Coldplay Pledges to Lower Carbon Emissions on 2022 Tour

On Thursday (Oct. 14), Coldplay announced the dates for its 2022 global tour in support of the upcoming album 'Music of the Spheres.'

By Gil Kaufman

Gil Kaufman

Coldplay announced the dates for an expansive 2022 world tour in support of the group’s upcoming Max Martin-produced album, Music of the Spheres  on Thursday morning (Oct. 14). The stadium outing is slated to kick off on March 18 with the band’s first-ever show in Costa Rica, at the Estadio Nacional, before moving on to the Dominican Republic and Mexico and then touching down in Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on April 23 for a U.S. run slated to last through a June 14 gig at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.

H.E.R. is on board to support the majority of the dates, with London Grammar booked to open a July 10 show in Berlin and an Aug. 16 gig at Wembley Stadium in London. Tickets for the U.S. dates will go on sale to the general public on Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. local time here , with a release teasing that more dates will be announced soon.

Ed Sheeran Joins Coldplay to Perform 'Fix You' & 'Shape of You' at London Album Party

In an effort to make the tour as sustainable as possible, the band announced that all the shows will be powered by 100% renewable energy, with pledges to cut tour emissions by 50% from the group’s 2016-17 world tour and plant one tree for every ticket sold. According to a release, each venue will be equipped with solar installations and other renewable power sources including waste cooking oil and a kinetic stadium floor with kinetic bikes powered by fans that will store energy in the first-ever mobile, rechargeable show battery.

Coldplay are also encouraging fans to use low-carbon transport to and from shows through the official tour app, rewarding those who do with a discount at the venues, in addition to making sure that all merch is sustainably and ethically sourced. There will also be free drinking water and efforts made to eliminate plastic bottles at every venue; click here to see the full list of sustainability goals.

In a statement, the band said, “Playing live and finding connection with people is ultimately why we exist as a band. We’ve been planning this tour for years, and we’re super excited to play songs from across our whole time together. At the same time, we’re very conscious that the planet is facing a climate crisis. So we’ve spent the last two years consulting with environmental experts to make this tour as sustainable as possible, and, just as importantly, to harness the tour’s potential to push things forward. We won’t get everything right, but we’re committed to doing everything we can and sharing what we learn. It’s a work in progress and we’re really grateful for the help we’ve had so far. If you’d like to come to a show and sing with us, we’re so excited to see you.”

Coldplay Add Dates to ‘A Head Full of Dreams’ Tour

By Althea Legaspi

Althea Legaspi

Coldplay  have announced more dates for their ‘A Head Full of Dreams’ tour. The trek will now include 12 more cities, including Las Vegas, Phoenix, St. Louis, Denver and additional cities.

The 22-date U.S. tour kicks off on July 16th in New York at MetLife Stadium for a two-night stand, and currently wraps on September 3rd at San Francisco at Levi’s Stadium. Many of the dates have already sold out. Singer-songwriter Alessia Cara will serve as opener for all the dates. Foxes joins the tour as an additional opener from July 16th through August 6th.

The tour is in support of Coldplay ‘s seventh album, A Head Full of Dreams , their follow-up to 2014’s Ghost Stories .

In February, frontman Chris Martin opened up to Rolling Stone   about his personal life, including his high profile divorce with Gwyneth Paltrow, as well as his welcoming constructive criticism as he and the band shaped their latest album. Martin once presented a song to A Head Full of Dreams’ song contributor Beyoncé that was called “Hook Up.” He played it in the studio for her and producer, Stargate. She turned it down, he told Rolling Stone , “in the sweetest possible way: She told me, ‘I really like you – but this is awful.'”

Last month, Martin stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where he and Fallon performed David Bowie’s “Life on Mars?”  Coldplay also performed a five-track set  comprising their new album’s tunes during a March appearance on Today .

Tickets for the newly added dates will go on sale on April 15th via Live Nation .

Coldplay’s Iconic Hits Have Been Given A Candlelight Makeover In Las Vegas

From "Fix You" to "Hymn for the Weekend", Coldplay's most famous songs are performed on strings at these magical Candlelight tributes to the band.

Ana de la Cámara

Since forming in the late 90s, Coldplay have gone on to mesmerize audiences around the world with their feel-good tunes and relatable lyrics. To pay tribute to the iconic British band, Candlelight has presented several tribute concerts that pay homage to Coldplay’s songs in a unique, classical way. Performed by a string quartet, stunning renditions of their iconic songs have filled gorgeous Las Vegas spaces including The Industrial . Although there are currently no Candlelight tributes to the band in the city, there’s still a broad range of these magical concerts that celebrate a host of artists, genres and more.

