise ship deck plan reviews

In each of CruiseMapper's deck plans you will find a detailed list of all staterooms and facilities on the vessel. This information generally includes:

  • vessel details - year built, last refurbished (and/or scheduled refurbishment), capacity (passengers plus crew)
  • total number of passenger cabins, launderettes (passenger use self-service laundry /if any), onboard credit kiosks (self-service money transfer), photo kiosks
  • dining room(s), buffet restaurant, specialty restaurant(s) /at surcharge per person or with a la carte menus, dinner club, fast food bars/stations
  • theatre/main show lounge
  • lounges and bars, conference/meeting room(s)
  • casino, video games arcade, special gaming room (like F1 car simulator)
  • swimming pool(s) and whirlpools (hot tubs)
  • Spa and Fitness complex (wellness facility), jogging/walking track, roller-skating track, sports court(s)
  • cinema, library, art gallery, photo gallery
  • atrium/lobby area with reception desk, shore excursions desk, duty-free shops and boutiques
  • Promenade Deck (an outdoor area that fully or partially encircles the ship)
  • kids and teen club lounges and playing zones (on some ships with pool/whirlpool), missing on adult-only vessels
  • Aqua Park with slide(s) - on the largest liners only
  • unique facilities - such as rock-climbing wall(s), ice-skating track(s), Zip-line, rotating panoramic capsules, glass-floor walking paths, bumping cars, skydive and surf simulators, F1/Sports Car simulator, bungee trampoline, and many other truly bizarre cruise ship design inventions.

CruiseMapper's dedicated staff does regular updates that reflect all floor plan changes (when officially announced by the companies). We do this job properly - so you can count on us, and the information we provide to be accurate and up-to-date.

Follows the long list of (internal) links, which redirect to the vessel's deck plan review. Know that these are only ocean-going ships.

To see all riverboat deck plans, you'll have to follow CruiseMapper's river cruise lines links and explore the company's fleet. CARNIVAL JUBILEE™ SAILS FROM GALVESTON PACKED WITH SUCH FUN & INNOVATION

CARNIVAL JUBILEE: NEXT-LEVEL FUN, POWERED BY LNG

Hey, welcome to Carnival Jubilee! The ship that’s following in the fun footsteps of Mardi Gras ® and Carnival Celebration ® has some big flip-flops to fill, and you can count on Carnival Jubilee™ to take things to the next level with six “zones” of fun. Zones are areas themed to transform your vacation into a unique mix of experiences — hop from zone to zone throughout your day to make your own. (And two of them — Currents™ and The Shores™ — are new, oceany-fresh fun spaces.) We’re talking things like the third bistro at sea — Emeril’s Bistro 717™ — from our new Chief Culinary Officer; plus Carnival classics like BOLT ® , RedFrog ® Tiki Bar , Family Feud™ Live , Cucina del Capitano ® , Seuss at Sea™ and Playlist Productions™ . These are joined by fresh innovations like The Golden Mermaid™ and Dr.Inks, Ph.D.™ … plus all-new onboard fun spots. And every last one of them is powered by clean-burning LNG fuel!

NEXT-LEVEL FUN IS EXPLORING NEW WORLDS

In the world of Carnival Jubilee ™ zones are where fun, flavor and relaxation live… and there are six just waiting for you to explore.

Grand Central

Grand Central is designed to make an impression… and that’s good because it’s going to be your first one! You can count on Carnival Jubilee’s atrium to set the vacay vibes for your whole cruise. Look up and you’re honestly in for an eyeful — floor-to-ceiling windows, 14-foot LED screens, a ceiling of 1,400 color-changing lights… everything points to BIG FUN happening in here. And even if you’re just passing through, know that you’ll definitely be back later. Center Stage features a rotating selection of live entertainment, while Grand View Bar serves up great drinks with plenty to feast your eyes on. In Grand Central you're never far from cups of comfort at JavaBlue ™ Café , great dining spots like Bonsai Sushi ™ and Bonsai Teppanyaki ™ , plus feel-good entertainment like Piano Bar 88 ™ and The Punchliner Comedy Club ™ .

We’ve taken the vast world that exists underneath the waves as the inspiration for Currents™ … but why limit your imagination to what’s real? Let the fantastical world of sunken cities, mermaids and sea monsters swirl around your mind as you enjoy new bars, dining spots and live music venues that carry this vibe. This space has good looks, but you can’t miss the innovative tech packed into the zone! Six huge LED “windows” — and the awe-inspiring wavy LED ceiling — will help transport you to mesmerizing digital underwater worlds. These screens are the center of the local entertainment, with interactive audio-visual elements that let kids, adults and everyone enjoy and add to the under-this-world seascapes! Plus there’s Seaquest , a show that virtually transforms the zone into a submarine on an adventure we’ll enjoy together. And with everything to see, don’t forget about the fantastical flavors, with Emeril’s Bistro 717™ , Dr.Inks, Ph.D.™ and The Golden Mermaid™ .

