Chiudete le porte, preparate l’aglio, perché i vampiri stanno arrivando!"   Joe Perry ha aggiunto: “La prossima estate sarà finalmente tempo per gli Hollywood Vampires di risorgere! A tutti allora… ricordate, lasciate l'aglio a casa!”   Gli Hollywood Vampires si sono riuniti per la prima volta per registrare nel 2015, unendo l'amore condiviso per le loro canzoni preferite e il desiderio di celebrare i loro "amici morti e ubriachi" suonando la musica degli eroi caduti. Prende il nome dal locale di Alice degli anni '70 che includeva artisti del calibro di John Lennon, Keith Moon e Mickey Dolenz, esibizioni leggendarie seguirono in tutto il mondo.   Con classici di artisti del calibro di The Doors, Love, AC/DC e altri, oltre ovviamente ai successi di Alice e Aerosmith, gli Hollywood Vampires sono stati votati come "miglior performance" del 2018 alla Wembley Arena di Londra nel loro ultimo viaggio nel Regno Unito.   L'album di 16 tracce "Rise", prodotto da Tommy Henriksen e gli Hollywood Vampires, è uno degli album rock and roll più puri, impenitenti e divertenti degli ultimi tempi, realizzato da maestri del mestiere e veri fan della forma. A differenza del loro disco di debutto del 2015, il secondo album è composto principalmente da materiale originale, scritto dalla band. Ci sono, tuttavia, nello spirito della missione originale dei Vampires, tre cover di canzoni originariamente scritte e registrate da leggendari rocker morti troppo giovani.

Johnny Depp and rock band Hollywood Vampires announce 2023 tour of Europe

While his Hollywood plans may be up in the air after his defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard, Johnny Depp knows exactly what he’s doing next summer. He’s going on a tour of Europe with his rock band, the Hollywood Vampires.

The “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor will rejoin bandmates and rock personalities Joe Perry, Alice Cooper and Tommy Henriksen for their upcoming summer 2023 gigs in Germany and Luxembourg.

“The Hollywood Vampires are BACK!!” the band’s official Instagram posted on Wednesday.

According to the social media post, the four-person band will play six shows throughout the month of June next summer. The first show will be in Oberhausen, Germany, at the Rudolf Weber-Arena on June 20, 2023. The post also teases that fans should “keep an eye out for more to come...”

The Hollywood Vampires will hit the road nearly three years after canceling their European summer tour twice due to COVID-19. The Europe shows were initially slated for 2020 but rescheduled to 2021 due to COVID-related safety concerns. Then in 2021, the band revealed via social media posts that it would reschedule its 2021 tour due to COVID-19 traveling restrictions.

The news of the group’s upcoming tour dates comes just weeks after Depp won approximately $10.4 million in the contentious defamation trial against ex-wife Heard. The trial, which came to a close earlier this month after six weeks, also saw jurors award Heard $2 million in damages.

The two collaborated on the upcoming single “This Is a Song for Miss Hedy Lamarr.” In 2020, Beck and Depp also released a cover of John Lennon’s “Isolation.”

Johnny Depp is headed to Europe for an overseas tour with his band Hollywood Vampires , which includes rock luminaries such as Joe Perry, Alice Cooper and Tommy Henriksen.

The supergroup had previously canceled a tour back in March because of pandemic-related obstacles. “We kept trying to make it happen, but unfortunately due to the uncertainty of COVID-19 travel restrictions, it is just not possible,” they wrote in a statement at the time.

Now, the group plans to reunite with fans in Germany and Luxembourg for a scheduled six shows. It will be quite a bit of a wait, however, as their first gig isn’t until next June at the Rudolf Weber Arena in Oberhausen, Germany. Their last show will be on June 30 at Zitadelle in Mainz, Germany.

Depp has been performing alongside Jeff Beck as a guest on his live shows — which made headlines when the actor traveled to Europe to begin performing with the legendary guitarist just prior to his trial verdict in a lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard . Depp has since joined Beck again for a run of shows in Europe until the tour wraps up on July 25 in Paris.

Beck and Depp have also collaborated on a new album, “18.” They are releasing the joint project on July 15 with the set’s first single, “This Is A Song For Miss Hedy Lamarr,” having already been released. The song, written by Depp, pays homage to American film actress Lamarr (who died in 2000 at age 85). It is one of two songs written by Depp for the project, the other one being “Sad Motherfuckin’ Parade.”

