WASSUP DTB! I’m Alex Aiono :)

I’ve already been so lucky to share the stage with incredible artists and play in shows and festivals alongside amazing performers, but there are still so many others I’d die to play shows with. So here we go!

First off, it’s gotta be The 1975. When I was touring Europe on the FUN23 tour, my lighting director was also prepping for the upcoming 1975 tour. I remember him telling me how amazing the new show was going to be, adding to how electrifying I knew they already are live. To be able to play a tour with them would be absolutely unreal!

Next up, I’m going to have to give it to one of my favorite artists and biggest inspirations, Jon Bellion. I’ve been extremely fortunate to have been able to write with Jon and even interview him during my time as a radio host, but I unfortunately still haven’t had the chance to see him perform live! We share a tour manager and my sisters even flew out to one of his shows in the Midwest and said he is incredible. His ability to capture a crowd and conduct them like they are a part of an orchestra is unmatched. You can see it from his videos on YouTube! Jon would absolutely be a part of my dream tour.

Last, but not least! – I want to turn back the clock to my very first concert and bring back the full force of the original Black Eyed Peas! As a 9-year-old kid, I remember not being able to stop smiling as I watched this supergroup give their everything to the stage and the crowd. They performed hit after hit (including “My Humps” which was the first time I heard it because my parents wouldn’t let me listen to it at home, LOL), Their live show remains such a wonderful memory and had a major influence on me.

I don’t know about you… but a tour with The 1975, Jon Bellion, Black Eyed Peas, and myself sounds UNREAL!!! What do you think?

Alex Aiono Reveals The Inspiration Behind Breakup Ballad ‘Unloving You’ & Reflects On ‘Best Tour’ Yet

Alex Aiono has been hitting stages nationwide on the '#Fun23' tour but as the trek comes to a close, the singer promises there's 'much more' excitement ahead!

It’s Alex Aiono’s year and that’s a fact. The 23-year-old singer-songwriter may have gotten his start by way of covering songs on YouTube, but these days, it’s the original tunes that he has written, which are propelling him to stardom. The talented musician just wrapped up a nationwide tour where he dazzled audiences across the country with songs both old and new! Now, as he embarks on his next chapter, he took a few minutes to reflect on his all-star year in an EXCLUSIVE interview with HollywoodLife .

“It’s bittersweet,” Alex says of his tour which is coming to a close. “I’m happy that the intense amount of focus and drive and waking up early and going to bed late and burning the midnight oil, I’m very happy that that’s over, but at the same time getting to finish the show in New York City and seeing how amazing the crowd was and how amazing the crowds have been this whole time — it sucks that I don’t get to keep on playing this show. I don’t feel like I’m ready to finish,” he told us the day after the tour wrapped on June 26.

Aiono fans who flocked to his tour shows were in for a treat, especially thanks to his latest single, “Unloving You.” For Alex, the breakup ballad was penned about a romance that was all too real. “Man, it was really me and one of my closest friends, and we were sitting in a hotel room,” Alex explains. “I had just been in this funk of not being able to get over this girl, and we were sitting in a hotel room, and we just kind of started breaking out guitars and writing about how I actually felt at the time. When we played it from start to finish…we were both were choked up and we knew that it was special.”

As fans know, the track received a corresponding music video, which featured a familiar face – American actress and social media superstar Andrea Russett, 24, who was tapped for the clip. Alex says she couldn’t have been a better fit. “When my team asked me about who I thought should play the love interest in the video, my first thought was Andrea for multiple reasons. One, because everybody was already speculating and starting to put us together, but on top of that — Andrea’s also a public influencer. She’s gone that route. She lived the story that is the music video, and I’ve also lived the story that is the music video,” Alex describes for us, the moving visuals in which a budding relationship is portrayed in a series of texts, Snapchats, and Facetimes –a clear nod to the way the digital age has shaped modern day romance. “It hit home for both of us,” Alex said about making the video with Andrea. “The story got told even better than we thought it would!”

As if the past six months haven’t been impressive enough, Alex teased more about what will come in the year ahead and added that he’s cooking up a few things that fans would never expect from him! “This has been my favorite tour, my best tour, best outcome, best fans, best time of my life, and it’s still not going to be the end of 2019. We have so much more coming, music and stuff you would never even expect me to do. It’s going to be absolutely insane,” he teased.

So great to be a part of witnessing this artist's embarking on a new journey of his singing/producing/performing career. He mentioned how 12 months ago he was pondering the next steps of his career and how today he's traveling across countries to do what he loves most.

(For those who don't know, Will Singe was in a boy band called The Collective, which was formed through the Australian X Factor show, and he left in early 2015. Eventually the rest of The Collective disbanded later in the year, while Will Singe was blowing up YouTube and Facebook with self-produced covers of pop music adding his particular style/arrangement infused with hip-hop, rap, r&b, and soul.

I first caught wind of his talent virally on Facebook, as his cover of Michael Jackson's Rock With You was circulating in March 2015. My family became instant fans. Will clearly has a gift he's been able to hone and push, sticking to his passion and wooing fans with his falsetto range and riding beats. His signature is shooting out videos made in a bedroom equipped with computer/studio components, keyboard, and guitars. People pay attention each time a new still shot of that blue wall and big microphone comes out, generating thousands of likes in just minutes of its posting.