You know we definitely see our share of coastal areas, so it’s easy to imagine how special a place it is to us. That’s why paying tribute to the magical spot where the water meets the land just feels so natural. That’s what’s going on at The Shores™ , a new zone aboard Carnival Jubilee! Beaches, boardwalks and piers were just a little of what inspired us to create this zone that serves up just the right flavors and feels. For starters, Coastal Slice™ is the hotspot for fresh pizza that can only be topped… by delicious toppings. Marina Bar™ is an indoor/outdoor spot where the drinks are only part of the refreshment story — there’s also some great lounging to do! And if we catch you feasting your eyes on our Beach Buns™ , c’mon, who can blame you? It’s a fabulous way to enjoy delicious sandwiches made how you like, or even a just-got-grilled hot dog.

Summer Landing

Go ahead and call Summer Landing 'the greatest chill spot at sea'... and we'll be right there with you, any time of year! What's three letters long and goes great with chilling outdoors? BBQ, so we're building a Guy's Pig & Anchor Smokehouse | Brewhouse into this zone so it always tastes like summer here with freshly-smoked faves designed by Guy Fieri and original Parched Pig ® beers brewed just feet away. If you're wondering where the pool and whirlpool are, we're so alike, you and us... and that's why we're sure you're gonna love The Watering Hole , a poolside bar we're building for aficionados of backyard-style relaxation. And for military folks — or folks who just want to raise a glass to them — please report to Heroes Tribute ™ Lounge for great service. We know you guys like soft serve too, so we're throwing in a Swirls ™ location — one of two! And why wouldn't we? At Summer Landing, fun this cool is literally always in season.

If you’ve cruised with us before, you know Lido ... but aboard Carnival Jubilee ™ this poolside zone features even more delicious and fun experiences among the familiar flavors. Evolving the classic poolside rum-bar was a tall order, but RedFrog ® Tiki Bar will be serving up the good stuff across two decks’ worth of South Pacific atmosphere. Also first-time-fresh is Street Eats , bringing together highlights from the world’s fast-good cuisine like kebab, bao buns and seriously upgraded fries. Shaq’s latest Big Chicken ™ restaurant is here, and fan-fave spots like Guy’s Burger Joint ™ , the New England-inspired Seafood Shack ™ , and BlueIguana Cantina ™ taco spot aren’t done with your taste buds yet. And for folks hoping we haven’t forgotten: yes, Lido is absolutely home to one of two Swirls ™ locations, the free soft-serve spot!

THE ULTIMATE PLAYGROUND

Don't let the name fool you — this zone is ages everybody and up. Kids, you're going to love this. And adults, the playground has grown up with you. So yay for play! Of course The Ultimate Playground starts with BOLT ® , the first rollercoaster at sea, an all-electric thrill ride that puts the power of speed in your hands. But that's only the beginning — this playground has the largest Carnival WaterWorks ™ ever with three huge spiraling slides, plus SportSquare ™ is here featuring an entire mini-golf course, full-court basketball and a ropes course. And, of course, more. Ultimate enough for you?

NEXT-LEVEL FUN IS HITTING ALL THE BEST SPOTS

New innovations join fan favorites across Carnival Jubilee ™ which does its crowd-pleasing with all the awesome tricks of the fun trade.

BOLT: ULTIMATE SEA COASTER

Aboard Carnival Jubilee ™ you’ll meet BOLT ® : the fastest — and first! — rollercoaster at sea. Strap in and zoom your motorcycle-style speed machine around an open-air course high, high above sea level. You know how on most rollercoasters... actually, never mind. Forget other coasters because this all-electric thrill ride puts you in the driver’s seat. That means you actually get to control how fast you go, so hit the gas and try for the fastest time, go for the biggest thrill — plus some amazing 360° ocean views! And for the folks who choose to chill: go light on the pedal, and this just might be the coaster for you!

Dr.Inks, Ph.D.

In life, there are important, difficult questions to answer. An example: can an octopus enjoy a cocktail underwater? Don’t ask how it works… but the answer is yes. We know this thanks to the extensive research of Dr.Inks, Ph.D.™, the cleverest of sea creatures. She spends her time beneath the waves pondering the big ones while still finding time to sip. And here the drinks aren’t just tasty, but truly unique, with color-changing cocktails, layered shots, jellyfish cocktails and more drinks featuring garnishes like boba pearls and seafoam. At the bar you won’t just enjoy some of her favorites, but you’re welcome to look through some of her favorite books, journals and fountain pens. There’s also live musical entertainment nearby, right on the stage, because even octopuses need to let their hair down.

Family Feud Live

The show has been delighting viewers at home for generations, but you never had the chance to buzz-in on a cruise ship… until now! Carnival ships are the only place you’ll find Family Feud™ Live, and on every sailing we’ll be hosting games on an authentic Family Feud™ set — right down to the iconic Face-Off podium, plus all the excitement of Fast Money. Family Feud Live will be emceed by none other than your cruise director, so if you’re game, sign up your team of five for an audition… and make sure they bring that Family Feud spirit. And, of course, everybody’s welcome to grab a seat in the audience to catch all the hilarious action!

