There are two major routes to traverse from Pune to Kerala – NH48 and NH50.

• NH48 (1,309km / 20 Hours):

Starting from Pune, this exciting journey will take you through Satara and Kohlapur in Maharashtra, and will be followed by Belagavi and Davangere in Karnataka. Advancing further, the journey will pass through Tumakuru and Bangalore before taking you through Hosur in Tamil Nadu. From Hosur, the journey will continue through Salem and will continue through NH48 till you reach Kerala.

• NH50 (1,155km / 23 Hours):

This journey will follow the NH50 from Pune, and will directly bring you to Solapur in Maharashtra. After crossing Solapur, it will head towards Zalki in Karnataka and will continue towards the Bijapur Road and will bring you to Ilkal in Karnataka. The last stretch of this journey will take you through Mysore and will later be followed by Bandipur National Park, Mudumalai National Park and New Amarabalam Wildlife Sanctuary before your reach Kerala – the Spice Capital of India.

NOTE: You can also reach Kerala from Pune through NH48-NH50 (1,123km / 20 Hours).