A violinist performing by candlelight

Candlelight Tribute to Coldplay

Throughout their 25-year-long career, Coldplay have achieved things that most other bands could only ever dream of. They’ve sold over 100 million records worldwide, sold out stadiums around the world and won major awards, from seven Grammys to nine Brits.

Let yourself be soothed by the calming strings of this series of Candlelight concerts in Vegas. A talented string quartet renders anthems from the iconic British group Coldplay. Experience the warm cords of violins, viola, and cello, bathed in candlelight. The beautiful melodies create the perfect balance with the modern and sleek architecture of The Industrial. And best of all, The Industrial is just 8 minutes away from The Strip!

A sea of candles

After an enormous success around the world—across cities like London, Manchester, Madrid, Barcelona, and Paris—Candlelight brings its unique experience to Las Vegas to pay tribute to one of the most popular and influential rock bands in the world. Get lost in the group’s iconic compositions: “Yellow,” “Paradise,” “Fix You” and so many more fan favorites will be interpreted at this one-of-a-kind Candlelight concert.

What makes this experience magical is the perfect blend of beautiful architecture, the glow of thousands of candles, and the soothing sound of strings. As you step into the lovely venue, a warm and delightful environment takes over you, infusing your experience with stillness.

Are you ready for Coldplay Vegas tour?

In just a few months, Coldplay, the British rock band will be landing in Vegas in their “A head full of dreams” tour. The show is expected to take place in the T-mobile Arena on 1ST of September and the MGM Grand Garden Arena on 18th of the same month. If you are looking for a badass rock concert in Vegas this year, then this is a show you should never miss.

The Coldplay concerts are known for driving massive crowds crazy. If you have attended any of their shows, then you understand me when I say that the earlier you get your ticket, the better. In the Coldplay Vegas tour, things are expected to be even more heated. At the end of last year, the band promised to make 2016 a year of memorable experiences to its diehard fans. The forthcoming Vegas concerts are the most awaited this year.

What makes the Vegas tour special?

According to Chris Martin and the team, “A head full of dreams” is probably the last chance for their fans to see them perform live. The band is expected to take an indefinite break once they are done performing in support of their latest album. This means that unlike past shows, this year concerts will be a bit different. The Coldplay Vegas tour will not be about the new album only, but fans will enjoy some of the band’s oldest songs.

You will have a chance to request your favorite song.

If you have a particular song that you would love to see performed on the stage, you might be on the luck. Coldplay will be taking fans requests in this farewell tour. However, don’t assume it will come that easily. According to Martin, the band will only play your song if you convince them on why it should be played.

They will have something like a passport photo booth where anyone with a special request will go in and say something like “I am Dick, I would like you to play “this song” because……….” If your request convinces them, then your wish will be granted.

Las Vegas is already warming up for the tour.

The Coldplay Vegas tour is probably one of the most awaited events in Nevada this year. In the next one month, the demand for tickets to the concert is expected to go through the roof. This being their last show, the number of fans looking to attend is expected to be very high. If you are looking to save some money and get the best experience in the concert, this is the best time to buy tickets.

This time round, it might not rain confetti butterflies.

If there is something that makes Coldplay shows exhilarating, it is how unpredictable they are. The band is known for its creativity in stage setting and the most amazing lighting choice. There are times when they have gone an extra mile to surprise their fans with the most unimaginable things. Among its most revered concerts is the one that it surprised its fans with electronic wristbands that could glow to the rhythm of the music. The wristbands are estimated to have cost the band over six hundred and forty thousand dollars.

The forthcoming Coldplay Vegas tour might be another chance for the rock band fans to be treated to something amazing. The “A head full of dreams” tour is expected to feature high-tech pyrotechnic visuals and laser lights. The glowing wristbands commonly known as the Xylobands will also be a central part of the show visual design.

Brace yourself for the most amazing opening act.

During the Coldplay Vegas tour, the Canadian R&B and pop musician, Alessia Cara, will perform as the supporting act. The singer, who will be turning 20 during the tour, will be performing to promote her latest album “Know- It- All.”

Coldplay fans will get a chance to witness a live performance of this upcoming musician who is taking the pop industry by a storm since last year. She will be trailing Coldplay in the European and North American tours.

You never know, the POTUS might show up.