For those who flock to waterparks just ready to make a splash, we’d suggest sliding on over to WaterWorks ™ aboard Carnival Jubilee ™ . Three large-scale spiraling slides, a giant dumping bucket, twin racing slides and more — you know, the works — are all practically overflowing for your hydro-delight. When you spot the big slides on board you’ll see that they mean business, splashy business: Blue Lightning ™ is packed with headfirst, high-speed twists and turns, while Orange Thunder ™ starts you off standing before propelling you down into a world of wetness… and of course, our signature Twister ™ slide keeps on thrilling splash-seekers.

The Golden Mermaid

To find uncharted flavors, never before seen on land, we had to dive deep. Far below the waves we met a mermaid who swims the depths of the oceans to find the long-lost treasures of ancient civilizations. Oh, and it wasn’t just any mermaid. The mermaid was golden . You’ve gotta trust us… or you can join us at The Golden Mermaid™, where amazing drinks are just the beginning. Some of the mixological treasures we’re recovered from the deep? Cocktail recipes inspired by precious metals and gemstones, drinks served in exquisite glassware, plus garnishes like edible glitter to remind you of sunlight streaming through the waves from up above! All this glitz pairs perfectly with live music, making this the perfect place to relax with an elegant drink before or after dinner.

CENTER STAGE + PLAYLIST PRODUCTIONS

They’re not concerts, they’re not exactly plays… these shows are something else entirely. Every performance is built on amazing songs you know and love, presented like you’ve never seen before. Multi-talented performers fill the stage with song, dance... and superstar attitude. Carnival Jubilee™ plays host to a lineup of shows like Soulbound and its spooky, atmospheric R&B and Visual Symphony , with innovative LED walls and special effects three decks high. Let’s see what else… debuting right here there’s Dear Future Husband , an interactive pop-wedding adventure. Of course there’s also Celestial Strings , which reimagines rock and pop favorites as symphonic classical compositions, and We Are One , which has performers sometimes leaving the stage behind, actually soaring above the audience.

SPORTSQUARE

You’ll find an oasis of friendly competition at SportSquare ® , located at The Ultimate Playground on Carnival Jubilee ™ . Take on friends at mini-golf, battle strangers at basketball, or push yourself to new heights at the ropes course… or to record-setting low times at the jogging track. SportSquare gets you in the game with soccer and volleyball, plus it brings pool, foosball and ping-pong to the table. Are you game?

SERENITY ADULT-ONLY RETREAT

Somebody at Carnival knows just what you need, and it's pretty much exactly the Serenity Adult-Only Retreat ™ . Look, you'll still be on the same ship as the kids, the hoopla, and all the Carnival-style excitement... but you could easily forget, because when you're at Serenity you could not be further from it all. The world you'll find yourself in is one of complete peace, sea breezes and, of course, a nearby bar. It's the place to get done the kind of stuff you just can't seem to do anywhere else — reconnect with your partner, finish that book, or do absolutely, blissfully, nothing at all.

CLOUD 9 SPA

True or false: cruises are a time for relaxation. Our answer: whether you're all action all the time, or chill to the core, everybody needs a chance to take it easy! And nobody will find an easier spot than Cloud 9 Spa ™ aboard Carnival Jubilee ™ . This is an oasis built from the ground up for relaxation, from a full complement of traditional spa services like massages, facials, body wraps to the carefully-designed climates of Cloud 9's thermal suites... rooms swirling with moist or dry air, each heated very precisely. It turns out it's true: anyone can find a reason to say 'ahhh' at Carnival Jubilee's Cloud 9 Spa.

THE PUNCHLINER COMEDY CLUB

Carnival Jubilee ™ has its own Punchliner Comedy Club in the Grand Central zone, and up on stage you’ll find some real pros who know how to wedge a little laughter into anyone’s evening. You can count on these comedians to not hold back either. Since some of them get up and say exactly what’s on their mind, we also schedule family-friendly performances… so the only red faces in the audience are from laughing a little too hard.

THAT OUGHT TO BE ENOUGH FUN FOR ANYONE!

NEXT-LEVEL FUN IS TRYING EVERY LAST FLAVOR

Enjoy old favorites or find fresh new ones aboard Carnival Jubilee™, where our chefs aim to delight any time from mealtime to snacktime to pizza-time (that’s ‘til 4 a.m.!).

Emeril's Bistro 717

For all the talents he’s shared with us all throughout his years in the culinary and entertainment worlds, Emeril is at his core a crowd-pleaser, a master at understanding and delivering what we all hunger for. And his style of hometown favorites — New Orleans’ Creole and seafood — are a sure bet if you’re trying to satisfy hungry cruisers! That’s why at Emeril’s Bistro 717, the good stuff starts early in the a.m. with dishes like shrimp & grits, poached eggs and — mm-mmm! — beignets. It doesn’t slow down as the day progresses either, with Crescent City classics like jambalaya, fresh oysters, duck ‘n sausage gumbo and more. Stop in and see why we love Emeril’s stuff so much we made him Carnival’s first-ever Chief Culinary Officer!

