Travel Trailers

If you are looking for the perfect bumper pull style trailer to fit your lifestyle, look no further than our custom Travel Trailers. Travel trailers are our least sought-after platform as most of our customers are full-time users and the travel trailer platform offers the least amount of storage of our three platforms. Our custom welded steel chassis also equates to more weight, which sets us apart from other travel trailer options and typically requires at least a one-ton dual rear wheel pickup as a tow vehicle.

That said, they are still the highest quality in the industry and offer some of the best options available. Most customers end up transitioning to a hybrid version of a travel trailer that includes a basement and is basically a bumper pull 5 th wheel.

What? Why is there no door on the side of the XRD?  Because a XRD, or Rear Door, allows you to take hard to haul items with you.  Do you need to fit long items in your camper, maybe a canoe or other long items.  If so this is the camper for you and your hobbies.

Do you want an affordable option when it comes to your custom trailer needs.  Whether you need to transport your pet for a show or event, need an ice cream trailer, or if you just want to customize your camper the way you want it, we can do that.  GIve us a call toady to place your order.  All custom trailers are prepay only.

The XSD, or side door, has quickly become one of our most popular campers.  While it sleeps 4 comfortably, is also only weighs 2200lbs. and can be towed by a lot of smaller vehicles.  This is a great camper for a small family to a retired couple and everyone in-between.

This little camper is a great value.  It comes with many options and layouts so you can decide what works best for you and your needs.  We customize campers for you our customer.  That is something that is not heard of in our industry.  This is a camper that was used at tailgating parties for High School Games.

I researched different makes and models. Talked to people in RV parks, and read online blogs by RV owners. I especially did research on true 4-season builds/RV’s. And customer support, factory response, and satisfaction. And New Horizons was an obvious fit for quality and customer service.

We both recently retired and wanted a simpler life of RVing. With going full time we wanted to customize our coach. While also wanting a high end, quality fifth wheel. So that traveling through the US was as comfortable as ever. And New Horizons fit that bill perfectly.

We placed our order in December 2020. The common thread through my RV life is buying products, where the company building the products feels like family. Anytime I needed service, I usually drove to the factory. The techs, managers, and everyone else I met there, became dear friends. And the same feeling was clear when I took factory tours at New Horizons. There was pride in the work being done. So choosing New Horizons was a pretty easy decision.

We needed a unit that could go over the railroad tracks 6,000 times. We needed a rig to travel the country and be our sole home. Finding a “Pre-Owned” unit was like hitting the jackpot, and got our feet wet. We are now better informed as to what will and won’t work for us comfortably. And now we wake up feeling at home in our HOME, not a camper.

New Horizons Orientation

Being completely new to all this, we have had so much help from New Horizons owners, RVers in general, the entire New Horizons staff, and just random people throughout all the research that brought us to this point.

We spent an entire week going over our New Horizons and asked a million questions and did all the things that everyone tells you to do in the beginning. These units are extremely high quality with very complex components and systems so learning all of it is a challenge. I definitely have a newfound respect for all the folks who participate in making these RVs become a reality from the ground up.

When you walk into your new home and see what it has become after seeing pictures of steel, wheels, wires, plumbing, cabinets, etc., it is absolutely stunning to see the finished product. So now we’ve completed the orientation in our rig and are anxiously awaiting the completion of our truck upfitting so that we can begin our travels in our New Horizons home.

We especially appreciate the quality workmanship of every production worker from the welding shop, to lamination, to cabinetry, to final finish and everyone in between.