In the “A head full of dreams” album, there is a snippet where President Obama is featured singing The Amazing Grace. According to Chris Martin, Obama is one of their greatest fans, and being the president of the United States, the band saw it fit to insert his voice in one of the songs. Even though it is common knowledge that it would take Obama fifty throat surgeries to become an average musician, rock fans would never hate to see their fellow dreamer on stage.

Probably you didn’t know; it all starts in a bakery.

You might be a diehard fan of Coldplay, but did you know that their headquarters and practice space is in a faceless building that was once a bakery. If you have been wondering where their inspiration comes from, then you are now in the know. There is nothing as inspiring to a rock band as operating in a dark old building with bread crumbs from the 18th century sticking out of the walls.

The Coldplay Vegas tour will be an opportunity for fans to get the best of the band since it started performing live shows back in 2003.

Why you should get your ticket right away.

As you already know, the Coldplay Vegas tour is one of the greatest rock music concerts ever to happen in North America. For rock fans, it is one of the most important tours in the history of the world most popular rock bands. With the “A head full of dreams” tour being a farewell, the concert is expected to draw a large number of fans. After the tour, the band will be taking a break for an indefinite period.

If you would wish to enjoy their performance to the full, you have to make sure that you are in the front rows for a better view. You can buy your tickets now to ensure that, come the big day, you will enter the arena as early as possible. With us, you will enjoy the best of services.

Coldplay ‘music of the spheres’ concert tour 2023: how to get tickets.

Thanks for contacting us. We've received your submission.

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin sings on a colorful stage.

Sometimes, you just gotta “Viva La Vida.”

And rather than take time off following their worldwide 2022 “Music of the Spheres Tour,” Coldplay will go hard all year long.

After performing live at the 20th anniversary of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Jan. 26, they’ll serve as the Musical Guest on the Feb. 4 episode of “Saturday Night Live” and then return to the road later this year for international dates in Spain, Great Britain, Italy, Switzerland and The Netherlands before closing their year with a quick seven-concert West Coast tour from Sept. 20 through Oct. 1 .

Although they played a few shows in California and Arizona last year, this time, they’re making sure to cover all their bases.

First, Chris Martin and co. will swoop into the Pacific Northwest and play stadium shows in Seattle (Sept. 20) and Vancouver ( Sept. 22 , Sept. 23 ).

Then, they’ll wrap with four California shows in San Diego ( Sept. 27 , Sept. 28 ) and Pasadena ( Sept. 30 , Oct. 1 ).

Some tickets are fairly inexpensive to see the seven-time Grammy winners too.

In fact, we’re happy to report that some tickets are going for as low as $77 before fees on Vivid Seats at the time of publication.

All prices are subject to fluctuation.

They’ll be joined by H.E.R. and 070 Shake for all North American “Music of the Spheres Tour” dates.

Coldplay 2023 tour schedule

A complete calendar including all of Coldplay’s upcoming tour dates, venues and the cheapest tickets available for each show can be found below.

(Note: The New York Post confirmed all above prices at the publication time. All prices are subject to fluctuation and include additional fees at checkout .)

Vivid Seats is a verified secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They offer a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and your tickets will be delivered prior to the event.

Coldplay opening acts

Each and every North American show will see Coldplay joined by H.E.R. and 070 Shake.

Here’s what you need to know about each of them.

H.E.R. is a 25-year-old singer-songwriter who has become one of the biggest names in R&B over the past few years. In addition to winning a Grammy and Oscar for her original songs, If you want to acquaint yourself with her catalogue, we recommend starting with her 2021 album “Back Of My Mind.”

070 Shake exploded onto the mainstream after singing the hook on controversial rapper Kanye West’s “Ghost Town.” Since then, she’s lent her voice to rappers Nas and Pusha T’s music as well. For a quick primer, make sure to pop in your headphones and try out her records “Modus Vivendi” and “You Can’t Kill Me.”

Coldplay new music

In a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest , Coldplay shared that they’re only going to release “three more albums.”

“…but lots more tours,” Martin told Seacrest. “Sometimes you can just feel when a story is going to end and that’s what I feel about our albums.”

One of those three may be coming soon though.

“We’re finishing an album called ‘Moon Music,'” Martin told City News . “(It) is the second ‘Music Of The Spheres’ volume, but that won’t come out for a little bit.”

Martin added, “We might start playing some songs at some point this year.”

“Jimmy Kimmel Live” 20th Anniversary show

Rather than just invite any old A-Listers to his 20th Anniversary show, Jimmy Kimmel went back to his roots and brought back the guests from his very first episode where he interviewed himself from 20 years ago .