Cucina del Capitano

At Cucina del Capitano ® on Carnival Jubilee ™ , who you’ve got gathered around the table is truly as important as what’s being served there. At our table you’ll enjoy delicious Italian favorites — we serve them family-style because we know that sharing large plates and sharing tales of your day’s adventures goes hand-in-hand. Speaking of which, our walls are adorned with old snapshots from our officers’ family albums, proving that the rustic Italian-farmhouse atmosphere definitely isn’t for show.

Rudi’s Seagrill

Rudi’s Seagrill ™ is the brainchild of cookbook author and master chef Rudi Sodamin. He has years of experience pleasing palates of vacationers… and this guy loves serving up a smile as much as Carnival does! But he’s serious about seafood, and an evening at Rudi’s proves it through the courses. Enjoy selections like seafood bisque and crab-stuffed lobster tail imperial — all served with an elegant flair that pays proper tribute to the beauty of the ocean from which so much fun, and flavor, arises.

Bonsai Teppanyaki

It’s a meal, a performance, and it’s definitely unforgettable. The Bonsai Teppanyaki ™ experience is set to delight guests aboard Carnival Jubilee ™ . Take a little time out of vacation to sit down to a selection of tempting appetizers, before your chef prepares the main course featuring selections of meats, tofu, fish, shrimp or lobster… right at your table. In the teppanyaki tradition — and Carnival’s tradition of fun — expect an interactive, satisfying meal full of surprise and delicious delight.

Guy's Pig & Anchor Smokehouse | Brewhouse

With choices like brisket, sausage, baby back ribs and dry-rubbed chicken, our pros do the smoking right there over hickory wood before serving them up at your table. You’re in Guy Fieri’s house — Carnival Jubilee ™ has Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse | Brewhouse. Now about the brews: this house of BBQ tradition doesn’t just satisfy your hunger — you’ll also enjoy our all-new, exclusive line of Parched Pig ™ craft brews. There’s a smoked porter, a farmhouse ale, a hoppy IPA and a toasted amber, all brewed just feet from your table. Tip: Come by and check out the free menu at lunchtime, plus live music and lively atmosphere all day.

Bonsai Sushi

So maybe you’ve had sushi before, but have you tried it at Bonsai Sushi ™ ? This is Carnival’s onboard seafood-and-soy-sauce spot, and we think you’ll enjoy our latest location, aboard Carnival Jubilee ™ . Dine indoors or out amidst carefully-pruned bonsai trees, while enjoying a delectable menu with sit-down service. Rounding out the meal: soups, sides, sakes and desserts. So the next time you’re taking a stroll down the onboard promenade, stop at Bonsai Sushi for a roll, a box or maybe order a whole sushi ship — seaborne satisfaction for two.

Guy's Burger Joint

We call Carnival Jubilee ™ 's onboard burger spot Guy’s Burger Joint ™ . We teamed up with Guy Fieri to design not just the burgers and fries, but to help bring in the kind of rustic atmosphere you’d find at a roadside burger shack somewhere off a coastal highway. All signs point to ambiance — and serious flavor — so try a burger dressed up the way Guy likes it, or take it off-roading… to the nearby topping bar, where you can make it your own.

Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse

Haute cuisine meets atmosphere at Fahrenheit 555 ™ , a dining experience that stands toe-to-toe with some of the best steakhouses on land. Except this one’s at sea — aboard Carnival Jubilee ™ . Ours features your choice of steak cuts, lobster, lamb and more… and inside, there’s even a full bar that pours great pairings. These are the building blocks of an amazing experience — delectable elements that combine with great service to offer an evening to remember.

Big Chicken

When Shaq tells you to build a chicken joint on board, you start warming up immediately. The big guy brings his poultry know-how and good taste to the seas with Big Chicken ™ on Carnival Jubilee ™ . Just like Shaq’s a multitalented entertainer, his restaurant is no one-trick chick. Step up to the counter for lunch or dinner and walk away with your choice of chicken sandwiches, crispy chicken strips or juicy fried chicken baskets... plus side dishes like potato salad and jalapeño slaw. Early-morning buzzer-beaters are invited to enjoy a breakfast of classics like chicken biscuits, a three-cheese omelet or our biscuit/egg combo featuring bacon or sausage. Snoozers are invited, too — breakfast is served until 3!

Seafood Shack

A good seafood dish… mmm, quite the catch. However you like yours — roll, bowl or platter — Seafood Shack ™ is Carnival Jubilee's place for you to cast your net. Imagine a seaside spot in New England, where the locals gather for great meals served with a bit of a breeze and a lot of a view. (That said, nowhere on land will you get 360-degree ocean views like ours!) Look to Seafood Shack for rustic favorites like Crab Cake Sliders, Lobster BLT, Fried Buffalo Shrimp, Snow Crab and more. Steer a course for Carnival Jubilee ™ ... that’s where you’ll find this little shack by the sea, wherever in the world you happen to be!

EVEN ⇨ MORE ⇨ FLAVOR ⇨ THIS ⇨ WAY ⇨

NEXT-LEVEL FUN IS A REALLY RELAXABLE ROOM

Carnival Jubilee™ has staterooms made to fit you, your family, your style of cruising. You can thank us at the end of a long day’s fun!