The original Depp-penned tracks are the outliers of “18,” an album otherwise made up of cover songs, some of them sung by Depp, some in fully instrumental form. In a statement, Beck said that he was “blown away” with Depp when he first shared the “Hedy Lamarr” song, three years ago. “That song is one of the reasons I asked him to make an album with me,” said Beck.

Fresh off his headline-making defamation trial ,  Johnny Depp  will be joining his  Hollywood Vampires  bandmates on a tour of Europe.

On Wednesday, the band announced its six-date run, which kicks off almost exactly one year from now. “The Hollywood Vampires are BACK!! We’re coming to Germany and Luxembourg Summer 2023! Tickets go on sale Monday 27 June at 11:00am CET. Keep an eye out for more to come…,” the group captioned the post on social media.

Depp, Alice Cooper, Joe Perry and Tommy Henriksen will kick off the tour June 20, 2023, at Rudolf-Weber Arena in Oberhausen, Germany, followed by shows in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg’s Rockhal; Olympiahalle in Munich; Stadtpark in Hamburg; Berlin’s Zitadelle Spandel; and Zitadelle Mainz in Mainz, Germany.

The embattled actor made a surprise appearance  at a Jeff Beck concert at the end of May in London, performing their 2020 John Lennon remake “Isolation” just two days after his team of lawyers made closing arguments in his bitterly contested defamation lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard . (Depp was ultimately awarded  more than $10 million in damages by the judge, while the  Aquaman  actress received just $2 million in her libel countersuit.)

Days after the show, Depp and Beck announced they’d be releasing a joint album titled  18 this summer. Due July 15, the 13-track collection will feature two originals by the onetime Captain Jack Sparrow (“Sad Motherfuckin’ Parade” and “This Is a Song for Miss Hedy Lamarr”), as well as covers of classic songs by The Beach Boys, Marvin Gaye, Janis Ian, The Velvet Underground and others.

Meanwhile, Hollywood Vampires’ most recent album was 2019’s Rise , which coincidentally also featured a guest appearance by Beck on album cut “Welcome to Bushwhackers.”

The Hollywood Vampires Announce 2018 Tour

Hollywood Vampires—the supergroup featuring Alice Cooper, Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry and actor Johnny Depp—have announced a number of tour dates for 2018.

Before embarking on a summer tour of Europe—which will run from late May through early July—the group will hit a few casinos in the Northeastern United States, with a stop at the Casino Rama Resort in Orillia, Ontario thrown in for good measure. You can check out the group's full itinerary below.

Inside Johnny Depp's Paris Concert After Amber Heard's Return to the Red Carpet in Italy (Exclusive)

Johnny Depp continued touring with his rock band The Hollywood Vampires as Amber Heard debuted her movie 'In the Fire' at the Taormina Film Festival

Johnny Depp performed a concert in Paris Sunday, one day after Amber Heard made her red carpet return at a film festival in Italy.

Depp, 60, continued his tour with his Hollywood Vampires bandmates Alice Cooper and Joe Perry with a show at the Zénith Paris on Sunday.

The actor took center stage for a chunk of the setlist to be frontman for several songs, including lead vocals on a cover of David Bowie's "Heroes."

Depp worked the crowd by waving at fans, smiling and thanking them with a fist to his heart. He was also seen tossing guitar picks to the audience throughout the night.

PEOPLE spoke to several concertgoers Sunday, including Dan, 70, and Susanne, 43, from Paris. Susanne says she "came for Johnny," and "the story of his private life didn't interest me. ... It's over. He is an artist and that's what I want to hear for myself." Dan adds that he has "hope for a big return in films" for Depp.

Phoebe, 19, from Paris says she saw The Hollywood Vampires at Hellfest earlier in the month and that inspired her to see them live again. "I know him as a pirate in movies. I didn't know he made such good music," she says of Depp.

At one point during the concert, Depp honored late friend and collaborator Jeff Beck , who died in January. In the emotional moment, Depp explained why a white Stratocaster guitar stood centerstage on a riser unused for most of the night.

"We recently, all of us, lost a dear friend, Jeff Beck. Yesterday was his birthday. I would like to introduce you to one of his friends. His best friend — his Strat," he said.

Lifting the guitar off its stand, he continued, "He would want his dear friend Joe Perry on this," and handed the guitar to Perry, 72, who performed a medley of Link Wray's "Rumble" (a song Depp and Beck played in concert) and "Beck's Bolero."

The day before Depp's Paris concert, his ex-wife Heard, 37, attended the 69th Taormina Film Festival  in Italy for the world premiere of her indie film In the Fire .

She was present for several of the festival's events during the weekend, including her movie's premiere, where she talked to PEOPLE about the film , which  finished filming back in March 2022 , months before the Virginia trial began.