Other guests beside his past self on Jan. 26 were “Ticket to Paradise” star George Clooney, rapper Snoop Dogg and, of course, Coldplay.

You can see Chris Martin’s tongue-in-cheek interview followed by the group’s spellbinding performance of their anthem “Clocks” below.

Huge concert tours in 2023

Coldplay will only be in North America for a short window of time this year.

Thankfully, many huge acts will tour all over the country in the next few months.

Here are just five of our can’t miss, must-see favorites who may be dropping into a stadium or arena near you soon.

•  Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band

•  Taylor Swift

•  Dave Matthews Band

•  Maroon 5

•  The Killers

You already know about those tours?

Well, to make it up to you, here’s some more you should definitely check out in our list of the 52 biggest concert tours in 2023 .

The Oral Cancer Foundation has a new relationship with two powerful entities, the band Coldplay and CharityBuzz. The band has generously offered to allow CharityBuzz to auction three great events at their largest concerts on the band's American tour, raising funds for the oral cancer issue via OCF in the process. At the events, the auction winners will have a chance to meet the band, be part of a one of a kind backstage experience, and then watch the concert from the band's personal reserved seats for family and friends in the best of locations. This is a band that for years, regardless of what continent they are on, sells out stadiums to perform for tens of thousands of fans at each with routine. The band has won 62 awards from 209 nominations throughout their career, including nine Brit Awards—winning Best British Group four times—five MTV Video Music Awards and seven Grammy Awards from 31 nominations. Coldplay have sold more than 80 million records worldwide, making them one of the world's best-selling musical artists. They also have a long history of charity efforts supporting many worthy causes; clearly they are not just musicians but a band with a strong social consciousness. OCF is grateful to be included as an organization worthy of this kind of support from them. Their current tour which has worked its way around the world ( http://timeline.coldplay.com/a-head-full-of-dreams-tour-map /) is soon to arrive in America, where these concerts with auctions benefiting OCF will take place.

While the financial support for the many missions OCF engages in is important, my personal view of this amazing opportunity is focused elsewhere. The foundation represents a deadly disease that in the US too many people have not even heard of until it directly impacts their lives. That lack of visibility, that lack of the disease having a significant voice, has far reaching implications. The most obvious is that without national awareness, the knowledge of avoidable risk factors that might bring you to it does not exist. Further, absent a well-established national screening program, the early discovery of pre-cancers, and early stage disease does not currently take place often. This means poorer long-term outcomes, and a much higher morbidity from the treatments patients must undergo to cope with an advanced stage disease.

While OCF may be the largest of the oral cancer charities, and within that group have the greatest reach, we still are small when compared to charities that represent larger incidence cancers whose names are household words. These large charities impact hundreds of thousands each year in the US alone, and take in tens, if not hundreds of millions of dollars a year in donations to advance their agendas and serve the populations they represent. We do not have those assets to work with......but we can develop strategic partners that can help us in other ways. My thoughts are on what this relationship means to that paradigm. We may be at a tipping point in the disease if we can raise the awareness of it. When people with this much visibility become associated with a problem, it cascades into CHANGE.

I hope all of you who read this, especially those who have had this disease touch their lives, will Share, Tweet, Instagram about this relationship, the auctions, and spread the word, so that this opportunity of increased visibility for oral cancer, and a change from late to early discovery and diagnosis can be realized.

Recent tour reviews

I had always heard Coldplay were a fantastic band to see live. They did not disappoint last night at Fedex Field, right in the midst of their joyous and decidedly over-the-top Head Full of Dreams tour.

The show began with an explosion of color and light (including the LED wristbands supplied to every concertgoer) in the titular track on the band's touring album. Then came fan-favorite "Yellow," followed by "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall," the ever-popular "The Scientist," and "Birds" (the latter was a bit of a personal disappointment as it replaced the brilliant "God Put a Smile Upon Your Face" from recent setlists). This part of the show finished with the anthem "Paradise," featuring an incredible remix outro.

Next the show slowed down for an intimate trio of songs (most of us actually took a seat). This included one of the better tracks from the sub-par "Ghost Stories", "Magic."