STATEROOM DESIGN

Design is more than just the way things look — it's as much about how they work. And staterooms aboard Carnival Jubilee ™ are packed with innovative changes to both. It's the way the ring-lit vanity mirror lights you evenly and shadow-free as you get ready. How the ottoman cushion flips over to serve as an extra table. And even those reading lights, recessed into the wall so you can read in bed without waking anyone! These details are really more than just details. Better comfort, lighting and storage all spring from a deep understanding we've developed around how people actually use their staterooms… and how small changes to the room add up to make the experience that much better. (Enough USB charging ports for everybody’s stuff? Oh yes!) Thoughtful, guest-centric design is how we do it… and all this in-room convenience comes paired with a fresh new look.

Havana Staterooms & Suites

Consider your Havana stateroom or suite your own island resort aboard Carnival Jubilee ™ . Most important is the exclusive location: near the Havana Bar & Pool. This relaxation pool is your members-only spot, and the bar's a fun-for-all hotspot when the sun goes down. Indoors, all Havana staterooms feature a unique décor, but step up to a Havana Cabana for an extra-large outdoor chill space. Step into a Havana Cabana suite for even more space, plus a luxurious rain shower. (All Havana stateroom guests must be 12 or older.)

Cloud 9 Spa Staterooms & Suites

Cloud 9 Spa ™ staterooms on Carnival Jubilee ™ feature exclusive décor and in-room amenities to help soothe you after a long day’s fun — spa bathrobes and slippers, plus toiletries by Elemis. Book one of these staterooms and enjoy priority spa reservations, unlimited access to the thermal suites, free fitness classes, exclusive discounts and more! And you can have comfort and value — Carnival Jubilee's got a full range of Cloud 9 staterooms in all sizes, from cozy Interiors to stretch-out Suites.

Family Harbor Staterooms & Suites

Family Harbor staterooms, with their unique nautical décor, can be found near Carnival Jubilee ™ own Family Harbor Lounge — an exclusive spot with breakfast, snacks during the day, plus board games, family movies, video games and more. The benefits don’t end there — your little girls and boys eat free in most onboard specialty restaurants and get a free evening of Night Owls babysitting service, so you can enjoy a little alone time.

Interior Staterooms

Here’s the most affordable way to experience Carnival Jubilee ™ , without cutting even a single corner in the comfort department. With an Interior stateroom you’ll get a full private bathroom, your choice of bed size and layout — covered in linens you can feel at home in — all of which make this truly a great spot for curling up after a long day’s fun.

Ocean View Staterooms

These comfy rooms with a view let you take in the scenery as you sail toward your beautiful destinations. And how about those views? Nowhere on land will you find anything like ‘em. But the views aren’t all that matters here — Ocean View staterooms on Carnival Jubilee ™ are a little bit bigger than Interior rooms and most feature a supremely loungeable couch for those times when neither lying nor standing will do.

Balcony Staterooms

Balcony staterooms are proof that while it’s great to be cruisey… on vacation, breeziness is a virtue too. And any time you’re in your well-appointed Balcony stateroom aboard Carnival Jubilee ™ , you’re just steps away from the outdoors by way of your private open-air oasis. Designed for kicking back al fresco, you’re in for some amazing ocean views… views so stunning you’ll just have to feel ‘em to believe ‘em.

Get all the comforts of home, and even a few extras. Since your huge Suite on Carnival Jubilee ™ affords you VIP status, you're in the priority line when getting on and off the ship… plus Suites come with exclusive perks! (Carnival Excel Suites pack even more, like concierge service and access to Loft 19™.) A Suite is the ultimate way to enjoy the ship, and the extra comfort definitely goes a long way, with more room to put your feet up or stretch out on the extra-large balcony.

Loft 19 ™ was designed to afford you a unique opportunity for relaxation and indulgence. This retreat-style space invites you to soak up the sun all day from the comfort of a lounge chair or infinity whirlpool. This pairs so perfectly with Carnival Excel suites that staying in one actually gets you Loft 19 access! Drink service is always close at hand, plus you can even opt for a little private time — renting a cabana gets you more than just a place in the shade, but extras like fresh fruit, chilled towels, lunch delivery and concierge service. (Cabana rentals are open to everyone, though guests in Carnival Excel-level suites enjoy priority reservations.)

Just got back from a five day cruise. This was our 20th on Carnival. This was probably the smoothest getting on and off the ship of all of them. The crew was and is always fantastic and super friendly and will go out of their way to make the guest happy. The rooms are typical for a cruise ship but meet our needs. The food was very good. Guys burger is always a hit. Blue iguana tacos were great and I can't believe this is the first time I have tried them. It won't be my last. The buffet was more hits than misses. Loved the midnight chicken nuggets. The pizza was good but the lines kept me from more slices. The main dining room was good but is missing a few choices from last cruise. The only disappointing food option imo was the steak house. My Ribeye was very tuff and that was a disappointment. Everything else we tried was very good. The casino was very nice and run well. The staff were very friendly and knew what they were doing. All in all it was a great cruise.