San Francisco clearly displayed this artist's loyal fan-base in being one of the fastest sold out venues of the tour. He will need larger than a 600 max capacity next time he flies 30 hours from Australia to entertain his Golden State guests. I would attend anywhere in Northern or Central CA.

The William Singe & Alex Aiono concert at Playstation Theater in NYC was beyond amazing! I'm not just saying that because I'm a fan of them both, but because they're both so genuinely talented and inspirational it's actually insane. I am so glad that my best friend and I were able to go; I had a raging fever the night prior to this event, there was snow everywhere and it was freezing! But these guys are pretty damn special, and their success is imminent; therefore, I HAD to be there to witness the "early" stages of their career.

While they're performing, you can practically touch their energy, and their passion because it just seeps out of them with every line they sing. I am definitely going to more of their shows, and I am waiting very, very patiently for their original content (which we got a glimpse of on Friday!).

Their kind of talent isn't taught, or faked; you can tell that they live and breathe what they do! I am extremely excited for them and for their success to skyrocket because they'll be proving all of their "haters" wrong, but more importantly, they'll be proving all of their supporters that believing in oneself and hard work is all you need to be whoever you want to be.

I had a really great time at the concert. The DJ was on point and was able to get the crowd hyped. There were some technical difficulties with a wire that kept interrupting the show, but outside of that it was fun.

I have been following William for 2 years now and to be able to see him perform live was great. you can tell he is a new artist and still working on performing- but he did good.

I would suggest having light on him every now and then to show the artist. it was all lights in the background and was only a silhouette that i was able to make out during the whole concert.

other than that, i had a blast and i can't wait to see how he grows as an artist. :)

Whats not to love about this guy. First, the line wrapped around the venue. So get there early if you want to get a good view if there isn't assigned seating. Awesome artist as seen in his videos. Vocals & stage presence are A1 live which I'm glad about. The dj which is Singe's manager really had the crowd hyped prior to the show. Majority of the concert were his covers which wasn't all that exciting but he did sing a few originals which I really enjoyed. Overall, the concert was enjoyable & him being eye candy is definitely a bonus!Aloha ❤

This was my first concert to watch any famous singer EVER and my first experience was AMAZING!!! The Changes Tour concert was the most amazing show ever and I had the night of my life. Will (and Alex) did such an amazing job. The singing was on point, the DJ was jamming out stuff, and everyone was just LIT and ready to throw it down. I went on April 7, 2017. What an unforgettable night! I really hope this wonʻt be the last time Iʻll be seeing Will and Alex at The Republik

This concert was amazing! Definitely worth the money and both Will and Alex did an outstanding job! Every concert I go to usually is not very long and the headliner usually only performs like 7 or 8 songs but both Will and Alex went above and beyond! The only thing I can say is I wish the meet and greet tickets were lower but other than that it was perfect! Can't wait to go again one day and possibly get a meet and greet ticket instead of a regular ticket.

Will Singe and Alex Aiono on Changes tour Detroit was one of the best nights of my life. Meet and greet was amazing. They're so sweet and nice. If your choosing to go to his concerts GO!! It is definitely worth it. He puts on an amazing show. And so does Alex. It was amazing. 10000x ⭐️ I love him so much. Go to his concerts u will really enjoy it ❤

It was a great show. William and Alex did awesome. It was my daughters first concert plus she loves William he's her love. Lol.... we can't wait for him and Alex to come back. Looking forward to another great concert.

Honestly the best night of my life, he was soo good. Dylan Rass, Julian and Silas were also really good and were happy to take photos. definitely going again next year.

'911: Lone Star' and 'Accused' will anchor two nights of the network's week after taking this season off.

After airing only two drama series for all of the 2023-24 season, Fox is planning to double that number in the fall.

The early part of the week will be anchored by two shows that took the 2023-24 season off. Fox’s longest-running current drama, 911: Lone Star , will lead into newcomer Rescue: Hi-Surf , executive produced by John Wells, on Mondays. On Tuesdays, season two of the courtroom anthology Accused will lead the night, followed by another first-year show, Murder in a Small Town , a co-production between Fox Entertainment, Canada’s Sepia Films and Future Shack Entertainment.

Rescue: Hi-Surf will also get the high-profile slot following the Super Bowl, which Fox will broadcast on Feb. 9, 2025.

The Rob Lowe-hosted game show The Floor , which scored a two-season pickup , will pair with The Masked Singer on Wednesday nights (and will also be the second show fronted by Lowe, who also stars in 911: Lone Star , on Fox this fall). New seasons of Hell’s Kitchen and Special Forces: World’s Toughest Tes will run on Thursdays. With WWE Smackdown leaving Fox for USA in September, Fox will feature college football on Friday nights in the fall, with college basketball and United Football League games following later in the season.

Sunday will, as usual, feature animated comedies led by The Simpsons , which is entering its 36th season in 2024-25. New series Universal Basic Guys — which Fox has renewed for a second season, following a pattern of early pickups for its newer animated shows — will follow at 8:30 p.m. Bob’s Burgers and Krapopolis will close out the night. Notably missing from the Sunday lineup is Family Guy , which will return later in the season.