"It’s a beautiful movie about the almost supernatural effect and force of love. It is about the boundaries that love can cross and its creation, and really about the overwhelming power that love has," she said. "I don’t want to sound cheesy about it, but it’s a movie about love."

Meanwhile, Depp's French movie Jeanne Du Barry opened the Cannes Film Festival in May, where he signed autographs, got standing ovations, posed on the red carpet and spoke to reporters about whether the movie marked his comeback . As he puts it, he "never went anywhere."

Jeanne Du Barry will also be screened at the Taormina Film Festival on June 30, though Depp, who plays King Louis XV in the film, isn't expected to attend.

Depp and Heard reached a settlement in their defamation case in December. She paid him $1 million, which he said will go to five different charities .

Heard, who will also be in the Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom sequel in theaters this December, previously said of the settlement : "I have made no admission. This is not an act of concession. There are no restrictions or gags with respect to my voice moving forward."

Did my Meet and Greet had a brief conversation with Johnny Depp was able to thank him for making me smile when I went through chemo treatments for a couple of years on and off. I would watch him on interviews and I would laugh at a time when laughter was not often.Johnnyis not particularly fond of interviews and promoting movies.Johnny took my hands and hugged me and kissed me on the cheek and asked is all ok now I said yes all is good ,I just wanted to thank him. THEN they moved me along. I said to Alice pleasure to meet you I have been following you like forever.Tjen came Joe I said nice to meet you and your grand daughter just turned a year old on the 11th of May he just looked at me and said what just as i wad gonna walk away he points at me and said OH YER and smiled. The concert was FREAKING AWESOME to hear Johnny finally show himself. He always said he couldn't sing unless in character. Well JOHNNY DEPP YOU BLEW ME AWAY WITH YPUR SOLO'S .FROM THE HEART SO HAPPY FOR HIM. IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE THIS IS A MUST SEE CONCERT. THE TALENT ON THE STAGE IS ABSOFUCKINGLUTLY INCREDIBLE. ♥♥♥

I bought the $1500 vip package where I got to meet the band and get front row seating and everything. I bought it cause I thought it would be sick to meet Johnny Depp. Obviously.

Well... The meet and greet started 1.5 hours later than they said It would. Then when it finaly started, we each got literally FOUR SECONDS to see the band. We had to talk as the pictures were being taken. 4 seconds no joke. And if you want to talk totem at all you risk ruining your pictures. Soooo Meet and greet sucked.

That being said, the concert itself was great. Awesome show.

It was a great show Johnny Depp was awesome, very talented! Even though Joe Perry was not present, Alice's guitar player was amazing. Excellent show and "fun" fundraising experience! I was very surprised at the extra effort band members went to to connect with the audience. I came to Phoenix from Oregon to see the Pudding Show with my family including my eleven year old son with full Alice make up. I hope to see it again next year!

They put on a great show and joe perry even came on stage for one of they're encore songs at the end. I was at the Detroit show so they made sure to perform some songs that had been written there. Amazing, would definitely see them again

The show in Denver was awesome! Alice Cooper was at his best! Joe Perry is one of the best guitar players ever! Johnny Depp did a rockin job on the song Heroes by David Bowie! Fantastic night of rock! Will go see them again!

The Hollywood vampire concert was amazing! I would go again, and again, and again if I could !!! There were so many people of different ages, some for Alice, and of course some for Johnny Dep!! It was just fantastic!

The supergroup Hollywood Vampires formed by Alice Cooper , Joe Perry (Aerosmith) and Johnny Depp announced 2023 tour dates for Germany and Luxembourg, will be their first shows since 2019. The band will be accompanied by Tommy Henriksen (Guitar – Alice Cooper), Glen Sobel (Drums – Alice Cooper), Chris Wyse (Bass) and Buck Johnson (Backing vocals, keyboardist).

The band was formed back in 2012 by Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry. The name was inspired by the celebrity drinking club formed by Cooper in the 70s at the Rainbow Bar & Grill in Los Angeles, that also had names like John Lennon, Harry Nilson, Ringo Starr, Keith Moon and Mickey Dolenz.

Other touring members that had been with the band over the years were Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses), “Robert DeLeo (Stone Temple Pilots) and Matt Sorum (Guns N’ Roses, The Cult, Velvet Revolver). They released two studio albums, the self-titled debut in 2015 and their second “Rise” in 2019. Besides celebrating classic Rock and Roll bands covering them on the setlist, the band also plays some original tracks released on the two albums.