This review is overdue. It slipped my mind to leave a review for a cruise. My first cruise since covid was from Saturday, 01-21-23 through Thursday, 01-26-23. Freedom was an older ship, but it was still an enjoyable experience. While my room attendant was nice, he'd sometimes leave a rag behind. There was also something left on the space near the mirror. It was like that on day one. I wasn't sure if it was leftover from the last cruisers or something old that wasn't coming off. He did leave a nice message on the mirror for my birthday. The food was decent. The wait staff at dinner was great. I met a birthday twin at dinner. I did a non-Carnival 4-wheeler excursion in the Dominican Republic. I didn't leave the ship in Turks & Caicos. I enjoyed a discounted spa treatment. I am a gold member of the VIFP Club.

Oh Lawd She Comin' And by "she", I mean me. With any business transaction, it doesn't matter how great everything is, if you leave the customer with a bad taste in their mouth. My experience with Carnival Freedom was excellent 4 out of 5 days of the cruise, but on the last day- they made me so mad I was sweating. On our first fun day at sea I was all over the ship, enjoying the many activities they have going on. I was in line for a free charm bracelet give away and a tray of rum samples came by, followed by a nice young man with a menu of liquor being sold on ship- duty free- for pick up at the end of the cruise. I declined the menu and said we always shop the liquor the last night of the cruise. That charming, young man told me I shouldn't wait because they sell out of things! Noted. I accepted the menu and later that night found myself with John, in the store. So this is day 2 of the cruise. There is a giant bottle of Bacardi Silver on the counter by the register. Like, obnoxiously big- I had never seen a bottle like this and John and I agreed to buy it as a gift for my mom- her mixing rum of choice is Bacardi Silver! Fast forward to the last morning of the cruise, we are pulling into port and you have a 2 hour window to pick up your liquor purchases. I had bought 2 bottles, the Bacardi and a bottle of Woodford Reserve. The checklist only had us down for one bottle pickup. Um, wait- here is my receipt! 20 minutes later, the girl came out to inform me I had been refunded and said someone should have talked to me...???!!! No- why would I wait 20 minutes for you to look for a bottle if anyone had talked to me. Apparently the double sold the bottle and refunded me. BUT- here's the best part, I had seen the bottle still on the counter the day before and wondered how many bottles they had!!! ONE! The one I bought days ago- that no one boxed up, that they refunded me INSTEAD of the person who bought it second. And I said as much to the girl. I knew it wasn't her fault- she was just delivering the bad news, so I walked away before I made a bigger scene, but I was pissed. I was so mad- I got physically hot! I was mad hours, until we disembarked and then I finally started to cool off. The man who was next to me in line for pick up saw me a little while later and told me he was mad on my behalf. That made me feel a little better- because I was feeling crazy angry. John and split off to another part of the ship for our other liquor purchases made in the DR- and he had our room charges receipt. They did in fact refund us for the bottle, and I was right- the refunded us the day before. All of the wonderful parts of the cruise were crushed in a moment of pissing me off just before the end of my vacation. The cleaning crew for our room- ah-mazing, dining room staff, wonderful. Entertainment- fantastic. Spa, Serenity Deck. bar staff across the ship. All fantastic. Shout out to Nancee- our lead for our housekeeping team. Our first couple nights in the dining room- Indrawan, Pema & Darwin!!! I wish I had you all week- you knew my food allergy and my preferences and I adored the care you took in all our interactions! The spa manager, her team including Joy and Michelle were both wonderful! The entire cast for the shows- spectacular and Morgan, I wish we had discovered you before the last night!!! Robbie- the bartender ont he Serenity deck, thank you for great service and the Alchemy Bar was the BEST every single day!!! You were all FIVE STARS. Bye Ya'll! in the words of our Cruise Director!

The cruise itself was great. I would recommend. Really nice employees, great service, enough to do. The only complaint I have is how old and raggedy the rooms are. I get it, you're not on a cruise to be in the room but still. This has to be the original set up from the 60s. Very old and dated. The bathroom was nasty! Toilet was dirty urine caked on the toilet that clearly has not been cleaned in God knows how long, shower also nasty hair and stains on the shower wall and the shower curtain was literally dirty with mold/rust spots on it. Really creeped me out. To top it all off, the toilet or the bathroom sink had a horrible odor. And the room is tiny, so the smell permeates through the room. I wasted all the air freshener I brought and some perfume trying to mask it. Horrible. I carried my own sheets and I am glad I did. Even when I was speaking to housekeeping, I mentioned packing my own sheets to one of the housekeeping ladies, and she agreed that was good/smart without saying why or too much. The bit of counter space we had was dusty literally white glove thick finger swipe dusty all around especially around the tv. I had the wipe it all down with Lysol wipes. The food on the boat is decent but it's alot of junk fast food and you never seem to get full even though it's all you eat. The crew keeps everything outside the rooms clean. One night around 1:30am I saw them wiping down the pool, and even cleaning the dining hall lamps. But those rooms, they care nothing about. We went on the Carnival Freedom cruise to the Bahamas for a family trip. Our group of 16 rented several rooms and they were all the same. Old, and not clean. We did have a balcony which was nice but it was also old, rusted. We had a weird pipe spewing water on the balcony which was annoying. We had to move the chairs to the far right which blocked the door, just to avoid getting wet by that water which we had no idea if the source was clean or dirty water. This review would be 5 stars overall but I cannot overlook the condition of the rooms. They make millions! Not sure the cost to renovate a cruise ship of that magnitude, but they only need to do the rooms. The rest of the ship is fine. Highlights of the bought: jacuzzis in the adult only Serenity section, 70s club, fitness center, breakfast French toast, duty free alcohol cost, and the Seafood Shack food spot that requires additional payment not included in all you can eat.