Soon, however, things picked up with the timeless piano strokes of "Clocks," themed to a magical red light show. Next came the lighthearted "Charlie Brown." Before it began, lead singer Chris Martin asked everyone to put away their phones and simply enjoy the show. This was followed by the radio hit "Hymn for the Weekend," a candlelit (okay...Iphone flashlight lit) "Fix You," and "Viva la Vida." This last one was remarkable, as nearly the entire stadium knew the lyrics and sang along to the triumphant "Oh-oh-ohhhh" chant. The groovy "Adventure of a Lifetime" finished off this section, featuring Chris gettin' down with the audience, asking everyone to "Get low!"

Then came the highlight of the night for me: an acoustic quad of older (*cough* better *cough*) Coldplay songs which were as intimate as they were nostalgic. The lovely riffs of "In my Place" started off the set. "Don't Panic" was sung by drummer Will Champion; it's one of my favorites. But it couldn't top what was (for me) the best song of the night: "Trouble." Somber but beautiful in its own way, "Trouble" is a rare find in the setlists of today's Coldplay and was absolutely fantastic. Finally came another rare gem: "Green Eyes," which was somewhat marred by Chris's well-intentioned attempt at giving the local Redskins some luck (HA! what folly) by changing the lyrics.

The finale of the show was the hopeful and popular trio of "Something Just like This," "A Sky Full of Stars," and "Up and Up." This last track was played against the backdrop of the magical and visually stunning music video for the song.

And if there were two adjectives to sum up the show as a whole, they would be just that: magical and visually stunning. Thanks for an awesome show, Coldplay!

First of all I need to just say wow! Wow! Yesterday I experienced one of the greatest nights of my life. Yesterday I really did feel like I was part of something special, something so big and beautiful. The love, the happiness and the excaitment people were feeling last night were something you can't put words on. We stood in the rain for so many hours, we sat in a que and then we stood in the rain again.. but let me just say that when Coldplay came on stage they put on the best god damn show ever. You could really feel their thankfulness during the show. They promised us (in Chris Martins own words) "The best fucking show ever" and let me tell you it was! During the night I got to experience people from different countries dancing and singing along together, I got to experience that moment when Chris decided to write a new song about Sweden and Gothenburg! The night was amazing in so many ways. And just as he said during the night, that he believes when people are working together and last night everybody in that arena stood together. We celebrated the music, the evening and most of all we celebrated the love. Because in the end of the day Love is what matters and it will always win.

Yesterday was beautiful, just pure beautiful!

A Coldplay concert is a real face to face experience for a someone who love their songs. It may not be an intimate experience but considering the legions of fans that they have only a concert can accommodate everyone who are waiting all their lives for a chance to hear them live. and they never disappoint. A total performance complete with lasers and light and firework BUT without much fanfare, just them singing & playing their hearts OUT song after song alone or in harmony with the fans some crying, most gleefully dancing to their upbeat song or swaying OR slow dancing to slow Fix You or Yellow and probably thinking of someone they "cannot replace". Chris Martin is an awesome guy and so are the rest of the band. May their personal lives be as awesome as their professional lives, they deserve that too. as to Singapore, it may not be as engaging as it would be in the Philippines but hey, no one can complain; i had the best time celebrating my birthday in one of the best stadium this side of town with around 50K Coldpay fans celebrating with me :) :). Long live Coldplay, may you continue to bring joy to you fans worldwide. Looking forward to another Coldplay concert experience in the future.

Coldplay Announce 2023 Tour Dates

By Matthew Strauss

Coldplay

Coldplay have announced 2023 dates on their world tour in support of Music of the Spheres . Next year, the band will perform in Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, and the Netherlands. Find Coldplay’s schedule and a trailer for the tour below.

Coldplay famously declined to tour in support of Everyday Life for environmental reasons. The band has set out to make the Music of the Spheres World Tour more sustainable, with a press releasing touting concerts powered entirely by renewable energy. For example, there have been solar panels and wind turbines at every venue to help power the shows.

Las Vegas Sphere: Ultimate guide to seats, prices and how to see Dead Forever in 2024

coldplay tour las vegas

Competing for attention in Las Vegas with neon signs, billboards and mega-resorts that resemble European palaces and Egyptian pyramids is no easy feat.

But an eight-month-old orb with a talent for shapeshifting is stealing a little of their thunder.

Sphere at The Venetian Resort , an entertainment venue that opened September 2023 just off the Las Vegas Strip , has garnered much attention since its debut for its immersive audio-visual experiences.

See the 366-foot-tall venue from the outside at night and it captivates people for its ability to project images from its exterior shell (also called the Exosphere) containing 580,000 square feet of LED lights, whether it's the Earth, the surface of Mars, a blinking eye, or an emoji. It developed a reputation for causing traffic gridlock since the projections began last year during the Fourth of July.