We had a lovely time on this ship but there are definitely positive and negatives. It's an older ship so you won't necessarily get all the fancy frills people are getting used to. Service was pretty great, much better than my MSC miravaglia experience in February. Our room steward Papas was fantastic and brought us ice daily, the blue fuzzy blanket when I remembered and greeted us warmly and with care every time we ran in to him. We had decent experiences at most of the bars and those staff who weren't warm and fuzzy were at the very least efficient. The food was meh in the buffet and dining room. Pizza Pirate was great, Blue Iguana tacos were delicious, and Guy's Burgers were terrific. Swirls soft serve was ok. I will sail with Carnival again, but doubtful on this boat again as it was rockier than I have previously experienced on other ships. Thank goodness for my doctor & scopalamine patches or my very sensitive motion sickness would have ruined my trip due to the ship movement.

We sailed on the Carnival Freedom. 01/15-01/20/24 We've had the worst experience Saling with Carnival Freedom. It was a surprise Cruise for our daughter's 25th birthday. I notified the agent when booking it was her birthday on the 15th. Carnival's employee placed our luggage on the wrong ship (Royal). We were on this cruise with none of our essentials or clothing. Christina cried the first 2 nights which is unacceptable. I am totally disgusted in how this life changing situation was handled by Carnival Assistant Supervisor Oris. She had the worst attitude and customer service I've ever experienced. No remorse or empathy for us not having our luggage or Christina's medication. We became irate when she accused us of losing our luggage. How is it possible if we handed it to Carnival's staff? We should be fully refunded for all purchases regarding clothes. There should be some sought of a voucher given for the entirety of this trip. We couldn't go to any of our dinners (Dining Room) or most other events. We were given six t-shirts, free laundry services and a 20% off coupon at the gift shop. The Gift shop by the way had limited options. We weren't aware the insurance purchased was separate and would need to file a claim upon arriving back home. This policy should be reviewed and changed. There needs to be some way to handle a situation like this by Guest Services onboard. Natasha and Tiffany are a few employees who showed some kind of empathy. I appreciate each one of them. Natasha- checked on of us daily Tiffany- went out of her way and purchased my daughter's underwear, delivered them to our room Ultima- delivered personal items to my daughter personally D (Dewa)- our stateroom attendant was very sympathetic and did an awesome job! By the way the only thing we received from Carnival is an email apologizing no compensation or voucher........ THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU SPENDING YOUR MONEY WITH CARNIVAL CRUISE LINE

Photo of Brenda M.

First time back on a cruise ship since the pandemic. Have cruised with Carnival in the past and this was by far the worst trip. Lots of misinformation on how things operate. Improper delivery of pre-ordered cabin gifts to others in our party, credit and rebilling of prepaid spa services to be able to add gratuity on "original" price, and when cancelling an item paid with a gift card they refund on a new gift card that is sent in the mail rather than just crediting sail account. Only saving grace on this cruise was our amazing room steward I Ketut! Even the food was less than desirable compared to precious cruises. Will definitely reach out to the main office. By the way, still sitting on the boat on debarkation day because their idea of dismissing has no rhyme or reason. Supposed to be muster stations then luggage tags but of course they changed that and now people are leaving Helter skelter because we are all upset. They should send those people into the theater of those.of us that follow directions suffer the most.

20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now

Will there be a selling the oc season 3 reunion, 90 day fiancé: photos that prove liz woods is thriving after big ed split.

  • Below Deck franchise continues to dominate TV screens in 2024 with new seasons, spin-offs, and drama-filled adventures for fans.
  • Expect delays in the airing schedule for Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 due to misconduct allegations against crew member Gary King.
  • Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 is set to premiere on June 3, offering viewers thrilling drama, eccentric guests, and new challenges.

The multiple shows in the Below Deck franchise will air in the 2024 TV airing cycle; however, the schedule has changed from what fans became accustomed to in recent years. When the Original (OG) Below Deck show premiered in 2013, the reality series quickly became one of the best shows of the year. Below Deck 's unique premise of detailing the lives of crew members on a yacht during a charter season drew in an impressive 1.4 million viewers per episode.

Unsurprisingly, Below Deck quickly spurned multiple spin-offs, including Below Deck Mediterranean , Below Deck Sailing Yacht , Below Deck Down Under , and Below Deck Adventure , most of which became equally successful as the OG show. The 2024 TV airing cycle for shows in the franchise kicked off with the Below Deck season 11 premiere on February 5, 2024. Still, fans wouldn't have to wait that long as another show is lined up to premiere just weeks after the finale.