Inside, the venue's 160,000-square-foot display with 16K by 16K resolution displays immersive visuals, backed by the world's largest beamforming audio system, according to The Venetian .

If you're planning a trip to Las Vegas, check our guides on the best ways to get there from Phoenix , free things to do , which hotels offer free parking , and how to check for bedbugs in hotels .

If you can't get to Vegas just yet, the newly opened Caesars Republic Scottsdale hotel and upcoming VAI Resort in Glendale offer the luxury of Vegas in the Valley, though neither has a casino.

Here's everything to know about the Las Vegas Sphere.

What is the Sphere in Las Vegas?

Described on its website as "a next-generation entertainment medium that is redefining the future of live entertainment," Sphere is an immersive venue that uses haptics (seats that can move and vibrate), atmospheric simulations and visual effects to "transport audiences to places real and imagined."

The Sphere Experience, the main attraction inside the Sphere, is a two-part attraction. The first part, guided by a humanoid robot called Aura, includes a 360-degree avatar capture and a 50-foot-high holographic installation.

The second part is a viewing of an immersive film called "Postcard From Earth" by director Darren Aronofsky on Sphere's largest, highest-definition screen. "Postcard From Earth" is described as part nature documentary, part science fiction movie.

Sphere has also hosted concerts, with U2 inaugurating it with a 40-show residency that launched on Sept. 29, 2023. Sporting events are coming as well: UFC President Dana White said in February that he booked Sphere for UFC 306, scheduled for Sept. 14, 2024.

Where is the Sphere in Las Vegas?

Sphere is at the intersection of Sands Avenue and Koval Lane, just off the Las Vegas Strip and about 1 mile east of The Venetian.

Its address is 255 Sands Ave., Las Vegas.

Who owns the Sphere in Las Vegas?

Sphere is owned by Sphere Entertainment Co., which was spun off from Madison Square Garden Entertainment in April 2023.

Can you go inside the Vegas Sphere?

Yes, but it will cost you. Every guest must have a ticket for a show to enter the Sphere.

How many people does the Sphere hold?

Sphere can seat 17,500 people and has a standing room capacity of 20,000, according to The Venetian .

Do the seats move in the Sphere?

Of the Sphere's 17,500 seats, 10,000 of them are described as "haptic seats," or seats that are capable of moving and vibrating.

Where are the bad seats in the Sphere?

Any seats with an overhang of upper levels will obstruct the view of the stage and/or screen.

USA Today's 10Best suggests avoiding certain seats in the far right and far left sections in the 100 level, where rows 30 and higher are completely obstructed by the overhang.

The 200, 300 and 400 levels offer the best seats.

How long does the Sphere Experience last?

The Sphere Experience lasts just under two hours, with 60 minutes for the interactive experiences and 50 minutes for the "Postcard From Earth" film.

How long will U2 be at the Sphere?

U2 played the final show of its U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere residency on March 2, 2024.

Who is performing at the Sphere in 2024?

After U2's residency ended, the jam band Phish became the second music act to play Sphere. Their four-show residency ran April 18-21.

Members of Dead & Company, a spinoff of the Grateful Dead featuring former members Bob Weir and Mickey Hart along with singer and guitarist John Mayer, will perform a 24-show Sphere residency called Dead Forever. The residency, which runs from May 16 to July 13, will begin a year after their final tour made a stop in Phoenix .

How much does it cost to go to Sphere Vegas?

It depends on the show and what day you plan to visit.

The Sphere Experience starts at $79 per person during the week and $99 per person on weekends.

Tickets for Dead & Company's Dead Forever residency start at $145 per person.

Is the Sphere worth going to?

Sphere has attracted an assortment of highly positive and highly negative reviews from travelers.

It has a user rating of 4.3 out of 5 stars on Google. One user, Phillipe Beaumier , called Sphere "a once in a lifetime experience" and described the immersive audio and visual as "so incredible, you feel like you are part of the travel!"

Tripadvisor users gave Sphere more mixed reviews, with an overall rating of 3 out of 5 stars. Most of its bad reviews were critical of the message of the "Postcard From Earth" film in the Sphere Experience.

A one-star review from a Tripadvisor user named Kathryn W. expressed disappointment with the Sphere Experience's humanoid robots and how "a couple of robots that are comparable to (Amazon's virtual assistant) Alexa can't answer a question." Kathryn added that the moving seats "could be mistaken for someone kicking the back of your chair."