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 Is Delayed

The new bdsy season won’t air for a while..

After months of anticipation, Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans will have to wait a bit longer for season 5 to premiere, with emerging reports that Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 will take its spot in the 2024 TV airing schedule. Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 was expected to air after the OG Below Deck season 11 runs its course come June, but that has changed. According to reports, the new Below Deck Sailing Yacht season may have been delayed due to crew member Gary King, who was accused of misconduct during Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4.

A makeup artist who also worked on the show, Samantha Suarez, accused Gary of making inappropriate moves on her in a hotel room. Although Gary came out to deny the allegations, producers may edit Gary out of the new season or cancel it altogether. While the Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew has been dropping hints about filming another season in the past couple of months, in addition to some on-set leaked pictures, there have been no reports of an official casting or an airing date for Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5.

Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9 Is Next

Fans will be getting a lot of below deck med.

Below Deck Mediterranean will return to the screens for its ninth season on June 3 , just five months after the season 8 finale. Since its debut, Below Deck Med has brought in substantial viewership numbers and the ratings for season 8 were also impressive. Below Deck Med season 8 featured all the traits that have made the show a favorite in recent years, with love triangles, an early exit, and fiery crew drama. Still, Captain Sandy Yawn will once again return to the helm of the yacht Mystique as she and her crew cruise through Athens, Greece.

Aesha Scott will return to Below Deck Med Season 9 as Chief Stew after her previous stint on the show as Second Stew during Season 4. Elena Dubaich will also return to the show as a stew after filling in for former crew member Kyle Viljoen during Below Deck Med season 7. According to the preview, Below Deck Med season 9 is set to be another dramatic season featuring strange guests and never-before medical and mechanical issues.

When Will Below Deck Down Under Season 3 Air?

Below deck down under’s return date is still unknown.

Since its debut, Below Deck Down Under has become a fan favorite, and after the dramatic events of season 2, the show has been renewed for a third season (via Premiere Date ). However, despite its renewal announcement, the premiere date of the new season has not been announced yet . The last two seasons of the show premiered during the Winter TV schedule, but that changed in 2024. Under the direction of Captain Jason Chambers, Below Deck Down Under crew members have been praised for positively portraying their personal lives and challenges faced during a charter season.

However, that almost changed during season 2 when bosun Luke Jones climbed into the third stew Margot Sisson's bed absolutely naked. Second stew Laura Bileskalne also entered deckhand Adam Kodra's room despite his protest, climbed into his bed without consent, and attempted to give him a massage before producers kicked her out. Luke and Laura were immediately fired by Captain Jason , who later revealed NBC and Bravo would put some new guidelines in place to prevent similar events from occurring (via Yahoo! ).

When Will Below Deck Season 12 Premiere?

New season of below deck is already in production.

The OG Below Deck returned to the screens for a historic eleventh season on February 5, 2024. With Captain Kerry Titheradge taking over at the helm after Captain Lee Rosbach's exit, the show has been delivering on its promise of another drama-filled adventure with just two episodes left before its May 20 finale. Nonetheless, Below Deck seems to have been renewed for its twelfth season after fans spotted Captain Kerry piloting the St. David on Simpson Bay Bridge in Sint Maarten.

Alongside Captain Kerry, who waved at photographers, fans also spotted Sunny Marquis, which indicated the filming of Below Deck season 12 was truly underway . Still, there haven't been any official announcements about when Below Deck season 12 will premiere, but the debut will definitely take some time, considering the crew is currently filming. However, with several Below Deck spin-offs lined up to premiere during the coming months, fans might have to wait till early 2025 before the OG show returns to the screens.

What Happened To Below Deck Adventure?

Below deck adventure might be getting the axe.

Below Deck Adventure premiered in 2022, promising to be another standout spin-off; however, the show failed to meet the high expectations both fans and the producers had set for it. For one, the show's cast hugely underperformed, with deckhand Kyle Dickard being fired after just three episodes. Meanwhile, Chief Stew Faye was criticized for being too bossy , and fans found Chef Jessica Condy's drama with crew mates unnecessary. Due to how unimpressive the first couple of episodes were, ratings for Below Deck Adventure plummeted and didn't recover for the rest of the season.

Since the season 1 finale, no new information has been released about Below Deck Adventure, and there are signs the show might not be getting another season.

Since the season 1 finale, no new information has been released about Below Deck Adventure , and there are signs the show might not be getting another season. Captain Kerry Titheradge, one of the standouts of the debut season, has been moved on to the OG Below Deck show. While other shows in the franchise have aired at least once, there has been no space for Below Deck Adventure in the yearly TV schedule , and it looks like it might be the first show in the franchise to be canceled.

Below Deck airs Monday at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo, then streams the following day on Peacock.

Sources: Premiere Date , Yahoo!

Below Deck is a popular reality TV franchise that focuses on a group of crew members as they work on luxurious yachts and cater to their client's needs. After the original series proved to be a success, Bravo developed a handful of spinoff shows including Below Deck Selling Yacht, Below Deck Adventure, Below Deck Down Under, and Below Deck Mediterranean.
